I hope we get to see Prof Mcgonnagle do more magic. In the past movies she hardly ever did any magic and I would really like to see her put her wand to the test. Esp in the fight scenes etc. I worry that the actess who plays her is getting old and will last to the last film. It would be right without Dame Maggid Smith. I think she is awsome! I have always wondered how powerful she really was? Can she do wandless magic like dumbledore and is she very skilled with the wand?

Yeah, I want to see some more magic from McGonagall too. It would be nice to see how talented she is with the wand, and just exactly how powerful she is. It seems like she has done wandless magic before, like in CoS or something. At least they should show her making the desks attack, because that was one of the best parts of the book.
I looked it up on Wikipedia, and found out that Maggie Smith is currently 72 years old, which means that by the time that HPDH comes out in the movie theater, that she will be 75.

I really think we will get to see McGonagall doing more magic, I've always been disappointed, if that's the word, that we never get to see wands properly used. In Deathly Hallows, she's got the duel with Voldemort along with Slughorn and Kingsley, I think it is..but she's got the duel with Snape as well so here's hoping they don't cut either.
Jason Isaacs used a phrase on the extras of the Order of the Phoenix DVD that I quite liked...
So maybe in Deathly Hallows we'll "get to see some Olympic-level, ninja wandage".
How cool is that phrase?!
And I've just realised that I was 8, maybe 9, when the first book came out and I'll be 21 when I see the last film. I feel so very, very old...

I definitely want to see more of McGonagall. I mean, I don' t think she was as powerful as Dumbledore but she always came off extremely skilled in the books. Plus, she's an animagus, and that takes years of powerful magic to pull off.
Especially in the last part of the book where she starts summoning all the Hogwarts' statues to defend the school and she fights with them-- that gave me goosebumps.
She's 74, so she's no spring chicken, I certainly hope she makes it. It would like seeing another HP character die. I'd see it more as McGonagall dying not, Smith-- which is kinda weird but that's how I'd feel.

One of my absolute favorite parts of DH was McGonagall leading a charge of desks, and I will be heartbroken if that doesn't make it into the movie. And also the part where Harry hits that Carrow with the Cruccio curse after he spat on her. Classic!

I would love to see her do more magic because she is an awesome witch. I don't remeber her being the DH enough to see her do a lot in the movies. I think she might end up getting cut for the most part.

I would love to see Professor McGonagall do tons more magic! She is my favorite professor besides Snape and she's an amazing witch! She knows so much good magic I'd be sad if they cut her out a lot. I'd love to see the part where she has the statues defend Hogwarts like Riddle Me This said. It would be so exciting!

hard to believe it will have been 12 years of Harry Potter by the end won't it. I'll be around 15 by the end, meaning I was 3 when book 1 came out.
on the topic of McGonagall, I too hope we see her perform more magic. As it is we've only seen her transform into a cat a few times, and turn a bird into a glass of water. Not really doing her justice at the moment.
