Thank you for reading A Fallen Love, my Febraury One-Shot entry. It is a description of one the days where Remus feels lonely and sad. It takes place after the war, when all the chaos has stopped and normal life has returned. The characters I used for the contest theme were Remus Lupin and Minerva McGonagall. Remus has been given a second chance at life, whilst Minerva has been cut short.

Oh dear, Lauren. *snif* It was really, really good! So sad... McGonnagall... But I loved it, great ideas and amazing writing! For some reason I really liked the second paragraph... very pretty.

You were awesome at reflecting Remus's thoughts and emotions, + you respected the theme really well. I think it was a very good idea to include flashbacks! I wouldn't be surprised if other people did that too, but you definitely nailed it!

Awh thanks N. I really liked this one too, I think it's one of my better short stories personally. I tried to capture the sadness and judging by your reaction I think I might have acheived what I was looking for. It took me 8 days to write! I wanted to be in the right mood so it had the same feeling all the way throughout but I had to wait until I was not so bouncy before I could finish.

And about McGonagall, I had originally planned to have Mundungus Fletcher as the dead person but I wasn't sure if he lived or not so I changed it.

That was soooooo good!! Oh my god, I almost cried. how terrible for him to have to bear all that after his everything he'd already been through. It was very beautifully written, almost poetic. And so so sad.

You really captured what he would be feeling very well, after loosing a person as important to him as Tonks was. that's just downright depressing.
Anyway, it was very good. I'm definetly voting for you!!

Keep up the good work! Now I want to go read your other fanfic! But not right now because im about to fall asleep.

Hey Snargaluffpod, thanks for reading it. Yeah Remus did die, the theme this month was to write a story about a character that had died and give him a second chance at life. And this was what I thought up. I thought it seemed a bit poetic too, and the depresion was a key point for me.

Excellent job, Lauren! Your fic has great descriptions and such deep emotion. I felt my heart-strings being pulled while reading it.

I love how you brought Lupin back. At least Teddy will have one parent. But his love and devotion to Tonks was so moving. You certainly did them justice.

My favorite part was: It just sounds so full of hope.

Lauren, your fic is beautiful! It is very sad, but it shows how much Lupin loved Tonks and how he had to bear all his suffering and the ghost of Tonks to rise their child.
I usually don't read many fics but R/Hr's, but yours is incredibly emotive ... you have a sense for feelings.
Rain always helps to do oneself's fics more tragic and sadder ... it works with me.
