We may or may not have discussed this ... i don't really remember (i've been through three different threads now ). I'll answer anyway.

I think Ron has just matured over the years. Ron did comfort ehr about Bicky (her rabbit who died) in PoA, and maybe in 6th year, she noticed how much he'd grown into a (hot) young man. I don't think she was mad at Hermione, but i do think she knew about RHr.

Like, on the inside, she knew RHr was going to happen someday, but on the other hand, she really fancied Ron. Knowing that Ron wasn't making any moves on her any time soon, she leapt at the chance at the Quidditch after party, and was delighted when he accepted.

Of course, she always knew deep down that Ron was too in love with Hermione to stop ging after her, to be with Lavender instead, so maybe when she saw Ron and Hermione coming from the boys' dormitories, she decided that he was going to get off with her, and ended the relationship.

That's my theory. Can't wait to see it on screeeeeeeen. (Thanks for that, Cristi-lol).

Probably because he was finally getting [overly] confident. And Lavender was probably all Qudditch-player-crazy. And, quite frankly, Ron is tall. I don't think she even cared about Hermione until she started getting annoyed by the two snogging. And the whole 'omg they are in the Dorm ALONE' thing.

To answer the question about what attracted her to Ron; I don't think it had anything to do with hating Hermione. I agree with the one that said that she probably knew about RHr, but seeing neither of them made any moves, she maybe thought it wouldn't happen. I think the whole relationship was mainly supperficial.

I think that it wouldn't have changed much. I mean, maybe they would have bothered Harry with all the snogging they would be doing and then Harry would feel really, really lonely because Ginny would be very far away...and us RHr fans would have been removed from our misery and waiting sooner but I don't think there would be a huge difference.

I think that Ron would have still gone away: I mean, it wasn;t the environment but the stupid locket. I think that it would've taken even more time to get Hermione back because they would be a couple and I think that's a tad bit worse abandoning a the girlfriend you love, who loves you back, then abandoning your friend who you love, who loves you back, but you both don't know it. Hermione would probably think 'Did he ever even love me? Why did he leave?' and stuff like that. Idk, that's just how I see it.

3) At Dumbledore's funeral
4) At Bill and Fleur's wedding

6) When he got worried about the Cattermole's fate
7) When he came back
8) At Shell Cottage

About when we thought they were going to kiss. Does anyone think Harry himself expected them to kiss when Ron came back because I recall it saying something like he woke Hermione up, and then stood back and tried to blend into the canvas!! I think he even a little expected that to happen.

Haha, he annoyed me when he interrupted the whole 'Cattermole' scene where it says something like he felt like he interrupted Hermione kissing him or something. I think if he hadn't reminded Hermione he was there they would have...

Oh, and I don't think much would have changed if they'd have gotten together during the wedding and it's probably best that they didn't because they wouldn't be getting much 'Alone time' and they also wouldn't want Harry to feel left out, so maybe they subconciously left the kiss until they absolutely had to because they knew once they started they wouldn't be able to stop
