If a magical Harry Potter with wings came up to you and told you "I will grant you three wishes so what are they?"

Rules:
You can't wish for more wishes
You can't wish for a magical genie which will grant you as many wishes as you want

Mine are:

1. to meet JKR
2. to be a character in one of the future HP books and play me in the movie
3. to have a magical wallet that never runs out of money so i can donate heaps of money and end world hunger and poverty

• To stop some narrow minded people think that I'm quiet shy and
  skinny which I'm not. When people say that around me it basically drives me nuts!

Let's pretend that one day you picked up a bottle, out came a genie. Then, it promised to grant you only one wish. If, you cannot wish for 1000 wishes or anything like that, what would you choose?

I would wish that I would have the power to grant wishes, that includes to myself. That would be good 'cos I would be able to get anything and give stuff to others too.

This sounds really stupid, but I'd wish to meet JK Rowling. She truly is my hero and meeting her would make my life just that much better. I have so many questions I want to ask her, and meeting her would be so much better than just writing them down in a letter and waiting for a reply that you may never get.

Typical me would ask for more wishes, but since I cannot do that...

Hmm...I'd really like to be able to read people's minds whenever I feel like it...I'd really like to be able to be invisible whenever...But I think I would wish I could speak and understand every main language spoken on earth. Not every one, because that would be a lot of languages. But like spanish, french, german, chinese, japanese, italian, russian, african(is there a language for that?), you get my drift. I think that would be really neat. I could just start talking to people in some weird language and laugh at them because they have no idea what I'm talking about. But it would be very useful too if I ever traveled or anything. I would love it.

I wish I had was a real witch. Then I would be able to real magic like Harry, Hermione, and Ron... whoopee! Haha, my first choice would be for more wishes, but since I can't have that, being a witch is better...much better.

I like the invisibility and mind-reading wishes, Aubrey... I might go for the mind-reading, myself. It actually hadn't occurred to me at all before I read your post, but now that I'm thinking about it, there are an awful lot of times when I want to know what's going on in someone else's mind (okay, typing that out makes me feel really creepy ). But seriously, other people's perceptions have an enormous influence over everyone's behavior, and although I try to judge the reactions that I receive in a conversation, for instance, it's impossible to know exactly what effect I'm having on people... hence the mind-reading coming in handy.

Surprisingly, I don't think I'd like the witch thing too much. I might have wanted to go to Hogwarts earlier on in the series, but at this point, we've got terrorism in the Muggle world, terrorism in the Wizarding world... may as well stay where I am. Although the idea of waving a wand, saying "pack," and watching my bedroom clean itself does sound rather appealing right now... hmm.

I would wish for peace on Earth and an end to famine...............if I was up for Miss Universe. But since I'm not and never will be I think I'd wish for a brilliant, well paying job that makes me happy. That or my own self-sufficient island that has electricity and enough room for crops and everything else that's important. Of course I'd take some people with me, and rent out houses. Then we'd live in a Utopian society where I was the Queen. lol, no we'd all be equal, I'd just be the owner.

I would wish to end world hunger, or that there were a million animals of an endangered species like pandas or something like that. Oh, i have a good one! that the world couldnt be polluted!

I'd wish to be Thin.

Yes... it's shallow, but it gets me down and the like, and therefore i'd be able to do so many things with my life

I wish to be a famous novelist. I wish to make a difference in literature and have lots of aspiring authors look up to me!!

I'm sorry to do this after a month, but going through the older threads, there's been a well established 'three wishes' thread- so since there's been a few replies here already, I'm going to merge the two together. Without wanting to change the rules on people, but I guess you can either answer it as 'one' or 'three' wishes- but since both threads have established the same rule of 'no-more-wishes', it shouldn't be a too big of a deal

It's funny - when you think about it, there's such a big difference between a want and a wish. For example, I want to be successful, to be happy, to be a journalist when I get older, to see my boyfriend (who is a couple hundred miles away from me right now ). But all of those things are up to me. There's no use wishing them, because I can accomplish them on my own. I guess I would wish not to have to worry about money for school, but even that isn't a very good wish because I do have loans and such for most of what isn't covered by scholarships - it's just that it would be nice not to have to pay them back haha. To fly? That would be really cool I think I'm putting far too much thought into such a simple question. So I suppose I'd wish to have school completely paid for. And I'd better end this now before I change my mind again

well for the 3 wishes option, I'd choose these for my wishes:

1. to end and prevent all genocides.

as for the one wish (to rule them all haha) I'd choose my first wish from up there. I mean, so what if we meet famous people? innocent people are being killed in places like Darfur each day.

I have so many wishes, but some defy eachother. Here are the things I wish would happen in order:

1) Get into a performing arts high school for dance.
then, during my first year there...

I simply love her, and it's really a character I'd be pleased to know better. Even for a day, would be nice; but if she can stay for more than a day, I'd be fascinated...

See, that way I could learn 'Aguamenti' and some spell to create food. I would travel all over the world to give free food and water to the poor people and persons who needs it...

3. I'd like to fly too...
If I have the ability of flying, I would be able to share it with someone. I'd rather prefer having beautiful angel wings than simply float or levitate. It'd be wonderful to have wings...

First, for the real world:
1)Eternal,immortal life(I mean the eternal youth variety). However, I am not stubborn. If there's a problem then I even have an alternative: Guarantee my place in heaven(with the prettiest angels) and a painless death!
2)M-o-n-e-y!More than any one else!
3)Intelligence(more than anyone ever)!

And in Harry Potter:
1)All Dark Creatures(Dementors,Inferi,Acromantula,etcetc) permanently disappear.

sorry I know this is a little off topic, but that just made me laugh because my other half and his familyare very religious - so I always joke that I'll just carry on being not-so-moral and hopefully get in on their familly pass like "its alright, I'm with them"

oh and can I amend mine given that its now about 11pm and I have a prwesentation in about 10 hours time I'd either like to make my first wish in my previous post three times or at the very least make my second a wish to give me the kick up the bum I need to get me off the forum and back to work and erm third one would be to erm...get some sleep
