Wow, as it I never realized it before. I've read the books so many times and I always just assumed that he had every CD imaginable. I never once thought of it like that. But if you think about it, which day was the first day he started coming to watch her? It was the night she rejected everyone right? So would that be before or after the CD incident? Just a thought. I assume it would be before the CD, but I'll have to look it up. My point to those questions was, what if it was just a strange coincidence for that particular event?

Hahaha. Alright I have only two theories and that's it. Nothing else comes to mind. Although this one isn't likely I feel like Renee knows about there secret, but I know it can't be but still it would be interesting.

Then again it can be about the wedding because right now that's all Alice really cares about she cares more about the wedding than Edward or Bella and Renee was saying that she was going to do something or not, and if they don't abide by what Alice wants then she will get mad oh Alice (: I love her.. Sorry guys but I doubt it. I'm quite obsessed with the quotes and at precisely midnight every day/night Stephenie's Myspace updates with the new quote. It just updated a couple minutes ago with that same quote. So I think maybe they just jumped the gun on the Twilight site.

I'm almost positive that it has to do with the wedding. I know so many girls that try to help out with weddings and such and one person always takes control. It would be Alice in this situation to take control and because she tends to go over the top with stuff like this, she wouldn't trust anyone else with the details. And for Renee to want to help...well that just increases my belief that its about the wedding. Which makes me squeal like a schoolgirl deep down inside.

I believe that Renee is probably more intuned to the way things are, and would take Alice maybe in a different way. It again has to be about the wedding. Renee probably suggested to them to do something in particular and Alice flipped out. You know how anal she is with all of her planning.

Well I think that you maybe right Honeybee, but then again her mom is easy to persuade her to think that she is wrong. Besides we know that her mom can't know the truth. Awww I think that's the cutest quote so far! Regardless of what her dream may be it's still really sweet(: Now getting down to buisness and the meaning behind it. It might be of course something that has to do with Edward being away. But let's also think outside the box. We have the possiblity that it's Edward going away but then it might be about Jacob's return or departure. Depending by what part of the book is said. As for the quote, first (sigh) can Edward be any more adorable???? I wish my guy would do things like that. I'm most definately looking forward to Alice going overboard, even though she promised she wouldn't. It's just typical Alice, and she's always a laugh. I'm hoping Jacob does come to the wedding (as a wolf), but doesn't actually ruin everything (yeah, like that's going to happen).

We have been getting a lot of sneak previews of the movie, but i honestly don't mind-i'm fully satisfied, and it's made me more excited. But then, i wish they wouldn't leak it all out, because it'll be like you seen the movie before you see the movie.

1. That the wedding actually takes place!! Can't you just visualize how HOT Edward will be in a tux. Ahhhhh.....
2. I wouldn't mind if Jacob came to the wedding, I just hope that he's imprinted by then and will be on his best behavior!
3. I can't wait to see how Alice decks everything out. I wonder what her dress will look like? Flowers? Everything!!!

That might be also true Lily_Potter. It can be her worrying about her transformation, the possibilities, seeing as she has a tendency of being pessimistic lol also it can be about the wedding. She's worried about the outcome of anything happened, but I'm rooting more for her just having nightmares about being a newborn.

I have an awful sense of foreboding about the wedding not going to plan. Someone will turn up that isn't welcome, be it Jacob from Bellas point of view despite his invite from Edward. The Volturi will no doubt get wind of things and then there's is Tanya. I'd hate it if she put the mockers on things.

I would love for Bella to be finally ecstatically happy about marrying Edward. Her reluctance is painful for poor Edward. I hate that it's her hormones forcing her hand. She should want to marry him because she wants to spend the rest of her life with him mortal or immortal.

As you etphonehome, I am looking foreward to if Bella would be happy about marrying Edward and doing because she wants to be with him forever, not because she "wants" him. I guess most of us would be happy to accept a guy like Edward if you share that kind of love as they do. I hope she will not back out!
And I am looking very much foreward to see what happens to Jacob. That is going to be a bit complex I guess.

Hahah. Nicely putten Lulu xD Well then, I really do hope that all is well for Bella and Edward. I mean think about this, Bella and Edward since the beginning were describe so beautifuly. They are not the regular, guy is hot, nerdy girl doesn't seem to have a chance and BAM it works out at the end. This is developed nicely. You can clearly see how much Stephenie Meyer LOVES these characters, she wants them to be together as much as the next person. So I believe that they will be together. Besides I think that Bella does love him. She just doesn't want to marry. She wants to spent life together but maybe she is actually scared to marry because maybe she doesn't want to end up like her parents? And that so far everything seems to be fine without the marriage thing. Maybe it's a different reason. And she wants to be "with" him, because seeing as he has been her first everything, [and assuming that she is his first?] she wants to seal it so when she is a vampire, knowing that they have all these memories, I don't know I am a hopeless romantic and I'm letting my imagination run wild<3

I also found something that's pretty much a resume of what I've been trying to... express. It's a good idea to follow the plot and include crucial items, but it's never gonna be exactly like the book.


As for Harry Potter/Twilight, I just don't compare them. For three reasons, essentially. 1) I don't want to. 2) It's two different kinds of obsessions. HP is just a humongous, addicting world that I know everything about and that I never get tired of posting and thinking and watching and reading about. It's more on the knowledge side, for me. Twilight, though, is just... I dunno. There's less information to retain, Edward is just amaaaaazing, the whole thing is addicting, and I find it even less tiring than HP. I guess it's more on the... addictive side, I think? I don't really know how to explain it. And finally, 3) You can't really compare the two. Like I said, HP is a much, much bigger universe than Twilight, and they're different types of story. Sure, they're both fantasies with amazing people and all, but Twilight is a love story, and HP isn't- it's more of a 'saving the world' story.



That's a good point. Maybe, like, deeeeep, deeeeeep down, she subconciously has this fear of ending up like her parents, and it's part of why she's scared but she doesn't know it.

So, Taylor Lautner wants to work out for New Moon and Eclipse's shirtless scenes. Well that's a good start. I think there's still the little issue with the height, though. Five-nine to six-two, anyone...? Hmm. He has the perfect looks for Jacob, in my mind, but I've listened to his interview and it just... I dunno. Or.. it could be that Emmett is excited about the bachelor party and probably suggested the strip club, and Rosalie shot down that idea. What are your theories??

Though I feel I need to say I love this quote. It's got two ways. Either Rosalie's defending Bella (because she's come to care for her), OR they (the other vampires) want her to do something which she does not like. I like the first one the best!

It's in regards with Jacob and imprint and Bella since that seems to still be a hot topic, and alot still believe that it might happen. But this is my theory of why it didn't and other stuff.
Jacob says that when imprint happens its like you would do anything for the person right and it's like love. and that you can't go against imprint. Well what if, since they can't really research much on werewolf imprint, what if imprinting is more than meets the eye? What if imprint makes you imprint on someone that will love you back just the same? Like your other half? I mean if he hasn't imprinted on bella by now, and assuming that my theory is correct, wouldnt that mean that Bella isn't for him, and that they are just forcing it? That Bella really wouldn't be able to return the love back to him as much as he would have for her? I mean if imprint is the way that I theorize[sp?] then imprint helps you find 'the one' and the one that will love you back the way you deserve to be loved. Maybe this means that although Bella loves Jacob, it's not the love that he deserves? Maybe she isn't like his other half that will love him the way he shoudld.I don't know the entire thought just landed in my head.

What do you all think? This can turn into a good discussion. Unless this is way over due and shouldn't be brought up. If so then apologies in advance.

Oh My Gosh I just had a HORRIBLE thought. What if the reason she turned the perspective from bella to jacob was because, of the imprinting? Doesnt the imprinting just happen spontaneously? They never know when it will happen and who is is. It is just so random. hm... but back to my terrible theory. what if the reason for the perspective change was because somehow all of a sudden he did imprint on her. and she turned to him? and just left edward? oh my that is horrible! im sorry for even thinking that! haha. im so glad there is a twilight thread! I finished all 3 books in 5 days. Actually i just finished twilight yesterday! haha. i loved it! i also read them out of order but i had to read them and i got new moon and eclipse first! sorry. but i hope edward turns her into a vampire. Sam believed that Leah was the one for him remember and he didn't fall out of love with her just because he imprinted on Emily. Remember Jacob saying, 'It is possible to be in love with two people at the same time, I've seen it happen'! That's who he was refering to. So although I belive he wiill never imprint with Bella, she is, to him the love of his life, it's just that something more intense will come along as it did for Sam and Emily and Bella and Edward.

hm..thats true. i forgot he was mean to her. and plus, think about this. if he had imprinted on her, he would have been able to tell her everything. but Jake didnt, he made her guess. so that means that he didnt imprint on her.
so i guess theres the proof that imprinting happens, not right after you change, but right when you see the person after the first change has happened.

and nicky, about your theory, about imprinting on someone who will be your other half..im not too sure about that. because remember how Emily didnt really like Sam at first, but then she fell in love with him? its just like how Jake said that its hard to not fall for someone who adores you so much.

I agree with Nicky, Honeybee, I think you pretty much got it. I really couldn't see him saying that to anyone else, but Bella. Alrighty, I just got back from San Diego, where I was extremely lucky enough to attend comic-con this year and the TWILIGHT PANEL DISCUSSION. First, I have to say, oh. my. god. it was INCREDIBLE! I won't go into details about what was said because the links that nicky potter posted pretty much sum up everything that happened. If you want exact details then please feel free to pm me. Anyway, what a day! First there was a raffle going on where if you picked a winning ticket, you got a wristband that would get you into a signing area where you could get an autograph from Stephenie Meyer. I was one of the first in line for the raffle, but....I didn't pick a winning ticket. The guy in front me did though and I seriously considered on jumping him and ripping that wristband right off and making a run for it, but I fought the urge and went on my way. I stopped by the Summit Entertainment booth next and they were giving away mini posters of twilight and what I suppose can be described as trading cards of the all the characters. There was also a game, which I won, where you had to spin a wheel and if it landed on Twilight, then you got a giant Twilight movie poster, like the ones that you see hanging around theaters. Finally, I headed to the panel discussion where there was complete pandemonium! Everyone was screaming so loud and there were hundreds and hundreds of people. I think I must have taken like 200 pictures which by the way I will share once I download them. The whole day was just amazing. I am so freakin hyped up right now, it's crazy! Twilight! Woooo!!!! Team Edward!!!

I think the imprinting theories pretty interesting. I'm not sure if Jacob will imprint at all, really. I think it's a mixture of how in love he is with Bella and the fact that he's never done it (though there's others who have, well that's besides the point). I my theory is that he'll never imprint, never turn back into a human and wallow in self-pity for the rest of his life.

Er, well a girl can dream. I actually really like Jacob, and i hope he'll find someone in BD.

As for the quote, for some reason, i can imagine him talking to Alice. She's done something and is singing really annoying songs in her head to keep him out. The next sentance could be like "And why are you singing the National Anthem backwards?"

Alright I want EVERYONE to have a say in this becasue I don't want to spoil. The extra length footage of the ballet studio scene that was shown in ComiCon has been recorded and found on youtube I have the link to it. And just going back to Jacob imprinting. The answer Stephenie gave about seeing the 'one' when a werewolf first phases doesn't mean that it won't happen. It doesn't specifically say when a werewolf phases for the first time....I'm going to keep an open mind here! Only because I don't want Jacob to be alone!

Am I the only one who watched that Rob is writing the lullaby on MTV a long while ago?. I thought all of you knew!. Wow, then I should have posed a link to MTV a lot sooner. But it was first when I saw the other videos that I found out that Muse is involved. Wow, that is going to be great. I like how the director (Catherine Hardwicke?) is so enthustiatic about the whole thing and very artistic. I think I am going to look up some of her other works...

I also hope that Jacob finds someone. I really like him, he is a nice BOY, but not the one for Bella. He should find the one for him, and though he might think that Bella is his ONE love, he can find other love. It won't be the same, who knows, it might be better.

No, I watched that interview when it was first shown too.

But it was never confirmed although Catherine did say that it had been brought up and I recall her mentioning in that MTV interview about asking Muse to do some music for the movie too. Also Kristen asked Rob about it and he went all coy if I recall. To have her confirm it and to say Rob had written other songs for the movie is great.



I think the reason that Rob got tthe job (this was in another CH interview) was because during Robs audition, in which they used her bed, the chemistry was such that he did get a bit carried away(falling off the bed). She was impressed by this and it got him the part. However, he did say in a few interviews that he had a crush on Kristen and you could see a bit of flirting but I think it was just talk.

If you go to the Robert Pattisnson thread, I have posted a link to Robs rather unique singing. The song is, well individual and since he does play in a band, I'm sure that he sings different stuff than this normally.

Anne, I'm so glad that you enjoyed it. I would have loved to go but of course there's that wee detail about me being about 3 days away and in another country. But it sounds like it was a blast. The whole trading card thing I find is really cute.


That's pretty awesome how it was confirmed. I had seen the interview with Kristen and Catherine talking about it, but as you said it hadn't been confirmed yet. I think Rob's music will add a more personal touch to the movie and it'll probably add up to a lot of squealing fan girls in the theatre. That'll be fun to listen to. And Muse being involved too is amazing. All in all I think the movie will live up to my own expectations.


I heard his singing a while back and while apparently a lot of people were being really nasty about it, I found it to be enjoyable.

Finally, the quotes of the day are making my head spin! I've looked at them all and they lead me to the conclusion that this book will be packed with sweet/sarcastic moments. Which I adore of course.

Haha, looks like etphonehome beat me to the punch and posted the link. I was just about to do it(: Well then for me the clip was awesome. I think that they did a great job. I was able to sense the evil behind James, the fear in Bella's face and the quick protectivness of Edward. I really have a good feeling of the movie. The entire time my jaw was dropping in awe and amazement. I cringed at the head slam and leg breaking ughh I heard it and it hurt me. I love it and thanks to the clip I can't wait any longer for the movie. I can't stop watching it and taking it in and not really Rob doesn't really have a crush on Kristen, I mean maybe he was playing around but everyone and probably him, knows that she has a boyfriend. And etphonehome is right as soon as Edward appears in the clip everyone was screaming!

Phew, I have tons more, but I didn't want to put too many on here and have a super long post. Yeah, I am excited too about hearing Bella's Lullaby. Someone asked if anyone knew if a Twilight Soundtrack had been finalized or something to that effect and then Catherine Hardwicke answered that she had gotten Muse to come up with a song for the album and that there was also going to be a very special surprise. She teased and asked us "Do you all know what it is?" and then we all screamed Bella's Lullaby and she confirmed that Rob had done the lullaby. Then another peson asked Rob how he had came up with it and what emotions he was trying to evoke with it and he answered that he had really just come up with it on the spot, while they where shooting the scene. He smiled shyly and said it just started drifiting from the piano and it just came from somewhere in him, he doesn't really know where.
