As for piercings, I've heaps!! Four on each side, a nose stud and my navel!! I want to get my eyebrow pierced actually, but I'm still playing with the idea...

I heard it really isn't *that* painful to get your tongue pierced...is that true? For me personally, I will never get any part of my mouth area (including the tongue) pierced...I'm afraid for some strange reason!! Yeah a bit rich coming from someone who has heaps of piercings elsewhere and two tattoos eh?!

um.. to be honest with you, it wasnt painful, but it felt VERY weird. I spent 15 minutes with an anastetic in my mouth to numb it, so i didnt feel pain, but i could still feel the needle go through!!

Then I spent like 4 days unable to talk (you get a bad speech impediment for like 4 - 7 days) and had to eat like jelly and icecream, and liqueds, as thats about all i could swallow!! But for me it was well worth it in the end!

eek...if you ask me, the idea of feeling a needle going through your tongue is a bit creepy. I don't think i'd ever get any other place of my body pierced other then my ears. A tattoo is cool though. Just as long as you don't get carried away and get one of those full bodied ones, which are a real turn off. We're people, not canvas's!

I play oboe in an orchestra and one week my stand partner came to the rehearsal and she had gotten her tongue pierced. She was moaning about how much it hurt for the entire two hours. I told her that I wouldn't try to play a reed instrument the day I got my tongue pierced, so she left the stage and took a rather lengthy trip to the bathroom.

So anyway, the tattoos and piercings wouldn't work for me at all. I don't even have my ears pierced. Well, if you saw me in person you'd understand more about my aversion to those sorts of things... I'm pretty conservative in my dress, I guess you could say. Lots of jeans and sweaters. And bangs that make me look several years younger than I really am.

Not that anyone really cares what I look like, but what the heck!?

I'd like to mention that the beard has now gone and my face is bum smooth again and i've been growing my hair for the first time so I how have a progressing shaggy mess attached to my head.

I have a love/hate relationship with my hair. It's so black that it looks real nice, but I get bored with it at times. I contemplated coloring my hair (options: red or blue ), but I just can't bear the thought of my hair having another color. Hmm. Crazy, huh?

Well my hair is naturally black too which was just WAY too boring for me. Been wearing it red for quite some time now 'til about recently. Me hair's a chestnut-ish brown now. I am however thinking of going back to black, al naturale y'know...LOL.

My 6th grade Language Arts teacher thought that I looked like Nicole Kidman when I dyed my hair red. I thought that I looked NOTHING like her. But now, people think that I look similar to Emma Watson, but with glasses, a little taller and if her ears were pierced.
