Alright as I was reading some forums there I saw that someone mentioned that there was a ceartain harry potter book that as like there "bible".
I'm not trying to make this religious, please no one take this religious. I'm just curious what book of the HP series book is like a bible to you . hat amkes a book your "bible" is a book that you never get bored reading, a book you know by memory more than the others . a book which was just flat out AWESOME(:

I personally will have to say that the Deathly Hallows & Prisoner of Azkaban are like bibles to me ((((:

what are yours?

I would have to say the "bible" for me would be DH, HBP and OOTP...in that order. But Deathly Hallows is by far my favorite book! wub.gif I can read DH over and over and never get tired of it. I think that's because it's the most different...

wacko.gif This is a hard one for me. I consider all of them equally important...I am working on my dissertation on Harry Potter right now. you should see my copies of the books (my British adults ones. I haven't marked my American or my children's)...they have more post-its in them than I have anywhere else. Everyone and everything has their own color. I think I need the entire set to back my thesis...Having to chose one; however, for this poll, I decided on Deathly Hallows...because it tied everything up so nicely...we found out the truth about Snape, got the resolution we wanted, and finally...found the Christian connection that I knew was there from the get go...I am so thankful for these books. I love them...maybe, in a few years, we will have the dictionary and can count it as the Bible of Harry Potter books...

I would have to say DH. I have probably read it about 9 times and am currently reading it again. The next one would have to be OotP. I have read it about 5 or 6 times. I also hope that JKR comes out with an encyclopedia/dictionary soon. I can't wait to read it. I love HP!

Weirdly enough I made an easy choice. My HP bible would have to be HBP. I have read this book more than the others, its just my favorite,i can read it over and over, and feel the same feelings i did the first time,i never ever get bored with it. I like DH too but i haven't been able to read it more than once and the others are good but HBP is the best to me. Like lets say i were to pick one of them to be buried with(which is a little crazy,i know) i would probably pick HBP. It's an amazing book

i would probably feel the same about HBP but my friend [who i hooked her on HP (: ] is still reading it & im dieing to read it again before the movie comes out :/ but honestly forever my bible will be deathly hallows . & probably would HBP but until i read it again it would have to be POA . & i wouldnt be able to pick which book to bury with me lol i would say stack them all nicely next to me biggrin.gif

Mine is either one or six. They have the best tone, to me. In one, Harry is just learning that the magical world lies out there, and he's a very big part of it. It's exactly how I would react to finding out wizards and witches exsisted, which made the whole book enjoyable for me. JK did a great job of introducing her book without long, boring monolouges.

Six is another favorite of mine. It shows a lot of important rules, experiences and whatnot that apply in real life. Teenage love, friendships, popularity, obsession and death have their roles. You could say that about five as well, but five had a much darker tone. I don't mean Harry was a prancing pony through six (He had some sad, mad, ect. moments) but it wasn't all 'Oh, my life is a spiraling black hole of doom.' The fifth sort of was.

Order of the Phoenix and Goblet of Fire are my bibles as well as my shipping bibles! Those are my two favorite Harry Potter books but I think I like Order of the Phoenix a little bit more than Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix has more shipping moments too! Order of the Phoenix also has my favorite chapter which is Grawp!

I have to say either PoA or OotP are my "bibles."

I love PoA because Snape has a semi-big part, taking care of Lupin and he becomes a deeper character, and as a reader I personally thought you learned more of his peronality through the book. (I'm a HUGE Snape fan) At the end of the book, when Lupin transforms into a warewolf and comes after the Trio, I abseloutely melt when Snape jumps in front of them to protect them. tongue.gif

For OotP, I'm just addicted to that book. I abseloutely despise Umbridge, and Dumbledore's Army rebelling back, the Weasley's taking off, the battle at the Ministry. I love Bellatrix and Sirius (Mostly loving Bella because of her character, and I love Helena Bohiema Carter), so the dramatic scene when Sirius dies tears me apart, and I cannot help tearing up.

Deathly Hallows is definitely like a bible to me, because every chapter held a different type of story, a different feeling. It teaches you so many lessons about life in general. But that's just me.
