Please read the rules for entering the contest prior to submitting an entry. Any entry that does nto follow all of the rules will be disqualified.
- Entries must follow all of the regular fanfiction submission rules.
- Entries must include a disclaimer. (Ex. of a disclaimer: "Harry Potter is the creation of JKR and is owned by JKR and Warner Brothers. I have received no monetary gain from writing this fic.)
- Entries must be at least 1000 words.
- Entries must include a poll in order for people to vote. Please see below to see how to set up the poll.
- You may not PM or write seperate posts to try to get votes for your fic. You may put a note in your signature and use your feedback thread in order to encourage people to vote for your fic.
- Please create a feedback thread.
- Do not create original characters for your entry unless the entry theme states that you may.
- Entries should be canon through DH unless otherwise stated in the entry theme. (Entry themes may occasionally call for you to write non-canon and/or canon only up through a certain book.)
- Entries must adhere to the PG-13 guidelines with no mature themes.
- Entries must be posted in the "One-Shot" fanfiction subforum.
How to Open Your Poll
1. Create your topic by clicking "New Topic".
2. Click the red link above the text box that says "Click here to manage this topic's poll".
3. Create the Poll Title of "One-Shot Contest"
4. Click "Add Poll Question".
5. Create the Poll Question of "Vote for my One-Shot".
6. Click "Add Poll Choice.
7. Create poll choice of "Vote".
*Do not click "Close Poll Form"!! It will erase the content and not create the poll!*
8. When you are finished with typing or copying your entry into the text box, click "Post New Topic".
