First of all, I would like to send my congratulations to ihnky for being Hermione-ette of the month of August. I think you really deserved it. You can send nominations for September to Sadie or me anytime this month.

When did everyone become animals? Pengiuns, foxes, chipmunks, polar bears, dragons,turtles... I think I'll be an owl- snowy, like Hedwig. *Magiacally turns self into an owl, then flies around watching the other animals* Don't worry little hopping chipmunk, I won't eat you (or anyone else)

-If Hermione were to have brothers or sisters would she be a good older sister? Or do you see her as the younger sibling that's smart and annoys the older ones?

I think that Hermione would be the bossy older sister who teaches and dominates the younger siblings. I think that she would still love her sibs and be a good sister, but she would be a bit annoying. I can also see her being shunned by an older sibling, though. Just because she can be dominant with her friends, I think it would be fitting if she wasn't as much in control at hoome. To be honest, I can see her either way!

-If you were Hermione what kind of music do you like? Or if you rather see from outside the window in, what kind of music do you think Hermione listens to by looking at her?

I can see Hermione listening to quiet classical music. That's what I would listen to if I were Hermione as well. unsure.gif

What other hobbies ,asides from the academics, do you think Hermione does? [I mean she's smart but she's still a kid]

I think Hermione would do something artsy, like painting. I can see her sitting outside drawing the scenery around her. Or writing and illustrating a book. She could write the story, then draw the pictures to go with it. Other than that, I can see her reading and reading for hours., but she already does that!

-If Hermione were to have a twin that's a complete opposite of her describe how she would be. [Please be creative. Don't say that she'll be dumb and etc. etc.]

I think that if Hermione had an opposite twin, that twin would be sporty and athletic. Not being totally dumb, but not caring as much about school work; a female jock. Also, I think that twin would have a huge group of friends, not like Hermione's few. The twin would be on every sports team imaginable, and not be magic wink.gif

What do you think Hermione's favorite board game is?

I think that Hermione's favorite board game would be Scrabble. Thinking up all those strange words, and fitting them in in good places.Clue is another good one, with her brillaint logic and reasoning.

Did Hermione ever say what her favorite color is?

She didn't say, but I can picture it being either a soft lilac color, of a bold gass green. Those are pretty much the colors that I think of when I think of Hermione smile.gif

*Snowy owl flies to the Arctic where her friends the fox and the polar bear live, then stares in awe at the dragon flying over. Strangley, a chipmunk and turtle are playing in the snowbanks, and a penguin is on the wrong side of the world. The owl laughs, then hides as a giant fireball shoots by. The fireball from the dragon make a hot tub out of the ocean What a crazy animal party, thinks the owl*

Hi everybody! Do you mind if I join your Unofficial Hermione Fan Club? I hope not! biggrin.gif

If you were Hermione what kind of music do you like? Or if you rather see from outside the window in, what kind of music do you think Hermione listens to by looking at her?

I definately see her listening to classical music. Just listening to the music in the background as she read a book or wrote a letter or did homework. I really can't picture her jamming out listening to Rock 'n' Roll.

What do you think Hermione's favorite board game is?

She'd probably like games that involve a lot of thinking. Maybe Risk, or a Trivia Game. She'd be good at Clue.....oh! I see that's been mentioned. I wonder if she'd like Scrabble? She might. And if she did, she'd probably dominate! happy.gif

What other hobbies asides from the academics and what not do you think Hermione does? [I mean she's smart but she's still a kid (: ]

Haha, I don't know why, but I can see her playing basketball. laugh.gif I have no idea why, it just fits. I really can't think of an instrument she could play. It would be something different for sure. Maybe a Bassoon. Perhaps she paints or something....... I don't know.

If Hermione were to have a twin that's a complete opposite of her describe how she would be. [Please be creative. Don't say that she'll be dumb and etc. etc.]

Ok, let me think. Well, she'd be very beautiful and fashionable. Always matching and fussing over her appearance. She'd have brown wavy hair, almost black. Her eyes would be hazel. She'd be really smart too, but not really concerned about her grades. She'd be very popular and everyone would want to be her friend. She'd have lots of friends too and would try to act older than she really was. She'd get along with Hermione well, but she'd have a completely different personality. And when she was with Hermione, she'd act more herself. Maybe she'd have a name like.............Samantha or something. happy.gif

Ooh ihkny that avatar looks very nice.. You did a great job both of you biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

What do you think Hermione's favorite board game is?

Something that requiers a bit of thinking. Maybe Scrabble or something like that! And she probably likes monopoly too, I mean who doesn't!!

God, I'm extremely tired now..
bookworm_1918
Congratulations, ihkny, our first Hermione-ette of...well...ever!!! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif Great job! And great job to-- was it DeSs and ihkny?-- for the pictures they made for our Hermione-ette.

Just one quesiton: Are we restarting that Trivia Game?? What's up with that??? Droobles, can we start that again?

What do you think Hermione's favorite board game is?
Oh, I think Scrabble!! LOL most definitely. She would love a mind game likke that.
sadie_urlady523
Well isn't anyone gonna welcome our newest member? Hi, Nasuada! Did you get that name from the book Eragon, or is it your own? Anyway, if you need anything, feel free to contact me (Sadie or according to some, Your Sadieness mellow.gif laugh.gif ), nicky potter, or bookworm_1918. If you need a siggy or avvie, Dess is your lady.

Anyway,

What do you think Hermione's favorite board game was?

Definately Clue or Scrabble. Something to challenge her brain. Or Chutes and Ladders! laugh.gif Just kidding.

What do you think Hermione's favorite color was

I always see her in blue. She's just that kind of girl to me, I guess...

Again, welcome Nasuada!

Sadie
Nasuada
Thank you for your very warm welcome, Sadie! Yes, I was into Eragon at the time I registered and chose that name. I'm not really into Eragon anymore. Yes, I've already gotten tons of avi and siggy help from Dess darling. biggrin.gif Thanks! (You may call me, Chelsea or Chels by the way.)

Chelsea♥
LeoTheLionness1986
BRoyals!!! Please don't be a snowy owl like Hedwig!! Because Hedwig dies!! sad.gif If I had to chose an animals for you I would say your an eagle! *Magically transforms the snowy owl BRoyals into a majestic eagle!*
sadie_urlady523
Well, again, welcome Chels! Oh, and I forgot to mention something. Every month we have a Hermione-ette of the Month thing. I don't know if you've seen stuff like that in W.A.W. and S.O.S.S., but we do that here too. The only thing different is that you can nominate members of the club to become the Hermione-ette of the Month. Then when I announce the top few nominees, we have a vote on who should be "it" for the month. (Votes and nominations are sent to me and/or BRoyals-Kel- via PM). You can nominate anyone at any time of the month. Sound good?

Another thing: For some reason a lot of us change into "animals" when we enter the thread. laugh.gif Don't freak when you see a dragon breathing fire, a polar bear scaring the little chimpmunk, or a fox sneaking around, among many other things. Again, I don't know why this happens, but it amuses us... huh.gif

Happy Hermy-posting!

New members any questions asks Sadie the founder or Maddie [bookworm] or myself Nicky [nicky potter]; Need and avvie or siggy for this club? DeSs is the lady to go to (:

Other than that happy posting magic.gif
bookworm_1918
Nasuada!! I'm so sorry I remember reading that you were a new member but it didn't register in my brain. So WELCOME!! LOL Sadie thanks for remindeing me...you know I sometimes need it!!! Well, I guess this is Nicker's place anyways. She's our Official Welcomer, by the way. LOL

And also, I haven't chosen to be an animal, so I just do normal people actions. biggrin.gif Anyways, for the questions!!

What do you think Hermione's favorite color was

Like I've said, I'd say lilac. Hermione seems like a lilac color, sorry DeSsie!!! Blue would fit her too, but I found it a little too bold for her.
ihkny
Oi ! Welcome to the Magical Menagerie... Erm, I mean the Unofficial Hermione Fan Club, Nasuada ! Yes, don't mind the multitude of miscellaneous critters running amuck.

What do you think Hermione's favorite board game was?

I have to say Hermione's favourite (board) game would have to be iSpy. Yep. Simple as that ! Or Dominoes. Clue and Scrabble are good choices, too. laugh.gif And of course, who can forget Dungeons and Dragons.

Once again, thank you all for the congrats and for voting me as the Hermione-ette for the month of August.

The Unofficial Hermione Fan Club:

Bookworm_1918 asked if the Hermione Trivia Game was ever going to be restarted and the answer to that question is no. lac.gif The powers that be decided it would be best for this thread to continue as it was meant to be - a discussion thread. So... it was a pretty big bummer, but we'll make due !

*Transforms into a tiny black jaguar and stretches out in the middle of the floor with a giant yawn to sleep* *turns on the purr-motor*

What do you think Hermione's favorite color was?

Hmm... I'm going to have to say green. Not that she's necessarily "eco-friendly" or anything, but to me green seems like a more unusual choice (and she is certainly far from usual). To me green is kind, thoughtful, and energetic. But then maybe I'm just reading too much into a color.
*laughs at self* tongue.gif
bookworm_1918
Shoot!! No trivia game. Well, it was a great idea, ihkny, anyways!!!

I think we're in need of a new question...I can't remember if it's been asked before,but--

What do you think Hermione's favorite Muggle school subject is?
BRoyals
*Snowy owl gives strangled hoot as she is turned into an eagle. Turns to see Leo smiling in the corner*
Maybe an eagle is better... Well I guess I'm stuck with it now. *ruffles eagle feathers and perches in a tree, watching a hopping chipmunk curiously*

Welcome to the zoo Chelsea! I hope you enjoy talking about random Hermione things and crazy animals. laugh.gif Like Sadie already mentioned, Hermione-ette of the month is determined by nominations sent in by PM to Sadie or me. Then we do a final vote the same way.

Too bad about the trivia game, but it was a little confusing. At least we asked!

What do you think Hermione's favorite Muggle school subject is?

This is a hard one, as Hermone would probably be great at all of them. I'll go with Math because it is sort of like Arithmancy which was her favorite magical lesson.

*eagle flies away to school, and gets teacher wondering why she's a different animal today*

-Kel happy.gif
Eisa
What do you think Hermione's favorite Muggle school subject is?

Okay, I'm just gonna go with my favorite Muggle subject...laugh.gif Which is English. I think Hermione would be great in that class. I bet she would correct everyone's papers around her and tick all her classmates off. biggrin.gif Or maybe that's just what I do LOL.

Or maybe it would be something like Psychology, because I think Hermione could have a really fun time figuring out how people's minds work!

*nods little feathery head in satisfaction, waddles closer to jaguar, pokes her with flipper*
ihkny
*Paws at the flipper playfully*

What do you think Hermione's favorite Muggle school subject is?

While Hermione's favourite subject is Arithmancy, I can't see it being just "math", but more like a math oriented subject. So, I would have to say Physics would be a Hermione-muggle favourite, personally. I hated the class (with a pa-pa-pa-paassion !) It's applying the numbers to science and real life and it's a bit more trying than just... pre-cal, algebra, trig and geometry. I haven't taken Calculus so I couldn't say what all goes on in there.

QUOTE

It is too bad, but I actually had the whole thing planned out to be as simple and non-confusing as possible, and I think you were one of the ones that got to see the guidelines for it ! happy.gif

** Lupin<3tonks and I are watching Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire ! Yay ! I so very much loathe the part where the Beauxbatons girls come in with those stupid butterflies and the sighing. And lucky for me, my sister felt the need to sigh along with them to emphasis it more *to irritate me !*. I prefer the Durmstrang entrance because the music is more 'fierce' and exciting.

*rolls over to face away from the curious penguin and thawps the flightless bird with her tail.*

Norberta
*tries to do something cute like flapping her wings, but it all goes terribly wrong and everyone flies 200 meters away from the dragon* oops, sorry sad.gif sad.gif

What do you think Hermione's favorite Muggle school subject is?

Probably math or physics or chemistry. She is pretty good in potions too so I think she would like the potion side of chemistry!

Oh and ihkny, I'm really not that fond of physics right now. I have a test in physics this thursday and I'm pretty freaked out about it, because I can't understand the subject. We have this tasks that we have to do and I didn't get half of them *sighs loudly*

And sorry Nasuada for not welcomming you.. I was a bit tired yesterday and I didn't really registrate what was going on around me.. BUT WELCOME NASUADA!
DeSs
Welcome dear Chelsea!!! I hope you'll enjoy our lovely club for our lovely Hermione! happy.gif You've learnt all you need I reckon, from our warm welcomers fellows, so I have not much to say but ... happy wormbook posting!

woot.gif Are we changing into animals now?! Wow, I had no idea, I want, please, please! *jumps up and down in the chair. comes a gust of misterious wind, messes my hair and makes me shiver and ... voila, I'm a kneazle. Isn't anybody else a kneazle, right? I wouldn't mind being another animal*

Ok, What do you think Hermione's favorite Muggle school subject is?

Yeah, maybe Maths, Science and Chemistry, or writive subjects. I hate Maths too! But I like Chemistry and Science, and Literature sometimes. I definitely love translation, but we don't have a subject, except languages, which are dumb at school. dry.gif

Bahaha! Yeah, it's so annoying that entrance that I feel embarrassed laugh.gif And Durmstrang, yes, it's fierce! And Krum walking like ... *serious troll mimic*

I was watching PoA last Saturday in the Warner, it's so great that movie! And the sweet parts wub.gif Then I went ot sleep 'cause it was late and endless!
Nasuada
Haha, thank you again, all of you for your welcomes! happy.gif I feel right at home! Now, with the Hermione-ette of the month thing, what is the type of person you are looking for to be 'nominated' as the Hermione-ette? What exactly are you looking for in the person nominated? I'm sorry, but I don't fully understand. Just slap me across the face and I'll stop rambling! shutup.gif

What do you think Hermione's favorite Muggle school subject is?

Probably something really complex like, well like everyone has said, math or chemistry or physics. wacko.gif I hate all of those subjects! They all hurt my brain terribly. I hope Hermione can handle them.

Chelsea♥
Eisa
*squawks indignantly and glares at the sleeping ihkny* Hey! *sniffles and rubs eyes with flippers*

If Hermione could do well in Math or Physics or even *gasp* Chemistry ( blink.gif ), I'd be uber proud of her. And in which case, I want some of her intelligence because I suck at anything related to those fields!

What do you think Hermione's worst Muggle school subject would be then?
ihkny
Nasuada ~ for the Hermione-ette of the Month award we nominate a person (via PM to BRoyals or Sadie_urlady523 *er I think those are the right numbers... I get them mixed up alot hence why I don't use numbers in my usernames ever*) that we believe to be an outstanding contributor and/or all around awesome member of the club !

*rolls onto her tummy and stares curiously at the sniffling penguin before scooching across the floor to get a closer look* *paws playfully at the fluffy avian and curls her tail into a question mark*

DeSs I think you're the first kneazle in our midsts ! *rubs the kneazles extra furry ears* I haven't watched PoA in a while.

eeek.gif Norberta blew as away with her awesome dragonness powers ! Oh noes ! Physics is a horrid subject, and I feel your pain, I really do. My physics teacher taught us a whole textbook in 5 months - which means like 2 chapters per slow week and 4 per rushed week ! Ugh. Needless to say I grasped very little... (Mostly because I gave up after the first few weeks after realizing I wasn't going to get it.. so I slept through the rest of it ! shocking.gif and I am being totally serious haha !)

What do you think Hermione's worst Muggle school subject would be then?

Isn't it obvious *lol!* Physical Education ! Man, I hated P.E. (I didn't take it all through high school infact :x Not that I don't enjoy exercising). If Hermione went to school here in America, especially where I went to school, she would most likely hate every subject she was given *Actually she would've skipped all of high school and gone straight to college...* because the teachers were ... underqualified for their teaching positions. My Marine Biology teacher was a football coach *class was a piece of cake ! This guy told us anyone that skipped his class too much would fail and do horrible on the end exam, well, uh, I skipped tons and I made a 100 on the final. I don't need to go to class to regurgitate notes and to study for a 100 species matching test. Plus, I bribed him with homemade brownie shark and cookie shark cut outs. *edible!* Er... anyway... yeah Hermione wouldn't have liked my school (except for that Physics class I mentioned).

~ihkny
bookworm_1918
Oh no!! I can't help wanting to be an animal!! You guys, you got me!! happy.gif *pauses a moment and then turns into...a jaguar!* Haha isn't that good? It's my Patronus. I know, not very imaginative. *Jaguar stalks around the room finally settling in a corner, staring at the odd assortment of other animals*

Nasuada, the Hermione-ette of the month is somebody who posts often, posts good answers, and comes up with good ideas/questions. That's basically it, right you guys?

What do you think Hermione's favorite Muggle school subject is?

I'm going to say MAth. MAth sounds a whole lot like Arithmancy, and all those equations and all that would just be wonderful to Hermione. I bet she'd memorize the first 100 numbers of pi, knowing her tongue.gif.

What do you think Hermione's worst Muggle school subject would be then?
Physical Education. I hate Phy Ed, and I stink at it. Hermione does not like Quidditch and doesn't get sports, so I think she'd absoulety hate that.
Eisa
*giggles and bats at ihkny's fluffy tail with a flipper* happy.gif

*beakflipper* I forgot...okay, how about the school subject in high school that she was worst at at a school that does not have Physical Education? laugh.gif I was thinking high school for some reason, and I didn't have P.E. in high school!

Otherwise, yup, I bet that would be her worst subject. That was mine, too, back in junior high. Not very good at P.E. at ALL.
sadie_urlady523
Hey, Maddie, ihkny is our jaguar. Sorry! Tee hee on you! (Sorry if no one gets this little rivalry between us. We're kinda neighbors and not to mention partners in crime.) I think you should be... Something bossy. *starts laughing hysterically* Sorry. Just kidding. I think you should be a cat. Or a bunny! You seem like a cute 'ittle bunny...

What do you think Hermione's favorite Muggle school subject is?

Math. No question about it. Maybe English, because she is so good at essays... Hmmm... I'll think that one over.

LeoTheLionness1986
As everyone must already know I am a Lionness! *lays in a sunny patch of grass and flicks tip of tail and waits for someone to visit me*

What do you think Hermione's favorite Muggle school subject is?

Well she didn't do so well in Potions so science is a big no! But honestly I think Hermione's favorite muggle subject would either be a really hard math or history!

To bad about the Hermione Trivia Game....that would have been cool, but I already know I would have LOST! LOL! I am not good at trivia games of any sort. biggrin.gif

♥ We need a list made up of memebers and there animals! LOL! So next memeber list that is made up put thier animal next to thier name! ♥
bookworm_1918
That's right. Darn. I'm getting mixed up what with everybody changing animals and such and such. I'll be a rat instead. MUAHAA. In those Chinese symbols, I'm the year of the rat and rats are small....which means that they can get close to dragons...LOL

I'm thinking up some great Hermione questions to get us going again
rabid_fox
AH HA HA HA HA HAAA! I have everyone turning into animals! *Smiiiirrrrkkk* Ah, the question about Hermione`s fave board game has already been pretty much answered. I would have said the kind of games that uses intellect rather than action (because, you know, there`s so much action in board games XD ). Something like Scrabble, because Hermione knows so many big words and such. Okay, for the other questions!

What do you think Hermione's favorite Muggle school subject is?
Literature, History, Math, Science, Chemistry, Calculus, Biology...Everything except PE, because Hermione is a very hardworking studious, er, student. She loves to learn, and wouldn`t want to leave any subjects out. If you all remember, she took EVERY subject in PoA before dropping the only one that didn`t require studying or facts - Divination.

What do you think Hermione's worst Muggle school subject would be then?
Yessss, I`ve already said it, and so have others - PE! Though, she is quite agile when she needs to be! So I guess she doesn`t need it anyway!

*Sniffs and trails after the rat*

LeoTheLionness1986
*stops the white fox dead in its tracks afraid it might do something to the poor helpless rat* LOL!

As far as a worst subject goes I will pretty much have to agree with everyone on P.E.!
lupin<3tonks
*decides that there is no need for the sporadic dance to confound all the other animals so they dont eat her. Instead perks up on back feet and sniffs the air curiously...smells something "funny". Eyes all the animals and stops at the jaguar playing with the penguin...concludes thats where the foul smell is coming from! Stinky jaguar!*

Welcomes all the new creatures!

What do you think Hermione's favorite Muggle school subject is?

I don't know why but I would think her favorite subject would be English. I agree with that Sadieurlady523.I could see her enjoying all the creative writing assignments and all the different books one might have to read in the class and doing essays and book reviews!

What do you think Hermione's worst Muggle school subject would be then?

I'd have to say a subject like political science or you know a subject that really is opinion based and not fact-based? Something that she wouldn't be able to wrap her mind around as easily as chemistry or history. Maybe philosophy? I don't know! I'm probably way off base on that one.

Hermione's favorite game?

If she's anything like me, she would love love love Scattergories! Its a game where you have different categories, and a dice with the alphabet on all different sides. You roll the dice, and whatever letter it lands on you have to think of words that relate back to the specific category using that letter. SO for example the letter is B and the categories are Fruit, Boy's name, school subject and animal.

Fruit: banana
Boy's Name: Bob
School Subject: Biology
Animal: Bat

But I would think Hermione would enjoy Battle of the Sexes. Any game that challenges men with women questions I could see Hermione totally enjoying! Also I 'm sure she could answer all the male questions because she knows everything!

I'd like to share a funny conversation that happened between the jaguar and the chipmunk today:

Chipmunk: Hey I was reading POA and when the boggart came near Lupin it was a bright silvery orb!! What could that be? What do you think it means? I'm thinking about asking it on Veritaserum.

Jaguar: Uh....Tonya its a moon! Duh!

Chipmunk: Oh...that makes sense!! Now I feel stupid...I'm glad I didn't ask that on the threads!!
ihkny
*crouches low to the floor and eyes the chipmunk predatorily* *begins to stalk her prey* I'll show you stinky, rodent.

What do you think Hermione's worst Muggle school subject would be then?

I could see Philosophy not being one of Hermione's strong subjects. laugh.gif How about that Experimental Psychology class you're taking ? Lol !

I did not say Duh and there were no exclamation points in my response. It was a rather dull monotonous "Are you for serious asking me that?" I mean, this isn't even a one time deal. I get at least two of these a day (perhaps not always about Harry Potter, but some of them ARE.) I don't know when it was, sometime in the last month, she said "Remus is Prongs right ?" I was like... "What are the Marauders' names ?" So she answers and I ask " What does Remus turn in to each month?"... "A werewolf.... OH !" It's mind boggling ! I love it so much - I laugh so hard. Of course, I have my own issues with Harry Potter stuff. The other night I could not say "The Severely Obsessed Severus Snape" site, because I was on it and told the Chipmunk to check it out... I had to get her a drink for my disgusting display of ineloquence.

We need a new Hermione question !

~ihkny
bookworm_1918
*rat stands up* A FOX?! * runs quickly over and stands behind the Lionness* Don't let it eat me, Lioness!!

One Hermione question coming up, ihkny!!

Do you think Grawp took a liking to 'Hermy' just because she was a girl?
ihkny
*eyes the rat indolently, tail flicking back and forth behind the back of the couch she has perched upon*

Do you think Grawp took a liking to 'Hermy' just because she was a girl?

Yay ! A new question. I think, personally, he took a liking to her because of her hair. laugh.gif Or she smelled good. He must like the smell of books and ink and parchment !

What do you think Hermione played with as a child ?

~ihkny
BRoyals
*flies to the Hermione animal fans. Perches on lion's head and eyes the rat curiously*

Do you think Grawp took a liking to 'Hermy' just because she was a girl?

I think that is a good answer. Grawp was probably fascinated with her because she was 'different' than Hagrid (and Harry). Maybe it was her hair, like ihnky said. laugh.gif

What do you think Hermione played with as a child ?

Books! No, really. She probably read books at a very young age and obviously was fascinated. Other than books, perhaps she played with dolls, but I can't picture that as well as I can for the books. Can't you see it? A baby Hermione staring in awe at the pictures and words in an enormous book...

What do you think Hermione's worst Muggle school subject would be then?

Oh, we all know it. It's most probable, certain, definitely, positivley P.E. Just because she is more studious than athletic. She can be agile and fit, but gym probably isn't her very best.

-Kel happy.gif

Hey

I was wondering if I might be able to join this club, seeing as I am a passionate Hermione fan. If not just let me know. unsure.gif

I hope you guys don't mind me answering some of the asked questions.

Do you think Grawp took a liking to 'Hermy' just because she was a girl?
I think that maybe it had something to do with her scent as a girl and her perfume if she wore stuff like that, I think she did wear some kind of perfume. Aome animals are very attracted to some form of scents.

What do you think Hermione played with as a child ?
She is a muggle born so maybe some kind of learning games on the computer or as a boardgame.

What do you think Hermione's favorite Muggle school subject is?
Personally I think it had to be something practical, like calculus or accounting or even chemistry.

Dewet_pdw88, of course you can join and welcome to The Unoffical Hermions Fan Club! I am so glad to see that you yourself has decided to be weird with us and become an animal. The whole animal thing just sort of started and now we have alittle jungle going on. LOL!

*Reassures the rat that no one will hurt it and send it on its way! Asks the eagle to get off head and creates a small but secure tree for the eagle and all birds to go.*

Now for the questions:

Do you think Grawp took a liking to 'Hermy' just because she was a girl?

No I don't think Grawp liked Hermy just because she is a girl. She actually talked to him and corrected him when he was doing wrong.

What do you think Hermione played with as a child ?

Well she sure didn't play with Barbie's! Um to be honest I don't really see her playing with much of anything. I see her reading in her spare time! Which is what she did at Hogwarts anyways. LOL!

Yiiik, I'm a kneazle with furry ears!! happy.gif *purrs and approaches to the fireplace* Nicky, update that list with the animals! It'd be funny!

What do you think Hermione's worst Muggle school subject would be then?
I agree in PE!! I hate hate hate that! I'm so bad at sports. I have no problems with individual sports, like swimming, athletics, aerobics, but I can0t play any team sport!! It's my lack of self-confidence sad.gif I think I will ruin everything, so I never shout or ask for the ball or run or anything, I'm really awful.
And then boring and pointless things like Geography or History, who cares about them? I mean, it's interesting to know about the world and the location of places, but I really get bored when they start with economy dry.gif

Scattergories? We call it Tutti-Frutti! I love it too, my sister was bugging me to play with her just last weekend, so I did and beat her, yay laugh.gif And then she got angry, bad loser, but why on earth she ask me? Yes, I think Hermione would love that game. And the Battle of Sexes, it's so chauvinist, don't you think? We played it with some friends, and their questions were so stupid that they beat us!! It's so unfair sad.gif But I can see Hermione and Ginny against Harry and Ron, can you imagine it? laugh.gif And Ron pipping up every second rolleyes.gif

What do you think Hermione played with as a child ?

Yes, I agree she should have read since a very young age. (Hey, it's not nerd, I read since I very young age eeek.gif) And ... I don't reckon she could had have many friends, but perhaps she'd cousins, and so played with them. By how she reacts to the 'everybody acting like children' at the Hogwarts Express, in first year, I take that she never was the playful kind. Maybe even less playful than me. I played alone, sometimes, till my sister came. Maybe she did. It's boring, but if you have imagination. Anyway, I can't picture Hermione playing doctor, or teacher, I don't know ...

Do you think Grawp took a liking to 'Hermy' just because she was a girl?

Oh, yes, I suppose he hadn't seen many giantess --female giants-- where he lived, and we girls are attractive, aren't we? (Chels, don't make a fool of me tongue.gif ) *scratches ear absent-mindly*

*stares worriedly at kneazle* *fluffs feathers out in defense* Can a penguin go to the tree where the birds are even though the penguin can't technically fly? *giggles*

What do you think Hermione played with as a child?

Yup, I think she read books all the time (like me blush.gif). I bet that she could read when she was really young and just lost herself in a lot of books. Although I don't know if she necessarily read fantasy books or anything...maybe what she preferred to read was stuff like textbook manuals and more "realistic" books. She doesn't seem like she was the kind of child who preferred to use her imagination a lot, for some reason. unsure.gif

Ooooh, and maybe she had a Rubik's Cube! tongue.gif I bet she would have been great at all those brain and logic puzzles.

Hey, one question...can you be Hermionette twice??? I mean, could ihkny win again this month??? Just wondering about that...

What do you think Hermione played with as a child?
Yes, I think she read books. A LOT!!! laugh.gif But I also like the idea of her playing some computer learning games...Sadly, she was an only child with nobody to play dolls with or whatever (though I can't imagine her doing that anyways)

What do you think Hermione's worst Muggle school subject would be then?

I agree with everyone else that she would be worst in PE. She really isn't the athletic type. No offence to her. I can see her jinxing a ball to go the other way in sports if she had to play. laugh.gif

What do you think Hermione played with as a child ?

Yeah, she probably enjoyed reading at a very young age. She seems the type. Can't imagine why.

Oh that's a good one, Eisa. I could see her trying to figure it out and eventually figuring it out too.

Well, yes and no. I think he liked her because she was a girl, but maybe he could sense that she was an understanding person when it came to different creatures. I know house elves are really different, but still.

Dess, I'm so glad somebody knows this game, or at least some version of it! I absolutely love Scattergories! Its interesting to see other peoples' answers! I think Hermione would have loved it too! I agree with you about Battle of the Sexes being easier for the guys! They always beat the girls whenever we played it, but like I mentioned in my post, I bet Hermione would have been able to answer all the guy questions because she's so smart! She's Hermione, she knows everything!!

Yes, I tend to look into things deeper than what they really are. For some reason, I make things more difficult than what they seem, so I'm thinking "silvery-white orb" and I'm imagining, exactly what Lavender Brown is, some type of white silverish ball floating in the air, not a moon!! But of course, its so obvious! Duh!! I'm really not a dumb girl, I just tend to be ditzy on a daily bases, like ikhny says.

I can't even express it well enough because my brain is just refusing to function. I really don't understand it at all. I never used to get this tired from school - ever - at least not to the point of just wanting to pass out whenever I get home. I just finished a subjective description paragraph for English Comp. I about a Ninja frozen in action. ph34r.gif Not even finished yet either - I have to go pretend I did edits to my "rough draft". I don't do rough drafts - either it's how I want it the first time or I don't do it, stupid perfectionism. So, yeah, I am irritated a bit.

As for getting Lupin<3tonks back about the stinky comment, I really didn't even mean to do it - not that I felt bad about it or anything.. well I did... but it was still funny as mess, so it's hard to say sorry if you're laughing about it even !

I think Hermione would have liked Scattergories, and I think she would have kicked butt at Battle of the Sexes, Ron and Harry wouldn't know squat about girls... I mean we've all seen that they can be a "babbling, bumbling band of baboons". I bet Hermione would've been the champ at Concentration - the card game where you place them all face down and pick them up in pairs by memorizing where the corresponding suit card is...

What do you think Hermione played with as a child ?

I don't count reading as playing - lol. I think she would have liked coloring (especially the match color by number games or whatever) Perhaps she liked to do mazes and word searches. I really liked the Rubik's Cube idea, though ! Very Hermione-ish item to me. Maybe she would have played Jacks... lol, who knows.

What do you think Hermione played with as a child ?
I can see her having the time of her life with children`s books, especially of the learning sort like learning colors and numbers and shapes and so on. I can picture her parents always having to read to her. I can also picture her watching Disney movies, like Snow White and The Little Mermaid, and have like the corresponding dolls. If she did play with dolls or stuffed animals, she probably played school with them, teaching them back the things she had recently learned...actually, I did that, heh heh. *Blushes through fur* My stuffed animals were the smartest on the block thanks to me!

*Keeps her black beady eyes on the rat, that took to hiding behind the lioness, and listens to the lion`s reassurances to it that it is safe and watches it get sent on its way*

Do you think Grawp took a liking to 'Hermy' just because she was a girl?
Wait for it...! Grawp took a liking to Hermy because he thought she was pretty! XD I wanted to put in a different answer! Heh heh, I smell another odd ship in the works! You don`t see it in the books, but in the films look at his reaction when he spots her! Just look at it! Lol, he`s like 'rawr!' *Chase!!* *GRAB!!!* "MINE!!!!" Ron was jealous for a REASON!

I`ve a question, relating to the Grawp one, kinda.

Why do you think Fenrir Greyback wanted Hermione after Bellatrix was done torturing her?

*the Monkey jumps through the window and wonders who wil befriend him hopefully that gorgeuos lioness*

Why do you think Fenrir Greyback wanted Hermione after Bellatrix was done torturing her?
I think that he was just hungry for meat, and seeing as Hermione would be nearly dead he thought that he could just as well finish her. And I also think that he wanted to see how angry he could make Ron and Harry. To try and make them do something very stupid.

What do you think Hermione's worst Muggle school subject would be then?

Gym or P.E. or whatever it is called. I don't like that class either. I has it today, and we had to run 60 meter, do the long jump and play soccer. I'm pretty good at sports when it is just the girls in my class that play, when there are mixed teams it tends to get a bit violent and I don't really like that... Ugh Next time we have orientation(! sad.gif !) I just want to hide behind a rock or something!

Do you think Grawp took a liking to 'Hermy' just because she was a girl?

Or maybe he thought her hair was eatable.. I mean sometimes it might look a bit like moss...

What do you think Hermione played with as a child ?

I like the rubiks cube idea! All of my friends know how to solve one, they're even comparing times. The goal is to get under 1 minute. As for me, I've only managed to solve one side of the cube, and I was pretty proud of myself, but now I want to learn how to solve all of the sides. Luckily one of my friends is going to teach me biggrin.gif
Anyway to get back to the question.. I've always thought of Hermione to be a reader, even in her early days...

Why do you think Fenrir Greyback wanted Hermione after Bellatrix was done torturing her?

Maybe he thought she was hot? No, it probably has something to do with the whole Fenrir wants to turn them into werewolfes early. Like he did to Lupin, so Hermione is young and probably his age group!

Oh, and I have a new question! It might seem a bit stupid but we have to have something to talk about!

One of the main ideas behind the Hermione and Tom Riddle jr. ship is that the two of them have a lot in common. They both get good grades, they're both raised as muggles, they both have a need to boss over someone...(There are probably more reasons..) So do you think under other circumstances that Hermione could have been some sort of Voldemort?? Could you name any of these circumstances?

Intrigiung, Norberta! I think that Hermione could have easily been another Dark wizard- if she had gone to the wrong side. For instance, if she had had an urge to be 'evil' and want power, she would have been sort of a female Voldemort. But Hermione is a 'good' person, so I don't think that that would happen.

That made me think of a question- Is Hermione a good character? By that I mean, is she a good person? She did have faults and quirks, like we all do, but would those that she have make it enough to turn Hermione a 'bad' person if the opportunity presented itself?

I can't really imagine the circumstances under which Hermione would become like that. They have a lot in common, maybe, but they also have a LOT different. Hermione cares about other species and always kind of looks out for the "underdog," like when she helps Neville with his homework and when she starts S.P.E.W. That's a really big difference between her and Riddle because I don't think he ever would have done that. He didn't care about other people except how they could further their own ends. Hermione cares a lot about other people, even if she can get rather bossy. blush.gif I think it's more so that she helps them than her wanting to lord it over them!

Hahaha, oh what a wonderfully creative answer! Of course, he's not very intelligent, so that's probably his line of thinking.

What do you think Hermione played with as a child ?

Whatever she did play with (certainly books or puzzles) she probably iwith played by herself ( no offense, of course, I do love her). Or perhaps she bossed around younger children. I imagine it was difficult for her to find friends. She certainly became more toned down with age and being friends with Harry and Ron helped her to develop the amazing personality that she grew into to.

Why do you think Fenrir Greyback wanted Hermione after Bellatrix was done torturing her?

I'll answer this question from a more literary standpoint than from Greyback's actually reasoning (after all, he's just a murdering psycho, he never needs a motive), but it might have something to do with how intelligent she is. If she were to be turned into a werewolf, it would be all the more tragic because of how clever, pulled-together and efficient she is. It would put a serious strain on her life and limit her potential. It reminds me of Lupin. He's clearly a smart guy (he's easily the best DADA teacher they ever had), but his condition makes his daily life such a struggle. He can't hold down a job and must always worry about hurting other people when he is a wolf. Hermione herself is such a caring, nurturing person that to become a vicious creature would be ironic and cruel.
