I really like the new chapter. It was very sad though

But that's the way a funeral should be and you wrote it so well. I could actually feel Harry's emotions coming out of the pages. I really can't wait for the next chapter. If you keep up with the rate you're going, it should be phenomenal.

I'm working on Chapter 5 right now. In my opinion it's where the story really starts because the first four chapters really just tied up loose ends from DH and created some of the question for this fanfic.

Okay all you fans of my fanfic, quick update.

My beta just got back from vacation and just found a few spelling errors. So the only things that were changed were a couple of missed spelling errors. Chapter 5 is coming along slowly but surely, thanks for being patient.

Wow, you are a really talented writer. After just reading the first few paragraphs I was hooked. I could see everything happening! It was like reading one of the books. You are so descriptive. I am really enjoying reading this fic!

(These are my comments as I'm reading..............)

Chapter 1: I can't believe McGonnagal declined becoming Headmistress! Kreacher is so nice! I wasn't too fond of him in the books, but reading how you describe him, I really like him. Barty Crouch Jr! *Gasp!*

Chapter 2: Oh, Mr. Weasley is so nice. That rotten Harry! Not talking to his friends. Shame on him! Oh my goodness, Percy is there! Yay! *Hiccup* Fred's funeral.. At least he's going. I was afraid he'd be a jerk and say no.

Chapter 3: Ron is so sweet! Yeah, Hermione! Talk some sense into him! Oh my goodness I forgot about Hedwig! Awww. *Sharp intake of breath* Voldemort! That guy is creepy. You describe him so well. It makes me shiver.

Chapter 4: That was a nice article about Fred. He was so cool. *Sniffle* Oh my word, there's so much emotion! I'm going to start crying! I'm so glad Luna went to the funeral. Wow, that was a sad but beautiful funeral. I don't think JK could have written it more nicely.

Chapter 5. Lucius! I'm sorry, but I think he is so cool! Evil, but cool! Draco!!!!! Oh yay! She's going to be headmistress after all!

Wow! Like I said when I started reading, this is a really good fic! Please update again soon! I really want to see what happens. Let me know when you do update! Great job!

Well Nick, I just read chapter 5. Shame on me for neglecting your fan fic! But it was great, as always. My favorite chapter so far! I too love Lucius' character. I actually like a lot of evil people like Voldemort and Bellatrix but I guess that's just the Slytherin side of me. I really am eager to find out how Lucius brought Barty back his soul but I have a feeling that will be one of the many mysteries and unanswered questions. Anywho, I look forward to read more!

Well Nick as I promised I read it all... and guess what... I loved it! I'm normally not into post DH fics that are about Harry but this one is really amazing! Honestly I can't believe this is you're first one!

So with chapter 4 you made me cry which with fanfics is pretty hard to do. I mean ok I might shed a small tear but with that chapter... I cried. Maybe it's the fact that Fred was one of my favorite characters of the whole series and you did his funeral justice. Haha I think the death thread gave you good idea .

So I have theories on how Barty got his soul back... but I won't share incase I'm wrong. But still I loved that you brought him back! Now I have the feeling Draco is going to tattle on his daddy! I hope so

I loved your new chapter. It's so considerate of Mr. Weasley to try to get Harry to go back to Hogwarts. I've always thought of Mr. Weasley as being a great father figure for Harry. It kinda stinks that Harry didn't tell him why he didn't want to go.

So Harry went down to the Forest of Dean. That would take some gut after having freaky dreams about the place and what he might find there. Barty Crouch Jr! Ahhh! He is so cruel! Dear me!

I can't wait to see what happens! Like I said before you are great at describing things. There is so much detail, I can see everything happening. Keep it up!

Nick I am annoyed! How can you leave the chapter like that? My goodness! And boy oh boy does Harry have a hero complex! ok I get that he feels guilty but didn't he learn that going places he dreams of leads to trouble? Specially if he goes alone! Tut tut.

I really liked this chapter, it was rather thrilling at the end! I really want to know what happens next because if not I'll be bothering you . I'm good at bothering

Wow, what a story. I must admit I was slightly skeptical when I read the title, normally post-DH stories don't capture my interest. But your style of writing, the plot, and Harry's characterization have captured my attention and I really like it.

Your style of writing is amazing, the way your portray the events, Harry's emotions and the feelings of those around him. You use enough dialogue to keep the story rolling, but not so much that it feels like we're just reading conversations between people.

The plot is really good as well. Harry's guilt and solitary living, the way he seems to be as important as any of the adults in the wizarding world and how he helps influence decisions. Barty Crouch Jr. is an interesting character. I'm looking forward to how you explain how he got his soul back.

As Stef pointed out, Harry should know by now not to go to places his dreams take him. They never ever end up being good. And now he's paying for it with the Cruciatus curse. Ah well, hopefully he'll survive and all will be well. I do think he needs to get over some of his needless guilt. It really detracts from his character. I get frustrated with characters like him.

Oh and a special note about the Lovegoods; wow. You did a wonderful job with them at the funeral. You had me laughing about their silly things in the sky. It's not easy writing about them, what with all their quirks and stuff, but you did an excellent job!

Anyway, you're an amazing author and I'm looking forward to reading more.

Chelsea- I know right, Mr. Weasley is such a great guy to Harry and I was so fond of him in the real HP series that I had to put him in mine And yeah Barty Crouch Jr. It was tough to think of someone who was a good villain after Lord Voldemort and who was a Death Eater and then I thought, why not bring back BCJ? I can't wait to tell the whole story of how he got his soul back and...oops, I better stop; almost said too much.

Stef- I'm so sorry to leave it like that, I really am. Trust me, I hate it too as a reader but I thought it would be best (that and I had to go run an errand ) You would hope that he has finally learned to stop going places in his dreams, but he still had that weakness in the series at the end so he's still got it now...at least for a little bit. Haha, I'll try and post as soon as I can, or else I bet my inbox will be full of PMs (which I wouldn't mind, even if you think I would)

Lauren- Wow, what a piece of feedback, I love it I'm so glad you approve of my style of writing. The amount of dialogue was (and is) a big concern for me. I've realized that you can't have too much or else it's not a book but too little and it's a documentary. So it was definitely on the top of my "pay attention to" list. Harry will loose his guilt pretty soon, mainly due to the fact that he has now discovered that BCJ is back. Oh and thank you so much for the Lovegood part. At first, I wasn't sure if I should put them in and then when I did I wasn't sure if I portrayed them correctly. I'm so glad to hear that you think I did. Rereading it, it's making me laugh as well

Wow, this is really good. I was kind of skeptical, I normally don't read any stories that have to do with Harry directly, I tend to stick to Marauder era or OC fics, but Stef and Lauren both recomended yours so I checked it out and I was very surprised, in the good way.

I love the way you portray Harry's emotions, it's sad to think of how guilty he feels but it's also completely realistic, it's easy for anybody who has lost somebody close to them to relate to how he's feeling and you did a great job of portraying that guilt. The funeral actually had me close to tears, so props to you for being able to make me want to cry cus that's not something easy to do

So I'm curious about why it was important that Draco overheard the conversation between his dad and Barty, or if it is at all. When I first read that my mind immediately started reeling with what he would do with that information, but from what I can tell it just sort of disappeared after that so for my over-active imaginations sake I do hope that you go back to that

Another great chapter! I love the idea that BCJ is back but I really want to see Voldemort alive and in action but I suppose I shouldn't expect that until later. Ah, it's so horrible to wish for the most evil wizard of all time to return but it makes for a good story.

Also, what I love about you fic is that you stay consistant. I've read some post DH fan fics that strayed horribly from what had happened before. Some have started off good but in laziness, I suppose, they got sloppy and the characters no longer were their characters. But you've kept it consistant and I look forward to more.

So when can we expect chapter 7? No hurries though!

You're such a good writer, I love the way you show Harry's emotions without over playing them. Like there's little subtle hints as to how he's feeling throughout each chapter, something that makes it feel more real.

Take your time. Really, no hurries! I've started reading Stef's fic and several others so my time is well occupied. And I can't see you ever getting lazy with your fic. Even if you did, I would still love it! You got me hooked on the first sentence and I don't see me ever leaving it anytime soon. Your an amazing writer and just keep the great chapters coming!

nice.. you gave quiet a jerk in the end of 5th one.. I thought Lord Voldemort would suddenly pop up from the tree and thought it was Him when Crounch Jr. turned up... commomon, teach Harry to fight the Crucio thing.. it hurts... when Harry couldnt do so..

and very gratefull of Mr. Weasley to come upto Harry.. .and nice to read that Hogwards will be run by none but Prof. MacGonagal.. and blimey, that killing dememtor thing was a bit evil.. may I ask, how can we do it? it might be usefull.. I case I find one lurking around here..

Whew that was a close one, I almost wrote my reply right on the story hehe.

Anyway, it was interesting how Barty manipulated Harry so easily and then Harry still managed to escape unscathed. It shows that while both were trying to be so smart and outsmart the other, they each made very silly mistakes that wouldn't have happened if they were thinking things through properly and not simply acting on instincts or grudges.

And there at the end with the two men who were watching Harry...I'm pretty sure that it was good ol' Lucius and Barty. Though to be honest I'm still waiting for you to explain how Barty is alive. I have a pretty good guess, but I need the confirmation haha.

Well, excellent chapter and hopefully you post soon! I'm really liking it.

Now that was a great way to end the chapter. I have some theories I know I'm right because when I come up with theories they are normally right unless you are a completely random writer . This chapter was awesome dude, I loved that Harry had to stay in the cellar for like ages until he remembered duh he could get out. Silly Harry. Awww super house-elf to the rescue! Hahaha he's super cool.

Really it was a great chapter, remember I don't lie . Keep them coming even if it is at a slow pace. Its worth the wait .

Another awesome chapter. It's so like harry to forget about Kreacher being able to help him out. I have to be honest though...I thought Draco would be the one to find Harry and help him escape...since he seems to have morals now . But I'm glad you used Kreacher. It's like Deja Vu all over again in the cellar....creepy!

I love how you ended the chapter..it keeps us hanging for more. I can't wait for the next chapter! I'm glad your feeling better Nick...and the concert sounds like it was a lot fun!

Aww Nick I loved it

First off, it's strange reading such a nice Kreacher, I'm so used to the nasty Kreacher from the earlier books but you write him so well and it's so easy for me to believe that he really has changed so drastically.

Harry isn't the brightest bulb is he... I can't believe it took him so long to figure out how he could get out of there I like how he still tries to be the hero, trying to stun Barty like that, but it's sad that everything seems to be working against him. As for Barty - he seems absolutely crazy but I just love the way you write him! It's wayyy to good.

I suppose I can forgive the sad chapters... they may be sad and tear making, but they also make for good reading. So you're forgiven. Just don't be tooo mean to Harry

Oh, Nick, you've done it again. You've written another fantastic chapter that has me aching to find out what happens next!

Harry can be such an idiot sometimes. Barty had him so bad. I can't believe Harry fell for his 'trick'. He's a bit slow sometimes too. That might have been from his various blows to the head. I wonder if they're permanent? But calling Kreacher was smart. I like Kreacher so much. When he went back to get Harry's wand I was afraid he was going to get caught or something. Glad that wasn't the case.

I think I have an idea who it was who was watching Harry......... Lucius and Barty perhaps?

Well, please, post again soon! It was a great chapter and I could almost feel Harry's headache you described it so well.

Lauren- Your replies are so nice that I wouldn't have minded if it ended up in my story Well Harry is not very focused right now as you (and most readers) can tell. He's still pretty wigged out about his scar hurting, his recent battle at Hogwarts, and is still slightly miserable. Plus he broke up with his girlfriend, he's scarred for life

Stef- I'm so glad you liked the way I ended it. I was debating on what I should reveal in this chapter. Actually, that's basically my dilemma every chapter. I'm going to try my hardest to post soon, but now that I'm going back to school in four days it's getting pretty busy around here.

Dawn- Hey Dawn, I'm so glad you liked the newest chapter. I can't reveal too much about why this chapter turned out the way it did but I'll tell you this much; I was seriously debating having Draco not rescue Harry but observe him being rescued but my beta and I decided against it.

Kelly- Awe, thanks Kelly, I'm glad you liked it. I know that not many people are used to a nice Kreacher but when he was nice in DH I absolutely loved him so he's completely nice in my fic. I hope you like him

Ok..so I'm cheating and commenting anyway even though there isn't a new chapter (I don't think, I haven't checked ) but I had to comment on that.

Hating is a very good thing my friend. My stupid Remus story I hated since about the sixth chapter and I managed to draw it out until close to 20 chapters. Keep in mind I did quit it about three times but I still came back to it! So hate it all you want, but after a while you might get an inspiration and then you'll say "hey, wait a minute. I can't quit!" I think most people hate their own writing to be honest, even if everyone else says its amazing.

Not to mention, your lovely fans might come after you with spoons or something.

I particularly liked Harry becoming more withdrawn. I think it's a good continuation from Deathly Hallows.

I thought it strange that Harry still thinks of Arthur as 'Mr. Weasley.' Was that deliberate on your part?

Oh my! Why aren't you continuing? I really want to see what happens.... My heart was totally sooo sad during the funeral, like I actual knew Fred so closely because I love the series. And there was the ups and downs, and I just really love it!
