Hmm, I've been thinking about this question since you asked it, I think it's a good idea for a topic!
However, I can only say that I wouldn't want to be anyone else (unless it was a part of a mission or something necessary for some greater good). First of all, because I like being myself; And even though I can pretend, and when I really have to, I can lie (little white lies, small slants) - I don't think I could pretend being someone else.
And most importantly, impersonating someone wouldn't be right, it wouldn't be honest.
Sorry, this is my opinion. But I still reckon it's a good topic and an interesting idea, I'm curious to see what others think!
Who would you be, for example?

Well, I'd like to think that this topic is more for a laugh than a serious matter, for example imagine the funny things you could do?
I'd like to impersonate Snape and play the nice guy for the day, haha everyone would wonder what kind of potion he taken that morning.

If we are talking HP characters..I'd love to be Dumbledore!! To be so respected and so accomplished...wow what a great feeling that would be! He's absolutely one of my favorite characters.

Outside the world of HP...I don't know who I'd want to be...someone important..like the President of the United States...then maybe I could fix our country and try and make the rest of the world hate us less...

Haha! This is great! I think it would be so cool to be a character from HP for a day. (I can't think of anyone at the moment who I'd want to be in the real world. I'll have to think on that a little more deeply.)

As for Harry Potter, hmmmm, I'd like to be Tonks. It would be so cool to be able to change my appearance all the time. Oh my goodness that would be cool! She's so funny too!

I wouldn't mind being a character from another series either. Like from the Narnia books, I'd like to be Susan. I'd make her not so annoying. I'd like to be in a time where you knew how to sword fight and all that. It would be so cool!

This is a funny topic, if I could be anyone I guess I would impersonate Hermione then go into the Slytherin Dungeon and befriend the Slytherins and for extra fun I would hit on Draco...lol...Then once it wore off and the real Hermione shows up all of the Slytherins would be wondering why Granger isn't "hanging out" with all of them...I know corny but hey I'd have fun with it....

Hmmmm if I could be any one for a day. Wow that would so cool! Hmmm I think I'll pick from the Harry Potter world first...I would love to be Tonks because she can changer her appereance anyways, but I also wouldn't mind being one of the Weasley twins just to mess with the others mind. That would be soooo funny! But as far as in my own world....hmmmmm......I wouldn't mind being someone famous and get all thier contacts and everything so when I am myself again I will have a major jump start in helping the homeless people, stopping world hunger, and opening a few places where run away teens or teens that have been thrown out of thier homes can go and have 3 square meals a day and I would help them get thier high school diploma or GED and I would help them get into college or Job Corps (which in a nut shell is FREE college).

Thinking solely of the HP World, I think it would be fun to impersonate Tonks for a while. I also think it would be awesome to be able to change my appearance at will, and to have her job! Or I would be Hermione so I could hang out with Harry and Ron, and know everything in all my classes.

It might also be interesting to be Fleur Delacour. She's in a different magical school, and it would be kind of neat to see how Beauxbatons works! I always thought it would be interesting if J.K. Rowling wrote a book or two on life in a different wizarding school...it would be fun to see how it contrasted with Hogwarts.

Let's see, I would like to become Tonks so that I could change my appearance, but if I only used Polyjuice potion, would it make you a Metamophagus for an hour? If not, I would be Voldy, and declare that I would never touch muggles, muggle-borns, or Harry and his friends. I would also imprision the Death Eaters, if that was possible to do in an hour. But Voldy is bald, so I would have to use toenails or something. Ick.

Okay...so I know I've answered this...but I just thought of someone else I would want to be. As far as non HP characters go..I'd want to be Bella Swan. Just because I love Twilight and I would to see what it was like being her and having Edward !!!

I've actually been thinking about this topic for a while. I've always thought how cool (and slightly creepy) it would be to have some polyjuice potion and be able to turn into anyone I wanted....granted I could knick a piece of their hair or something

From the HP world, I'd probably choose Draco. It would be fun to make Draco the friendly guy around campus for a little while!

Outside of HP....hmm, I don't really know! If it was from another book I'd choose Claudia from Interview With a Vampire. She's amazing.

I don't know that I could pick a real person. Beside the fact that it's kind of creepy...and I wouldn't want to screw up anyone else's real life...I just don't have any idea who I'd pick!

Well..I just answered a similar question yesterday..something about favourite potions.. anyway..

from the HP world..I'd like to be Minerva McGonagall. I'm this girl who likes to make people laugh and laugh herself too. I'm always cracking jokes (my friends say so)..so as McGonagall I'd do the same . Everyone would be..whats up with her? and I'd laugh too.. The maximum i've seen McGonagall is smiling. .so it would be fun being her..

from the non HP world..hmm..I'd be my pharmacology professor. She's good, but she's more concerned about how she looks, rather than teaching us. So once I be her..I'd dress in the most lousy manner and go to the university..then I'd take the class (ofcourse) and well..I'd really teach well..and that would be really shocking for all! Our professor tries to teach well, but like I said, she's more concerned about her looks. So i'd let all the chalk dust fall on my hair and face ..and teach like anything..



I didn't know people hated the US. In our part of the world, they love it. Many dream to go there, either for career purpose or for earning...

hmm, this is a good question. I would want to be a few people. Firstly, I would want to be Albus Dumbledore because I just want to explore all that knowledge and stuff in his mind. I think it'd be pretty cool to know what he knows. I would also want to be James Potter. I just find the Marauders fascinating and it would be so cool to be him. And the last person I would want to be is Harry, of course. I think it would be very humbling to be him for a while; it would definitely increase my pain tolerance if nothing else.

I would be Harry because he is my favourite character. It would be awkward to be a girl so I'll stick with guys. It would just be really interesting to be inside his body and experience things Harry Potter style.

I would like to be able to be Dumbledore for a while. I know exactly what I would do in his shoes. I would like to do everything in my power to make up for every time he has been negligent to Harry. All those times he left him hanging, I would do all in my power to give him Dumbledore's condolences.

Oh actually now that I think about it, it would also be extremely interesting to be Snape or Lord Voldemort. Ah I could talk about this forever. I'll stop. haha I'm sure you can figure out why it would be thrilling to be them.

Seriously, I would consider Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter world. I would love to see what it's like to live like a Weasley. To have a father who's interested in Muggles/works for the Ministry of Magic. I would love to see how that clock of theirs actually does work! That is something I've always wanted to see! I would love to say that my brothers own the Weasley's Wizarding Wheeze's in Diagon Alley. Haha, I would also love to say (after Deathly Hallows) that HARRY POTTER is my husband! I think it would be really cool to be Ginny Weasley. But true enough, there are several other people that I would like to be, but for now, I'll stick with Ginny Weasley!

I know this is gonna sound weird, maybe even a bit evil, but I think it would be interesting to become Voldy for a bit. Make a fool of him in a public place and see how people react to it. And if I could have become him after GoF and before OotP, then I could have saved some lives by letting them know he was back in a way that Fudge could never deny.

I think that I would want to be Luna Lovegood because she is different and creates her own style. It would be awesome to be friends with Neville and Harry and go to the DA meetings. Luna may be weird but that is why I would love to become her!

Well there is a good number of people that I would love to be in the Harry Potter world...of course Tonks being one of them because I love to have fun and make people laugh so I would have no problems portraying her. Heck on here my boyfriend is even Remus Lupin...go figure. I also wouldn't mind trying my hand at being Ginny, Luna, Hermione McGonagall.....the one I would have the most fun with is Umbridge for the simple fact of how evil she is and me being the way I am.....yeah lets just say the staff and students would think she had been oblivated.

But as far as being someone outside the Harry Potter world.....*thinking*.....for the longest I would have said "Anyone but me!" But to be perfectly honest I have grown to like me so seriously I don't think I would be happy being anyone but myself in the real world. I would probaly be like Neville or Pansy. Why you ask? Well if I was Neville (and I'm in Slytherin) I could go and spy on the Gryffindors and get any info that may be important for later down the road. If I were Pansy then I could push the real Pansy out of the way and earn some much deserved alone time with Draco lol

Hmm, tricky question. There's a whole lot of choices regarding that topic. But if given the chance, I'd be an Asian Pop Star- member of a group or solo. May it be K-Pop of J-Pop or Manda-Pop, I've really been diggin' their songs for a while now.
