I just put my daughter in school for the first time last week. Feeling a little empty nest while she is there. She started Kindergarten as she is 5. She had a great first week. Teachers only had to peel her off of me the second day. She was fine after that as she adjusts quickly.

Her teacher has already told me Sierra is extremely intelligent and she looking forward to evaluating her skill level. So of course I dropped her an e-mail telling everything I could about my girl and her Preschool studies as I schooled her at home for Preschool. She is writing, doing some reading and spelling, and even plays chess. I'm very proud of her. She is quick witted too and doesn't miss anything. Her teacher said she definately can't wait to get her hands of Sierra's learning and she already has a softspot for her. She told me that I'm very blessed to have a daughter like Sierra.

I am not quite back in school yet I have a little over a week before school starts for me. I pick up my schedule the 14th and I start school on the 20th I think. Right now I am in the worst stage of coming back to school because volleyball conditioning started today. We also start two a days on like the 18th I think for volleyball.
I kinda want to get back to school to see all my friends but at the same time I am not looking forward to the school work.

She seems a great kid, Dreamwalker! I absolutely love children.
Maybe because I act like them.
My little cousin, Pedro, started kindergarden this year. He's only turning 2 this september. He's the sweetest thing I've ever seen! The best word he pronounces is "carro", meaning "car", in english. lol
Well, I'm going to College this year. My classes only start at September 22nd. I'm in the middle of my hollidays.
I still have a lot of time to go to beach!!

Hey thats totally kool for everyone! Dreamwalker I hope your daughter does so well in school. As for the other two and whom ever else may come in here....Good Luck to All!
I am trying to get back into school, but the school I am trying to go to doesn't exactly have a set schedule. It is called Job Corps....which in a nut shell is free college!
Job Corps Link! This a wonderufl alternative for people whom can not afford college! But anywhom all I am waiting for is the call so I can go back. Wish me luck!

Aww Dreamwalker! I don't mean to sound like I'm bragging but your daughter is starting to sound alot like me when I first started kindergarden myself

Adjust to school so fast it was like I've done this before; My teachers told my parents right away that especially in the reading area I was in a higher level. So they placed my in an advance reading class only; So I started reading first grade level and so on all elementary

So yea enough about that; I personally though don't know Sierra

I wish her the best of luck in school<3
Well how ironic I was thinking about a school related thread; Not quite but it can merge that way

Well I start school next monday. I start my Junior year of highschool; And quite honestly I'm sort of worried, well not worried but nervous to start. My classes are pretty challenging this year; I'm an AP and Honors student. And I can't wait to order my class ring

HJP/HJG: Good uck with conditioning in Volleyball. My friend is also currently in the middle of conditioning as well. And you're lucky you get you schedule before school starts. How does that work? For me I have to wait til the first day of school and go to homeroom and they give that to us.
Magic Khrixx: You're litte cousin sounds cute

I remember when all my little cousins started school but they spoke spanish first; Haha they sound like me when I use to say carro as well(: What college are you going to?
Leo: That sounds interesting; A free college? That's a first

What do you plan to study?

The school plans a certain date and they send out the date on a bulletin and you go to school on that day during a certain set of hours and you pick up your schedule and you get your locker assignments. The new students have someone show them around to where all their classes are and they also get shown to their lockers.
Last year I was lucky enough to get a locker next to my best friend even though we didn't realize it until the first day of school because for some reason lockers 8 and 11 are right next to each other.
Thanks for the moral support for volleyball conditioning it wasn't that bad today we probably only ran 2 miles. The only good thing about conditioning is that you can find out where some of your friends lockers are. This year and next year unfortunately we have half-lockers but seniors and freshmen get full lockers.

Wow! Lucky. I have always wanted lockers, but in my school they don't anymore. I mean when I was freshmen. But you had to rent them before they runout. Because my school is BIG and there alot of kids. Which is why in my sophomore year they decided to no longer rent out the lockers. There were way to many kids. The only locker place is the locker rooms you go to for PE and you can only use them during your class period that you have that class for.
By the way out of curiosity what grade level are you going to?
Your conditionings are starting to sound alot like my softball conditions as well

Running a mile everyday and if the coach thinks that we're lacking she adds another mile with a time limit. Then we do lunges, leap frogs, bear crawls, high jumps and it goes on..

I can't believe they just stopped having lockers I never would have imagined that a high school didn't have lockers. Even when you did have them you had to rent them, wow I feel bad for you. I have had lockers since 6th grade unless you count the half a year that our lockers got taken away in sixth grade because we were always getting in trouble.

For conditioning today we did Indian Run or as I always called it slow train when the back person sprinted to the front and then the new last person would sprint to the front and everyone else jogged. Every time we did this we added another lap after we got to four we subtracted a lap each time. It was a 400 to 600 meter trail so it kinda wasn't fun. We would do one lap take a break, two laps in a row, three laps in a row, four laps in a row, three laps in a row, two in a row, and finally one again. We did some more random jogs here and there but that was the main thing we did. After that we went and did ten hills. It was a generally easy day no stairs or stations (leg lifts, push-ups, medicine ball throws etc) I bet conditioning for like any sport would be pretty similar, except more running and less stations for like cross country and track team.

Wow lockers *remembers them fondly* haha, I don't know about anyone else but I loved having a locker because that marked that we became "big kids" in my school.

But now I've moved on to dorm rooms. I'm heading into my sophomore year of college August 31st, with classes starting September 1st.
Oh conditioning, I swam in high school and was pretty good (trying not to honk my own horn

). Anywho, I used to do doubles everyday, mornings 5am-7am and afternoons 3pm-6pm. Lord, how I don't miss those days. Wait a tick, now in college and it's gotten worse

Ha ha any conditioning is pretty horrible but I have heard that swimming is pretty much the worst actually but track has always been the worst. Yeah I am pretty athletic I play basketball, volleyball, track, swimming, and water skiing on competitive teams. I used to also play competitive softball, soccer, and gymnastics as well. I am probably the best at basketball.
So do you just pick out your classes on the first day of school, Nicky? My school picked our elective choices towards the end of last year.
So are you swimming collegiately, Nick? I call doubles two a days and this year I only have two days of it because we start school two days after your officially allowed to start practice. But after school starts I have a week of three hour practices...

Actually we do it towards the middle of the school year. Odd I know. Back when I was in Middle school it was toward the ending; But for me in highschool we pick classes during the middle like in Jan. or Feb. So that the counselors have enough time to do our schedules for next year and incase we students decide to change anything. I don't think I have ever heard of school picking classes the first day lol
And I too am very athletic. Just some sports I prefer to play in school others I play for fun. I played basketball in 7th grade, softball in 8th and 10th and I am playing it again this year (: But I like clubs alot as well.

OK yeah I didn't think anyone did that but for some reason after reading one of your previous posts I somehow got that idea. I wouldn't think anyone could do that just got a little confused ha ha.
The students pick two electives and the school designs the rest of our schedules like core classes. There are only like 40 kids in my class so we all take pretty much the same skill level classes until jr. year. Last year there was only one kid in my class I didn't have a single class with everyone else I had at least two classes with and I had about five people I had every single class with all year.

Cool, I'm glad you guys seem to like the thread. Keep going, I had a lot of fun reading everyones comments. Sierra is doing great. As a matter of fact she had art class this morning. She wants to go back into Church Choir in September and wants to play basketball. I think she'll do great. She is pretty rough and tumble and can hang with the "big kids". At 5 she weighs 50 lbs. and is 47 inches tall. I can't believe how much she has grown this summer. I have my first PTO meeting next week in which we'll discuss planning for the Fall Festival. PTO is a Parent/Teacher Organization at the school where we discuss fundraising for the school and so forth. Everyday Sierra comes home and has told me about a new friend. She also informed that she learned a song yesterday in music class about how elephants have wrinkles everywhere, even on their teeth!
Good luck to everyone starting school soon and remember to have fun because you only do this once and when it's over it's over. Sierra can't wait until HBP comes out at the theater for my birthday. Oh, yea, She's a total Harry Potter Fan.

Ha ha it is OK. I go to a Catholic School and four years of Theology is required. I also have a floating study hall, meaning we start out with study hall during first period, the next day it is during second period, and so on. We skip Mondays because we have the entire weekend to finish homework.
I think needing certain classes to graduate is pretty much universal. For most colleges you need at least 4 years of math, three years of science and social studies, and two years of foreign languages. At least that is how it is down by where I live I believe. I think it is kinda odd that you cant take social studies one year and you also cant take science one year. I have never heard of anything like that.
Do you mean you have a block schedule like four classes in one day that you just double in length and you switch off what four classes you have everyday? I have a couple friends that had block schedules in previous schools and they loved it.

If I were a teacher I think it would be quite refreshing to have someone like her in the class. You must be really proud of her.
to Nick's question - here in Britain most places, private or public, we have to wear a uniform anyway. I hate it. But I think, seeing it from the school's point of view, I guess it does represent the school in a good way, makes it seem more organised and such...
But I'm the kind of person who doesn't like to look the same as someone else, I prefer to have my own style. Which you can have with school uniform up to a certain point (by wearing watches, wearing shirts a certain way, shoes are always different etc) but I still feel as if I'm some kind of fascist regime (which isn't helped by big black gates at the entrance of the school.)
It's not a terrible uniform we have.. I think we have one of the best I've seen. But I'd still rather the freedom of wearing what I want to wear.

I have a rather lenient dress code compared to some private schools nearby. Everyone has to wear a solid color polo of one of the following colors dark blue, royal blue, light blue, red, yellow, white, or gray. We can wear jeans, skirts, khaki or jean shorts and my favorite is that I can wear flip-flops. We used to be able to wear school hooded sweatshirts but I heard that rule would be changing this year but I also heard we wouldn't have to tuck in our shirts!
Uniforms are boring and I am not really a fan. I have never been to a school without a uniform policy and I hate it basically. The only thing that I like about the uniform policy is that I only need like 30 seconds to grab what I want to wear for the day.

Hannah: Well yea. Like I have 8 classes [I use to have 6]. So what they do is for example today is monday; We start off with the odd periods. 1-3-5-7 those are the classes and yea the length of class time is doubled. Then the next day are the even periods. And so on. When I use to have 6 classes it was the same except then on Fridays we have common which is ALL classes; But since 8 is too much we don't do that :b and theology sounds complex :? I don't know why for 10th grade we don't take social studies but of course for 11 and 12th grade we do. And 11th grade is technically considered the last year of science but if you'd like to you can take another science course in 12th. The same with math. Starting for the freshmens this year it's mandatory to take 4 years of math; Luckily for the 10th and us juniors we don't have but it's suggested that we do.
Kelly: What are AS exams? And I would say that you're lucky you start school in September but for me school ened early [June 5th] and I have had 2 months of summer vacation and wuite frankly I'm already in the school mood but that will pass after the first week back

Nick: I am in public and we too have uniform :/ Unfortunate really. My highschool was probably the last highschool in Miami-Dade to be uniformless; Until the beginning of my freshmen year

Ugh punishment by looking alike. I personally hate being told what to wear. So I feel you Kelly I too would rather have my own style. So I try to bend the rules. I wear what I want as long as it's school colors. Jeans are not allowed only on fridays >.<

What are AS exams?
AS exams are a part of A Levels, we do them in two stages, AS the first year A2 the second and you add all the grades and points together to get your overall A Level grade for a subject.
A Levels are like the exams you do before you go to University, they're the final exams you do in secondary school (or college depending how you do it) and like the biggest exams of your life really
And you finished in June? We didn't finish until late July which could explain why we go back so much later then
For those such as myself that aren't in college where do you want to go and what do you want to study?I know I'm definitely going to study Acting. Ahh *cries* you just reminded me that I have to start applying next month. But I'm looking at going to a University in London, somewhere like Guildhall (the biggest and most prestigous in Europe haha)
But my parent's have also said that I can go wherever I want to for Uni, even if that means going overseas. So I'm looking at a few outside of the UK. Mainly Juilliard in New York because lets face it, if I managed to get into an Acting course at Juilliard I would know that I was definitely an amazing actress because that's like the biggest place for the arts in the world! Its just a matter of persuading my parents to pay for a flight over there so that I can audition

Like most of your answers to my question, I would not like to wear uniforms. I went to a public school that did not require uniforms. But I'm all about uniqueness and originality (redundant sorry). It's one of the best parts about school, showing up in what you want to wear and people can tell what you're feeling by what you wear. In psychology my teacher always said that uniforms diminish one's own personality. So I must admit, I'm against them.

Honeybee, what do you teach?
I may be odd to most parents but I can't see making my girl wear a uniform. I cherish her individuality. Now, her dress code is pretty lax since she is in kindergarten. No tops with spaghetti straps is all they asked. As she moves up it will get stricter. I know the older kids have to have skirt lengths and shorts lengths below the fingertips and extra baggy cargo pants are not allowed. She didn't feel her best this morning after her fall allergies set in last night. I gave her some medicine but she did not sleep well and did not eat well this morning. She started to cry when I left her so Mrs Valeriana, her teacher, came to get her till she felt better. Right now she has just finished gym class so I hope she is having fun. She loves gym class. It is her rotating N.E.S.T period that she has about 8:30a. It stands for Notes (music class), Exercise (gym class), Surfing (computers), and Texture (art). Last week she had Computers on Monday, Music on Tuesday, Art on Wed., Gym on Thurs. and Computers again on Fri. This week started with Music but it follows the same order. She really enjoys her NEST period. I so hope she doing o.k. today.

Pottyhead, I didn't ever want to have children either. I just thought being a mom would be too scary. I never thought I wanted to be tied to one person for the rest of my life either but then I met my husband and I really wanted a child then. I was 28 when I had Sierra and I still wonder if I'm doing everything right. It can still be scary. But having a daughter like Sierra makes it all worth it. I'm very proud of her. She is percocious, funny, athletic, smart, beautiful, a leader, imaginative, caring and sensitive. I could go on and on. Her teacher told me I'm very blessed to have a girl like Sierra. Of course I already knew that. If and when you do have children you'll be just as blessed.
Yeah, school seems to start earlier and earlier. Sierra started August 5 and she will have her last day on May 22. We live in the state of Georgia in the U.S.

Uhh, back in school. It is hard to get used to getting up early and not get home until 3 or 4 in the afternoon. I have just begun my senior year in the upper secondary scholl/grammar school (I am not really sure what to call it in English, but it will be my 13th year in school)
So, not in college yet. But I when I have finished this year, I plan to study medicine or chemistry or pharmaceutical science or political science. I am not quite sure yet. But I am quite sure it is going to be one of those

Dreamwalker: I'm not kidding you you're daughter is sounding alot like my younger self

and I do hope that she feels better; Atleast when she first started schoo she didn't throw a tantrum like my older and younger cousins. They literally were the hardest to get into school. Crying and kicking and when they got them into the car and try to get them out a classic moment happened. Holding onto the side doors for dear life

I on the other hand was extremly happy to start. It was my mom that had to let me go or else I was going to end up late to my first day

I still remember what I told her, though it was in spanish, I told her "Mom let me go aleady I'm going to be late!" Haha. She looked at me wide eye hoping that I was going to throw a tantrum as well like my cousin. Sadly no such luck(: By the way has Sierra already decided on a career?

I remember how I first wanted to work in the Seaquarium in FL. Then be a scientist xD
Lulu: When did you start school? And I think if I'm not mistaken in America you'd be considered a senior in highschool! Oh my! Congrats Senior

I'm a junior in highschool I'm just a year behind you. I'm a senior of course NOT this year but the next one(: What is political science ? Lol I'm sorry for sounding dumb but I've always wondered how so many different sciences can exist

Rach2603: I'm guessing that AS level are like report cards? Does that tell your exams scores or grade of the school year or something? Lol and the best of luck in college; What would you like to study?
And to answer my own question
For those such as myself that aren't in college where do you want to go and what do you want to study?I want to go into the field of Meteorlogy and specialize in Hurricanes(: Since I am from Florida and we are known to be the first state to always be hit with Hurricanes. Also I was born August 30, 1992. If you google Hurricane Andrew [Aug.24.92] you will see how bad it was and I was born 6 days after it hit Florida. I am born in the worst month of Hurricane Season

unfortunately. So I'd like to either go to FIU [Florida International University] or someplace out of state. And maybe work in the Hurricane Center here in Florida or in the N.C.A.A.

what a dream!

I have no idea on where I want to go to college. My parents both know I don't want to go to college in-state and they are fine with it. I am thinking going over a state or two and if I can go spend a year abroad in Europe hopefully.
I am not sure about what I want to study either. I kinda want to be a journalist, I also kinda want to go into the medical field. I don't know, I guess I still have a while...

I'm not back in school yet but next week, Tuesday, I start my first year at college. Ahhh! It's exciting, yet nerve wracking. I think I'm gonna miss high-school a lot. Not the drama, but the easy courses.

But hey, I also heard that college was a blast so I will see what comes of it.
I had always wanted to go out of state for college and I am doing just that because I'm going all the way up north to Pennsylvania to major in Business Administration and minor in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Marketing and Sales. Lol, I really don't know. But it's my first year so I will eventually figure it out.

Everyone is surprised that I'm doing Business and they say that with a brain like that I should have been in the Medical field but researching bores me, I hate science, and I am such a wimp when dealing with sick people and blood. Also for some reason, I feel like I'm meant to do something else in my life. Either that, or I'm delusional.

I have a question for some of you private schoolers. Have you ever had to wear a uniform for school? If so, did you like it? And do you think uniforms are a good or bad thing?
-Nick
HJP
I never went to a private school but we still had to wear uniforms. At first, we had the choice to wear khaki or navy bottoms and white, burgandy, or hunter green polos on top. But then the administrators got all strict on us and changed the policy so that all we had to wear were white polos and khaki bottoms. I hated it! It looked like a prison. I think I had more hatred towards the uniforms than the other students because I was coming from a school where there was no uniform policy. But I grew to love it and I actually think that the uniforms were a good thing. I didn't have to worry about what I was going to wear the next morning because it always was the same thing.

I had to go into school yesterday to get my AS Level results (again, I know most people don't understand what these are - basically they're part of A Levels, the first year of them, some of the most important exams in my life really!)
I did quite actually. I got an A in Media Studies and a B in Drama, History and English. Though I'm going to resit the papers I did the worst in in the subjects I got B's in to try and get them up to A's. I really want to get 4 A's
So I have a new question, seeing as there hasn't been one in a while.
Everyone says to us that school is the best days of our lives. Well for anyone who is still in school/college/university what do you think about this? Will you really look back on school as the best days of your life or not?Kelly

Nicky Potter, Yes Sierra has decided on a couple of careers already! She likes to play the Prisoner of Azkaban game and the Chamber of Secrets game with me but one day she was complaining about not being able to choose her own house to win the house cup. (She would like to be in Slytherin and wants Harry, Ron, and Hermione in Slytherin with her. She likes snakes.) She was asking me why she couldn't and I said that the game wasn't designed that way. She persisted with why so I told her I didn't design the game so maybe one day she could become a game designer and make her own game. Well, 2 weeks later she is telling the Choir Director at church (She's in Choir) that she was going to be a game designer.

Now for career diversity, she loves animals. She was watching the "Care of Magical Creatures" bit on the PoA movie and she was fascinated by all the different animals and how they were trained and taken care of on the movie set. So about 3 weeks later we were talking and she told me she wants to "train animals for the movie sets."

She is something else! Nevermind I'm Mom and partial but she is as absolutely beautiful as she is smart and athletic. She is pretty well rounded. I'm really proud! She adores school and is seems to be teacher's pet. Mrs. V adores her!

I would say that high school is fun and all but it won't rank as one of the best years/periods of your life. However, I really believe that college is the best years of your life. It's such a blast and you get to experience things for the first time that you've never done before. Also, you get your first taste of living on your own; and the best part is that your living with a bunch of new friends.

Well I haven't really had many other days. So far High School has rocked, and besides drama has been amazing. I love high school, it is so much more fun than jr. high. I am hoping college is even better for me, I can't wait to have that kind of freedom!

Nicky Potter- As is the exams you take in the first year of college in UK. the first year of college is aged 16/ 17
and 2nd year is 17/18
so in the 2nd year we do A level, and the higher the grade got in AS the easier it is to get high overall in A level because the points sort of add on- but you dont have to do the 2nd year
then the grades you get in both AS and A level give you 'UCAS' points which a certain amount of is needed to go in to university and get a degree
so the higher the grades the more points etc
A is the highest grade, then E is the lowest pass grade. 'F' is fail and a 'U' means its so rubbish its ungraded
i managed a C in english language/ literature
B in drama and theatre studies- 3 marks of an a so i am allowed to retake a 'unit', which is one paper that is part of the whole grade
and and 'A' in health and social care
i have other results which are exams i did that are a lower qualifictaion so they are out next week- general studies and British sign language
they are only just making it compulsery to go to college over here, which i think is good as so many kids leave school at 16 and just dont bother getting jobs, or they cant get jobs because they aren't qualified enough
good luck to anyone else getting any sort of results or going to new schoool etc

Hi all =)
Everyone says to us that school is the best days of our lives. Well for anyone who is still in school/college/university what do you think about this? Will you really look back on school as the best days of your life or not?
I feel yes and no on this, even though we are not burdened with bills to pay and other expenses such as family to keep, but school can sometimes be a harsh environment and at times it simply isn't funny, kids can be cruel. On a brighter note however, it is one of the times in your life where you haven't a care in the world and have a laught with friends, I wouldn't really class school as being the best days of my life though, personally, I'm looking forward to university mostly and to socialise with some mature people. Although I suppose there will be a part of me that will miss these times but that shall not be for 2 more years yet.
I finished my GCSEs this year and I shall recieve my results in 6 days, I'm extremely nervous, after on the 3rd September I enroll for 6th form for A/S and A levels, I finally start back formally on 8th September, Wish me luck on my GCSE results! =)

Like Rachelle said, I think it's a yes and no thing. But for me it's going to be more no.
I can't wait to get away from where I am now, school included. I hate the place and the only thing I'm going to miss about it is the friends I made while I was there. While it will be weird to leave, I have spent the last 6/7 years of my life in the fascist institution! It'll be good too.
It'll be weird in the way it's going to be weird to leave home and live on my own, it'll be weird in that I'll never see the place again or some of the people I met. But at the same time I cannot wait to see the back of that place.
I don't know what it is, but I hate this place. I guess it's some of the memories I have. But I just can't wait to go to University some where else. Hopefully somewhere outside the UK if I'm good enough to get in.

That's exactly one of the reasons why I can't wait to go to University. Even though it'll be sad to leave the friends I have now, there's always the excitement of completely starting over with people who know nothing about you, can't use your past against you and who you can just have fun with.
The freedom and independance will also help

I'm in agreement with Kelly on this one. It's a yes no thing with a lot more on the no side. I absolutely cannot wait to get out of here. I can't wait to be away from my mother. I hate my town and about 90% of the people in it. I don't like my school at all. There will be things I miss, I'll miss my best friends, I have some great memories that I'll look back on and wish that I could go back. But in all honesty those memories are probably just going to be from last year. My freshman year was awful, I had a lot of problems and battled with serious depression. Last year was actually pretty great, and the friends I'm going to miss the most are people I met last year. However, because my school district is so overcrowded we split schools this year (my junior year) and all of my really good friends are going to a different school than me. So really the only point in it is to get good grades and get out of here as soon as possible. If that's the best time in my life then I'm really not looking forward to the rest of it.

I start school in about a week, I'm excited for it because this summer has been so boring. I am also looking forward to school because I feel like I am kind of stuck when it comes to friends and stuff. I'm not going to a new school, but I want to meet new and nicer people. Last year was kind of bad for me and I want to make this year a whole lot better.
Everyone says to us that school is the best days of our lives. Well for anyone who is still in school/college/university what do you think about this? Will you really look back on school as the best days of your life or not?I going to be in 10th grade and looking back at all my years in school, I hope it gets better! If these are supposed to be the best days of my life, I'm kinda scared for what the rest of my life will be like.

I'm waiting for highschool to be over so I can go into real life. I feel like college will be a lot better than highschool for me. Haha speaking of this, right now I'm listening to "High School Never Ends" by Bowling for Soup.

Wow...
Dreamwalker, sorry it took so long to answer your question.Your daughter sounds like she is too cute.. my kind of student.

I teach second grade in a public school district in Tennessee, so you are pretty close to me. As for the uniforms/ dress code... In my school district, this will be our second year having to follow a dress code. My students have only 6 colored polos shirts that they can wear(2 that the district chose and the school can pick 4 other colors), as well as either blue, khaki, or black pants. My only complaint is that students should be allowed to wear any colored polo shirt. The reason being is that we have students that move to different schools during the school year, and if the school doesn't wear the same color as your previous school, you have to purchase new ones. Usually, students that are moving to other schools have a lower income, and can't afford to purchase new uniforms. My students actually enjoy wearing the uniforms, although, they think it is sooo cool to have a dress down day. Having a dress code sure saves time in figuring out what they are going to wear the next day.
As for the next question:
Everyone says to us that school is the best days of our lives. Well for anyone who is still in school/college/university what do you think about this? Will you really look back on school as the best days of your life or not?I know that when I was in high school... I couldn't wait to get out. I hated my high school. It was huge! I think my graduating class was around 470. My husband on the other hand went to a small private school with a graduating class of only 50. For years all he talked about was how much he missed his high school years and how much fun he had. I was so jealous. As for college.. I went to a small community college and then to larger college, but I was definitely a minority and finished school as quickly as possible. So if I can give any advice... Enjoy it while you can and make the most of it!! Just don't get sent to the office for causing trouble too many times.

Hi, Honeybee. Second graders are cool. My nephew started second at Harmony this year with Sierra. It makes her feel so grown up to attend the same school as Isaic and she gets to see him in the morning. I used to babysit Isaic and his 2 sisters for my sister-in-law and Sierra feels like she is Isaic's 3'rd sister. She adores her cousins. Where in Tennessee? I'm in the North Georgia mountains so I'm about maybe an hour and a half to two from Chattanooga. I've been to Chattanooga, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Nashville. I really like Tennesse, it's so pretty.
As for school being the best days... I really liked school but honestly I think now is the best time of my life. No peer pressures for one and I've run into some people from school that I couldn't stand while I was in school that have matured into decent human beings so I think life just gets better and better. For those who hate school, hang in there. It's not forever and it is a good experiance. I'm not sure is necessarily better now than my school days but it's just different and everyday is a new experiance no matter where you are.

Will you really look back on school as the best days of your life or not?Well I really can't say much. Monday I start my Junior year of highschool. I can say that so far I really like it better than Middle school of course (: A bit more independent I might add. I don't want to say that it's my best years of life becuase I still have university to look foward too. So who knows. No complains so far

By the way I won't be on as much :/ since I start school but this won't be the last of me

I will be back. Until then take care all! And wish me luck; I'm pretty nervous to start school this year for some reason
