I just want to know who your favourite Gryffindor is. Mine is going to have to be Fred because he is just funny.

My favourite Character in the list has to be Hermione, however I have vote for Neville in this poll (as he is a very close second) because he is a very likeable character, he has no grand ideas about him self (in fact the opposite is true) and he has had a very hard life, he has both lost his parents but not really lost them, he has been picked on by the Slytherins since he became a Hogwarts student yet he never seems to complain.
I hope in the next book when Neville gets his own wand he will assert himself a bit more and show everybody he isn't a pushover!
Plus I’m sure Hermione will get plenty of votes anyway!

Where's George? Anyways. I love Fred and George. I haven't concentrated enough on them to pick just one though. I doubt that's possible because they aren't exactly main characters.

Harry because he is brave and he is also the main cha.how could you not like him.

I voted 'Other' for Lupin (surprise, surprise!! ) and for obvious reason. (Afraid I'd bore you to death if I listed all the reason why I like him... so... nevermind)

i know its prolly typical but HARRY is the best Gryffindor!! could you imagine Hogwarts without him?? Seriously Ron would be just another Weasly...Hermione would be just another bookworm and so on so forth..the characters are who they are becasue of HARRY!!!!!!! YAY HE ROCKS!

I only read the books to read about harrys life so i care about him the most so he is my best

I voted for Hermione (such a shock!). She's clever, figures most everything out, Harry and Ron wouldn't be where they are without her, but most of all because I have her personality.

Well. Since I'm not very fond of Gryffindor all that much. I'll have to choose Hermione. The question still stands at to why she was not put into Ravenclaw. The best house in the world! As you can tell, I'm a huge Ravenclaw supporter. Hermoine shows great strengths in intelligence and wittyness. Also, she doesn't exactly care what other people think of her, which you can tell all that by how she doesn't always use the special greese she used in Goblet of Fire to make her hair nice everyday.

Of course i voted for Ron because he is my favourite character. Not only is he loyal and brave but he is funny and an amazing character. he rules!

Obviously I chose Ron because I think he is a great character, and I love his sense of humor. And I too, is deadly scared of spiders! He's also a very good friend and you can always trust him.

Ginny, all the way. She has Ron's loyalty, a lot of Hermione's intelligence, Fred and George's resourcefulness (they trained her, after all), Wood's quidditch skills (if on another position)and Harry's courage. What more could you ask for? (not to mention she's very good looking...)

Ron, because one only has to look at his actions in the Shrieking Shack in PoA (his finest hour) to see how incredibly brave and loyal he can be. And he's funny, he makes me laugh!

For me it's Harry. I admire many of his features. He's brave, can stand physical and mental pain, he isn't afraid of big things he has to do so much (I mean he is afraid but not much as me )- he's a bit of ashole sometimes but he's just great.

Second place are all 3 Weasleys.

Hermione all the way. She's the voice of reason and she's smart. She stays on top of the game, she's alway ahead of everyone else, sometimes even the people older than her.

Has to be Harry, without a doubt. He is the reason I love the books so much, he has such a wonderful sense of friendship and loyalty *sigh* and he is so noble and brave. But of course he's not all perfect, that would make his charater bland and unreal. I like how he doubts himself a lot, and loses his temper quickly at times and also can misjudge someones charater, all very human traits. He's just plain lovely!

Ron, underneith all that anger (hehe) and jelousy there is a funny sweet guy. And thats what i love about him, no matter how rotten or evil the things he do, it always seems to get someones attention even if its the wrong way.

First, I have to say how funny I thought it was to see a poll called "Your Favorite Gryffindor" made by a person with the username "Slytherinlover". That just cracked me up. I voted for good old Ron!

Definitely Ginny - She's been one of my favorite characters since GoF, and ever since then - she's just grown quite into her own.

Although Fred and George were my initial reaction before seeing the choices, as soon as I saw Oliver Wood, I had second thoughts. Oliver was smart, daring (pushed slytherins buttons) a great Keeper, Quittich Captain, and his appearance in Sorceror's stone won it ove for me.

Fread and George are a very close second.

I voted for Fred and George. They're the most amusing and Remus Lupin is unfortunately just Gryffindor alumni, so he didn't make the voting list. He would've taken the cake for me, though. But Fred and George are equally admirable because the books wouldn't be half as fun or decent without them. It's like what Harry said when he gave them his winnings from the Triwizard...the wizarding world needed someone to give them a laugh, especially since Voldemort had returned.

My favorite Gryffindor is Hermione, probably because I see myself in her...lol But I also like Fred and George, they're so funny, and Harry of course
