Some of those so called mistakes were really badly observed. Also the one that made me chcukle was about Edward being asleep...read the book people! And, of course Rosalies mouth didn't move when she said 'Here comes the human...the camera was on Esme!!
There were other things I noticed but to be honest everything is too inconsequential to worry about!

Hi everyone! Happy Holidays!

Just a quick intervention...
I went to watch Four Christmases with my family and I was very happy to see a few of Twilight's posters around, when I asked the guys when was the movie coming, they said on January 1st!!! There is still nothing about it in the newspaper, but I can't wait! I hope I'll be going to the movies on Thursday and watching it, but if not, Marley & Me will suit until it finally gets here!!!
I'm surprised at how none or almost no publicity is being used to advertise the movie... I knew it was not going to be big, but this small is... Odd! Especially since it was such a huge movie in the US and England!

Yay, Anita! I hope that person is right and its coming to your town!!
And just my Twilight related Xmas gift.... I got the Twilight The Scores soundtrack, I'll be listening to it tomorrow on my 5 hour trip home! I already have a favorite, its the one titled "I Know What You Are"....its played at one of my favorite scenes in the movie!
Hope everyone had a good holiday and a happy New Year!

Anita, it's going to be on theaters here on January 1st as well!!!
It's a funny story...I was watching tv and my attention was distracted by something and then I suddenly heard "From the best-seller Twilight...". I turned my head and there it was...the trailer with greek subtitles! The only drawback is that I won't be home at 1st so I will have to watch it later. But I get so excited whenever I see the trailer, even though I've already seen it like a thousand times!
It is kind of bizarre that they don't advertise it a lot here either. The trailer they are showing is the shortest one and the less informative. All it shows is Bella and Edward and no chase etc etc. As if it's only a love story. Who knows?
I'm so excited, I really really can't wait!
I hope that it's true and you'll get to watch it very very soon!

Since 2008 is almost over, I thought I would take a minute to congratulate Stephenie on a successful year. A lot of very exciting things have happened this year, and it has been fun for those of us who are fans of the writing to follow along.
Several major media outlets have also noted the success, and (as long as I am posting something that Stephenie probably wouldn't approve of) I thought I would post a few of the links for those of you who haven't heard about the recognition and praise that she has received for the year of 2008:

USA TODAY's 'Author of the Year'

Hello everyone!!!
I am pretty new to Twilight. I saw the movie in November, but before that I had never heard of the series and that is my biggest regret. Once I saw the movie I knew I had to read the books!! I have to tell these books are some of the most amazing books I have ever read. I was pretty much obsessed with them.My mom gave the saga to me for my birthday the 20th of december and I finished reading them yesterday. I honestly love them.Okay okay I am rambling. About the movie, I did like it.I believe that the actors chosen to represent the characters are PERFECT!!! Now I'll stop.

I am going to make a promise to myself: If Twilight gets a new actor for New Moon, I won't see the midnight release or the day of. In my opinion, it's stupid to change the actor, because I'm sure that if we got all of the Twilighters to vote, at least half would want to have Taylor Lautner, as is, do New Moon. I really want Taylor for the rest of the movies, because to me, he is Jacob. The part can no longer be played by anyone else.
OK, well it's been a long time since I've been in here and I just finished reading all of the pages I've missed. First off, Merry belated Christmas to everyone, I hope you all had a great one. And I can now say Happy New Year. Secondly, I had a great Christmas, my family was great to me as always. So for Twilight-related presents, I got the movie-companion guide thing. I finished reading it, and I just keep going back to the last page and looking at the grand piano. I want it sooo bad. I recently played on a baby grand that was K. Kawai brand for a recital, and I was thinking, "So this is close to what it feels like to play on Twilight's grand piano." I think I've only played on a grand piano once in my life.
My respect for Kristen and Rob has increased yet again. I was at a store and there are all the different magazines in the front that tell you all of the latest celebrity gossip. So I saw one that had Rob on the front and I picked it up. It was about how New Moon might not be very good because of on-set feuding. Because Rob has been drinking in bars and Kristen has been spotted smoking and Rob likes Kristen (which we've known all along, so I don't get why they're only making a big deal out of it now) and Rob was allegedly going out with Nikkie Reed for two months and just because they broke up must mean they can't be friends! I mean really! I feel terrible that all of the stars have to put up with the paparazzi.
Why should it matter to us if Rob would like to spend his time in clubs? There are so many other people who drink like crazy all the time. Nobody is causing a national scene about them. And millions of people smoke every day, including other stars, but just because it's Kristen it's supposed to matter so much more. Let the stars do the stuff they want to do and maybe learn from mistakes. This is their business and it's not fair to them. We've all seen interviews with the stars talking together and Kristen doesn't hate Rob for liking her! It just doesn't make sense. Some people would argue that this is what they chose when they signed up for Twilight, but we've repeatedly heard that none of the actors had any idea what they were getting into and that it would be so incredibly huge! It's just so absolutely unfair. It's enough to drive anybody crazy.
Sorry for getting off topic and ranting so much. But does anyone agree with me?
Awhile back (a long while back), nicky potter asked if anybody was getting bored with the whole Twilight thing and I'm going to finally answer that. I'm not getting bored, but it's gotten to the point where I wish it was back to the days where Twilight was smaller and it just the nice little group talk we had in the thread. The only thing wrong with that picture is some of the nice, great people that we have in here wouldn't be here without all the hype. So I wish that we could have all of the people in the thread now, could be there back about nine months ago before all of this got started.
Finally, a big congratulations is due to Stephenie Meyer for all of the praise and awards she's gotten this year and all of the previous years.
Sorry again for the deathly long post.
EDIT: Oh yeah, I also got a Twilight poster! It is the one with Bella and the Cullen siblings! It is already hanging on my wall.

Jan 6 2009, 03:38 PM
Well, after finally getting the rest of the books for Christmas, I can finally post my thoughts on the series here.
I enjoyed it. It isn't my number one book series, but it makes the top ten for sure. The actual 'Twilight' was my favorite, just because I didn't really like the theme in the others. That is mostly because I am Team Jacob.
It has nothing to do with me not liking Edward-- not even close. I adore him as a character, and his relationship with Bella is so sweet. The only reason I am Team Jacob is because I was against Bella becoming a vampire.
I love life too much to turn immortal. Life is to precious to me, and I didn't want Bella to throw it all away. She will now miss so much. I didn't want that to happen. And while I have nothing against Bella/Edward, I have everything against Bella being a vampire.
The fact that Bella had a child annoyed me as well. It didn't seem right, and when it started to cripple her, I actually had to stop reading for a moment and slow down. Renesmee is lovely, and I loved the ending, but I didn't like when Bella started to fall apart.
My favorite part in the whole series must have been at the very end of Breaking Dawn when all of the vampires came together against the Volturi. It made me very happy to see them standing against the evil super power.
I haven't seen the movie yet, and I don't really have plans to. That might change, but for now I am content with just the books.
One last thing: about the changing actors thing, I disapprove. Just because the character is growing and changing, doesn't mean the actor has to.

It’s never predictable how much time you’ll have on your hands. Sometimes your very busy and other times you have valuable time to do other things that you love as well. Thanks for all the news Nicky and thanks for giving us your input BRoyals!
I think it's time for a new question around here. I know we're all past talking about Breaking Dawn on here, but I had a question to ask about it. It's possible we asked this months ago, but I don't think we did. If we have just let me know and we can stop the question. Or we can just post our answers again, because maybe our perspective has changed since then.
Do you like human Bella or vampire Bella better? Why?
I like human Bella so much better. I even miss her a little bit. Being clumsy seemed like it was a part of her, as much as her vulnerability. It's weird that she is neither no clumsy or vulnerable anymore.
Also, did anybody else feel like there was a weird transition between Eclipse and Breaking Dawn? It felt like we were missing something. I know a month is supposed to have gone by and all, but that's not what I mean. At some points it even seemed like a different author was writing a fan-fiction. It didn't feel like the same series in a way. Of course there was still the same characters and all, but like I said, it felt like a fan-fiction. (A very good one though)

Wow! I haven't been in here for a very long time! I think I'll take a crack at the latest question...
Do you like human Bella or vampire Bella better? Why?
hot-for-harry, I understand what your saying about missing the clumsy Bella. But I like her just a bit more as a vampire. Just about the whole series is about her human self. I started to get tired of her not being a strong female personification.
When Bella becomes a vampire, we see this inner strength we knew she had but didn't really see. Like in her human life she's just as special as a vampire and exceeds all expectations. She's finally the strong woman that I was eagerly waiting to see. And her and Edward seemed to get a lot closer. There's no fear of hurting Bella. And the fact that she's able to take charge and protect everyone she loves, instead of being protected, definitely worked in Bella's favor. The way she changed, however; wasn't what I imagined. I was hoping for a more romantic setting. But oh well...at least it was a selfless act.

Hi everyone!
Well to answer the question:
Do you like human Bella or vampire Bella better? Why?
I like both, but I do prefer vampire Bella, like Hermione 17 said.Although I liked how she was clumsy and always blushing, her vampire self really does show the strong person she really is. She was independent as a human, but when she was human the poor Edward was always worrying that something would happen to her.Now that she is a vampire he is so stressed. I agree once again with Hermione 17 when she says that Bella and Edward's relationship becomes stronger after the transformation.
Now to the topic of Taylor getting to play Jacob in New Moon.I heard last night on E News that he was bulking up just for the film to get more into character.I am so excited that this is happening. Oh I forgot, they also said he had already gained 19 pounds!!!

You know, when Taylor was cast as Jacob I had my doubts. He wasn't how I imagined the character and I alwasy pictured Taylor as Lava Boy! Then I saw him in Twilight and I changed my mind and became completely team Taylor. He hadn't been given a real chance to prove himself in the role with the small part he played in Twilight and I was looking forward to him being in New MOOn. Now I'm glad that he has been recast, he deserves it. I think bilked up or not, it's how he puts himself across that is going to be the real clincher and I for one am looking forward to seeing what he has to bring to the table. Well done Taylor!

I just got back home from Twilight.
I absolutely, freaking loved the movie! It is no book, it is a whole different thing! Robert was...stunning, and Taylor was super cute! Kristen was...yack. She was shallow, and nothing special on her acting. I know she looked like Bella, but she kept blinking and she had no strength on her emotions. She is a cute actress, but not a Bella.
» Click to Show Spoiler - Click Again to Hide... «
My favourite scenes were the kiss of course, the one on the field where they played baseball, and...when he drank Bella's blood to save her. I loved how they played Robert's songs, they couldn't have found a more appropriate scene to play "Let me sign". It was...I was breathless. Way to go to the director, whose name I will misspell if I post it.

I only got disappointed that they didn't play Decode during the movie.
I will definitely watch it again, probably not on the cinema but at home. I'm really glad I waited for two months, it was totally worth it. And you know what? I actually can't wait for New Moon! I'm glad they won't change Taylor. The other guy they wanted to hire is...he's arrogant and annoying.
One more thing I'm proud of: I spread Twilight knowledge today.

People don't know there are four books!

EDIT: Is it true that they're filming Eclipse too?? Woot, woot!

As for Taylor coming back as Jacob...I'm all for it. I loved him in Twilight. Rob's opening line (Well, word) was a little awkward for me. And I agree with you
alkisti, Kristen is a cute actress, but she wasn't a convincing Bella. I pictured someone totally different and with stronger emotions.

Her voice! Her voice! I still have issues with it! I think she does look a lot like Bella, but not only her voice doesn't portray the emotions we get when reading the books, but her face sometimes lacks them too. I completely agree with you
Dawn.
I think Rob is a better Edward than Kristen is a Bella. She's like too... Indifferent, I think, like she doesn't care enough... Sometimes I believe she didn't get into character enough, contrary to the rest of the Cullen clan and Edward, of course.
I wasn't very convinced of Rob as Edward at the beginning of the shooting of Twilight, but now I really enjoy him, I think he did a great job and I don't know where the passionate actress who talked on interviews went...
I'm sorry if you guys disapprove, that's just my very humble opinion...

Otherwise, I'm very looking forward for the opening on the 16th, contrary to what the guys at the counter said... Grrr!
On Jacob, I like Taylor, he's got the whole character in place, but his looks... Well, it's good to see that the director is taking into consideration the fans' opinions, and the acting skills instead of a pretty face (or in this case, body), but as a Jacob-disliker (I stand by that, sorry...) I hope the CGI stuff really works. At least he does portray the emotions well and he's very enthusiastic and compromised with the story. I like that about him! I do wish he was a bigger man, then he'd be the shapeshifter I imagined. He can act! And he seems sweet! I like that about him!

I fixed my spoilers, Dawn!
Well, the only thing I liked about Bella/Kristen is how distant she looked. This worked for the character as far as common humans are concerned. It didn't work though when she was with Edward. I mean, she loved him more than anything else but she didn't show it to us.
A friend of mine said to me after the end of the movie: "Is there any chance they will change Bella?"

Robert on the other hand...I loved his eyes. He used his facial expressions really well. The hurt, the rage, the panic...I was absolutely satisfied by his performance. One other thing is that when I started reading the books, the cast had already been announced, so I had pretty much accepted Robert as Edward.
Taylor was great. The only thing that...I don't know...bothered me I guess was...

At a risk of sounding like a party pooper, there are still a few countries (according to IMDb) where Twilight is still to see the light of day (haha, I crack me up)!
Those countries are:
Egypt, Germany, Kuwait, Slovakia,Switzerland, Austria, Bulgaria, Turkey, Denmark, Ecuador, and Japan. Release dates in these countries are between Jan 14th and April 4th.
Since Ecuador and Japan's release dates are so far off, I think it only fair to you guys that we lift the spoilers next weekend, 17th January, by then Twilight would have been seen by just about everyone on here.
Now some really sad and rather annoying news. My cinema is no longer screening Twilight in th evenings. Four weeks after release and it's finished. It's a shame but it hasn't done as well in the UK as they'd hoped. I blame the awful pre Xmas release date. Who in their right minds decided that a good weekend to open would be the one right before Xmas, the one weekend when everyone was finishing their shopping. Idiots! They should have opened the weekend after the premiere!
The Uk has announced it's 2nd Eternal Twilight convention. The first one will take place in 6 weeks and 6 days (yes I'm counting) and tickets for number 2 will go on sale on the last day of this event onMarch 1st. The 2nd one will take place over the weekend on 16/18th October 2009.

Jackson Rathbone talks New Moon with MTVThe actor who plays Jasper in Twilight recently spoke with MTV about the next film, New Moon:
Some movie stars like to make news, while others like to gossip about the news that goes on around them. And then there's stars like the fast-rising Jackson Rathbone, who'd rather just show up, be handed a script and get to work.
"I actually have not read it," Rathbone recently told MTV about the "Twilight" sequel "New Moon" during an exclusive interview we caught up with him this week for a concert by the actor's side-project band, 100 Monkeys. I thought that she did a really good job. I mean maybe there could've been more expression and all, but in the books I sometimes found Bella blank and apathetic which is totally OK. But I truly do understand what you guys are saying. That she could've showed some feeling with Edward since they are beyond soulmates.
For Edward,

I agree with everyone that his opening "Hello, I'm Edward" came across as awkward. I think that was supposed to be his dazzling expression though. Everybody in our theater laughed too.
For the casting of Leah, I have nothing against any of the Disney stars, but Twilight doesn't seem the place for those stars. I'm probably underestimating them a lot, and I'm sorry, but I don't think Twilight is about smiling and having a good time with a moral at the end. We also need to think about how in Breaking Dawn, Leah's hair is supposed to be short. Who would look good with whatever needs to be done? Like Ashley Greene looked great with the short Alice hair.
Stephenie (Meyer) put on her website that you can now preorder Twilight! Has anybody done that yet?

It has been about an hour since I read the last page of breaking dawn...
Well yes it's true...I have become a Twilight fan girl
So I am popping in here to join your discussion....although it seems that as I haven't seen the movie yet theirs not to much for me to say....
So my thoughts on the books
Amazing...I loved them, but as is true with all things...the first one was the best. It was the most addicting book I have ever read and although the others were good...just not as page turning. I thought that the scene in the car where Bella finds out that Edward was a vampire was fantastic. It gave me chills while I was reading...and it was probably one of my favorite moments in the series
New Moon had a bit too much Jacob and a little not enough Edward for my taste. It's not like in Eclipse where he's rude to her but it's still not Breaking Dawn when he thinks of her more as a sister(that's only because he imprinted, though, but it worked). And I thought that Bella was willing to risk injury and even possible death just to hear Edwards voice was touching, and proved that she belonged with him
Eclipse was really good... but Jacob still annoyed me to no end, I thought it was pretty unfair of him to treat Bella that way. I still refuse to believe that Bella was at any time 'in love' with Jacob, Bella wished that Jacob had been born her brother because that was how she thought of him. Despite all my annoyance with Jacob in this book I adored the scene in the tent when Edward and Jacob were talking about haw much they loved Bella
Breaking dawn was the only book where I really did like Jacobs character, no I take that back...I did rather like him in New Moon. His portion of the book must have given me a new perspective on his character... or maybe it was that the chapter titles in that part of the book made me laugh hysterically. The thing that annoyed me in Breaking Dawn was that during her pregnancy, Bella seemed waaay out of character... just the whole 'calm...i love my baby...it's going to be alright even though all evidence says the opposite' attitude(okay I know that was a bad description I couldn't think of a good word) really bugged me for some reason. I also got a little ticked at Alice for a while...but I got over that.
Now this last thought is just about the series as a whole. One character that I took a particular interest to since the first book was Jasper. I mean how can you not love the guy? I was ecstatic to find Jasper's story in Eclipse, but I feel he was lacking a bit in Breaking Dawn. What I mean by that is that I was interested to see how he related to Bella as a brother. I mean we got a lot of the oh-so-sibling-like snips between Bella and Emmet, but I did really wast to see a little more contact between Bella and Jasper...oh and now that I think about it a little more Alice/Jasper would have been nice to.
I hope none of that was supposed to be in spoiler tags...but I doubt it

Jill I 100% agree with you on everything!!!
On the first book when they were in the car and she finds out he is a vampire, excellent!!!! I loved that whole part.In New Moon, yes there was too much Jacob and too little Edward. I felt like I was in pain when Edward was absent.Oh yeah and when she risks her life to just hear his voice,it really got to me.I hated Jacob in the third he was always so smug about everything.WHen they share their kiss and I wanted to throw the book across the room.I mean what was that? Yes that scene in the tent was really touching.Breaking Dawn was my favorite book. It had everything.WHen I first read that JAcob imprinted on Reneesme I was in awe.It was full of so much emotion.

I admit to being guilty of skipping chunks of New Moon when I read it again, and again. I just wanted read the bits with Edward! My bad!
So someone thinks the UK is lucky to be having 2 conventions eh? The US has a few of there own. They are:
Twilight Chicago Convention
Location: Chicago, Illinois
Dates: February 6 - February 8, 2009
>> EyeCon Twilight Convention
Location: Orlando, Florida
Dates: May 8 - May 10, 2009
>> Summer School in Forks: A Twilight Symposium
Location: Forks, Washington
Dates: June 25 - June 28, 2009
>> TwiCon 2009
Location: Dallas, Texas
Dates: July 30 - August 2, 2009
I haven't heard of any other countries doing cons as yet but I will let you know if I find any.

Jan 11 2009, 11:23 PM
AWESOME!! Thanks
etphonehome for listing those conventions! I'm the guilty one for being jealous of the UK. But not anymore...I might be able to make it to the Orlando convention. With a lot of begging to the hubby! LOL I was supposed to be going to forks during the summer but it's been pushed back to about September...so I'll be missing the summer school convention

I bet that one would have been really awesome.
Since you know all about the conventions...what exactly is it all about? Are there people dressed up or something...like the sci-fi conventions. Are some of the actress and actors there? I'm totally clueless when it comes to these things!

Oh, etphonehome I skipped large chunks of New Moon too when I re-read it...don't feel bad...I missed Edward too much
Thanks for listing the conventions for us although for me all of them involve at least a two hour flight so I doubt I will be going to any of them...it would take Major persuading of my parents...

I too am guilty of skipping portions of New Moon. It's so depressing. So technically I've only really read New Moon completely two times. But if we count the times I skipped some parts, then I think I've read them six times.
For the conventions here in the US, I don't see how I'm going to be able to go. They are all a couple states out and in this economic crisis (for the US anyway) my family definitely won't be putting forth the money for me to go to an out-of-state Twilight convention. I'll make do with what I can get though. Plus, there will always be the videos from it, even if it's not the same as actually being really close to them.

Jan 12 2009, 10:27 PM
Dawn, all I can tell you about is the UK convention. Over the 3 days there will be cast talks, signings, photographs and merchandisers selling their wears. So far we have Kellan, Ashley and Taylor attending. The Us tend to have more guests, not so far to travel I guess!
Over the three days of our con, we have 3 themed parties, a La Push Beach Party, Prom/Casino night and 1901 Chicago party. On the Firday, the first day, we also have a gold pass holder drinks reception with the guests (I have a gold pass). I know one of the US cons is holding Volturi Ball which sounds like fun.
Hermione17
Jan 13 2009, 12:23 AM
Oh WOW! That sounds so cool! Okay, I really want to go now. How did you get a gold pass? (Just curious). Is there a way for me to find out all the info to the Orlando Convention..like a website or something? I'm getting excited just thinking about it. So at the themed parties...I'm guessing you dress up for the occasion? This sounds really fun. I'd love to go! Thanks
etphonehome for the info.
Dawn

Edit: I just found the page for EyeCon in Orlando Fla. It looks so cool! And expensive...wow! I'm going to have to do some begging. LOL

skipped some bits to where alice came

alice is cool

but whatcha think? some people think that edward is a bad bf.... i dont think so!! he is so cool!!
whatcha think? lol

I agree with you
Half-blood-princess, I don't think Edward is a bad boyfriend. I mean it's got to be hard for him, loving a human and scared of something happening to her and worried about hurting her himself. Reading the series I honestly have to say that I love Edward! My husband finally read the books and I was like "See...why you can't you be more like Edward! LOL" Seriously though, I think Edward is a great character...one of my favorites for sure!

Oh I agree...you have to give Edward a lot of credit...to love someone so much but think you have to leave to keep them safe has got to be torture(I actually just lent my copy of New Moon out to an unsuspecting friend of mine)
Yes last time I read New Moon I skipped from when Edward leaves her in the forest to when Alice is back, but I normally don't skip
that much I do like the bits when she hears Edwards voice
Wow a Volturi Ball now that sounds fun someone has to go and tell me all about it... I'm begging you
I just got my hair cut pretty short...I;m gonna style it like Alice tomorrow...a 5' 7'' Alice though(

Okay,I never commented on the skipping parts in New Moon.I have to admit I was tempted to do so. I desired so much just to get to parts about Edward I was going crazy. Although I never skipped I read as much as I could just to get to the parts about Edward's voice or when Alice arrived.
Oh Jill thats sounds cool.I will never be able to cut my hair too short let alone style it like Alice because my hair is curly.
Hermione17
Jan 14 2009, 03:40 AM
I feel the same way about New Moon. I didn't skip parts, but it killed me reading the book without Edward! When Bella was hearing his voice I think my heart was palpitating, just wanting to hear about Edward. I did skip to the back though to make sure he was coming back LOL. Then I was able to get through the rest of the book.
Jilly, Your hair must look awesome. I could never cut my hair that short. Partly because my mom and hubby would kill me and partly because I've had long hair my whole life (Currently it's at my butt)...and I don't think I'd look good with short hair.

here.
QUICK NEWS: On Amazon.com they already have up a Twilight Page (: Full of merchandise that you can all order.
; Jackson Rathbone was named one of MTV's Pop rookie of 2009 ; Want more info? PM me (:
; I don't know if many of you heard but High School Musical Vanessa Hudgens was reportedly rumored to be auditioning for Leah Clearwater and unsuprisingly to me negative feedback was heard , luckily IMO she said that it is NOT true (: phew.
That's all the news I have for now. As always I will continue to keep updating you all. Welcome to the new Twifans that have just been introduced to the series and all (:
Nicky<3
EDIT: Seeing as there has been alot of news I'd like to pose questions for you all (:
1. Who do you all think should play Leah Clearwater?
2. How many have honestly already ordered the Twilight 2 disc special edition?
3. What do you think about the fact that there is already a possibility that Eclipse might yet again have a new director? Who should be the director for that movie?
EDIT2: Completely disregard the Eclipse new director news and question; Summit has just denied that report.
By the way you guys (: I just bought the new Twilight shirt where in the fron it says I run with Vampires and on the back it says Team Edward. Which by now if you haven't notice I am a Hardcore Team Edward (((:

Who should play Leah Clearwater?Vanessa Hudgens... three words Oh God No! Thank God it's not true. What about
Camilla Belle ? I cant remember what age Leah's supposed to be, and she doesn't exactly look like my imagination...but I think Camilla could pull it off

Who should play Leah Clearwater?
Certainly not Camille Belle or Vanessa Hugens.
I see Leah as someone who is quite hard nosed, not classicly pretty so neither of them fit the mould. I'll think about it.
How many have honestly already ordered the Twilight 2 disc special edition?
It's not even been given a dvd release date in the UK yet and although I could order from the US I won't because there are some things we do better. UK dvd's are a better resolution than US ones so I will be patient and hang on for the UK release.

Who should play Leah Clearwater?I think America Ferrara, as seen in
this picture looks almost like I pictured Leah in the books.
I didn't have too many "true" visuals of characters, my Edward didn't look like Robert Pattinson, but I'd be hard pressed to accurately describe what "my Edward" looked like. I think Ashley Green's "Alice" is right on the money, though.
Jilly bean
Jan 16 2009, 02:54 AM
Oh god I agree... America looks quite a bit like my vision oh Leah... I wasn't thinking of her last time I posted
I had an oral book report due today so I did it on New Moon, and when I mentioned that Jacob was a werewolf(I'd figured that everyone in the room that was going to read Twilight had past that point already) my 70 something English teacher goes "Jacob black is he that indian boy?" and then I'm all 'Oh crap you've read Twilight and not New Moon...forget that part" so I just thought I'd share my moment of Idiot-ness
*Jilly*
Oh does anyone remember how I lent my New Moon book to my friend, well she blew off studying for her history exam to read it
Hermione17
Jan 16 2009, 03:42 AM
LOL
Jilly, I sure hope your friend doesn't fail the test. But I can't say I don't blame her. If I was still in school...I might have done the same thing. So your teacher is reading the Twilight series huh...that's pretty awesome! I'm shocked he/she hasn't gotten through New Moon yet though. You shouldn't feel an ounce of idiot-ness
I read each book of the series in a day. I just couldn't put them down. When I had to stop to make dinner, eat, shower or go to the bathroom...my mind was on the book! I think I did everything in record time just so I could get back to reading LOL!!
Dawn
Yeah, I'm nuts about Twilight!
Half-blood-princess
Jan 16 2009, 08:18 AM
haha im nuts about twilight too!!
I dunno if I want stephanie meyer to MAKE another book.
i get agitated alot haha.
if she made another book on twilight, what would you call it and what would be in it?
my answer would probs be "deep water" coz i just have that in my head.
Bella Edward, Jacob and Renesmee would go on "holiday" to Alaska or wherever they had to go, and then trouble stirkes. Jacob falls even more in love (if possible!!) and runs away with Renesmee.
So the book will be like trying to find em haha.
thats my thoughts

Twilighters can catch Kristen in several films, including "Adventureland," in which she plays a rocker chick, as well as "Welcome to the Riley's," in which she plays an exotic dancer. She was also hand-picked to play Joan Jett in a Runaways biopic. Among others on the list include Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, and Miley Cyrus.

Oh I want that bracelet! I might actually have 15 dollars too!
Now that you all know that Leah isn't even in the script what do you think?Oh my god I'm mad of course how can they not include her....I guess they think it's logical so they don't have to get a new actress and they might not think she's too important to New Moon's plot...but I'm still mad
Does the perfume drama even seems like a big deal?Um no....I do like the Nina Ricci perfume but I think she needs to let this drop the bottles are a different color Twilight's have something written on it and I think the bottles are slightly different shapes...but you know I might be biased
Do you agree with the list of 28 reasons why the movie maybe better than the book?I cant get to that page but the two you posted are hilarious

Now that you all know that Leah isn't even in the script what do you think?
I am not upset upset because I honestly don't think Leah's character is that important in the second book.We do see she has bigger role in Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.
I forgot to comment on the America Ferrera thing. I believe she would be kind of good for the role of Leah when necessary.About pre-ordering Twilight I haven't because my mom will probably say no but the day it does come out I will make her go and buy the movie.
Last night my older sister and me spent an hour and a half just talking about Twilight. We went to bed at 12.It was hysterical. We talked about everything about Edward and we just couldn't stop laughing.
