Are there any others who like this pairing?


This is one of my favorite ships. I think they make a wonderful couple even though there is an age difference. I personally have a soft spot for fan fics written about these two. They are so opposite that it makes them perfect for eachother.

I am always glad to hear when this ship gains another fan.

I am also happy to hear someone interested in fan fics!

I can recommend a few great sites to feature this ship but always beware of the ratings! While the majority of fan fics are PG or PG-13 you need to be aware of the ones that are R or NC-17. Personally, I think Tonks is a little young for Remus. Plus, Remus seems like a loner, mainly due to the whole werewolf thing... But anything is possible.

Maybe... Hmm. I don't mind the idea of Remus/Tonks, but I don't think it is going to happen. I believe Remus has other things to take care of. But hey, Remus seems to be very patient and might be able to put up with Tonks' clumsy ways. ...Though I hate to see Remus with anyone unless it could be me. XD

Tonks could be 84 for all we know.

She just got out of Auror training, and is a second cousin to Sirius! She can't be older than Sirius... She has to be younger.

Not neccessarily. (Is that spelled right?) She has the ability to change her appearance. Therefore, she could be 84 but appear as 24.

Tonks is suppose to be young and clumsy. This is her first time in the Order. I'm sure if she was 84 she'd have been a part of it before, AND already be an auror. I hate to sound rude, and I mean no offensive when I say this but... Tonks being 84 is impossible. The idea of such a theory is, well, ludicrous. It makes no sense what so ever. Sure, she can change her appearance but given the Black history it doesn't fit in. Andromeda is Tonks' mother. She is suppose to be around Sirius' age. It just doesn't add up. Sorry.

All pure-blood wizards are related somehow. Be it distant or close.

And then Remus would have to be around 40, and Tonks would I guess be around 21.

19 years age difference.......yeah.

Tonks is around 28 according to "cannon" but could be as young as 24 according to "fannon". Remus is somewhere around his mid thirties from what I have gathered about the Marauders generation. Andromeda and Bellatrix are older than Sirius. Narcissa was in the same year as Sirius when they were at Hogwarts. This is one of those relationships you either love or you hate. In my opinion an age difference isn't what should make or break a good relationship. Some people while they may be young in years are older in spirit and some while they are older in years are still young at heart. What really matters is if they love eachother and nothing else. :wink:

Yes they could make a nice couple, both of them change in different forms, both i think it could be kind of hard for tonks, imagine her leading with a halfwolf-man. How they relationship can work like that, I think they will get some troubles.
And having the idea of kids, (well if they can) just imagine how they could be? :wink:

i think that they will get along very well, that is what will make the relationship work.

TOTALLY!!! Tonks is my hero (surprise, look at my username...), and Lupin is my other hero, so together, they would be heros...um...together...let's try this again...

Yes. I agree. Tonks/Remus would be by and large my favourite ship besides Ron/Hermione.

heyyy...that matches up surprisingly too well. Couldn't Tonks just change to a werewolf when lupin does? Maybe if there was another werewolf...lupin would be fine...I dunno. It seems possible. He was affected by Hermione's "howl" in PoA. Maybe if Tonks was there he could be more "controlled."

[size=10]Urgh, I find this ship a bit too much to swallow...Tonks is very young, only a few years out of Hogwarts, I think, whilst Lupin seems to be in his mid-to-late thirties.
Plus, to be blunt, Tonks would get bored of him. She would probably be happier with someone like Bill.
And Lupin...well, I don't know. He's lost about everyone he could really be close to.
But what do I know?

No, Lupin's moustache was not in the book. It didn't really describe him except for him being tired and thin. And his clothes were ragged.

i think that it he would look better without the mustache. remus+tonks=ok

Well, I personally see Remus as celibate (sp?) I think he has to much else to worry about, then to have to worry about a love life... but, I can see him with Tonks, he is 38 (born in 1960 says the Lexicon) and Tonks is, I believe someone said 28? It's seeable, but I don't think Remus will have much time for love now that the war has kicked up and he has to worry about order missions, he is also grieving.

I don't think Remus would bite Tonks, mostly because I think he's more careful than that. he takes his potion and locks himself up at full moons, plus there is the whole concept of recognizeing your mate, and he would know her smell if there was ever an accident well, maybe...

I like some of the ideas here, and I really want to know just how much Tonks can change her appearance. I mean, is she more powerful than an animagus? Could she transform into any animal she wished? If so, then a Lupin/Tonks relationship is feasable...I'm going to search OotP for any interaction between them both now...

Also, Lupin is a very lonely man...perhaps he would welcome Tonks, or someone else, into his life.

That'd be a really cute couple. Tonks and Remus would look great together. Plus, Remus needs a girl in his life, and I think Tonks would be perfect.

I just had to comment. From what we've seen of Tonks, she seems rather outgoing, kinda loud and prone to showing off. Remus deserves someone a little more sensitive. Tonks seems a little fiesty, I dont think she could settle for quiet ole sensitive Lupin. Sweet as he is, I think she's too spunky for him.

That might be cute, but I don't see it *actually* happening. Snape/Tonks... HILARIOUS! Snape is a kind of person that I don't really see him with anyone. Maybe it's just me..

I thought about them too getting together after reading OOTP, when Remus helped Tonks carry Haryy's stuff into Grimmauld Place.
I think Remus deserves a bit of happiness after Sirius. Maybe she will comfort him in the next book and they realise they like eachother, i hope so! *fingers crossed*. I don't think the age difference will matter.

I am a HUGE Remus and Tonks shipper. I've been mentioning this couple in other fourms, but nobody seems to respond to them. They have a fanlisting and everythng for this ship. Lupin does deserve some happiness in his life like Ems said. I mean, he is a warewolf, and he has lost his best friend, so go Tonks and Remus!

But there's nothing to support this ship in the 5th book? It's been awhile since I've read the 5th book, but I can't remember those two even talking in the 5th book, unless it was in a group, talking about the Order.
I'm not saying I don't like this ship or that I don't think it'll happen, I'm just saying there's nothing that shows proof of this at all.
I will admit though that it would be really cute, cause Remus does need someone, and Tonks is real cool, just like Lupin is.

I know this couple is a bit impossible (xq????). But really I'm a totally shipper of Remus/Tonks. Is a perfect couple!!!!!!!
