Hey, sorry if this has already been posted Hope this is in the right forum? Sorry if it's not.

I randomly thought of this when I was walking home listening to music on my phone. Basically, are there any songs that make you happy or a song that you listen to when you are happy for some reason (if that makes sense?)? If so, why? Can be for any other emotion if you want.

Here are a few from me
Some songs that make me happy are:
Paramore - That's What You Get
Avril Lavigne - The Best Damn Thing
and any cheesy song that is playing haha. Can't think of anymore at the moment

Anyway, hope its an ok thread

Avril Lavigne- Sk8er boi (because when i recall the times when me and my primary school mates used to listen to this, it makes me happy)

Rihanna- umbrella (for the same reason as above)

Take that - Shine (i don't really like take that, but i like the song "shine"

Girlfriend~~Avril Levigne, it's just a fun song!

Whenever I hear Jason Mraz's I'm Yours I smile. Even though it is being overplayed on the radio.

Songs that make me happy... There are so many to pick from. I absolutely have to have music, or I get very very very mean. Just ask my sister, haha ! Whenever my iPod malfunctions she says "Oh no, now she is going to be in a bad mood until it works again." Anyway, on topic:

Superchick - Stand In The Rain, actually, I don't know if that song makes me happy, but it really helps, when you're feeling down, to stand up (:

Actually, a big thanks for the one who started this thread, it gave me an idea to create a folder, full with really positive songs

I thought of some more songs: I love the songs from HSM, they make me feel happy. Oh and Grease too. Any Avril Lavigne or McFly song for me really. Misery Business from Paramore is another for me.

Oh, when you say that, songs from Grease are just great and today I saw Grease on TV ) but about Avrilas songs, dunno, they are great and all, I really like them, they give me a great feelings, but they don't usually make me happy, cause they all bring back sad memories :S

I must add, absolutely every eurovision song from the last three years. If I listen to them as I walk down the street I'll be singing along and doing some danc moves, while everyone else on the street thinks I'm crazy(Which I'm not btw.. I think)

Songs from my childhood also has an effect on me. Disney is alway a classic, along with 90's trance. There was also a big thing here were I live to make trance songs out of lullabies, so those songs always put a smile on my face:)

P.S: raisiny, Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go is a happy one for me as well, only it was too many times on the radio in the bus when I had to get up very-very early, which I really hate so...
