I'm not sure if this topic has been posted before, but I spent like an hour looking for one and I decided to make one because I had a strange that kept continuing over the nights. Yes, I do realize that I sit here too long and when I fall asleep I think of weird stuff.. That's fine with me. Okay, now on to my dream..

It started out with myself and my best friend walking through Hogsmaed, we were just leaving Hogsmead station and we were dressed in the formal (non ugly, non flashy) kind of dress robes. We were talking as we made our way toward the castle and then we both stopped and looked up at it. It was quite pretty, and then we headed on in. We just took our time walking through the hallways and laughing as we went, not really knowing - or caring where we would end up.. we just knew thatw eventually we had to make it to the great hall before dinner was over.. Because thats' where we were suppose to get our housing assignments from, or something.

When we finally made it to the great hall, we both headed up to Professor Dumbledor at the head table, without a word to anyone.. he nodded and told Professor McGonnagall to get the sorting hat. She went to do so, and everyone became quiet all at once. We just kind of stood there with our heads smushed togehter talking quitely and pointing at anyone we found attractive. Finally, Mcgonnagall came back and Professor Dumbledore explained to everyone who we were -and what we were doing there. It was someting like.. We were American's comming to visit, we were not students, because we were both 19 and already finished our training, but we were not really faculity either. He explained to them that we would be more like.. counclers comming to stay a while and if anyone had any problems they could come to us because we were totally rad.. And were very good at helping people. We were to stay in whatever house we were placed in and anyone could send us an owl whenever tehy felt neccisary and we would come find them and talk to them about whatever they wanted. (Hogwarts really could use sometthing like that though - couldn't it? I may have helped harry out in OotP)

So, eventually it came time for us to be sorted into our houses and find out the sleeping arangements.. Eventually, my pal was sorted into Ravenclaw and I really lost contact with her for the rest of the dream. I was sorted into Gryffindor, because it wouldn't be fun otherwise -- lest I got into Slytherin. I could really go either way.

So we went back to the dormatorys and everyone was asking me questions and I was answering the best of my knowlage. They were mostly about Americans and what it was like at an American School. Fro the rest of the night, we all talked about everything until finally Hermonie decided she didn't approve of me, and told everyone to go to bed - they had class in the morniing. Most people went, becuase we all know how Hermonie gets when she's mad. A few stayed, I spoke with Oliver Wood (yes, everyone was just randomly thrown in depending on how much I liked 'em. ) until very early in the morning. And he decided to see me during his second class because he had some "emotional issules" -but he was actually just tired.

The days went on and on like this until about a month after I was there, it was the february Hogsmaed Weekend and everyone went. I went too, and was chatting with my friend - who was now a ravenclaw (She was dating Roger Davies. lol..) We talked for a bit about our reports that we were going to make up at the end of the year (because working with a bunch of cute boys = HARD ) And finally we parted and I went over to the Three Broomsticks with Oliver - and got my first incounter with Draco. He started off by saying some pretty nasty things and I just smiled at him. Eventually he stopped and sat down muttering under his breath "I need to talk to you". I just giggled and told him where my office was, but it was my day off. I think he was digging my Fishnet.. because for some reason - i wore a lot and by a lot I mean a lot of fishnet.. That was fun.

The end of that event quickly turned into meeting Draco in my office the next morning. We talked about his feelings (it was reallllly adorable) and the reasons behind him being a jerk to everyone... And then.. I.. Woke up. u.u;

If I have anymore dream, i'll let you know. This all happened within the last two nights of sleeping. I love dreams they're so great to get lost in.
Well if anyone has any crazy dreams feel free. i think that was fun because you all are allowed to think i'm crazy, but if I told anyone else they'd make fun of mee. Thanks for listening.

The dream was amusing... at first... I was a sixth year or something... and we were putting together a fund raiser type thing and I was sorting the wax sealers, beside me was this rack of different necklaces with talisman's (talismen??) on them and McGonagall and Lupin were walking around making sure everyone was doing their assigned task (mine was to sort the seals).

So anyways... Lupin and McGonagall walk past the display I'm setting up and Lupin is all "How many have you got so far?" and so I'm all "Iunno... I was just told to sort them..." Lupin looks not one ounce happy about this so he looks at Lee Jordan and says "How many of these are there?" and points to one certain necklance to which Lee promptly answers "12 on the rack and another thirty in reserve..."

Lupin: And this one? ::points to another one::
Lee: 12 on the rack and fifteen in reserves...
Lupin: What about these in emerald? ::points to gemstone necklace::
Lee: Have five emerald on the rack and ten more in stock as well as two more of each colour on the rack and thriteen in reserve of each other colour...

So then Lupin gets onto me and demands that I have accurate counts of each of my products before I am to leave and then is all "I'm very disappointed that you're not taking the proper attention for this project... especially when it was your idea to raise money for the 'Werewolf Equal Rights' campaign..."

So I'm pretty much pouting as everyone else starts finishing up and leaving. Turned out, it was my idea to try and raise money for the "werewolf equal rights" campaign and that the people that were helping also wanted to give werewolves equal rights within the magical community (though none of knew Lupin was a werewolf... O,o odd). And not to mention Lupin seemed very amused by the fact I was pouting over getting in trouble...

So, like about an hour later (this was on a weekend apparently...?) I'm finishing up the sorting and counting of the seals and everyone is gone except for me, Harry Ron Hermione (who are actualy packing up their things) and Lupin. So, like, Lupin stops and peeps over my shoulder and asks how everything is coming along and I tell him to shut up (still pouting). So his just kinda pats my butt and tells me to be in his office after I'm done because he had to talk to the other three students for a while... and goes off to talk to Harry and the others before they leave.

So, I snort and go back to the seals and start grumbling under my breath about "stupid seals..." and doing mimicks of Lupin when he was getting on to me "very disappoint bleh bleh bleh..." Needless to say I'm no longer pouting but in the early stages of being ticked off... And in my state I end up turning around and throwing a seal at Lupin, which hits him in the back and I turn back to my business since throwing the seal seemed to calm me down.

then, Lupin escorts Harry, Hermione, and Ron out of the room and closes the door behind them. He strolls himself back over to my little table of seals and stands behind me, slowly reaches around me and puts the seal I had hit him with down in front of me with a very amused "you dropped this." Which then he just sort of stands to the side, propped against the table and we just talk and talk about the fundraiser thing and other things that go to other things that end up dealing with the room of requirement and are not exactly allowed to be posted in the forums but I can and will admit that it had to do with student/teacher relations.

Interesting thread....I like....**grins** Unfortunately, my dreams involving certain characters (adult, that is...just thought I'd clarify.... ) fall into the NC-17 category so I doubt whether they're suitable to be shared....**chuckles**

I'm envious. I never have HP dreams. I think that means I'm normal, but who wants to be normal when you can have dreams about HP characters.

I'm potter dream free (I see that as a good thing). Although I've got really annoyed at the moment by my ability to pick out HP cast in other films/or other films sound tracks

Oh it's not that I get them all the time, or that they usually involve me rescuing Harry from the evil clutches of Lord Voldemort or anything...they're usually spurred by my seeing, say, Gary Oldman in a film the day before and when I dream about him, he's Sirius in appearance, but he's not actually the character, if you know what I mean. Plus, I don't think they come from reading the books, more from lusting after the actors actually....

Mmm....okay.....I'm just gonna stop talking now.....before this gets X rated.....

I have had many dreams that take place at HOgwarts. the one i remember most is the one that follows:

I was at an american wizard school called Dreazens. I was in the house Snyden ( The same as Slytherin). I was asked to be an exchange student and go to Hogwarts. I excepted so the next day i was on my way to Hogwarts. I was in my fifth year. When i got to hogwarts i was asked what house i was in and if i was a prefect. i told them what house i was in and that i was a prefect. I was told that i would sleep in the prefects Dormitory. I was shown there and then told to be at the Great Hall in half an hour. While i was unpacking i met Draco Malfoy and Pansy Parkinson. They befriended me . we went down to the great hall together. They told me all about hogwarts and how the points were awarded. I told them how i was on the quidditch team at Dreazens. they were very interested in Dreazens and said that they would be an exchange student and come there next year. Draco was interested because it was mainly a Dark arts school. The following year they came to visit me at Dreazens which they found pretty interesting.


Thats when i woke up. I woke up before the dream finished.

i get dreams like all the time...... (excuse the spelling, in a rush)

it's usually in harry's 6th year......i'm a new student from durstrang and i get into gryffindor. Hermione and i become BEST friends and suddenly i am in love with harry potter and he's in love with me!

usually, he does something that hurts my feelings and i am mad at him, but then he says he's sorry and does these romantic things (like gifts, flowers)

I KNOW PATHETIC.......but i am OBSESSED!!!!!!

I just really read into the books and always feel like I know the characters very well.

i had a dream of hogwarts along time ago but i will try to remember. it involved me being at hogwarts and i was with my friends from school. they were there because i was trying to learn the patronuse charm, but i am sorry because this is as far as i can remember.

I have had adream like the ones that Anglophile92 described except that i become best friends with Pansy Parkinson, Fall in love with Draco who falls in love with me. And he is really romantic

I never seem to have fun dreams. I'm very sure i have had one but can't thing of it now. Some of your dreams are great haha. Look what jo has done to us

wow, i thought i was the only one that had harry potter related dreams.
the i can remember right now, happended right after i read OoTP, when they are in the room with all the doors.
what happened in my dream, was i was in that room, but i wasn't really there physically, i was just a floating thing or something, and my best friend was sitting in the middle of the room putting staples through her skin.
i don't know where the staples came from, but i know that the room was from the book. and it was really messed up.

The only Harry Potter based dream I have involve me and Rupert Grint shopping and then all of a sudden we're in Hogwarts getting married. I really hate having to wake up when that dream happens.

I know I have had some, but I can only remeber that in a dream I had recently I was at Hogwarts, but I can´t remember anything else. When I told my boyfriend, he told me I´m obsessed. But I already know that!!!

Gah. I have only had one Harry Potter related dream, but that was because it featured Tom Felton.

I was on this uncomfoortably high slide type thing, climbing around and getting nauseous due to the height of the darn thing, and I saw Tom and told him that he looked like Draco Malfoy before walking over to my friend and criticizing her.

I need more Harry Potter dreams! Gah!

Well I had one were Dan as Harry came out of my computer We chated as he sat on the computer table the (Ron) RG and chatted then he left asked him if he wanted a drink he said tea then they were gone. thats the only hp related dream I had though I have lotrs sometimes for some reason ok off topic lol

well the other day (more like a year ago lol) i had a HP dream. it also involved a boy from the movie "Holes" named Khleo Thomas. so i was looking for Khleo and i found him. we were in a mall. then khleo turned into Rupert Grint. he turned into Khleo back to Rupert and it kept going back and forth. then i screamed: STOP! so he turned into Rupert. i asked him who he was, he said Rupert Grint. since then ive been in love with RG. weird huh? i was obsessed with Khleo for a half a year and rupert lasted 2 years! cool right?

My dream did not take place at Hogwarts, but it was about Harry Potter. And I don't think that this is the first time that I dreamt about HP.

My dream took place on July 16th 2005. HBP was out for a few hours and I still had not gotten the book. I was listening to the radio and the DJ came on and started talking about HBP. I tried to turn off the radio because I did not want them to give away anything about the book, but before I could reach the dial the DJ says, "And the Half Blood Prince is Ron." I was so angry that they announced it before I could even read it and find out for myself... I guess it was kind of like a nightmare!

I've had lots, but I can't remember them. So, I'll just post this one.

I was on my school bus, and we were going to school. I was looking out the window, as I usually do, and a limo went past us. I looked into the back seat and saw Daniel Radcliff, then the next second, he changed. He had long, spiky green hair with tatoos all over his body, then changed again, into Harry Melling (Dudley). I then turned around in my seat and squealed, Daniel Radcliff. I woke up then. I thought that dream was really weird and had no idea what it meant. I love having HP dreams!

Okay, once I had a dream Harry, Ron, Hermione, and me were at a J.K. Rowling book signing, and we were making the pollyjuice potion for something. Then I had a dream we went to the same school. I had a dream the actors came into my town and I was cast as Luna Lovegood. I have a lot! I'm so lucky!

I just remembered another one!

I was in my house, where some people wearing headphones came in and told me that I was to interview Daniel Radcliff, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson. Then, I saw them appear. One of the people wearing headphones gave me a blank piece of paper, and led us toward the bathroom. We then sat in the tub, and when I was about to ask my first question, I woke up. I was really confused by that dream, but wished that I had asked my question..

I've only had the one Harry Potter dream, but it was a doozey!

I dreamt that I actually was Harry Potter, and I was at Hogwarts in an outside lesson with the other Gryffindors. We were just clowning around like regular 16 year olds.

The Professor asked me to try a spell he was teaching us, so I pulled my wand out and pointed at him and said 'Faine' and a sparking light came shooting out of the wand. It was fully powerful too because it even made a sort of deep resonating sound and the wand vibrated slightly.

The Professor's body became rigid, sort of like a freezing spell. It happened so graphically though, it was awsome, it felt so real. The other kids were nodding in appreciation and saying things like 'well done'.

So then the spell wore off and the Professor was congatulating me and then I woke up. Sounds bogus now but I felt like a million bucks because it felt so real, that I'd actually done magic!

I've had dreams on and off for the past 20 years where at times I can do great magic (usually with my hands), and they are always so realist that I wake up feeling great!

My latest HP dream was really odd.

My youth group was going to be meeting at Hogwarts instead of where we normally met at. When we arrived we found out that they were going to select two people to interview Dan Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, and Tom Felton. Everyone except me and my friends that listen to everything I say about HP were asking who was getting interviewed. No one knew who they were so they made me stand up and tell everyone who they were. None of the people had ever seen the movies and were really confused. My friend and I were chosen to interview them since we were the only people who knew who was being interviewed. We had to sit with them on a couch like the ones in the Slytherin common room. We started asking our questions when I noticed that Dan, Tom, and Rupert were all staring at me. After we finished interviewing them it was time to leave. Tom, Dan, and Rupert put some sort of spell on me so that I couldn't leave. They made me sleep in the room on requirements so everytime i came back it looked different. We were the only people in Hogwarts. I kept begging them to let me leave and finally they agreed. They let me go under the circumstance that i take a mirror like the one in Beauty and the Beast. After I left i realized that i didn't know where to go so I just went and lived in HOgsmeade.

Then I woke up.

i was able to have a harry potter dream! if i'm not mistaken, i dreamt after i have slept reading OotP...... my dream goes like this, i was walking in the corridors and then i met the trio and then off we go, and then my dream switch into the department of mysteries scene where the order came. i was like invisible and it ws tragic! it's like i was really in the scene watching them! i saw sirius duelling with bellatrix and then everything's a mess! i can see the veil, shots of red and green lights, my heart was beating fast! and after that my aunt woke me up and then i knew that it was just a dream. you know after that it seems that it was just my imagination because when i read the books of course i was imagining the setting itself and it seems like what i was imagining came into my dreams!
i wish what i've dreamt of happens in the fifth film! maybe a prophecy!

I had a short dream a few nights ago.. all i can remember is i was in the weasleys garden and i was having an argument with mr.weasley about the garden as it was really sloping and i was saying that it should be really large and flatter, it didnt look like how i imagined it.
Then we went into a kitchen and my mum made all the weasley children some dinner and they sat outside.

...That was it

I had a dream about Draco Malfoy once....but I agreed to the terms and conditions so that's all I'm allowed to say on here.

Well, actually I've seen about 30 dreams involving Harry Potter or actors that play in it. I've counted them in a diary. I remember pretty much of them...

1) Me and my sister were mail friends with Emma and we were in amusement park when we saw Emma in one attraction. She was with her friend, but soon her friend leaved and left her alone to this attraction. Emma got scared and began to cry. I went closer to her and she saw me. I waved and she looked surprised and then smiled and waved back. She knew I was her mail friend. So I had fun with her in amusement park. After that when I was at home, suddenly I saw a limousine coming to my house. I was so happy when I saw that Emma came and she also brought Daniel with her. So I showed my home and when I started to switch phone numbers with Emma....then the dream ended.

2) I was Hermione and watched it all. Ron and Harry got into a big fight with Draco. They totally beated him up. Draco was very gory after that.

3) I was Hermione. Me and Ron were in Hogsmeade and we were on a top of one small mountain. We watched around when Ron kind of clomped and we both rolled down the mountain, cleaved to each other. When we were down, it ended. Ohhh I loved that dream!!!

4) Well one was that I was at my friend's house when I saw dementor from a window. I totally freaked out!!!

5) Well, Sirius was a maniac and wanted to kill Hermione with a big gun. It was very crazy dream. Harry protected Hermione and it also involved Fudge and McGonagall.

6) I was best friends with Daniel, we were at the same grade and did every kind of pranks in classes. It was so much fun.

Well, I'm too lazy to write more, but I have pretty crazy dreams. And I've seen so much characters in my dreams:

well almost everytime i fall asleep reading harry potter i dream about it... nothing odd i just dream what i read but insted of being harry i'm myself in wizarding world as harry

I just had a Harry Potter dream last night.
I dreamt that me, three of my friends, and my uncle had been transported to Hogwarts except that we weren't allowed in the school. We couldn't go in until we had gone through all seven years at hogwarts(that makes no sense because you have to be inside to learn?). Anyways, everytime students came outside we all ran to the doors and tried to get in but the doors knew that we were coming so they would shut. One day Dumbledore, McGonagal, Lupin, and Snape all came out and said "we have been watching you for many years and have decided that you may finally come in. The only thing is that you will have to sleep in the Owlery". We didn't care at first because we were just happy to be able to go in. Are life inside the castle was just as worse when we had been outside of the castle.

Then i woke up and was very confused.

what a surreal dream, slytherinlvr!! LOL

Funny, I had a dream about it last night too, and the only part I can remember is Daniel (not Harry??) gave me something special to help me out (cant remember what though0 and it was so sweet because when I put my hand on his cheek (in a friendly way) and said thanks, he blushed furiously, and stuttered that it was okay. It was so incerdibly sweet, and I thought, what a great kid! And I woke up with a huge gin on my face *sigh* nice to wake up like that.

I know I've had dreams about Harry Potter before but I haven't had any in at least a year. The only one I half-remember is one I had over 7 years ago, the year before I went to secondary school. In it I recieved a Hogwarts letter and I was really excited, I was going to go to Hogwarts! Then being the over-imaginative 11 year old that I was I actually spend most of the summer waiting for my letter. I still haven't got it. Maybe the owl got lost.
And I know I had another one with Harry in it but that's all I remember. I'm very bad at remembering dreams, I remember them for the first 5 seconds I'm awake but then I forget it and can only recall odd scenes.

Wow. I've had plenty of weird dreams which involved Harry Potter, but this one is by far the strangest.

In my dream, I walked down my stairs one evening after being awoken in the middle of the night by strange noises and voices coming from my kitchen. I went to investigate and found Harry and Ron (the images that I thought of from reading the book, not the movie actors) in my kitchen, making apple crisp. They were peeling the apples and throwing the scraps at each other and just having a grand old time. I watched them for a long time, and then I helped them with the recipe because they kept messing it up.

I swear, it was the weirdest thing. I cannot figure it out...Apple crisp, of all things!

i am positive i have had a dream about Harry Potter ! . . . i just can't remember it. Probably because i can never remember any of my dreams the next morning. But i know i've had them because often times i go to sleep thinking about Harry Potter, and waking up with the essence of Harry Potter in my mind.

I do remember having Harry Potter dreams, but since most of them happened a long time ago, I don't really remember.

But the latest one I remember was a dream of Remus crying... it broke my heart, since I'm so fond of him. All I know is that this was before Tonks. I just felt it.

I had this dream the night before. It's very complicted and I can't remember all of it...So, it started like this...

Harry and I are talking in a room. It's kinda odd. Then Harry's face change...it change into a face of Voldemort like JKR mentioned, except it has a very pointed chin and it's not white in colour...the face is green, with very very gleaming red eyes, and a small body wearing black clothing... I was scared, I need to tell the real Harry Voldemort is nearby!

Voldemort could not hurt me because I'm protected, I knew I had to tell Harry and my other friends that danger is near! But I can't say it out loud, I had to say it in whispers. (This is the part I don't understand.) So, when I was telling my friend, CH, about this, I saw a small boy, with straw coloured hair, watching me. I knew at once it was Voldemort bearing that resemblence. So, I was like using my normal voice to talk about maths and I keep whispering that Voldemort is here to CH.

Later, I sat down between (I can't remember!). Then I woke up!!!

I know it's very complicated... But I just couldn't understand why I dreamt that Voldemort has a green face and a small body...eerie...

hm... i had a dream where draco was flying on a broom outside our school and everybody was watching him and then he was going out with two of my friends that's all

I had this dream that I was in a castle and it looks like Hogwarts in Harry Potter movies. I was outside the castle so I knew it was Hogwarts. I don't know what I;m doing there but my dream ended.

Then I have this dream that I have a wand and I'm using Lumos as the spell. I was reading my diary in that dream and it's so dark. Then a person entered, I don't know who is he but I hit him with a magic using the wand. I can't really recall but it was cool.

The only Harry Potter dream I can remember having was before the new movie, Goblet of Fire came out. I dreamt that they had completely screwed up the plot for the movie. Harry decided that he was actually going to enter the Triwizard Tournament. But the selection process --- it was screwed up --- it was like a sort of combination popularity contest/lottery. And Crabbe was chosen as one of the participants in the Tournament.

I often dream of Harry Potter, almost every night....

And in the half of these dreams, Harry die.

Sadist? Yes! It seems that I like to see dying my favorites characters!

haha I like this thread Its really interesting to read all of your crazy dreams! and also good to know Im not the only one so obsessed that I dream about the world of harry potter.

I always dream about it when I go to bed reading harry potter, and i normally do that when I can't sleep so last night I read some of the order of the pheonix and I consequently had a very strange dream. I dreamt that I was harry (werird because Im a girl) and Ron, Hermione and I were running to get to voldemort but the other two got left behind and I ran into this huge room expecting to see Voldemort but there was just a little girl crying. Then it turned into him and we were duelling and I remember feeling really nervous, but so angry.


Then some guy from nowhere shouted 'Cut!' and it turned out we'd been filming all along.. weird how dreams can suddenly turn isn't it?

its preety funny though because just last night i had an hp dream and the night before..but i couldnt really remember most of it..i can just remember that i was spending my day in the castle and some of my friends were also there...but i think its just natural because i spent last night watching hp reading hp fanfics reading the actual hp book and browsing over this site..

^^ lol, I once did dreaming myself , walking down on one of the Hogwarts corridors using hogwarts robes and I'm ike one of the students... I can't really remember what house I was in but I think I was in Gryffindor... lol can't remeber much, it happened like 3 years ago!

I usually have frequent HP dreams, but they always fall into one of three categories:

1) I follow the Trio around (as a specter- no one ever notices me) and watch them just as it was written in the books.

2) I follow the Trio around as before (only now I am a real human) and towards the end of the dream, someone in the Trio (usually Hermione) realizes that I am there and lets me help them defeat Voldemort.

3) I am a member of the Trio from the beginning (making it a Quartet), so there are three boys and one girl; two brainiacs, an idiot, and the Hero!

I had a weird dream that I was Hermione (it was really weird) and there was ANOTHER ball and I had to go with Harry and Ron because they couldn't get dates so I had to go with both of them lol. and it wasn't actually even in hogwarts the ball was on this street that I deliver newspapers on it was REALLY WEIRD and Harry and Ron all had to stand there because I could only dance with one at a time and I really didn't know how so I just made it up. And all the people laughed at me because I was bad at it. It was a really weird dream

I have HP dreams, but I don't usually remember specifics. I never used to have them until I started writing fanfics. Now I sometimes wonder if my brain isn't trying to help me work out plot details or something.

I dreamed about Cedric the same night I watched the GOF movie. I've seen it twice...I've dreamed him twice
