The Happy Dementor
So....if you think that the books would be more interesting from anothers point of view here is the place to say. If you fall under the very large catagory of Other or just think the story is best based on Harry please state who and why. Of course if you do agree with any of the above say why so we know why this character amuses/intrests/disturbs/or what ever else you.

Personally I think the books would be more interesting if they were viewed through Nagini's eyes because she is a snake and snakes rock, and speask parseltongue and slither and have scales and everything! biggrin.gif .
GO NAGINI!! SHE ROCKS!!!!!!!!

I get alot of wierd looks......

Without any shadow of a doubt, Draco Malfoy. I'm sick of seeing everything from the good side, I want to know what it was like for Draco growing up, how his parents treated him, how he met Crabbe and Goyle - I want to see the pureblood families interact. We know Bellatrix taught Draco Occlumency, so they must have had a connection, and I would have loved to explore that.

Draco is a more interesting character, with a much more interesting life.
The Happy Dementor
I get what you mean. Life through the eyes of the good side gets a bit old. Whats wrong with evil geniuses? Nothing! laugh.gif

AAAHHHHHH I forgot Luna!!!!!!! Smell dry.gif I bet loads would enoy it from Luna's point of view...shes a bit different. imagine seeing a car and thinking it was a snorckack or a blibering humdinger. laugh.gif

ahhhh Luna has it all.......
Sister to the Dark Lord
I chose Snape because Snape has a very tragic and action-packed life that would keep me, at least, on the edge of my seat. Also, Severus's POV would give us an exculsive and inside look at the Marauders, Lily, and other adult characters. I say the Marauders because he is being constantly pranked by them, and would soon learn their favorite methods, accessories, etc. Long Live Sev!

OOOh no. Luna is too weird for me, I would have been happier had JK Rowling cut her out of all the books, she really annoys me :\ I don't see what effect she really has on anything, apart from making most of the characters feel uncomfortable a lot of the time.

Ahh yes! Snape would be a brilliant character to follow, I would have loved to know more about his love for Lily, and exactly what happened to him. Which also brings me on to the point that Bellatrix would be a nice character to follow too.
The Fifth Marauder
Most definately Draco. I mean, same story line, but as if he is seeing it. That would be awesome to see how he feels about everything. What are his TRUE feelings? Is he really "evil" in a sense? It would be brilliant to hear his point of view.

laugh.gif Yeah....I know what you mean. Makes others feel embarassed at the worst times. Its kind of amusing though the way she just doesn't care...or mabey she does. We'll never know though because harry is not Luna! laugh.gif

I can see why Bellatrix would be interesting. It would be cool to know a bit more about her past aswell. She and Rodolphus, especialy Rodolphus are never shown with any independent emotion. Its always them serving Voldy... rolleyes.gif well i suppose that is what makes them deatheaters.

Go Nagini!

I don't even think it registers in her mind!

Ahh yeah, I would love to know how the fall out with her sister went and what it was like growing up in that household, how she met Rodolphys etc. I think I read somewhere that JK said they never really loved eachother. I reckon it was just a pureblood marriage, to keep up appearances as Bellatrix's true love is Voldemort x]

laugh.gif Yeah...it would be cool to read it from her POV just imagine all the dark stuff she must have been involved in to win Voldy's trust. biggrin.gif Oooooooo! And the torture of the Longbottoms! I never felt we got enough info on that....

Yeeessss......... Bella was a kind of middle-ground character. She wasnt at the front with Harry, Ron and Hermione etc, but she isnt way back like Colin Creevey etc.
The Happy Dementor
mmmmmm....I get what you mean. Although I would say she were nearer the back of there middle. The Weasely's and the order claim the majority of the middle. Even though I think the Weasleys rock it would be better to have a change from the beaten track.

The Fifth Marauder
I guess so. I think the point of view of one of the pets would be good. To see the inner thoughts of Crookshanks or Nagini would be very interesting.
The Happy Dementor
yeah! I know! Like imagine being in hedwig right and....your flying right.....and you see EVERYTHING!

I agree with this point about the "good side" and I considered EvilGeniusDraco!, but ultimately I would like to read the series from Luna’s POV. It would be interesting because she is so uncompromisingly (brutally) honest. It would be refreshing to see the "good side" called out on their sometimes less-than-"good" actions (Hermione intentionally leading Umbridge to the Centaurs; Ginny hexing Smith on the train and ramming into him for his Quidditch commentary; Harry performing an Unforgiveable because McGonagall was insulted etc.). Rather than a polarized POV from either GoodThickHarry or EvilGeniusDraco!, Luna would provide a more objective view of both.
The Fifth Marauder
Yeah! Go Draco! He would be a much better main!

Mmmmm.....Luna's unrestrained honesty would provide an accurate and amusing POV.
The Fifth Marauder
Yeah, but Draco is the kinda antagonist here. =) He might have some interesting inner thoughts to!!
-Snape-
Snape's life and character is much more complete than Harry's.
I would have loved to know more about Snape and see what he could do and his life personnal experimentations. I wonder why JKR wouldn't make a book about Snape, really ! This character is unique and very special to me and many of us.
The Happy Dementor
yeah if we saw it from Snapes POV then we might have a chance of truely understanding the depth of his love and pain and all of those weird feelings he must have for Harry. Should he hate him? Should he not? Poor Snape...plus we would get a detailed revelation about Lily and a close up of his relationship with James. We would know about his childhood problems and his parents divorce and how Dumbledore made him go all "i am evil but i'm not really!" and how he felt about that and...and...and...i've run out of words but I'm sure all those Snape lovers out there will understand. biggrin.gif
bigkisses13
i choose draco. it would be really interesting to see the story from his point of view. he was there for almost everything so we would experience a lot of the same events but it would be really cool to see how someone on the other side deals. and i would love to know what that boys thinking.
PotterIsTheChosenOne
I was so close not to vote on this poll because I think Harry being the main character is good. I chose Snape because I want to know more about his life before Hogwarts happy.gif
