This is just a random idea that came into my head one day and i think that Snape wouldn't be this cruel as a father but i think its more fun for me to write like this (I have a weird and sick sense of humour).

Chapter one

Lily hugged her son as Snape glared over the heads of the crowd.
"Mum. I'll be fine," Harry assured his mother for the tenth time.
"See you at hogwarts, Harry. If your not in Slytherin, I'll curse you," was his father's way of saying goodbye.
"Sev. Harry, it doesn't matter what house you are in," Lilly reprimanded her husband. Snape led Lily out of earshot of Harry and started having a fierce argument with her.
"JAMES POTTER!" Harry jumped as his father suddenly yelled over the station.
"We've had a discussion and we think it would be best if you were in Slytherin," Lily told Harry, who had worked out as much. Harry gave his father a quick hug and leapt onto the train closely followed by a red haired boy who had been standing next to them on the platform. Harry sat down in the first empty compartment he could find, and the red head followed him.
"I'm Harry. Harry Snape," Harry introduced himself and wondered vaugely why the boy seemed so scared at the mention of his surname.
"I'm Ron. Ron Weasley," the boy seemed to be looking at Harry with a kind of admiration. Now really confused, Harry blurted out
"Why did you flinch when I told you my surname?"
"What? Oh. My brothers say Snapes not the nicest person in the world."
"Oh. He's alright when you get to know him. Really." Harry added as Ron had made a sceptical noise. They made small talk like this until they were inturrupted by a distressed girl with bushy brown hair.
"What happened to you?" Harry and Ron said in unison.
The girl calmed down enough to say that she had had a run in with some boys hoping to be in Slytherin, who had called her a mudblood, again and again. Harry and Ron's faces drained of colour.
"What did they look like?" was Harry's first question as he knew that Lucius Malfoy's son who, because of their fathers unfortunate freindship, he had been forced to spend a lot of unwanted time together, Draco had been hoping to go to Slyhterin.

I'll post again later, but i have to go back to skl now.

"He had a thin, pale, pointed face and a rather drawling voice," the girl managed to choke out as she was still trying to regulate her breathing.
"I know who he is," Harry informed the waiting pair. The girl looked shocked that Harry knew someone like him and Ron looked midly surprised.
"So? Who is he?" Ron urged Harry.
"Draco Malfoy." Ron's face darkened somewhat at this and Harry guessed he was thinking of the stories that still circulated about the Malfoy's and their alligance to Voldemort, a great dark wizard who had vanished 9 years ago.
"How do you know him?" the girl asked, intruiged.
"Our parents are best freinds. Don't worry, we hate each other. He's not very nice."
"I'm Hermione. Hermione Granger." The girl introduced herself and shoke hands with Harry and Ron.
"I'm Harry and this is Ron."They were inturuppted at this point by the lunch trolley rattling past. After eating their way through pumpkin pasties, cauldron cakes and chocolate frogs, the compartment door slid open revealing Draco Malfoy standing in the doorway.
"Harry," Malfoy said, staring at Harry.
"Draco," Harry replied with just as much loathing in his voice.
"Is that a Weasley?" Malfoy asked, now staring at Ron. "Your dad will be so mad at you."
"Only if he finds out."
"Oh, he will."
"You wouldn't dare," said Harry, standing up and pulling out his wand.
"I would," said Malfoy, also pulling out his wand. Ron leapt between the pair of them.
"Now let's just calm down. Come on. Do some yoga with me," Ron made a feeble attempt to stop the battle he could see coming. He sat on the floor, cross legged, shut his eyes and started to hum. Hermione bent over him and clicked her fingers in front of his face. Nothing. Harry and Malfoy took advantage of his momentary absence and started to fight. In reality, this meant Malfoy shooting a lot of curses at Harry and Harry casting the shield charm his mother has made him learn after he had accidentally dyde Snape's hair pink. Ron, hearin the commotion, sat up and immediatly got knocked out by a Stunning spell meant for
Harry.
"What's going on, what's going on?" Another red haired boy fought his way into the compartment, a prefect's badge pinned to his chest. "STOP!" He yelled over the bangs of the fight. Harry and Malfoy lowered their wands, looking around at the partially destroyed compartment and the lumps on the floor that were Ron, Hermione and Malfoy's two thick set cronies.
"Haven't I seen you before?" The newcomer asked of Harry.
"No," Harry replied bluntly.
"Your professor Snape's son," comprehension was dawning on the prefect's face.
"Yes."
"Then - um - nothing. Though you two shouldn't be in the same room together by the looks of things. You -" he pointed at Malfoy. "Go. Go on."
"Crabbe. Goyle." The two henchman left as soon as they were told to. The boy watched them go and then turned to the mess that used to resemble a compartment. With a wave of his wand, everything repaired itself and, satisfied by what he saw, he turned and left.
"Wow. That's the first time I think I've ever seen Percy turn down the opportunity to uphold rules," Ron said, getting up off the floor and dragging Hermione with him.
"He's your brother?" Hermione asked, wiping the dust off the front of her jacket.
"Yep. He was so pleased when he recieved his prefect's badge that he's done nothing but go on about it all summer. He's SO annoying."
"He sounds it," Harry said, stiiting down and helping himself to some Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans. "Pepper." He added as an afterthought. The rest of the journey passed pleasently enough, Ron questioning Harry about Snape and Ron and Harry assuring Hermione that she would be absoulutly fine at school, a feeling shared by both due to the fact that Hermione, who had now told the tale of her run in with Malfoy, had not had to ask anyone what a mudblood was and knew the story of the Boy Who Lived.

Mod Edit: You've been told before that cursing is never permitted. I have, once again, had to delete it from your post. If you are unsure of the Rules then please read them again.

"Snape, Harry!" Professor Mcgonagall called Harry's name over the crowd of anxious looking first-years.
"Snape!" The cry was repeated on all sides but the Weasley twins cry of
"Snape as a father!" came loudest of all. Harry, cringing from all the mutterings as he walked to the stool, heard his father clear his throat very pointedly and all muttering stopped. The Sorting hat dropped over his eyes and almost instantly the hat cried
"GRYFFINDOR!" Harry sat frozen on the stool, remembering his fathers parting words
"If your not in Slytherin, I'll curse you."
"PLEASE DON'T CURSE ME!" these words left Harry's mouth without his concious thought, they echoed around the now silent hall. Professors Dumbledore and Mcgonagall seemed to be the only two people who realised what Harry meant. With a look of dawning comprehension on her face, she looked from the cowering boy on the stool, to Professor Snape, who was still spluttering over his Pumpkin juice.
"Severus." He looked up as she called his name and took the jerk of her head in the direction of the Entrance Hall to mean that she wanted a private word with him. As the tiny little Professor Flitwick ran forwards to finish the sorting, Harry left the hat on the stool and walked to the Gryfffindor table, trying to ignore the fresh outbrake of mutterings and stares that followed his progress.
"HE'S MY SON!" Snape's voice suddenly sounded as clear as though he had been standing in the room with them. He and Professor Mcgonagall seemed to be having a fierce argument. Everyone in the hall was staring at Harry again, who felt himself grow red.
"Could this be anymore embarrassing?" Harry asked Ron and Hermione, who he had sat down next to.
"Only if-" Hermione broke off as a voice behind Harry snarled
"Harry. I need you." Severus had reentered the hall and had moved over to Harry soundlessly.
"That." Hermione finished her sentance.
"But dad-" Harry looked up into the murderous face of his father and decided against finishing his sentance. He got up and swung his leg over the bench."I think it would be better if I AHH!" Severus had grabbed the back of Harry's robes and was dragging him along in his wake, towards the entrance hall.
"Dad, I can walk, you know." For a reply, Severus just grunted. Everyone was now following the pair of them, looking surprised at how at ease Harry looked, as though being dragged along behind your father on your back was something that happened every day.
"My, you are really angry. I don't think you've ever dragged me this fast before," Harry remarked calmly, still examining his fingernails.
"Are you complaining?" Severus asked through gritted teeth.
"No. Mind the OW-" Harry shouted as Severus dragged him over an uneven bit of floor. "brick."
Dumbledore was glaring after Harry and Severus but, when he saw they had made it to the entrance hall, turned back to the waiting students and all trace of anger had left him.
"Now. On with the feast." He sat back down, threw his long, silver beard over his shoulder and began to eat. Ron let out a clearly audible "Finally!" and he, to, sank his teeth into the pile of food that had appeared. Only those two seemed to eat, as everyone else was still in shock at what had happened. Slowly, a bable of talk broke out and, one by one, the rest of the school began to eat to. It was as if everyone had forgotten the bizzare events that had happened before, until
"I MEANT YES!" Everyone looked up, startled, as Harry's voice, broke out over the hubbub that was filling the hall. A few words of undistinguishable mutterings in Severus' voice, and "Ooo" from Harry, and the entrance hall appeared silent again. Dumbledore dismissed them and Ron and Hermione practically ran to the Entrance Hall to see their friend. Harry was sat on the floor between Severus and Mcgonagall, looking rather bored with the proceddings.
"Harry are you-" Hermione began but Harry put up a hand to silence her. He held up three fingers, put one down and put the next two down as well.
"JAMES POTTER!" Severus cried, excatly when Harry put his third finger down.
"James Potter? James Potter? What's he got to do with anything?" Mcgonagall cried, putting an end to all hopes of a conversation. Jarry beckoned Ron and Hermione closer and Hermione said loudly
"Are you coming?"
"No," Harry replied, sadly.
"Why not, mate?" Ron asked, intreguied.
"Cause he'd curse me, think up a really evil and painful punishment and he has a lot of imagination with those, and curse me again, just for good measure."
"We get it, you can't come." Hermione said.
"he really needs to do some yoga," Ron said, staring at Severus.
"Hermione."
"I'm on it," Hermione seized Ron's wrist and dragged him off to the marble staircase.

At ten o'clock, Mcgonagall and Severus seemed to come to their senses. They stopped yelling at each other and looked down at Harry, curled up on the floor between them, fast asleep. Mcgonagall bent over him, shook him awake and said
"You can go now." Harry looked up at his father, who nodded.
"Finally," Harry said, getting to his feet.
"Don't push your luck, boy." Severus snarled at him.
"I'm going, I'm going!" Harry cried, running off up the marble staircase.

The minute Harry entered the common room, the circular tower room fell deadly silent.
"Ignore it, just ignore it," Ron and Hermione whispered into Harry's ear, as they could see him tensing.
"Come on, let me introduce you to Fred and George," Ron grabbed Harry and pulled him over to the Weasley twins, closely followed by Hermione.
"Do I need introducing?" Harry asked as he staggered after Ron, not bothering to resist.
"Fred, George, this is Harry and Hermione," Ron ignored Harry and the fact that the whole common room was listening to his attempt to restart the place again.
"Hey Harry. Hermione," Fred inclined his head to both of them.
"So. Harry. Do tell. What's Snape like as a father?" In George's eyes, freindly hellos could wait for the time being.
"He's alright. He's quite nice. Most of the time," Harry told the waiting common room.
"Snape? Nice? There's two words I never thought I'd hear in the same sentance," a boy with dreadlocks, sitting next to Fred and George said, while the common room nodded in aggrement.
"Oh. Yeah. Harry, Hermione, this is Lee." George made the introduction.
"Anyway," Fred said before Harry or Hermione could say anything, "is he actually nice? Or are you just pulling some joke?"
"What? No. He's actually really nice."
"Yet nasty enough to drag his own son accross the Great Hall."
"You saw that?"
"Harry, everyone saw that. It hardly went unnoticed," Hermione informed him.
"Oh. He's nice. He just has a very very very very very very very very short temper. VERY short temper."
"He ever you know cursed you, at all?"
"A couple of times."
"What happened?"
"Some stuff. He made me swear never to tell anyone though."
"Why did he stop?" Random people from all over the room were asking questions now, and Harry found himself hardly caring at all.
"Mum found out."
"Why did that stop him?" someone near the fireplace asked.
"She, remarkably, knows some pretty painful curses, from the looks of things."
"Who's your mum?"
"Lily Evans."
"Oh." The common room said in unison, all turning their heads at the same time.
"What?" Hermione and a few other confused first years asked.
"Lily Evans is Professor Potter's love. The only woman he has ever loved. Apparantly, he was really cut up when she went with Snape." Fred informed the room at large.
"Oh, I was." Everyone turned to stare at the portrait hole where Professor Potter stood framed against the doorway. "You'll be Snivellus' son," he added to Harry.
"Yes."
"Yes, sir."
"Yes, sir." The entire common room was listening with confused expressions to this conversation. "You'll be a whizz at Potions like them, I guess." Harry shrugged, not really sure what he was supposed to say. "I suspected you might be in Slytherin, when I heard your name read out, because of your father, you know. But your much more like your mother, apparently, being in Gryffindor and all that. Your father got a bit of a shock, though. Please Don't curse me[i]! That's a good one. The last I knew, Snivellus couldn't curse any one to save his life." Potter adopted a high pitched voice when mimecking Harry.
"Is there a problem?" Potter turned and Harry saw, with a sinking heart, his father in the doorway.
"Get out of here, Snivellus. This is my house, you see."
"But that's my son your talking to."
"So talking's against the law now, is it?"
"No. But this is the exact reason I didn't want Harry in Gryffindor."
"Dad," Harry groaned, knowing this wouldn't end well.
"You can't stop him being who he is. Apparently, he's not as vile as you."
"Have you taken a look at his eyes, yet, Potter?" Potter turned, looked into Harry's emerald green, almond shaped eyes, the only feature of Lily on his face, let out a noise like a wounded animal, turned on Severus and started to fight. Harry groaned. This was the second argument over him in the space of four hours, though, admittedly, the first had been a lot more vocal. It was when, half an hour later, a sandy haired boy got hit by a Stunner meant for Severus, they stopped.
"Night, Harry." Severus bid his son farewell and left.
"Night dad." Harry replied, gloomily. Potter left without another word. Slowly, the students gathered around the walls crept up to bed. Harry found, with his other first years, that their dormitory was at the top of Gryffindor tower. Silently, they got in to bed, none of them looking at or talking to Harry, except for Ron.
"Don't worry, mate. When people get over the shock of a teacher having a son, it'll be alright. You'll see," Ron consoled his freind, who he could hardly see in the moonlight comming from the open window. Harry grunted, rolled onto his back and was instantly asleep.
snape_rox_my_socks
The next morning, they got changed in silence. The famous Neville Longbottom, had lost his toad, Trevor. Again. Dean Thomas in the bed opposite Harry had put up a West Ham football team poster and Seamus Finnegan, the sandy haired boy who had got hit by the stunner the night before, was puzziling, along with Ron, why the people didn't move. Harry had seen muggle photos before, due to the fact that his mother, Lily was a muggle born, but Ron and Seamus wer determined to find out exactly why as they just didn't wasn't an acceptable reason in their eyes.
Harry and Ron met up with Hermione in the common room and made their way to the Great Hall. The post owls entered the hall, bringing no news from Lily, not that Harry had expected any. Professor Mcgonagall was moving down the table handing out timetables. She thrust Harry's at him, and Harry supposed she was still angry about the night before.
"Double Potions!" Harry groaned and put his head in his hands.
"But Potions will be alright, won't it? I mean, your his son," Hermione said tentativly.
"That won't stop him." They got up and made their way to the dungeons and joined the line outside the door. "I mean, it will be alright if he's in a good mood." The door opened, revealing a livid Snape. "Which he isn't." The class filed in and as Harry passed, Snape grabbed his shoulder.
"Just because your my son doesn't mean I'll give you special treatment," Snape whispered in Harry's ear.
"Didn't think it would," Harry replied, wincing as his fathers nails bit into his shoulder. Snape let Harry go and marched into the dugeons.

I'll add more later, but I ahve to go now.
snape_rox_my_socks
Harry heard his father slam the dungeon door and everyone fell silent. Snape swept to the front of the room and began taking the register. When he got to Neville's name, he stopped.
"Ah, yes. Neville Longbottom. Our new celebrity," he said softly. Harry threw Malfoy (who was sitting on the same table as him) a look full of loathing and recived one in return.
Snape got to his feet, and surveyed the class.
"You are here to learn the subtle science and exact art of potion-making," he started, luckily not looking at Harry, who was mouthing the words to his speech behind his back. "As there is little foolish wand-waving here, many of you will hardly believe this is magic. I don't expect many of you will really understand the beauty of the softly simmering cauldron with its shimmering fumes, the delicate power of liquids that creep through human veins, bewitching the mind and ensnaring the senses... I can tell you how to bottle fame, brew glory, even put a stopper in death - if you aren't as big a bunch of dunderheads as I usually have to teach." Snape stopped speaking, and took a moment to glare at Harry, before starting again. "Today, you will be making a simple potion to cure boils. You have one hour and twenty minutes. Begin." There was a scrambling as everyone started to move, at the same time, to the store cupboard, to collect what they needed, for the method had just appeared on the board. Harry. however, didn't need to look at the board once, as he had known this potion of by heart for years. Within five minutes of being told to start, Harry had finished.
"How did you do that so quickly?" Ron asked, staring at Harry's perfect potion.
"Ron, I've been able to make this poton since I was three," Harry replied, with an air of one stating the obvious.
"How come?" Harry just stared at him while Hermione said
"Don't tell me you can't answer that one yourself."
"You know why?" Harry asked, caught totally of gaurd.
"Of course I know why."
"Perfect. As usual," Snape said, grudingly, nodding down at Harry's potion as a loud hissing noise and a lot of green smoke filled the room, coming from the table just behind Harry. Neville had managed to melt Seamus' cauldron and Harry thought he knew how.
"You added the porcupine quills before you toke the cauldron of the fire, didn't you?" Harry turned round in his seat to ask Neville, who simply moaned as boils erupted all over face.
"It's my classroom, so it is therefore my authority to tell people off, Snape," Harry fought to keep a straight face when he heard his father calling him by his surname. Snape turned to Seamus. "You'd better take him up to the hospital wing." he snapped. "Homework, which, Snape, you can start now seeing as your already finished, an essay on what can go wrong in the making of this potion, at least ten inches." With that, Snape started to march around the class again, occasionally telling a student to get on with their work, as at least half the clss were staring at Harry as he started to pull parchment and quills out of his bag, feeling happier than he had done at the beginning of the lesson, because he had heard a definite note of pride in his father's voice as he gave out the homework.
As he folded his parchment in half at the end of the lesson, he saw Ron goggling at the lengthy piece clutched in his hands.
"How have you managed to write so much?" Ron asked, incredulous.
"Easy. I'm not even halfway through yet," Harry replied, as Ron looked even more shocked.
"Harry! You coming or not?" Malfoy called him from the dungeon door.
"I'm just coming, Draco!" Harry called back, grabbing his two freinds by the elbows and steering them to the door before they could ask any questions in front of Snape. At the door, Harry and Malfoy threw their arms around each others shoulders, careful not to let Snape see the look of disgust on their faces. As soon as they were in the entrance hall, they jumped apart with cries of "I can't believe I had to touch you!" Harry made his way up the marble staircase to Transfiguration with the other Gryffindors.
snape_rox_my_socks
Professor McGonagall opened the door and pointed the class inside. They shuffled past her in silence and Harry, Ron and Hermione sat at a table in the middle of the room.
"Transfiguration," she began. She seemed to have calmed down after the fight the night before, or had at least accepted that it was hardly Harry's fault. "Could possibly be one of the most complex and difficult magic you will come accross in your time at Hogwarts. I can only hope that you can all grasp the basic concepts of the art." With that, she turned her desk into a pig and back again. They all leant forwards, eager to get started, but realised that they wouldn't be doing anything like that until OWL level. They took down some complicated and confusing notes on the most basic of transfigurations (turning matches into needles) and then set about doing the thing itself. Hermione was the only person to succed in this, though Dean thought his had definitely gone silver.

The bell went and Harry, Ron and Hermione fought their way through the corridors for their Defence Against the Dark Arts lesson.
"So," Ron started as he pushed past a couple of second year slytherins. "Are you going to tell us?"
"Tell you what?" Harry asked, confused.
"What happened in Snape's dungeon with you and Malfoy," Hermionesaid.
"Oh, that. Well, dad and Lucius are really good friends and we've been seeing each other at least once a year since we were 1. We've hated each other from the word go, but our dads haven't noticed. Mum and Cissy have though."
"So you and Malfoy pretend to be best friends in front of your fathers to be spared painful curses?" Hermione asked, to calrify the matter.
"Got it in one."
"Lucius? Cissy?" Ron turned to stare at Harry, forgetting that if they didn't move, they'd be late.
"Malfoy's parents. Move Ron." They started to move again (Harry trying to ignore the way everyone stopped to stare at him as he passed. He seemed to be attracting more attention has he moved through the school than Neville was, something of an achievement, seen as neville was the Boy Who Lived) and reached the Defence Against the Dark Arts room. DADA was the lesson Harry had been dreading most, as he knew the emnity between his father and Potter was to great for him to have any hope of redemtion. They joined the queue outside just as the door opened. Harry felt Potter's glare on him. Indeed, the teacher didn't take his eyes off Harry until he had to. They took down notes on the Dark Arts and how to fight them. The worst part of this lesson came when Harry got a detention. He had been talking to Ron and Potter had seen. He walked over to them, told Harry off for not doing his work, put him in detention and walked away. Harry, although angered by the unfairness of this, knew it would be pointless to argue. The bell rang and Harry, Ron and Hermione made their way down the marble staircase to lunch. Potter had left the classroom first, to everyone's astonishment, but Harry discovered the reason sooner than he thought. Potter had evidently taken it upon himself to tell Severus that his son was in detention on his first day. At the top of the marble staircase, Harry saw Potter and his father standing 3 feet apart, shouting at each other.
"Oh, no," Harry groaned and tried to go back the way he had come, but Severus had already spotted him.
"HARRY!" Harry heard his father yell and before he had even turned around, he felt himself flying backwards through the air towards his father. Harry stood facing his father and sat down on the floor when he realised Severus just wanted him as a witness. Hermione passed him a cornish pastie on her way up to the gryffindor common room and offered to get his books for him. The bell rang and Harry got to his feet.
"Why did I need to be here?" He asked Severus, but regretted it at once. There was a bang, a flash of silver light, and pus started coming from out of Harry's nose. At a nod from his father, Harry turned and ran up the marble staircase, becoming aware as he did so that he was late for charms. Harry entered the charms classroom, one hand clamped over his nose, muttered a hurried apoplogy to Professor Flitwick (who seemed to understand why he was late) and sat down next to Ron and Hermione, uncomfortably aware of everyone's eyes on him, including Flitwick's who seemed to be most interested in Harry. When Harry removed his hand from his nose to retrive his books from his bag which Hermione had passed him, he heard several gasps and a couple of screams from his classmates. Harry hurridely replaced his hand, with a murmur of "It's nothing to worry about."
"Nothing to worry about?" Hermione repeated, stunned. "Harry, there is pus coming out of your nose."
"You think I haven't noticed?" Harry retorted as tiny professor Flitwick came bobbing over to help.
"Go to the hospital wing and get Madam Pomfrey to help you out, Snape. You won't be missing much, we're only doing the theory today."
Harry got up, left the room, and sprinted the rest of the way to the hospital wing.
"What's the problem?" Madam Pomfrey came bustling out of her office towards Harry. For an answer, Harry removed his hand. Whatever Madam Pomfrey had been expecting, it wasn't that. She leapt back and collided painfully with the end of the bed behind her. Cursing under her breath, she pulled out her wand and tapped Harry's nose. The flow of pus stopped, his face was clean and Madam Pomfrey asked no further questions. Harry sped back to charms, took his place between Ron and Hermione and found he was able to read through the notes everyone was silently copying down from the board and understand them without having to ask any questions, something that only Hermione seemed to be able to do. He caught up with the rest of the class quickly and was able to answer Flitwick's questions on the Wingardium Leviosa spell with perfect ease, his hand only just beating Hermione's into the air with every question.

I'll update soon! In the mean time, please leave feedback

The most boring lesson by far was History of Magic. The entire class was in a stupor in the first 5 minutes, with the exception of Harry and Hermione. No-one was surprised to see that Hermione could withstand the soporific power of Professor Binns' voice. Harry surprised everyone by being able to take notes with ease. The brainiacs that his parents had been seemed to be showing in their son. Harry, however, wanted nothing more than to fall asleep like the rest of the class, but his brain wouldn't let him. An hour and a half later the bell rang and the class left at once, no-one wanting to spend more time in the ghosts' presence than they had to.
"Well," Ron said as they struggled down the Marble staircase for dinner. "That was a complete waste of time."
"It wasn't!" Hermione said in an indignant voice. "I found the life of Emeric the Evil quite fascinating, didn't you Harry?"
"No," Harry replied, firmly. "By the end of it I was wishing I could just fall into a stupor like everyone else. I mean, who cares if Emeric the Evil fought Glinda the Good and killed her and the story that the muggles made up about her was partly based on truth? Excepting the fact that she had done her share of evil in her time and her fight with Emeric was her first since rehabilitation?
"I care. It's interesting to find out about our ansectors and how their wars affected us." Hermione said as they sat down. Harry started eating his shepherds pie, not sure if he still had a detention with Potter that night. At a nudge from Hermione, he looked over his shoulder and found Severus facing him, a deep cut on his forehead.
"Harry, I have talked with Professor Potter and you will not have to do your detention," Snape informed him.
"Fought with him, more like," Harry said, under his breath so that Severus wouldn't hear him.
"Your mother wishes me to inform you that getting a detention on your first day with a teacher who will hate you because of reasons beyond your control is very irresponsible." With that, he turned on his heel and left, leaving a small trail of blood from the cut on his head. Harry turned back to his food and found everyone staring at him. He got up and left, without finishing, Ron and Hermione running after him.
They returned to the common room and retrived their bags from the corner. Harry pulled out his half finished essay and set to work. After 5 minutes of silence, Ron spoke.
"What else could go wrong?" He sounded, and looked, confused. "I've got the one that Nevile did, but what else is there?"
"Loads," Hermione and Harry said in unison.
"There's the monkswood. If you forget to add it, the potion goes red, hisses and is completely worthless. The helibore. If you add that to late, the potion explodes. The porcupine quills, obviously. That's about it, isn't it, Harry?" Hermione rounded off immediatley and turned to Harry.
"No. You have to let it simmer for 2 minutes after adding the first ingredient. If you don't, the potion is pointless. You have to leave it to simmer for 7 minutes after adding the hellibore or you end up making half a babbling beverage. You have to leave it to simmer for 3 minutes after adding the porcupine quills, any longer, and you make it to strong, any less, and the potion is to weak and doesn't work. Then-"
"I think that's enough, Harry." Hermione inturrupted him and pointed at Ron, who was looking throughly confused and had taken to scratching himself with his quill as he listened to Harry.
"Fair enough." Harry pulled out a fresh peice of parchement and started on Binns' summary of Emeric the Evil's life. "Binns, though. he doesn't even realise that no-one listens to him. If he knows so much about History of Magic, you'd have thought that he would notice when a room full of people are ignoring him."
"You're being really unfair. I expect he doesn't want to be inturuppted and thinks that looking to see if people are paying him attention would distract him," Hermione defened their teacher in a dignified voice.
"Hermione, he doesn't notice anything."
"Harry, you don't know that."
"He didn't notice he had died until he discovered he could walk through walls."

I have to go now, but in the mean time please leave feedback!
snape_rox_my_socks
Ron laughed. Hermione's frown depened.
"And you would know that how?"
"Mum told me."
"Cause your mum knows everything."
"She does, actually. It's creepy."
"Sure."
"I'm serious! They were his first lesson after he had died. Apparantly, he walked into the room and tried to sit down. He fell straight through the floor and about 5 minutes later stuck his head back up and exclaimed to the world "I'm dead."" Ron laughed some more at this and Hermione cracked a smile.
"So. What happened in Emeric the Evil's life, anyway," Ron asked when he surfaced from his coughing fit.
"Here," Harry pushed his notes towards him. "I know it all anyway."
"You do?"
"My parents were brainiacs at school. With me, whatever anyone says, it goes in one ear and stays there."
"Poor you."
"It's useful. Sometimes. I'm going to bed."
"Your finished?" Ron sounded perplexed and Hermione looked a little surprised.
"Yeah. I write kind of fast."
"Kind of? Super fast, more like."
"See you tomorrow. And if you think I write fast," Harry reached the foot of the spiral staircase and called over his shoulder "Take a look behind you." Ron and Hermione looked up, surprisded and glanced around the diserted common room.
"It's 10!" Hermione screamed.
"Relax, Hermione."
"I'm going to bed to."
"Wait! I'm nearly finished!" But Hermione had already disappered up to the girls dormitory.

The rest of the week passed quickly and, before Harry knew it, monday had arrived again.
Harry and Ron were examining a sign that had appeared over night.
Flying lessons will take place on thursday on the quidditch pitch with the Slytherins. Harry groaned as hermione appeared behind them.
"What?" For an answer, Harry pointed gloomily at the sign. "WHAT?!" Hermione screamed, causing passing second years to jump with shock and surprise. "You can't learn to fly out of a book!"
"I know," Harry muttered. "And it's in front of Malfoy."
"What difference will that make?" Ron asked, intriuged.
"He's a good flyer. It's not talk. Well, the hand-glider thing is, but the rest of it..." Harry was interupted by his barn owl, Mika, flew down in front of him. Harry took the letter from his beak and began to read.
Harry. I thought I should be the one to tell you. I ddn't want you to find out from your father. He won't know until you know. But I wanted to tell you. I'm pregnant. Love, mum.

Have to go know but please leave feedback

Harry looked up at the staff table and saw the look of shock on his father's face that resembled what he felt. He got up and, ignoring the questions Ron and Hermione shot at him, made his way towards Severus.
"How did this happen?" Severus asked when Harry was stood in front of him.
"I'm guessing at night and in bed," Harry replied, stunned at how his father could ask such a question.
"What are you talking about?"
"Mum's pregnant."
"YOUR MOTHER'S PREGNANT!" Severus shouted. All the heads in the hall turned to look at them.
"A little louder, dad, I think there is someone on the North Pole who didn't hear you. What did you think I was talking about?"
"Your transfiguration mark."
"Oh, yeah. About that..."
"How did this happen?" Severus asked again, weakly.
"Like I said, at night and in bed, I assume."
"I know how, Harry, I'm not stupid. Don't say anything," He added.
"I wasn't going to."

I know it's a really short post but I have to go. Please leave feedback in a link above.

Severus left the Great Hall and Harry walked back down to the Gryffindor table, feeling the eyes of everyone on him.
"What was all that about?" Ron asked as Harry took his place between them.
"Didn't you hear?" Harry helped himself to a kipper.
"Hear what?"
"Honestly, Ron. You are so slow sometimes," Hermione sounded exhasperated as Ron resumed the stuffing of his face he had left to talk to Harry.
"That's a little harsh, Hermione. Mum's pregnant."
"Honestly, you breed like gnomes, you do. Or is the phrase you breed like rabbits?" Malfoy had walked over to them and appeared to be waiting for Harry.
"Both. The gnomes one is a wizard one, the rabbits one is a muggle one." Hermione informed him.
"Alright, mudblood. Coming Harry?"
"Don't you dare call Hermione a mudblood."
"I won't."
"Your lieing. I know you are because you call everyone like Hermione a mudblood. Except for mum, but I think that's more of the fear you have about what dad and Lucius would do to you if you did."
"True, true." They where now making their way down the cold steep steps to the dungeons.
"What do you mean, we breed like gnomes?"
"Well, there's Janye, Mike and Tessey."
"That means there's only four of us."
"Five, now that Lil's pregnant."
"Don't let dad hear you calling mum Lil.
"I won't."
"Good." The dungeon door swung open and the class filed inside.
"When's Jayne coming to Hogwart's?" Malfoy and Harry resumed their conversation when everyone had been put to work.
"Next year. Mike's coming the year after and Tessey's coming the year after that."
"And there's the baby."
"And there's the baby."
"Do the other's know?"
"I have absolutely no idea. Now the pair of you, get on with your work," Severus had glided over unnoticed by either of them and now stood behind Ron, glaring at them. The rest of the lesson passed in silence and Harry used the time he had left over to do the work he had neglected to do over the weekend.

Got to go now, and I know this stories a little odd. In the meantime, please leavefeedback

In their DADA lesson, James was more sour towards Harry than usual (this was saying something as they'd only had one lesson). When they walked in, Harry couldn't help noticing the dog under the teacher's desk and a rat in the corner. Harry remained silent as he knew that the teacher was waiting for an opportunity to put him in detention, and knew that he wouldn't be so forgiving.

"Oh my god," the dog transformed into Sirius Black, and walked next to James, who was staring out of the door.
"You were right," the rat transformed into Peter Pettigrew and stood on Sirius' other side.
"That's just creepy," Remus Lupin pulled of James' invisibility cloak and gave it back to him.
"See what I mean? Young Snivillus is back among us," James sighed, heavily.
"At least there's only one kid, Prongs," Sirius comforted his friend. James had never quite got over Lily's choice, whatever it might look like.
"Lily's pregnant."
"WHAT?!" the three other marauders yelled, while James just nodded.
"And she told you?" Remus asked, not sure quite what he was hearing.
"No. Snape found out at breakfast, and ran to talk to his father. Snivellius didn't know and yelled it out really loudly to the rest of the hall." He sighed again. Remus and Sirius looked at each other, unsure what they were meant to do.
"Well," Remus started, but didn't know how to carry on.
"On the bright side," Sirius continued but, like Remus, had no idea were this was going.
"You can make Harry's life hell," Peter concluded, surprising everyone.
"Nice one, Wormy," Remus said.
"Never knew you had it in you," Sirius clapped him on the back.
"Yeah. That's what I'll do. Thanks Wormy. I owe you," With that, the four of them left the room.

I know it's a really short chapter, but I have to go. please leave feedback!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's much appreciated.

Thursday came all to quickly for Harry. Hermione was telling everyone and anyone who would listen all the tips she had picked up from quidditch through the ages[s][/s] It came asa relief to the entire table when Hermione had to stop because the post arrived. As usual, Draco came over and the four of them walked down the lawn to the quidditch pitch.
'This lesson is going to be so much fun!' Malfoy said loudly to the rest of them.
'For you, maybe,' Harry muttered back, darkly.
'Oh, come on Harry. You've flown before.'
'I know. It still won't be good.'
All to soon, they reached the quidditch pitch, and stood by a broom. All of a sudden, the teacher, Madam Hooch, arrived.
'Stick your right hand over your broom and say "up"!' Madam Hooch called from the front.
There were various calls of 'UP'. Harry's and Draco's brooms flew into their hands straight away, as did Neville's.
'Now when I blow my whistle, you kick off from the ground, hard. Keep your brooms steady, rise a few feet and then come straight back down by leading forwards slightly. On my whistle, 3-2-1!'
A shrill blast echoed around the grounds, and Harry kicked off. He rose, level with Draco, leant forwards, and touched down again, along with the rest of the class.
'Good! Now, this time, all do one lap of the pitch.' Again, the whistle blew, and they all took off. This time, Draco flew off ahead of Harry, who was far to used to this to care. Neville touched down first, Draco second, and Harry third, a few minutes later. They then continued to go round the pitch for the rest of the lesson. At the end of the lesson, they left their brooms on the grass, and headed to the castle for dinner.

I know its a short post, but I'll post again soon! In the meantime, you know what to do!!!! smile.gif

The days continued in the same fashion, excelling at potions, and getting in toruble in DADA. All to soon, Mcgonagall came down the Gryffindor table, collecting the names of people who would be staying at home over the christmas holidays.
"Harry, we're coming to you, right?" Ron said, more to confirm than actually ask.
"What?"
"Yeah. It's all organised. Bill's getting a portkey to Charlie and staying there for two weeks and then their both apparating to ours, and we're coming to you as a family. Well, me, Percy, Fred, george and Hermione are all coming home with you. Didn't I ask?"
"No."
"Oh"
"I'll be back in a minute." Harry sprinted up to his father, who was eating porridge, staring at the front page of the prophet.

I'll add more later, but I have to go.

"Dad, is it ok for Ron, Hermione and Ron's family to come to ours for the christmas holidays?"
"Well, I..."
"You didn't."
"What did you expect? They come every year."
"This is going to be problematic."
"Really? I had no idea. Why are you asking now?"
"I only just found out they wanted to come."
"They only just asked?"
"Well, yeah, but they've already organised it. Bill's going to Charlie and then going to the Burrow and they can't really cancel that now."
"No, we can't. I guess were just going to have to put up with it. How long will they stay for?"
"I dunno. I assume just for christmas day, but Ron, Hermione, Percy, Fred and George want to come back for the train with us. And Draco."
Severus rubbed his hands over his face before saying
"Alright, fine. They can come. I'll tell Lily.'
"Thanks dad." Harry turned, and ran back to Ron, Hermione and Draco.
"You can come."
"What? The Weasley's are coming to yours for christmas? You could have forewarned me!" Malfoy said, sounding indignant.
"I didn't know until just now. And were just going to have to live with it."
"Oh, my gosh. That's going to be hard for my dad."
"I know. Ah well. There's nothing we can do."
"Shouldn't you be going somewhere?" Severus reminded them, as he drifted past, and they all left for their separate lessons.

I'll update soon, but in the mean time, please leave feedback!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The end of term came all to quickly, and before Harry knew what was happening, they where all sitting in one compartment, on the way back to London. Ron and Hermione, who had grown used to Draco's company by now, didn't complain, but Fred and George were finding it hard to contain themselves, and Percy looked mildly displeased with the holiday arrangements.

"Remind me again why we're spending Christmas with the blonde haired twats?" Fred asked, glaring at Draco.
"Because we didn't think it was a good idea to leave Harry alone with Snape over Christmas," Hermione replied, for the tenth time.
"For crying out loud, Hermione, he is my dad," Harry said, indignantly.
"Well, considering the fact he's already cursed you once, on our second day..."
"I told you, he has a short temper, and he was already annoyed at Potter."
"But still.."
"What the Mudblood-"
"DRACO!"
"Fine. What Hermione is trying to say is that they don't think that Severus has quite got over the fact that your in Gryffindor, yet, and they want to be there to protect your back, which is brave."
"Very brave."
"Why?" Percy asked, interested.
"Because my dad's coming tonight. That and the fact that there's not really much you can do. Just leave it to Lily, really," Malfoy answered.
"That's the most sensible course of action," Harry agreed with Draco.

The Hogwarts Express pulled into platform 9 3/4, and Harry and the rest of the Christmas party jumped off.
"Harry!" Lily cried, and pulled her son into a warm embrace the moment she could.
"Hey mum."
"Draco," Lily pulled Draco into a tight embrace as soon as she had let Harry go.
"Hi, Lily."
"And you must be Harry's friends from school. Sev told me you were coming."
"I'm Hermione," Hermione stepped forwards with her hand outstreched, which Lily ignored, and pulled her into a hug, to. Hermione looked a little shocked at Harry's mum's motherly nature, but didn't say anything. The introductions continued in this way until everyone had been hugged by Harry's overly warm mother, and they were the last on the platform.
"So, how was school?" Lily asked as soon as they were in the car and driving away.
"It was good. Ah, you should have seen me in flying, Lily." Draco said.
"I bet you were the best, the fastest and narrowly avoided several hang gliders," Lily said, laughing at Draco's nature to tell all as it had not happened.
"Actually, Neville was the fastest, the best and narrrowly avoiding several out of place hang gliders," Harry said, before Draco could say anything.
"Neville? Neville Longbottom?"
"Yeah. He was even faster than Draco."
"No!"
"He was."
"Thanks, Harry," Draco said, grumpily.
"Anytime, Draco."
"Just keep your mouth shut when I'm talking to Mother and Father about that."
"Fine."
"Hermione, how was your first term?" Lily asked, putting an end to Harry and Draco's bickering.
"It was great, Mrs Snape," Hermione said, always ever so polite.
"Please, call me Lily. So, what's your favourite subject?"
"I don't know. There's too much choice!"
"Ok, then. What's your best subject?"
"That's a hard question for Hermione to answer," Harry said.
"Why?"
"Because Hermione is like you and dad where when you were at school."
"Oh. Ok, then, Hermione, which is your worst subject?"
"Flying."
"I can understand that. I hated flying when I was at school. It wasn't that I was bad at it-"
"No, dad was the bad flier, wasn't he?"
"Harry, don't be mean. Anyway, it wasn't like I was bad at flying, it's just that it didn't seem that great or worthwhile. I saw it as just a waste of time."
"Me too!"
"I still can't get over the fact that you thought flying was a waste of time, Lily," Draco said, shaking his head slightly.
"Well I did. What's your favourite subject, Harry?" Lily asked her son.
"Potions!" Hermione, Ron and Draco all said at the same time.
"Is that true, Harry?"
"Not really. I'm torn between Potions and Charms," Harry said.
"Well, potions is definitely your best subject," Ron said.
"In my defence, my dad is the potions master. You pick some things up."
"Like the words to his start of year speech?" Draco asked, innocently.
"That was fun."
"What?" Lily asked, no knowing this particular jaunt of her son's.
"Yeah, in our first lesson, he gave that speech, you know the one about 'bewitching the mind and ensnaring the senses,'" Draco said, trying to get his own back at Harry for telling Lily the truth about the flying lesson. "And Harry was mouthing the words to the speech behind his back." The entire car roared with laughter.
"To be fair, he has treated us to that speech many times over dinner," Lily said, in defence of her son.
"Thank you!"
"Well, were here." Lily parked the car on the road in front of the little cottage at the end of the row, where the peaceful village road turned into hedge bordered country wilderness.

I'll update soon, but before I do, please leave feedback!!! It's much appreciated biggrin.gif

Harry led the way to the door, which he pushed open to see his father standing in the hall, looking slightly bored.
"Hey Harry. Kids! They're back!" He yelled over his shoulder, and immediately they could hear the thunders of three pairs of feet over head. "So, anything I can do to help?"
Right on cue, Lily called up to her son,
"Harry, ask your father to help with the trunks, will you?"
Smiling slightly, Severus walked past Harry, who was then bombarded by two black haired children, and one red head.
"Harry's back!"
"He's here!"
"It's Christmas!"
"Thanks, Tessey, not even bothered that I'm back? It's nice to know your loved," Harry said, staring down at the eight year old, who looked so much like their mother.
"I mearly meant, that now that your home, it's almost like it's finally Christmas."
"Almost?" Draco asked
"Well, it will be properly Christmas when your parents get here," Tessey explained.
"Ah, I see."
"Harry, move out the way, your blocking the door," Lily called to him and Harry, still trapped in his siblings arms, began to edge slowly towards the kitchen. As soon as they reached the kitchen, with its pile of washing up on the side that never seemed to get done, Janye and Mike let Harry go, but Tessey still clung to his legs. Harry reached down, and lifted her up so that she clung to his neck instead. Janye and Mike were now giving Draco a hug, as the rest of the guest filed in.
"Harry, who are they?" Tessey asked, pointing at Ron and Hermione.
"Weasleys?" Janye looked at Draco. "You better have talked this through with Lucius."
"Why is it you all know the Malfoys?" Ron asked, curious.
"Because Lucius was dad's only friend at school," Harry, Janye, Mike and Tessey all said at exactly the same time.
"Oi!" Severus said, offended. "It's time I taught you a lesson." He reached down, and began to tickle Janye beneath her arms, the spot he knew she was most tickleish. As she squealed with laughter, he lifted her up into his arms.
"Kids, don't be mean," Lily said, ever defencive of her family.
"I have missed you all so much," Severus said, kissing his daughter on her check, and setting her back on her feet. He then turned and gave Lily a hug, a peck on the check, and Harry, Janye, Mike, Tessey and Draco all seemed to relax. It was the moment they had been waiting for.
"Tess, I'm going to have to put you down, your getting just a bit to big for this," Harry said, gently dropping his younger sister to the floor. Tessey complained and Severus said from across the room,
"Come here, sweetie, just because Harry's weak..." he opened his arms wide for his daughter to charge into them.
"Right, so, first things first," Harry said, about to make various introductions to people. "This is Ron," Ron waved from near the sink, "Hermione," Hermione nodded, "Fred and George, I don't know which one's which, just call their names, one of them will answer," Fred and George wore identical grins, "And Percy," Percy smiled politely from near the fridge, "This is my brother Mike, my sister Janye and my other sister Tessey," Harry pointed people out as he said their names, then leant back against the cupboard behind him, satisfied he had done his part.
"Right, now, Draco, your in with Harry, as usual, but Ron, Hermione, Janye, Mike and Tessey are with you to," Lily said, with the air of one worrying about whether or not the new rooms would work.
"Fine."
"Cool."
"I'm with Harry?!"
"Fred, George and Percy, you're in Janye's room, just next door."
"Great."
"Then Bill and Charlie are in Mike's room, and your parents are in Tessey's room. Lucius and Cissy will be in the same room as usual, and then everyone's got a bed."
Harry, after stooping down to give Mike a piggy back, led the way upstairs to show everyone their respective rooms. It was when they were leaving Janye's room, that the door bell rang.

Lucius and Narcissa had arrived.

Mike jumped down from Harry's back, and ran towards the door. Harry, Draco, the Weasleys and Hermione all wore identical expressions of concern.
"Are you coming or not?" Mike asked from the door, when he turned and saw that no-one was following.
"Yeah, we are. It's best not to keep Lucius and Cissy waiting," Harry replied, and followed Mike downstairs.
Standing just inside the doorway was Draco's parents, Lucius and Narcissa. Severus was talking to them, and turned his head to call over his shoulder
"Harry! Oh, your there."
"Hello, Mother, Father," Draco walked forwards, shook his fathers hand and kissed his mothers cheek.
"Hello, Draco," his mother said, after a slightly stiff hug. "How are you?"
"I'm fine mother, really."
"Hello, Harry, good to see you again," Lucius said, catching sight of Harry lurking at the bottom of the stairs.
"You to, Lucius," Harry replied. At this direct inclusion into the conversation, Harry moved further forwards, and the Weasleys and Hermione followed.
"Janye, Mike, Tessey, how are thi-" Lucius broke of as he caught sight of Ron, who had moved to stand at Harry's shoulder. "Ah." Lucius sighed. "I forgot. I take it, then, that you are in Gryffindor, Harry?"
Harry nodded. Lucius turned to look at Severus.
"Honestly, Severus, where did you go wrong?"
Narcissa coughed, and inclined her head to the Gryffindor banner on the kitchen wall, which was just visible through the open door, as they moved to sit around the kitchen table.
"Hello, Cissy, Lucius," Lily walked in, and kissed Cissy and Lucius twice on each cheek. "How are you both?"
"We're fine, thank you," Narcissa answered, while Lucius continued to glare at the Weasleys, all of whom were shifting around in their seats, under Lucius' scrutiny. "Or should I say, were fine," Narcissa rectified, after one sideways glance at her husband. Lily nodded her understanding.

Before anyone could get a proper conversation going, the doorbell rang again.

The rest of the Weasleys had arrived.
