The Hufflepuff House wanted to throw a party for tomorrow. I spoke to Triad and the Mods decided it would be better to put it here. I've posted this today, in case some of you are busy tomorrow.

Just a few reminders. The Forum Rules still apply and if anyone has any concerns contact a Mod. This thread is basically for anything and everything HP that pertains to Halloween. So keep your posts HP related, so we don't get off track. You may or may not wear a costume, it's optional.

Lastly, I'd just like to say that the credit for this idea of a Halloween party belongs to monkeymushroom, and LeoTheLionness1986.

I think you've got it JUST right there with the whole Fred and George as Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum thing. They were bound to dress up as them.
I think that Ron could go as a pumpkin - because, you know, he likes his food!

I wonder what the Marauders would have gone as? James and Sirius would definitely go as something fun, like Fred and George would. I don't know what Lupin or Pettigrew (curse that name) would go as. I was thinking that James, Sirius and Pettigrew might dress up as a dog, a stag and a rat, and lupin would dress up as a werewolf - assuming that the full moon doesn't rise, of course. What do you guys think?

I also agree with the tweedle dee and tweedle dum costumes for Fred and George that would be really funny. Also i think it would be cool if the marauders were to dress up for halloween as well. I'd definitely go with your idea monkeymushroom. Especially for sirius and lupin, it would be really neat if you think about it.

yay! The party starts tomorrow.I accidentally went to the party a few days early in my costume and everything, but oh well I'll just put the ole Vampire Countess costume back on tomorrow and bring the delicious cake with silver frosting and the Slytherin House emblem emblazed across it...*teehee*

Well since everyone else here is saying what they feel Gryffindor would dress as I will tell you what I think my own House Slytherin will dress up as...

Draco~~Definately a Vampire, he's just so sexy like that. He'd have the slicked back hair, fangs and a sexy black cloak

Crabbe and Goyle~~Ok these guys are like the Bobsey twins, so I'd say they would dress up as Laurel and Hardy, complete with the tacky polyester suits and Bowler hats.

Pansy Parkinson~~ Only in her dreams but I'll say she would be a Playboy Bunny with a fluffy white tail and everything.

Blaise Zanbini~~ He would totally dress up as Frankenstein.

Snape~~ Snape would come dressed in Drag, wearing an old flower printed dress, a peacock hat, and a huge purse, that he would use on anyone who commented on his costume.

Harry- Voldemort, definitely. Lol.

Ron- A ghost. It's quite low maintenance, just a white sheet, so he'd be able to afford it and it wouldn't require much effort.

Hermione- A witch. A Muggle storybook witch, that is, with a long black dress and a pointed hat.

Neville- A pumpkin.

Prof. McGonagall- A witch's cat. Nice and easy.

Prof. Snape- A bat. Not much to do really.

Prof. Dumbledore- A leprechaun.

Prof. Trelawney- A Grim.

Prof Sprout- A mandrake.

Draco- Yeah, I agree, a vampire.

Crabbe and Goyle- Zombies.

Pansy- A devil.

All-hallows eve comes only once a year, on October 31...Halloween night, the bewitching hour. So, who here is gonna go treat-or-tricking tonight? parties are fun, I myself will be an honored host of one. And I will spend my night eating candy and having tons of fun. Anyways, just thought I'd drop in and invade. Haha.

Draco-definately vampire (he's just perfect for it!) but yeah I can definately see where you'd get the dementor idea.

I guess it's time to answer my own question, huh? I've come in what my real costume for this year was. I found an old, huge, puffy, yellow prom gown, with a pretty white, lacy, thin, robe-type thing over it.

So I'm coming as a sexy black cat. Tight black velvet leotard that goes all the way down to my feet. A long black velvet tail..long black satin gloves with semi sharpened nails that sparkle like a lot of tiny diamonds. comfortable black shoes...maybe with a small heel. Cute black ears, a light pink nose with black whiskers painted on my face. Some subtle grey tiger like markings painted on my face...and contacts that make my eyes look like a cat..with eyeliner applied to make them seem a little slanted. I can't find a picture, so I described it

I spent my Halloween watching "who framed Roger Rabbit" and "The South Park Movie" with a bunch of my friends. I suggested that we should see a horror movie or something, considering the fact that it was Halloween, but they didn't have the guts to watch one(cowards). But the two movies where good though.

And I don't really think I would have bothered celebrating Halloween if it wasn't on a friday. We don't officially celebrate it in my country, but there are some kids who dress up and go trick or treating, but that's it. I was actually one of the first to go trick or treating in my country. My best friend used to live in USA so she asked me if I wanted to go trick or treating with her. I had read about it in Donald Duck so I decided to check it out. When people opened the door they just look at us questionably, so we had to explain how the whole thing worked and that we had read about it in Donald. Then they just nodded and went to get some three month old candy from their closet. This was in 2002 I think. Nowadays, people know that it is Halloween so the kids probabøy get a bigger catch than what I did:)

Yesterday afternoon, my sister and I had one of her friends, and her older sister (one of my friends) and another one of my friends over to watch Halloween movies. It was too light outside and our sisters were two little to rent a horror, so we got a bunch of Scooby Doos and Casper the friendly Ghosts and watched those. We chowed down on Candy we'd gotten at our elementary school's (where our sisters still go) Trunk or Treat. It was a pretty fun afternoon.

I did go trick or treating. I met up with my friend, Allison (the older sister), and we went together. We ditched our younger siblings and their friends and went trick-or-treating together. We're a little older than most of the trick-or-treaters, and this year or next will probably the last year we go... I guess after that we'll just have to have Halloween Parties!

Sorry i didn't post aything up before Halloween ended last night, but my sister came round unexpectedly and we watched some films: Hope Floats (dunno whether anyone here has seen that one), Hunchback of Notre Dame, Sister Act 2, and i showed her the new Harry Potter trailer and we both laughed at the end.

I just had a thought earlier, that i wouldn't have minded going as a Fool (jester) last night. Ooo, i know, i'll dress up now as a Fool since it's the After Halloween Party - cool!

I had thought in a really cool idea, but only for the Quidditch Pitch, as it's something not serious at all, so it has nothing to do, but I love this idea!
