i think that the veil is somthing made by wizards to attempt to show just how close death can be to life. I am curious though, did Bellatrix's curse kill Serious, or did he die because he fell through the veil? huh.gif

In all honesty i think that the veil is the thin but definite separation of the world of the living and the world of the dead. I don't think the the spelling has anything to do with it... But knowing J.K. it surely could. Maybe she is trying to say that anyone who tries to find out what's on the other side of the veil is doing something evil. Basically another way of saying, live your life and enjoy it now? smile.gif I think the reason
