Chapter 1
James was on the run... AGAIN!!!!! Padfoot, Moony, and Wormtail were right behind him. Snape and Evans were mad at them. Lily Evans... the love of James' life. Her bright red hair, bright green eyes, and her bright personality. Everything about her was bright. Only one thing... his friends didn't know that he fancied her! If they fpund out who knows what they would say. Even when she was mad at him he still gazed at her. When they reached the Gyriffindor Common Room, Snape had to stay behind but Lily came inside.
"HEY!!" Lily ahouted.
"What?" James asked.
"You have NO RIGHT to do that to Severus!!"
"Why do you care so much?"
"Cause-cause-cause I do!"
"FINE!! We'll leave hom alone okay!"
"OKAY!! That's all I ask."
Lily left with James gazing at her the whole time. What if she liked Snape better then she liked him? What if she actually fancied Snape?
"James?" Sirius' voice said.
"Yeah?"
"Are we actually going to leave Snape alone?"
"No, I just saod the so she'll leave me alone."
They walked back to their dormitry, laughing the whole way.

Chapter 2


"Hey Padfoot?" James asked.
"Yeah?"
"Have you ever got the feeling you needed something to survive?"
"Yeah I do."
"You do?" James was hopeful.
"Yeah Prongs. I need that new broomstick, the Cleansweep 2."
"Oh! Awsome, I guess."
"Why?"
"No reason."
"James, I know lying. Tellme the truth."
"Okay the truth is... I've been dying for that new broomstick too!!!"
"Nice save."
"Whatever."
James rolled over and fell asleep.

Chapter 3
James woke up and streched. He was still yawning when plopped in between Sirius and Remus.
"James........" Remus started timidly. "Is there anything you need to tell us? Is there anything that we don't know about you?"
"What?" the question cought James off gaurd. "N-N-No! I tell you guys everything!"
"Are you sure Prongs?" Sirius asked, poking James in the ribs.
James laughed. "O f course I'm sure!" he exclaimed when Lilly Evans walked in with Snape. James glared at him, how dare he walk in with his girl. Sirius soon followed James's gaze.
"Think we can get him right here and now?" he whispered quietly.
James looked at Dumbledore. He seemed occupied.
"Yeah." James whispered back. "Just trip him ir something, though. Save the big stunts for outside."
As soon as he heard the words, Padfoot stuck out his foot, and Snape landed right on his face when he tripped over it. The two boys howled in laughter.
"HEY!" Lilly screamed. "I TOLD YOU YESTERDAY TO LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Her red hair was in pigtails, her chin was jutted out, her small hands were on her thin hips.
She looks so sexy when she's angry. James thought.
"Maybe I didn't listen." James said, standing up. He was a head taller then her, but her narrowed green eyes made her seem to tower over him.
"Maybe you should." Lilly said.
"Leave him alone, Lilly" Smape's voice said. "I don't need a Mudblood to defend me."
