Because I am physically incapable of writting short stories, I have to do poetry for my one shots. I already have one, "severus... please" though I think only the comments remain. My other fics are The Years of the Hourglass and Shadows in the Dark, both of which are under other adults. I'll set up a comment thingy for y'all, cause I want to. And cause peeps complain if I does not. And guess who it's aboot! If it's not obvious, let me know. It makes me cry, cause it's sad and true... Ok, here it goes.


Some far off voice is calling,
Words trickling across the desert plains,
Reminiscent of your whispers in my ear;
They break my heart, and burn my soul.

We began as one,
You are me and I am you,
And never is there one without the other close behind;
When you cried, I felt tears stream down my face.

Fighting side by side,
We flew away as one into the night sky,
Leaving behind our flaming mark;
It burns into their eyes, a reminder of our singularity.

As the battle rages on around us,
I take the shots that were meant for you,
You in turn save my life again;
To say I owe you everything, even that is not enough.

And so as you take the death for me,
I can save your life no longer,
You fall and drag me down with you;
My better half is dying in my arms, and my weaker half can only watch.

You take the journey without me,
You go where I cannot follow,
You leave me behind;
I am broken, beaten and destroyed without you.

So I carry our mangled body away,
And lay us down to rest,
I am a newborn in this alien world;
My eyes are blind and my ears are deaf, my lips cannot speak.

We promised to never leave each other,
That we'd be side by side until the end,
That'd we'd take that final step together;
You're early, you were always slighty ahead of me.

All I ask is that you wait for me,
Wait for me to follow as I always do,
Any world is far too empty with only half of us;
When we are whole, we'll light up the sky again.
