I think that Draco only lets Pansy hang around him because she does so much to boost his confidence. I also think that Draco isn't a boad person, he's just been placed in bad circumstances so does bad things. He wouldn't want to disappoint his parents, his father especially, and he is only doing what he's been taught. Cho isn't bad either...I mean, she has emotional issues, and Harry has the emotional intuition of a hanky, so they weren't ever going to work. Draco and Cho might work, but Cho is older and that makes things tricky.

Anyway, Pansy and Draco won't get together. He has standards, does he not?
