Dayna, this story makes me wish that Hogwarts was real and that I was a student there. It's so much fun! Of course, I want to be a particular student who happens to be getting kissed by Draco Malfoy!!!

This was a really great chapter; the friendship between Hermione and Keely is so nice and it was great to see Keely stand up to Draco like that. I was hoping she wouldn't be swayed into submissiveness by his good looks and sexy nature. Good for her! She's a true Gryffindor.

okay here is what you said the didn't make hardly any sense.
“Have a seat, Miss Chambers,” instructed Snape.

Keely sat in front of Snape’s desk and he stood to walk around it. Draco moved forward. Keely felt very small looking up at the towering figures before her so she stood also.

“I thought I told you to have a seat,” Snape reminded her.

“I’d rather stand, if you don’t mind.”

I love how cheeky Keely is. It can also produce a really funny comeback and conversation. It's great to write a story like this I'm sure. And Draco blushing! There's a first. It's good to see he has another side besides serious and rude, though. If anybody can bring about a playful side in him, it's Keely.

Chelsea~ Haha, you're so cute! I'm thrilled that you loved this chapter. I was a little worried when I first posted it because not much happened. It probably only covered a total of five minutes, ten at the most, of their lives, as it was mostly just Snape and Draco's thoughts. I'm glad my worries were unfounded.

Lisa~ Aww, thank you, sweetie! I really like how that sentence came out, too. I think that whole paragraph was my favorite in this chapter. I could just imagine Keely as a first year. She had to have been so freakin adorable! I'll bet she's a handful for her parents.

Yep, Draco stood up for her. I figured there has to be some human in him somewhere. All we really see of him in the HP books is what little JK wrote of him. If the book had been the Draco Malfoy series, I'm sure we would have seen some of his more human moments. Draco is so much fun to write!

Keely is really different compared to all the characters we know, and she adds..... spunk to the story. I like her a lot, and your idea of a newspaper column is deliciously tasteful. Ohh, and....

Kiersten~ Yay! I'm so glad you found my story! And I'm glad you like it! Good guess about the rose, but nope, it wasn't a Weasley. None of them even have any idea about she and Draco yet. Hermione is still the only one that knows anything about their relationship. So Fred doesn't really have anything to be jealous about.

The person who sent the rose is the person who charmed the application at the beginning. Keely said that her favorite color was red. Yes, she only said red because she thought it was Fred that charmed the application, and in that case, the color was in reference to the Weasley hair. Red isn't really Keely's favorite color, but the mystery person doesn't know that. It was a good guess though!

I like to hear theories. . . They're so much fun!

You were brilliant, you were brilliant, and you were still more brilliant! Yup, that sums it up! But besides that, who sent the red rose? And that was a clever letter lisasnape. So Sevy has an admirer too. Draco's being a bit bad again, but like I said a while ago- bad from Draco is good. If that makes sense!

Ahhhh, I have so much to say and only about a million words with which to express myself! Ok, first: great chapter; I loved the way Keely tricked Draco with the comment about the flower being a daisy. She is a clever girl. I love her! Then she toyed with him and that quill. It was sooo steamy, but since she knew he was lying, she teased him unmercifully; and good for her! He deserved it, but yet, I can't wait to see what happens during their skiving.

Now, on to Honey's advice. I'm going to take it! What the hell; you only live once!
Yes!!! I agree. Honey gives such good advice. Wish me luck!

One more thing: what was it that Draco was trying to say to Keely when he first entered the library? He was being so distant and secretive , but he definitely wanted to get something off his chest. Ooooh I can't wait to find out what it is.

Ok, I'm posting again even when I've only read one more chapter -3- because the post I made yesterday was awfully short and uncomplete, sorry. I wanted to add a few things:
Don Juan! I can't believe you studied Spanish literature! I had to read it in 4th year at school, it wasn't that bad. It's a good comparison, and now you cleared me up about Fred, I must say what a paralell with James and Lily
Also, I like your perspective of a new group of friends; it's kind of what we think when we wodner how would have been if Hermione have made friends with somebody else but the guys. Keely seems an equal to her, but not an equal to compete with.
I'm disapointed by the lack of Ron, but never mind (I'm kidding, it's your fic of course )
Well, from chapter 3, I must say it's grand Snape's her favourite teacher, because he was evil, but a good teacher, and I think he kind of like her (and I'm just uploading Snape pics at the moment! what a coincidence!)

Great chapter, Dayna! Draco trying to take credit for what someone else did. But what else can we expect from him. I have an idea of what Draco might've been trying to ask Keely. Might he have been asking her to be his friend? The only reason I think that is because I was thinking back in the story and remembered he never officially asked her out.

They were being in the library with the quill and talking about ditching class. So much for Keely bringing out the good side in him. He's bringing out the bad side in her. This is getting really good. (not that it was ever close to bad)

I just read the new chapter. Excellent work, my dear! Of course you're going to trick a guy to see if he really did give you a 'daisy'. They are confusingly sweet, if you know what I mean. Keely is not necessarily new to ditching. . . she is good friends with Fred and George, after all. But I think that she and Draco are going to bring out sides of each other that are quite dormant.

Kiersten~ I assume that skiving means ditching. I'm American, too, but skiving is used several times throughout the HP series. I think PoA is the first time it was used (if I remember this right) Ron or Harry said something about skiving off of DADA if Snape was substituting for Lupin again.

And Fred and George have their Skiving Snackbox. You eat one end to make you sick so you can get out of class, and when you are a safe distance away, you eat the other end to make you well again so you can do whatever you want.

That would be cool if they went sky diving though. Maybe that's something that Keely could talk Draco into doing in a future chapter. . . hmmm. . . the possibilities.

Okay well i just spent probably over an hour reading your entire fanfic so far and i just have to say that it is really good. I love the idea of a newspaper at Hogwarts! That's awesome. It is a very creative story and you're great at writing by the way. Sorry i can't write more right now but i can't wait for the next chapter, keep up the good work!

I've had so much fun writing this, I'm addicted to this story, I get ideas start floating around in my head in the middle of the night and I think about it all day while I'm at work. It's crazy!
