I think that Cho was really pretty and cool, but I think she needs to get over Cedric.

I don't particularly hate this pairing but I prefer Ginny and Harry. Honestly Cho and Harry didn't bother me. I was only eight or nine when I first read OotP and I didn't care all that much although Cho annoyed me a tiny bit, but I didn't and don't hate her.
I think Cho would've driven Harry mad though talking about Cedric.

I didn't mind this ship in OotP, i mean, Harry has to have a first kiss with somebody and even though it's compleatly over, i don't really mind them together, though i perfer different ships to this one.

anyway... yeah, i thought they were good together, but one of my friends believes that if Harry destroys Voldemort, Harry'll get back together with Ginny. There's still hope that he'll get back with Cho, though theres a very slim chance that he will.

well i love cho and harry they were soo cute together but i think the reason for their breakup was mostly harry. of coarse somee was cho because of cedric. harry would always say the wrong thing with that would upset her which irritated me. what i hope for is Cho gets stonger in her heart and in her skills soo she would come bakc in the 7th book

well, I think it was partly Harry's fault. I think that he should have understood that Cho was affected by Cedric's death, just like he was. Also, no offense to him, but he is kind of... oblivious? naive? He shouldn't have mentioned Hermione on their date, it is , well, basically common sense. And I agree, what irratated me was that he said exactly the wrong thing each time. But, all in all, they just fell apart... I hope that they will get back together... but that is a pretty slim chance.

Yeah, I honestly don't get where all the hate comes from...I mean, I'm a HHr (and kind of H/L) shipper, but I'm not all like "GO DIE CHO please thanks!" as I've seen expressed before....I don't really see where the hate comes from, I don't find her nearly as objectionable as say, Ginny (though that's for another thread).....I mean, I feel SORRY for the poor girl, who's just had her boyfriend DIE (I mean, can you imagine?! I can't imagine anyone I'm close to who's my age dying--*knocks on wood* poor Cho!), but who always kind of liked Harry as well, and who doesn't have two really close friends--a Ron and Hermione if you will--like Harry does to confide in--I can understand her thinking Harry might be someone she can find comfort in....I hate what they did to her character as far as the sneak thing in OoTP though, total character assasination....at least their kiss looks REALLY hot though!

All in all I was certainly rooting for them in OoTP when she first approaches him, etc, and I think JK really messed this one up (not that she seems to be able to write any romance well as far as I can tell--but then every writer has to have some kind of weakness--Eoin Colfer is another great writer who (as many of his fans admit) can't pull off romance), it did not need to go that badly....I doubt anything more will come of it, but they were still nice (and I don't get the whole "Cho's a flake thing" or the "human housepipe"--well do you expect her to be happy after what happened?! Harry cried after Sirius died--I'm sure he wouldn't appreciate being called the "human housepipe"! And how does crying make you a flake? ).

I love this relationship, and I was devistated when it ending in Order of the Phoenix! Harry and Cho were so great together, and I think they've had the most potential seen in the books to having a strong relationship. It's too bad it's over now...

But, if she comes back as the Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher or something, I won't complain! Maybe they'll even get back together again!

Obviously, after Cedric died, she liked Harry. They did have a pretty strong relationship, they actually went to Hogsmeade together. I hope that they'll get back together.

Everyone is going on and on about how they don't like her as she was crying and stuff but think about it from her point of view. She's still miserable about Cedric dying, don't get so heavy on her. She just wanted to know what happened.

And Harry and Cho were so cute together when they did go out!
If JK Rowling didn't say it was over then I would have said they could still get back together.
But she did say it was officially over and all I'm hoping for is that she and Harry get to be friends.

Cho is cool. I mean, everyone liked her until the fifth book, when she was sad that Cedric died. She was really nice in the fourth book and everything.

I just don't think that she and Harry will get back together... ah well. For a little while there everyone thought they'd be together. Maybe she will be in the seventh book, and she'll do something important in the fight against Voldy!

yeah... after book 5, nobody (cept for me) liked her anymore. I think we're all pretty sure that she and harry will never get back together... *sighs* But, like you said, there is a chance that she will come back for the 7th book. However, I doubt that she will play a major part in the fight against Voldemort..... Probably a minor... The most we can hope for Harry and Cho is that they will actually talk to each other...
Edit: Okay... I know that most of the people on this forum do not support Harry/Cho, however, is it too much to ask more posting on this thread for those of you who do?

I was totally all for the Cho/Harry thing, before Ginny came on the the scene, then i thought they would be better. I still would've liked Cho to be different, perhaps become a more key character. I thought that would happen in her brief appearance in Book 7, but it didn't.

I like this ship. I think that Harry and Cho would have worked out a lot better than Harry and Ginny. Harry and Cho shared at least one meaningful conversation, something Harry and Ginny have never done the entire series.

I think that there was the potential for a really strong relationship there:

And what Lauren said, people don't like this relationship because they don't like Cho. There's nothing wrong with crying, it's just a natural thing to do when something bad happens.

She got on peoples nerves - but she wasn't a supporter of Voldemort.

In order for her to be evil - she'd have to plot against Harry.. Instead of joining the DA.

I almost liked this ship. After a little while of their bickering, I didn't. But I did enjoy that they actually spoke - instead of just snogging, as Harry and Ginny seemed to.

Harry had found that he fancied Ginny. I think that their relationship was a spark to his love life, and Ginny became the flame.

*sigh* here I am again. I just can't let this thread die! Anyway, as hypocritical as I am for leaving and then coming back, I need to post. Griffin-locks pointed out that Cho is not an evil person (something I have been trying to convince a certain somebody for a long time...). She merely gets on people's nerves. (why she does, I don't know, because crying should not irritate an ordinary person, not meaning to insult those of you who do find crying irritating. Personally, I dislike Ginny and H/G however I also think that although Harry could have elongated their relationship, it would have never worked out.

Seriously, do people not have any sympathy for the poor girl? If you have ever lost someone you loved, then you will know that it is a hard thing to get over, and crying is a natural reaction to something that tragic! She is like what, 16? 17? Losing someone like that is hard to deal with at any age, but especially when you are so young.

And if Cho gets on your nerves, how can Ginny not? She has got to be one of the most annoying characters in the whole series! Do not get me started on her, or I will be here all night and it is getting late...

As for evil? Cho is most certainly not evil! Did she or did she not join the DA in the fight against Umbridge and the MoM? Did she ever show any inclination to the Dark Arts or Voldemort? Was she ever downright nasty to anyone? No! So how could she be classed as evil?!

There is a chance, actually i was hoping harry would've married cho in the epilogue and ginny would've just gone off with dean or seamus.
but the writer of the movie OOP mixed up some parts, because cho wasnt the one who leaked the room of requirement to the workers, it was actually marietta edgebomb remember? and thats how she got the words "sneak" on her face? but it never actually mentioned marietta in any other scenes. thats how harry & cho broke up, idk why, they should've gone on forever.

but they were so cute kissing under the MANY mistletoes!

Not saying that I am a Harry-Cho shipper, but for the time that when they were together, they were kinda cute. Harry had a silly crush on her like any teenager really, which I thought was kind of cute. J-Kay made sure to make the readers think Harry had a small crush on her in the POA at the ravenclaw-gryffindor match. And how he was well gutted when he found out that she was going with cedric to the yule ball. I thought that the kiss was cute, under the mistletoe, I was like "aaaw" I wasn't upset though when they broke, I never really sa it going anywhere I guess.

Okay, mini rant. Cho is NOT evil. Harry acted like a major jerk towards her. Yes, she cries. Her boyfriend just tragically died, and she was hoping that her new boyfriend might be able to listen to her and help her through it. Instead, Harry totally brushes her off. I ship Ron/Cho, because Cho came across to me as a sweet girl who went through a hard time.

How do her tears make her weak? She's trying to get past her trauma and start to heal, not be a possessive crybaby.
