Harry's reaction on kissing Cho Chang for the first time...
How was it?
Harry: Wet
Brilliant assessment there!
Also love just about everything Fred & George and Ron say, even if Ron does have "the emotional range of a teaspoon"!

I love Hermione's monologue about how Cho's been feeling and Ron's reaction:
"One person can't feel all that at once, they'd explode!"
"Just because you've got the emotional range of a teaspoon doesn't mean we all have, Ron!"

From OotP:
| QUOTE |
\"Well, I had one that I was playing Quidditch the other night,\" said Ron, screwing up his face in an effort to remember. \"What do you think that means?\"
\"Probably that you're going to be eaten by a giant marshmallow or something,\" said Harry, turning the pages of The Dream Oracle without interest. |
All Time:
The one in my signature... Though, I should probobly translate for you
! My signature is a shortened version of the whole excerpt.
| QUOTE |
\"Oh, are you a prefect, Percy?\" said one of the twins, with a great air of suprise. \"You should have said something, we had no idea.\"
\"Hang on, I think I remember him saying something about it,\" said the other twin. \"Once-\"
\"Or twice-\"
\"A minute-\"
\"All summer-\"
\"Oh, shut up,\" said Percy the prefect. |
I'm just rather in love with Percy, I guess... Percy and Cedric...

Practically everything McGonagall says to Umbridge and trelawney...
just friggin brilliant...
and the most touching one was definetly, accroding to me:
'guess you're not that much like your father, harry. That risk would only have encouraged james'
and that he just leaves then... goosebumps across me spine when i think of it

some of my favorite Harry Potter quotes:
"A week after Fred and George's departure, Harry witnessed Professor McGonagall walking right past Peeves, who was determinedly loosening a crystal chandelier, and could have sworn he heard her tell the poltergeist out of the corner of her mouth, 'It unscrews the other way.' "
" 'Professor Kettleburn, our Care of Magical Creatures teacher, retired at the end of last year in order to enjoy more time with his remaining limbs.' " -Dumbledore
" 'I hope you're pleased with yourselves. We could have been killed -- or worse, expelled!' " -Hermione

Book five huh...
"'Yeah, if we get any hint that Potter's been mistreated in any way, you'll have us to answer to,' said Moody.
Uncle Vernon swelled ominously. His sense of outrage seemed to outweigh even his fear of this bunch of oddballs.
'Are you threatening me, sir?' he said, so loudly that passerby actually turned to stare.
'Yes I am, ' said Mad-Eye, who seemed rather pleased that Uncle Vernon had Grasped this fact so quickly.
'And do I look like the kind of man who can be intimidated?' Barked Uncle Vernon.
'Well...' said Moody, pushing is bowler hat to reveal his sinisterly revolving magical eye. Uncle Vernon leapt backward in horror and collided painfully with a luggage trolly. 'Yes, i'd have to say you do Dursley.'"
Gotta love that... Moody is the best.

These are my favorites:
-"Remember old Fleur Delacour?" said George. "She's got a job at Gringotts to eemprove 'er Eeenglish-"
When the trio are in the Hog's Head:
-"A couple of people?" said Harry hoarsely to Hermione. "A couple of people?"
-... And it might have been a good idea to mention how ugly you think I am too,"Hermione added as an afterthought.
-"But I don't think you're ugly," said Harry bemused

I think I've just found a new favourite...
"Is it those mad horse things?" said Ron uncertainly, staring at a point slightly to the left of the thestral Harry was patting. "Those ones you can't see unless you've watched someone snuff it?"
"Yeah," said Harry.
"How many?"
"Just two"
"Well, we need three," said Hermione. who was still looking a little shaken, but determined all the same.
"Four, Hermione," said Ginny, scowling.
"I think there are six of us, actaully," said Luna calmly, counting.
...Man, Luna is awesome.

"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? RUN!" - This took place when Dobby came to inform Harry that Professor Umbridge was coming! I dunno why I like this quote so much, it kinda sends temporary adrenaline through your body as you read =) Lol, but that's just me.

I like:
"How long have you been 'Big D' then?" said Harry.
"Shut it," snarled Dudley, turning away again.
"Cool name," said Harry, grinning and falling into step beside his cousin. "But you'll always be Ickle Diddykins to me."
"I said, SHUT IT!" said Dudley, whose ham-like hands had curled into fists.
"Don't the boys know that's what your mum calls you?"
"Shut your face."
"You don't tell *her* to shut her face. What about 'popkin' and 'Dinky Diddydums,' can I use them then?"
And everything McGonagall to Umbridge...briliant...and the teaspoon line. Great. And the one between Harry and Hermione about how she's not ugly. Lovely.

Yes, I'm rather fond of that line, I hope they use it in the movie. I probably have more, I just forgot some... Ta ta!

Don't know where I got it from!
"Mr. Moony presents his compliments to Professor Snape, and begs him to keep his abnormally large nose out of other people's business."
"Mr. Prongs agrees with Mr. Moony, and would like to add that Professor Snape is an ugly git."
"Mr. Padfoot would like to register his astonishment that an idiot like that ever became a professor."

"Just because you've got the emotional range of a teaspoon doesn't mean we all have," said Hermione."
AND

But My All Time Fav Quote isn't in the books its in the Movie when Ron wakes up from a nightmare:
Ron Weasley : [sitting bolt upright in bed] Spiders... the spiders... they were making me tap-dance. And I don't want to tap-dance!
Harry Potter : [laughing] Well go and tell those spiders Ron
Ron Weasley : Yeah tell them... I'll tell them tomorrow...

Well, one of my favorites because I have countless of them is from Fred and George....Aren't they geniuses of humor and invention???
Here it goes...
Mrs. Weasley let out a shriek just like Hermione's.
"I don't believe it! I don't believe it! Oh, Ron, how wonderful! A prefect! That's everyone in the family!"
" What are Fred and I, next-door neighbors?" said George indignantly...I just laughed so much in this one, that I had to stop reading for a few seconds....They are marvelous!!!

As someone said earlier, anything between umbridge and mcgonagall would be my favorite. There is one part where they are arguing about harry becoming an auror that i like, but since i cant find it, here's this one..
McGonagall " ...Today we shall be--"
Umbridge "Hem Hem"
" I wonder", said Professor McGonagall in cold fury, turning on professor Umbridge, " How you expect to gain an idea of y usual teaching methods if you continue to interrupt me? You see, I do not generally permit people to talk when I am talking."
LOVE it!!!!
oh, I almost forgot the conversation between mr and mrs weasley about stitches..
" Do you mean to tell me, that you've been messing about with muggle remedies?"
" Not messing about Molly, dear, It was just something Pye and i thought we'd try- only, most unfortunately-well, these perticular kinds of wounds- it doesnt seem to work as well as we'd hoped."
" Meaning?"
" Well, well, i dont know whether you know what- what stitches are?"
" It sounds as though you were trying to sew your skin back together, but even you, arthur, wouldnt be tht stupid-"
" WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT"S THE GENERAL IDEA?"

I don't know why this struck me as so funny, when Hermione says to Ron:
"Grawp's about 16 feet tall, enjoys ripping up 20 foot pine trees, and knows me" she snorted, "as HERMY."
