Okay, so this takes place sort of during the OotP, and even though they would be at Hogwarts for his birthday, lets say it's sort of like they had... a snow day or something. This is just the way I want the setting, and it's fiction for a reason.

"Oh, Severus, you should stop moping. It'll be fun. Molly's got it all planned out for you," stated Dumbeldore, "You need to learn to have a little fun!"

Snape smirked at the idea of him, having fun. What a waste that would be, he thought. He looked at Dumbeldore through his crescent-moon spectacles. He knew Dumbeldore would never let him forget this if he didn't go. Snape's face softened and Dumbeldore nodded his head. They were almost in full sight of Grimmuald Place, when Snape realized exactly what was going on.

There were streamers around the door and above the windows. In the yard there were enchanted flowers that bloomed to spell out "Happy Birthday Severus Snape." As he walked down the sidewalk to the door, he could hear whispers behind it.

“Act surprised, for everyone,” Dumbeldore said. Snape slowly opened the door,

“SURPRISE!”

As soon as he walked in, he felt a wave of cheer all over him. There were small fireworks being set off in the kitchen and he could smell the warmth of the butterbeer and something that smelled like vanilla cake. Molly gleamed at him. Apparently, everyone had went to great lengths to put this party together for him, someone he had thought nobody liked.

“They put a party together for me. But everyone thought I was on the Dark Lord’s side! Oh, I should say something….”

“Uh, thank you everyone,” Snape said. He looked around the kitchen at all the smirking faces, mostly from the students. The whole Order was there, along with most of the Weasley children, Harry, and Hermione. He never realized that a lot of people out there actually cared about him.

"Well don't just stand there, have some cake." Molly was happy that Snape looked pleased. He looked and saw a whole pile of presents in the corner. They were all of different shapes and sizes. Judging some of them, you could tell they were personally wrapped.

They all had some cake and sat down around the table. After they're chitter-chatter for a while, Hermione walked up to Snape, with Ron and Harry trailing behind her. She tapped Snape on the shoulder.

"Professor," Hermione said, "this is from Harry, Ron, I. Erm, Happy Birthday!" She then turned straight around and pulled sulking Ron and Harry back to their seats along with her. Everyone was still involved in their own conversations still, so Snape decided to open his gift. It was one of the few that had a bow on top. As soon as he saw what it was, he looked up at Hermione and smiled.

I'm not a very good writer, but I wanted to write at least something.

Mod Edit: Hi! I edited out some of the ~'s you had in your post. So many characters in succession break up the parchment.

Here is the link for feedback!
