Oh man i hate the sims. I love it when you first start and you make the house but then after about 10 mins in the game i start to find its the same thing all they do is need and need some more. So i always kill them off as that seems more fun.

Yes I have that game, The Sims Deluxe edition, and I also have Sims Hot Date, I like it, but I used to play more before, but I do like to make families and houses of course, I like to decorate them and crea lots of styles, I like the ones with pool and garden in the inside, and the sims hot date I used it sometimes just to take the character shopping or anithing they could do at downtown and the beach.

Hehe, yep, I played The Sims. At first, I found it was interesting, then I found it boring. Heh, I got interested when I killed the people(haha)! I made their lives misrable,messy, untidy, and they didn't have enough sleep~ I always used the cheats though!

I play the sims. i play that when i am not on here posting. i never give my people jobs because i know a cheat that gives them money.

I have the Sims 2 and it's rubbish. Well the graphics suck. And you try to go around the house and there's like a staircase or a wall in the way and you can't see round it! Grrrr! It's better with cheats because then you actually get somewhere.

i like sims, but i really suck at it, and then they get really winey. i have sims 2, but i only have the minimum speed veido card so it runs rrrreeealllyyyy ssllllooooooowwww. yep. my favorite kind is a romance sim. yhea, it's no fun without the money cheat. if they have jobs, then they literaly have no time to do anything. it's defnetly more fun to build the houses and make families.
haha, yes it is very fun to make sims miserable. i've never acctualy killed them. i give up before they do. i really want to get the university expansion, but it's 'too expensive'. anybody got any tips? my dad's cusin acctualy worked on makeing sims 2, so i knew alot about it before it came out.

agh! stupid, stupid, stupid! I made this enormous elaborate house and it was all nice and stuff, and my family was really cool. And they had a baby and jobs then the dad had to start a STUPID fire when he was cooking his quick meal!! And he wouldn't move out of the doorway (because he was too busy yelling and freaking out) and so the fireman couldn't get in to estinguish and then the dad died. And to make it worse, the daughter went and died when she tried morning his urn! WHY would you morn an urn, when your kitchen is on fire?! The sim people have NO common sense.

Sim killer? lmao! I guess you could call it that. I play a really sadistic game that my brothers friend made up called Sim survivor. Basically you get eight sims, put them in one house, and put them through rounds of life threatening situations. (such like swimming in the pool with no ladder, or being in a room filled with fire) The one who survives the longest after all the rounds, gets a big house and a fistful of cash.

You know what I hate about sims 2? The annoying Nana. She's like in your house to take care of baby and she starts eating your food, bathing in your bath tub, (oh god. *shudder*) and sleeping on your couch. Not to mention she started a freaking fire when she tried to cook lobster! And the baby died! And then when I fire her, she gets all pissed at me! See? NO common sense. She didn't even morn his urn.

i don,t like sims. it is tedious for me. my friends play in it but i don,t understand them.

Sims 2 and the University pack are great...it is my favourite thing to do if I;m not studying or reading Harry Potter...you cant compare anything until you play Sims 2 though...its sooo much different than the first one (whoch I also own all of plus the expansions packs for all)

you can by pressing ctrl+shift+C the box will pop us..if you type help it will display most cheats..I have a paper but I dont know whrere it came from...you can also go to google and search for "sims2 cheats" and a whole list of websites will come up PM me if you want specifics...like I said I have a list of them

Hey everyone with sims2, if you get the nightlife official game guide, it comes with cheats!

I have the Sims one and I have all the games that you get for it and its so cool altogether...But I am a terrible person cos I killed my sims twice in a fire as the carpet caught fire! And to add to that, me the stupid one, placed the carpet in the kitchen

I should be ahamed..I know But its so funny!
Then a few weeks ago I got the sims2 nightlife and universiy and its so cool!Its so much better than the first sims!

There is another extension pack for the sims2! It's called the glamorous life stuff. You just basically get new things, but they are awesome! It comes out next month in August.

i have never played sims but it looks really fun i just never got into it. i guess it is because my computer always takes forever to load it but one of these days i will get it but from what i hear about all of the sims games they seem pretty awesome.

You definitely have to get the sims 2 Harry_Ginny777. It's awesome!!! It can get a bit boring at times, but you can always make a family to torture! hee hee!

Ooooh! I absolutely love the Sims! I have the Sims 1 with 90% of the expansion packs, and Sims 2 and Sims 2 Nightlife. I have so many funny stories on there, I love it.

One time me and my friend made a family that was both of our families mixed together. We made her borther wear really funny clothes and pink lipstick. it was really funny.

I just found out about that one website, where you can download all kinds of great Harry Potter stuff: Send your Sims to Hogwarts, let them meet teachers and pupils there, increase their magic abilities etc.
And some gifted person even custom made a Fat Lady portrait, that swings open like a door.
I think it´s marvelous... though my boyfriend´s starting to call me a weirdo. Well, he´probably right, but it´s still so much fun!

I am a Sims addict! I have the Sims and the expansion packs on PC, I have Bustin Out on Xbox, and the Sims 2 Pets on PC. I have Hp charactors as my Sims. It was so funny yesterday, Ron and Hermione are married with like 3 kids, well Ron was abducted by aliens after looking through the telescope and boom..he gets pregnant! I know weird! He ends up giving birth to an alien baby appropriately named Luna Lovegood! That game is hilarious! Draco is married to Pansy, Ginny to Harry, and Neville, Seamus and Cho are roomies. You can have so much fun with those games. I am going to get University, the Christamas edition, and the Downtown one also.

I was wondering if anyone here knows if you can buy the Sims 2 for PS2 and if it's as good as it is on the PC? because my PC is a bit slow so it takes ages for the Sims 2 to load on it.

It´s Modthesims2.com. Take a look around and you´ll find a lot of Harry Potter related stuff. There´s also a pensieve and a magical career and an absoluteyl adorable "The Burrow" house.
I think you need to register, but it´s for free. No strings attached. I´ve been around there for some time now and haven´t had any problems with viruses and stuff.
If you´ve never downloaded anything before, make sure to check how to install the content before downloading it. Also check the expansion packs listed for each download otherwise they gonna crash your game. (I downloaded a great Privet Drive and didn´t read that you needed Open for business or something. The house was -2.756.389 Simleons ...yes, minus... and it crashed my game each time I tried to drag and drop it.)

I love the Sims! I have Sims 2. it is so entertaining, fun, and detailed. Mostly I have organized, successful people but once in a while it's nice to make a completely ludicrous family and just do fun stuff with them just to see what happens. But sometimes if I kill someone off or watch someone mourn a loss I actually feel guilty!
It's an awesome game. Talking about it makes me want to go run off and play it right now.
The only thing is that it takes up SOO much memory on our computer.

I've made numerous Harry Potter Sims. Aaah it is the most fun. I made a Sim of my family as well, and put them all on free will. The Weasleys came to welcome us to the neighborhood, and I nerded out. Then my Sim started dating George Weasley. Ahaha. (It was pure coincidence that he was my quiz result on the Sorting Forum.) :)

I have now also played The Sims 2 on PSP well its my friends game but she let me borrow it for a while. Its a bit like the Sims Bustin Out i think well i've only played Bustin Out on Gameboy Advance it might be different on the pc or something.

i love sims even though i only have the first sims i wish i was able to buy the second one...but it costs a lot. im so used to sims and i play it so much that there would be no way for me to play without using the cheats....yes i cheat...

Oh shame on you Polandbaby16!! i'm just kidding!!Everyone cheats i know its the first sims you have but if you ever buy the sims 2 for the pc there is a really good cheat to get your money up :

1. Go into pause mode.
2. Then press Shift, Alt and C together.
3. Then a white bar will appear at the top of the page.
4. Then type in motherlode.
5. Keep doing that until you are satsfied with your amount of money(look in the bottom left hand corner, it tells you how much Simoleons you have).

No I haven't seen it before but you are probably right that would take a lot of work!!! To be honest with you i would never be able to do it even if I tried my hardest!!

I tried to play without cheating once. I ended up having a baby with some guy who I didn't marry, then, when the child was...a child my sim just dropped dead. but that guy was living there at the moment so...lol...I don't know how the sim died...she just...she wasn't even sick.it was quite comical really.
