"Prongs! Over here!" shouted at deep voice from the left. James glanced over his left shoulder at his parents and they nodded. He clapped his hands enthusiastically and ran over to his friend.
"Ahh, Padfoot my lad, how was your summer with the 'rents?" he asked, smacking his friend on the shoulder. Padfoot's smile faded and was replaced with an angry scowl. "So I'm guessing not to great then ?"
"Oh mate, don't get me started. Regulas was talking to my parents about me again and my mum blew up. She stared screechin' and yellin'.. you know, the usual. Yours?" he asked. He blew his hair out of his face and followed James over to his parents.
"It was great! Well if you take out the part about me sending an owl to Evans place, asking her out again, then getting a howler in return. Then it was fantastic." James replied. His parents shook his friends hand and they started small conversation.
"Hello Sirius dear. How are you? Dashing I hope? I supposed you now about James' athletic award he received this summer? We are very pleased." Mrs. Potter said quickly.
"Now now, Holly dear. We don't want Sirius getting confused with all your ranting now do we? Only joking Holly! Only joking!" Mr. Potter said avoiding getting hit with his wife's purse. James and Sirius both smirked and laughed.
"I am fine thanks for asking Mr. & Mrs P. And yes I did hear about James' award. It is... fascinating to hear." Sirius said , stiffling a laugh. James nudged Sirius hard in the ribs and laughed.
"Well Mum, dad, we better get going. Remus and Peter are probably waiting for us. See you on Easter. Bye." James grabbed a hold of Sirius' upper arm and pulled him away quickly so he didn't have to endure with being mauled by his mother. They boarded the train and walked down the hallway looking for their compartment. James and Siris both smiled as they past a girls compartment , which they both received very happy smiles from all of the girls, except one.

"Oh my gosh! James Potter and Sirius Black are looking so fine this year! Wouldn't you agree Lils?" asked Tamika. Lily stared at Tamika, shocked.
"James Potter? Good looking? I highly doubt it. He is so arrogant and ... and he's such a bullheaded frog! He is not good looking." she ranted.
"Oh Oh! Lily didn't say anything about Sirius!" shouted Lilyi's other friend Alyssia. Lily was silent for a moment and rolled her eyes.
"So what? Just because I don't say anything about him, doesn't mean I like him." she mumbled. Alyssia and Tamika smirked.
"We didn't say anything about you liking him Lily.. you don't like him... do you?" asked a small voice from the corner. Tamika, Lily and Alyssia stared at Elisabeth. They all knew that she had a huge crush on Sirius, but Lily couldn't be that rude to her best friend. Could she?

A boy about the age of 15, with very messy black hair, had stumbled his way across the platform of 9 3/4. His dark hazel eyes were peering over the tops of many peoples heads, looking for his best friends. James Potter's parents followed close behind him grinning.
"Prongs! Over here!" shouted at deep voice from the left. James glanced over his left shoulder at his parents and they nodded. He clapped his hands enthusiastically and ran over to his friend.

"Oh my gosh! James Potter and Sirius Black are looking so fine this year! Wouldn't you agree Lils?" asked Tamika Stenson. Lily stared at Tamika, shocked.
"James Potter? Good looking? I highly doubt it. He is so arrogant and ... and he's such a bullheaded frog! He is not good looking." she ranted.
"Oh Oh! Lily didn't say anything about Sirius!" shouted Lily's other friend Alyssia Brown. Lily was silent for a moment and rolled her eyes.

James and Sirius walked into their compartment, grinning and they greeted their friends warmly.
"Good to see you Moony! How's your furry little problem treating you?" asked Sirius smiling. Remus chuckled and hugged him.
"It's treating me well thanks for asking Padfoot." Remus replied and laughed. "James, you don't look to happy. What's up your arse?" James just looked at Remus and grimaced.
"Well obviously not Evans, I can tell you that much , Moony!" snickered Sirius. James punched Sirius hard in the arm and he bent down, howling in pain.
"Just not having a good day I guess." he replied. James messed up his hair and drew a long breath. It was quiet in the compartment when a tiny squeaky voice sounded from the corner,
"Are we there yet?"

An hour had passed and Hogwarts was approaching rather quickly. Everyone seemed to take notice of this and they were bustling around getting their robes on. James told his friends that he was going for a walk after he got his robes on. He first walked to the lady with the trolley, bought some sweets then walked around the hallways. James walked by a compartment of girls at least three times before opening it.
"Any beautiful ladies needing any help with their robes? Cause... I can help." he said jokingly. Lily rolled her eyes and ignored James. Tamika twirled her hair and chewed hard on her gum.
"Hey James." she said flirtatiously, "How was your summer?" she put her hand on his arm softly and gave him a sultry look.
James gave a nervous cough and shrugged her hand off. "Uh-.. It was fine, thanks, Tamika. Y-Yours?"
Tamika smacked hard on her gum again before she answered, "It was pretty lonely, but it would've been nice if you were up there with me." she winked.
Okay, it had been pretty obvious ever since first year that Tamika had had the hugest crush on James, and he thought that after the years she would get over him, but it got worse.
"T-thanks.. Tamika.." he said.
Lily rolled her eyes again and tried to push past him.
