If you could own one magic object, what would it be?

I would have said invisibility cloak but that wasn't there...
Anyway, my vote was for a wand, of course...how else will I be doing all my magic??!

Aw, gotta be a broomstick. No competition. The idea of being able to fly is just...wow. Plus, I'd sell my granny to be able to play Quidditch.

I'd love to be a beater, great for stress relief.

Oh.. I’d definitely have to go for a wand. Some sort of basic instruction manual would be nice too!
I wouldn't however say no to a time turner. I'd never have to stress out about dead lines again! Although if I did have a time turner I’d probably never get any thing done so I’ll stick with the wand!

I would get a wand because then i could Summon other magical objects that i wanted.

I like this poll =D But too bad there are some things that I just can't decide which one I would want more.
Invisibility Cloak: Oh god, you don't know how many times I could sneak out of the house with it...that would be so awesome.
Wand: With it, you can do nearly almost every spell/charm/incantation possible with a little education. Quite useful, I must say.
Broom: What Dana said...just the though of being able to fly is just utterly amazing (and that's an understatement). Although I am sort of scared of heights.
Pensieve: My memory is not that great, trust me..So a pensieve would be most useful for storing them (like informational memories...). Plus, it's better than pictures because you can actually seeing them live. And when you're taking a test when you're under pressure from personal problems, you can always put those aside in the pensieve and concentrate on your test instead (assuming that a pensieve could do that...)

I chose a time turner , because sometimes I wish I could go back time

A wand can do everything I'd ever want to make use of. So got to be a wand.

Thanks for the replies
Sorry, I forgot about the invisibilty cloak.
Nice to see no one wants the philosopher's stone.
If I chose one magic object it would be the Pensieve because there are many memories I desire to retain and twice as many I'd like to leave.

I voted for Wand. With the wand I would make a broom flying, I can't remeber what the spell is called.

Too true LLTWK.
If you ignore wand, what other magical item would you choose?
Instead, pretend wand says invisibility cloak

I would choose a wand because it would be so useful, but the pensieve came in close second. You could look back on your favorite memories whenever you wanted to and see them in perfect detail!

Hmmm.... Prob have to go with Invisibility Cloak. Maybe Broomstick. Tough choice. Though, I'd rather have flying Air Jordans. Less splinters.

a wand for sure, you can do so many things with it, the disillusionment chram to be invisible and having other chrams so you dont have to clean your room

or being able to make things fly or bind them in a body lock hehe just so much you can do with a wand

okay, first of all...the wand?!
its a totally useless thing to us muggles.
how could anyone want a wand when they arent even wizards...hehe
anyway, the time-turner would be really useful...
doesnt need skill...you just need to be careful

Following a request I received today, the poll has been edited to include an option for Invisibility Cloak...for all those who haven't voted yet...sorry, but there's no way of changing it now if you've already voted...
Let that be a lesson...one wish and y'all blew it on a daft wand...I dunno....

Yeah, I'd definitely take a wand, being the most important artefact in case of Witchcraft / Wizardry...i'd also like a Pensieve, only if it was the one which belongs to Dumbledore...yeah, that'd be GREAT

... i'd even like a broomstick...but if i have a wand, i can enter Diagon Alley and get myself a broomstick!!

wand, no question about it, even if i didn't know any spells.
and if i could have 2 magical objects, i'd have an invisibility cloak.

The wand definitely because it will do all of the magic that I'll made will almost depend on my wand.

hmm isn't this a little wierd. 63% in this polle has voted for "wand". Why is that? You couldn't do anything with it because you don't have magical blood in you like wizards have. But I think you could fly a broom or use a time tuner, so almost everybody voteing for "wand" is a little wierd, isn't it?

What other thing cold I choose besides a wand? Honestly what magical thing would be better? A wand is unique to you, no one else has a wand thats exactly the length, wood, and magical item that yours is. And things like that are just plane fun to hold.

You couldn't possible do a single thing with a wand because you're a Muggle !

^^ The only problem is that you can't do anything with a Pensieve without a wand.

If you narrow the items for a non-magic person, I'd say Muggles and Squibs can use
- sneakoscope
- invisibility cloak
Neither require magic power from the user and it doesn't take a genius to pay attention to a glass spinning top whirlling and whistling.
Imagine, Lulu, imagine...

If you were a wizard you would have a wand anyway so then you choose a different item because you get your wand at the first year you ar to begin at Hogwarts.

Oh dear....getting a little pedantic in here, aren't we?
Come on now, play nicely please or big bad Dana will take away all your magical toys and then you'll have nothing to play with, squib or wizard.
Let's assume, if you chose the wand, you could use it as a wizard, okay? Let's move it along, please.
