I've told Matthew, so he might mention it on the main site, but I found this after being reminded at 03:00 the other morning by Comic Relief

It's the spoof: Secret Chamberpot of Azerbaijan [26.8MB zip file, containing just the video]

With:
Dawn French as Harry
Jenifer Saunders as Ron
Jeremy Irons as Snape
Basil Brush as Dobby
Miranda Richardson as Hermione
and more

My apologies for the annoying screaching noise in the background, but I couldn't find any other examples.

Oh I found the link HERE

It's an Alan Rickman world of videos and few other things.

Don't forget the Saturday Night Live (SNL) sketch that's lurking around the Internet also, made me giggle laugh.gif

It's in the Snape section

Ah, you started the thread!! biggrin.gif

I thought that sketch was from this year, but my brother-in-law informed me that it was from last year's event apparently, so I can't believe I never noticed that one before!!

Anywho, great stuff, dazzo! Really funny...especially Jeremy Irons as Snape - he actually did a pretty good job! Not that anyone could replace Alan, of course, but all the same it was kind of creepy to see someone doing the role with the same kind of charisma. Alan still has the edge, but Jeremy certainly has the whole creepy aura thing going on.

And Jennifer Saunders was soooo funny as JKR!!! The irony of Ronnie Corbett as Hagrid was classic... biggrin.gif

I watched it the third time today and I still have a good laugh out of it!! Thanks for pointing that out Dazzo! Us living outside the UK have quite a limited idea of what else you've been having over there besides the actual films and books.

Dumbledore speech on welcoming the students was hilarious! Looked like he's choking on a meatball or something! tongue.gif And McGonagall was awesome too! 'I only says 'Lemon Sherbet' and 'What's the matter, Harry?', they could have me done in a day but they kept me here for three years...' Haha!! Great one!

Anybody manage to catch Jeremy's lines during the welcome feast? It's not really clear... all I got was 'Very good wig this time, more natural swing.... better cufflinks... slow blink... (and of course!) God, I'm gorgeous!' (got a good teary laugh on that one! wink.gif)

Oh, and the bickering between Jeremy and 'Dobby' on Lord of the Rings...
'My precious, my precious...' 'Well, I didn't see it so I don't know what's that supposed to be' laugh.gif LMAO!!! God, I got tears in my eyes again... tongue.gif

I loved it, it was absolutely hillarious. I rolled over at Ron/Rupert's parts (Aaahhh!)
Jeremy Irons was fantastic, I think he's a brilliant actor, the Snape stuff was just hillarious.

Secret Chamberpot of Azerbaijan says it all. I thought this was funny but if i think right. After Dawn French played harry in that she got the real part of the fat lady in the movie and was so shy seeing dan because she had done that. wink.gif laugh.gif

The Comic Relief sketch and the SNL sketch are really creative. I love the SNL one so much.
Tenebrus
Ah that comic relief one is funny, made me laugh. Especially when she gets off the broomstick and starts hitting draco with it laugh.gif

LMAO ROTFL!!! *wipes tears from eyes*

OMG this is such a crack-up!! laugh.gif Laughter is most certainly the best medicine, cheered me up a great deal, it did!! smile.gif Life hasn't been too peachy for me of late, so this was just the thing I needed!! happy.gif

I'm trying to think of the best bit, the part which I enjoyed the most, but I just can't!! I loved every single second of it!! biggrin.gif Every thing about it just gets me in stitches!!

Oh and I have to agree with Louise about Jeremy Irons. Man, Alan Rickman's doing a brilliant job with the character of course, but I gotta say, Jeremy Irons would have been absolutely wicked playing Snape as well!!

Oh btw zyra, this is what he said in the Great Hall:

"Harry Potter...very good wig this time...good length...more natural swing...sinister good looks...better cufflinks...elongates the fingers, my idea...slow blink...God, I'm gorgeous"

LMAO!!
zyra123
OMG mate!! You've finally watched it!! I take it your laptop is fixed? Yay!! Great one, isn't it?? laugh.gif LOL!!

Thanks for the wording... wink.gif makes me want to watch it again tonight. Can't believe I'm having fit of laughter still!!! tongue.gif

I love every seconds of it too!! wink.gif

Well, if you need a good laugh, you know you have one waiting now... wink.gif

Merlin's pants! This video is awesome!!!

This has got to be the best parody I've ever seen! Jeremy Irons looks su much like Snape! It's unbelievable! Professor McGonagall is so uptight, and uses the same intonation as Maggie Smith, but funnier! And even the actor who plays Hagrid looks like Robbie Coltrane!

Whenever I want to have a good laugh, I watch it, and I haven't found any parody as good as this, not even Saturday Night Live's!

It's simply hilarious!!!

EDIT: One extremelly funny part:
Prof. McGonagall: "Am I Slytherin?"
Prof. Snape: "No dear, I can understand every word you're saying."

Hahaha! Seriusly! Hilarious!

That *snif* was the most *snif* hialrious thing I'd ever *snif* seen! It is seriously the FUNNIEST thing in the world! biggrin.gif Oh, I have to show my friend this. It is seriously HILARIOUS, I am in love with it (goes 2nd after alkisti's avatar tongue.gif).

Who found this? I love you smile.gif

It was all hilarious, I have no favorite part! They're all seriously HILARIOUS! And the woman that played Harry... is she really the Fat Lady? Cool! smile.gif I'll have to say, my favoriet parts are:
- psssspsssspss OOOOHHH 'the chamberpot has been emptied' LMAO!:D
- well, i haven't read the books... HILARIOUS happy.gif

I love it so much, my favorite video in the world! (but you have to check out alkisti's avatar... tongue.gif)
