WB is claiming and trying to make HBP "Oscar worthy". If so then in which category do you think it is most likely to win?

Visual Effects might be a possible category. From some of the pictures I've seen, they look like they could maybe be nominated. I think they should and will be nominated for some big awards, even if they're not Oscars. The movies are good though, in terms of movies and visual effects.
Is there a category for Best Adaption from a Book? If they do good with DH, then it might win! Haha, I'm assuming it will be better than all the other movies because they're splitting it.

The best movie EVER. Well, I guess they can't do that, because that movie would definately be Deathly Hallows. But, I'm sure it could go up for a few different things. Best Movie of the year, hottest actors and actresses in one movie, best series ever.
Just Kidding!!
I don't really know a whole lot of terminology for the Oscar's and everything, so maybe some of my fake categories could make it in there somewhere.

HBP should definately win the Oscar for Most Anticipated Movie. Snape will certainly win the Oscar for "Best Villain", Bellatrix will win the Oscar for "Best Evil Witch". Dumbledore deserves the Oscar for "Best Alterior Motive" and Tom Riddle a.k.a. Voldermort will win the Oscar for "Best Flying Wizard" since there will be no other nominees. Luna will walk away with the Oscar for "Wildest Imagination" and she has a good chance of winning another one in the category of "Staying Cool when Everything Goes To Hell". Let's not forget our dear Hermiony who will surely win the Oscar for "Worst-Taste-In-Boys". We can't leave Ginny without an Oscar so let's give her the one for being "Best Tease". Ron will win in the "How-Thick-Are-You?" category and Harry ought to be the winner of "Better Late then Never" Oscar. Draco will give a difficult fight with Wormtail for the Oscar for "Making the Worst Decision".

I definitely think that HBP would have a good chance at winning some award whether it's for the Oscars or not. In my opinion, it would most likely win for visual effects and maybe even costume designer because, if you think at how much work they put into both of those categories (and how well they turn out) they should have a pretty good chance. I absolutely cannot wait for these last movies to come out! Soo excited!

Well, other than visual effect, there's costume, make up, and score. I think all of those categories could earn them nominations. There could be editing, sound mixing and editing too. And the cinematography for the past three films has been really beautiful, especially in PoA and OotP. It could be nominated from book to movie adaptation, or art direction. It could be nominated for a lot of stuff, I think. And of course if one of the cast put on a really amazing performance, like Alan Rickman or something, then I can see someone getting nominated for that.
I think we'll have to wait and see just how good a movie HBP is. It could be worst, it could be the best. We don't know yet.

Linux felicis, How would Snape win be best villian. Isnt the main antagonist of book 6(only book six) Draco malfoy?

Pure-blood Slytherine: I think Snape was considered the vilain until we understood in book 7 why he did what he did, so this is how he could be considered the main candidate for this category.
