I was just listening to the order of the phoenix on my MP3 player, and I was at the part where Cho and Harry kiss. It cuts off right before the kiss but then it skips to half an hour later. surely the kiss didn't last half an hour, and as the ROR and Griffindor common room it couldn't have taken half an hour to reach the common room. Hogwarts isn't that big. Just made me wonder if anything else happened.

Well wouldnt you just assume something did? I mean both Harry and Cho are 15, and as far as we know Harry has never been this close to another girl. And Cho has been with Cedric, who as we all know was very popular and very outgoing. Im sure something did happen. Im being a little bit of a steriotype. But im sure something did. But nothing like reeeally bad. Just a little more maybe? or just a good long kiss? It depends?

I would assume that the kiss probably just led to a nice make-out session. That would nicely account for the thirty minutes. I don't think that they would really have dared do anything more than make out on the grounds of Hogwarts, but I'm sure that making out would have been quite enjoyable...

It could of taken that long if he was in shock, which he was about what just happened. He probably dragged his feet not paying attention to where he was going. He could have gone anywhere and had to turn around. But since he was in shock he didnt know what had happened from the kiss to the time he was sitting next to Ron and Hermione.

In the aftermath isn't something said about Cho crying on Harry's shoulder? Perhaps there was a bit of crying, a bit of talking, and a bit of kissing, and then, as someone said, Harry making his way dreamily up to the Gryffindor common room. That could have easily taken 30 minutes
