What would your Erised turn to?

My Erised would probably show me myself, being a littler thinner (it's a girl thing, I know *lol*). My daughter would of course with me - she'd look as she always does, because she is perfect.
I'd be done with university... hm, and there'd probably be a bunch of children I didnt have yet. *lol* My husband would be there, of course.
And I'd just be happy with my life - whichever way it led me.

Actually I'm pretty much satisfied with the life I have now, so I can't really tell anything interesting.

You know this would be a great quiz.... Okay, mine would be getting into Princeton when I got older, with a full scholarship, my dog and cat and family, and then going to Harvard law school. Which is alot like what I want to happen.

What would I see if I looked into the mirror of Erised...hmmm... that's a good question. I would see my daughter living a healthy, happy life in a world with out war or terrorism. I think I would also see my wallet a little fatter (to be without any financial difficulties through out my life). I think that's about it.

I would see myself graduated in psychologie and my friends and family surrounding me. I look healthy and happy and I would be a little bit taller than I am right now. My life is pretty good as it is, I guess. Well just let me add that I want to see myself with a note which shows that I've won a million dollars, no wait ...make it euros

my erised would probably turn into me with my true love maybe a child. A record deal and a platnum album. I love singing. I would also have a degree in something andn the best friends in the world. Also have no finacial problems and a happy life. Even if this all does come true it won't be for a long time since I am only 12.

i would see myself with the boy that i love named jodi he works at the grocery store that i go to

Probably me with my own tv show on the Discovery Chanel, sailing around the world on a large scientific research ship, and working with sharks to help find cures for degenerative diseases. Also many tan musceled crew men doing my bidding *drool*

I would see myself 10 years younger and living in the Harry Potter world as a witch! I would of course either go to Hogwarts or teach there, either way is fine with me, and The Dark Lord would be gone forever, having been dealt with by Harry who happily lives on to a ripe old age!

I think i would see myself, happy in work, surrounded by my family with no health worries and with no money worries either.

I actually don't know what I would see. I really want to be a video game designer. But I don't think it would turn into that.. I have really always wanted to play in the NFL or the NBA, so maybe I would see myself winning the Super Bowl. I would also like to date someone like Jessica Alba.

I was having this discussion with a friend of mine the other day, when I was telling her about this thread. She asked me what I'd put and I told her I that I hadn't answered yet. The number of times I've started writing a response based on what I'd think would be my desire and then deleted it because I thought, no- I'd want XX as well. or I'd ask myself the question as to how that would make me a better person?

I think if I answered with anything, there's always something else that I'd want on top of that. There's a lot of things that I want in my life, for my future and that sort of thing, but I also believe that they will come in time. Or I'd imagine that I'd see things- like being surrounded by friends- that I already have.

So, given the current state of my life, I think I can honestly say that I'd see me exactly as I am living the life that I'm leading. I'm pretty happy with who I am and what I have.


(Then again for my birthday, I always tell people that I want Elijah Wood in a big red box....)

my erised would show my mother standing by me, and i'm holding a baby.
the reason my mother would be there is that she died about 2 1/2 years ago and i still really miss her. i'd be holding a baby cause i know that i really want one sometime.

In the mirror I would see me standing with a normal happy life true friends sucessful actress or writer and with Dan Radcliffe or Robert Pattison by my side lol tehehehe

Wow everybody in here is so practical about their desires ... not me I have a different answer today from my last effort. Now if I looked into the mirror I would see myself lying on a fifty foot rental yaght (I dont want to own it, too much looking after) with a glass of Bolli in one hand and my favourite man in the other *lol*. There would be a perfectly cloudless blue sky and no wind. My wet snorkling gear would be lying on the deck drying out after having just arrived back from a swim around the coral bombies that make up the Great Barrier Reef. The yaght would be cruising back to the jetty at Port Douglas where we would then disembark and head back to our amazing room at the Sheritan Mirage Resort *sigh* I could go on and on, but you get the idea.

I think that the mirror would show me kissing with a classmate that I have a crush on for a year now.

If I looked in the mirrior, I would see myself meeting JK rowling! Kind of obvious, but it is a lifelong dream! I would be so awesome to meet her!

Well, I really don't know. Maybe it would be me with my degree finished, having a place of my own to work in and still having the basics in my life: track & field, my family, my boyfriend, my friends... Pretty basic stuff

my erised would be me in Juliard on an acting scholarship. i would be the happiest person in the world, and i would be working with the best actors in the country {my idols}. my blonde hair would be back {it's been fading to brunette for years}. My husband {who also attends Juliard} will be by my side. there's a beautiful sunset behind us, and the temperature is not too hot, and not too cold, with a soft breeze blowing our hair just perfect. and last, i'm the happiest person on the earth.

my erised would be a plate of 99c bagels. I mean, COME ON. WHERE CAN YOU GET A BAGEL FOR 99 CENTS?

If I looked into the mirror of Erised I would probably see myself going out with the guy I like and we would both be happy. If i didn't see that I would probably see myself in about 5-6 years from now, out of college, living on my own, married, and having a good job.

Come to think of it my Erised would show world peace and me getting back together with my ex and ending up marrying him. THouhg Dan Radcliffe would be nice too. Oh and I would love to snog Snape just to see if he was good at it lol

I think that my erised would turn into basically me being happy. What I really want to do is become a judge, so Id probably be in my gown judges outfit/onsomble, and I would have all of my family around me

Now that's a rather personal question, isn't it? I don't know... I don't think there's anything that I want really, really badly. My desires are pretty shallow -- they vary with my mood. I wouldn't say no to a college acceptance letter at the moment... but on the other hand, a normally functioning computer mouse isn't sounding that bad either... or a power failure in the middle of my fifth period class, or for some really deep meaning to come literally leaping out of Beowulf. You name it! Yeah, I'm pretty happy with my life right now...

I'm pretty sure mine would probably be a collage of different places all over the world. Since what I desire the most is to travel, seek adventures and just see the world I mean "its a big world out there" - Count Oleff (Lemony Snicket).

It would probably show also the love of my life...haven't found one yet but oh well!

No, you misunderstood!! What I meant was, DON'T write one liners!!! ACK. But even if you were saying you were going to try not to, that last post was a one-liner, which negates the trying. But hopefully next post you'll expand a bit.

But anyway, also try to stray away from netspeak. (Ty, k, etc) It's easier for people who don't know English that well to read the posts, and it can get annoying for the other members. Also, it make you seems more intelligent when arguing an opinion.

I'd see myself carrying a wand, because I want to be a witch, of course. I'd be talking to my good friend Luke, because he died from cancer last year, when he was only 10. *sniff* I miss you, Luke! *tear tear* And I'd be snogging Rupert Grint. But I think that's it, because right now, I am a very very happy and lucky individual...lots of friends...a great boy...smarts...musical and dramatic talent...a good family...the best little brother ever...Harry Potter books...you get the picture.

i would probably see myself, some years from now, with a great family. my wife, son, daughter, dog. being able to see that I succeded in life and have a perfect, happy life.

well of course nobody actually knows what their deepest most desperate desire is really. but i hope that i would see myself taking all the evil out of the world and having nothing but good in it. i would also like to see myself as a wizard

Wow, this is actually probably the hardest question I've ever tried to answer. Obviously I have certain shallow desires, just like everyone else, and even other not so shallow desires such as to be successful in my life. None of these things seems like the deepest desire of my heart right now, though, because I'm actually very content with my life. What I want most... and really what everyone wants most... is happiness, and I have that. So at the moment I'm going to say I would see me not pushing away the people I think care too much about me (my biggest flaw, right there). But that could change, or even be totally wrong as it is.

Well right now...I REALLY REALLY have a bad crush on this guy in my class...and I'd really love to say hisname..but lolz...donno if he his friends still visit Veritaserum...so my Mirror of Erised would turn to be me with Daniel...secretly he has a major crush on me...and I know that but I just play along...but really everything I wanted
