Has MAJOR Spoilers!
I have noticed that we have unofficial fan clubs for characters ranging from Hermione to Ron to Sirius to Dumbledore to Harry himself, plus more. All these unofficial fan clubs for the wizards and witches, but why not one for the house elves.....let put Hermione's hard work on S.P.E.W. to good work and start an unofficial fan club for house elves.
First question......
Which house elf do you like better and why?

***You need to mark this thread to have spoilers***Which house elf do you like better and why?Well I love all the house elves! Dobby, Kreacher, Winky, and the other House Elves in the world. Especially the ones who work at Hogwarts making yummy treats. But its terrible they don't get vacation, money, etc. Since I have to pick my favorite I'd have to say Dobby! No becuase I love Dobby and Kreacher. This is a hard one.
Dobby, becuase he was brilliant. He helped Harry in his time of need. Not only helping him in Chamber of Secrets but also throughout all the books. He helped Harry spy on Draco, even little Kreacher helped. Dobby helped Harry find a place for the D.A. Even helping Harry and friends escpae from Malfoy Manner. Thats the night he lost his life. (My eyes are starting to water.) Dobby was a Hero through and through. He was there when Harry needed him. Also he was stylish in his many different outfits. My favorite was the teacozy he wore

. Also using his small pay to buy Harry a present. Dobby was such a caring elf. I wish his life was spared. I am happy he died free...
Kreacher, becuase he was such a greatelf like Dobby. He may have been mean to begin with but its becuase Sirius was such an terrible master. Don't get mad at me Sirius fans, he was an mad master. Telling Kreacher to kill himself. I was scared throughout the whole OoP that Kreacher would commit suicide. Most of my friends luaghed when I was at the movies and said How cute when they showed Kreacher in the OoP. Kreacher was so nice baking pies, and etc. for the trio. I still love it when he Held the frying pan and started beating Mudungus!
I have a Question!
What do you think happened to Kreacher? (Did he live with Harry and Ginny or was he set free?)

I believe he was given the choice to be set free, becuase as youi know most house elves thought of that as being a "bad elf", which to be honest I highly doubt Krecher would have wanted to be set free. His biggest ambition was to have his head chopped off and hung from the cieling like his mothers. However, I do believe that he stayed with Harry and Ginny. I also do believe that Harry and Ginny paid him, gave him vacation time, etc.

I thought the same. He most likely did stay with Hary & Ginny! How you say give him vacation. I pictured Kreacher walking along the Great wall of China, and at the top of the Eiffel Tower! lol I have an over active imagination.

I could Harry and Ginny sitting down with Krecher like 2 weeks before school lets out for the summer and telling Kreacher that they are going on vacation here....now he has the choice on whether he would like to go on vacation with them or so where else. But hey, I don't know I don't know how well he'd do walking on the Great Wall of China or the Eiffel Tower.....he might be afraid of hights.
Would Kreacher vacation with or without Harry and Ginny? If without, where do you think he'd like to go?

I see him going on vacations by himself. I am guessing he would go to the places his old Masters and Mistresses once went. Other than that he'd go to number twelve and just stay there minding his own strange buisness. Honestly I do think he'd go on vacation with Harry and Ginny but only when Lily was going on the vacation too. For some odd reason I see Kreacher to liking Lily more. It would be great to see Lily gathered in a circle at some meeting with Hermione. All talking about S.P.E.W.

Hey There! Great idea
Tonkzzz_777!
Which house elf do you like and why? Although i really do love all of the house elves, i think that i'd have to say that Dobby is my favorite of them all. He's basically been there for Harry throughout the books and loves to help him no matter what could happen. Harry met him in Chamber of Secrets and even when they didn't know each other all that well Dobby was trying to protect Harry from danger. During the Triwizard Tournament he also helped Harry find the Gilliweed (sp?) so he could breathe under water, and as
Loony'sCool mentioned Dobby actually found a place for the D.A. to practice without getting noticed. Even in the final book when in great danger at Malfoy Manner Dobby helped Harry and everyone else escape. He was always there for Harry no matter what situation and i think that he was one brave elf to do that. Every time i read the part when Dobby dies i always start to tear up but i'm happy that he at least got a chance to be free.

Would Kreacher vacation with or without Harry and Ginny? If without, where do you think he'd like to go?I have to disagree with loony'sCool about this question....I truely doubt he would go back to Grinwald Place, because after Hermione and everyone else started actually being nice to him he changed. I believe he may go with the family, but have a somewhat seperate vacation....be in the same place in case they need him, but also able to have fun without harry and Ginny. I agree though that he will probably like Lily more, I don't know why but it just seems to make sense.
Happy posting!

Would Kreacher vacation with or without Harry and Ginny? If without, where do you think he'd like to go?Hmm.. In my opinion, i think that sometimes Kreacher would vacation with them and sometimes he wouldn't. I think that it might depend on where they were going, but i also think that he would have wanted to visit somewhere maybe Regulus went or a place that he could learn more about him. He also might choose to not go with Harry and Ginny because to me Kreacher seemed like he didn't mind being alone all that much and enjoyed taking care of Grimmauld Place. As you have both mentioned, for some reason i can also picture Kreacher going with them because he liked Lily. Good question!!

Would Kreacher vacation with or without Harry and Ginny? If without, where do you think he'd like to go?
Sorry, but I have to disagree on this subject. First off, even if Kreacher had vacation time, there is no way he would use it. he's not going to just go wandering around looking for places where Regulus went, and he definitely wouldnt go to like the beach or something. The only place he might go would be Grimmauld place, but i highly doubt he would go there.
Also, I dont think he would have vacation time. I mean, yes, it sounds all nice and dandy that harry would give Kreacher time off. However, we can't forget that Kreacher is not necessarily going to stay "in love" (for lack of a better phrase) with harry. Yes, he was very useful and friendly in deathly hallows, but lets not forget what he was before this. Even if he is loyal to Harry, what if he goes on vacation and visits the malfoys and tells them everything about what harry is up to. Because Im sure harry will be doing some sort of secret work that he wouldnt want ex-death eaters knowing about. There is no way harry could risk it. Just because Kreacher likes harry doesnt mean he hates the malfoys, or some other death eater family.
Now, I am going to answer the question...he would not vacation at all. He would likely stay at wherever they are living, or go stay at the burrow while Harry and Ginny went on vacation.
P.S. I dont think they would pay him either. Don't get me wrong, they would be very kind to him, but what would kreacher do with money?

I strongly disagree! I know Harry never showed much care to S.P.E.W, so I agree that
Harry wouldn't pay Kreacher. Remember though he is married to Ginny. To me Ginny would be the one to give Kreacher small pay each month. Ginny would influence Harry to give Kreacher a small pay. Also Hermione is one of Harry's best friends, so she'd tell Harry to be nice.
Oh! and how you think Kreacher wouldn't need the money, I agree. But even though he doesn't want/need the money he'd probally keep it in his own little hiding place. Like he did with the Black family things.
Also how you,
lancelot243, say that Kreacher would most likely stay where Harry and Ginny live or go to the Burrow, while there on vacation. I do not understand with the part about the Burrow. Why would he go there. I doubt thats were Hermione and Ron live. I am guessing they lived near Harry and Ginny or live near where Hermione grew up. But I guess there could be something like Mrs. Weasley gave them some land on the farm at the burrow and letting them live, and build an house there. But still I strongly doubt it! Ron would want to get as far away as possible from his mom.
lancelot243
Apr 22 2009, 04:02 AM
Loony, I think you are right. If we are looking at 20 years down the road then kreacher would not go to the burrow, he would probably just stay home. However, you have to think, kreacher is very old. He could die any day; the chances are he won't live much longer than maybe 5-10 more years. So I think Mrs. Weasley could still definitely use a house elf for a few weeks if harry and ginny went somewhere.
Adding on, now that I think more about it, kreacher would almost definitely go with them wherever they went. This is evidently common practice. If you think back to the world cup; Mr. Crouch had his elf with him, and while there were some different circumstances, no one saw it as unusual. Also, if you think way back to the chamber of secrets, Lucius Malfoy brings dobby with him to hogwarts at the very end. So, it seems likely that it is common practice for house elves to follow their masters.
Another situation could be that kreacher would just permanently live at the burrow. I mean, Harry probably doesn't really want him. He may send kreacher to live with the weasleys.
P.S. I'm not saying harry would refuse to pay, Im saying that kreacher would almost definitely not take the payment. And its like you said, harry is married to ginny, hes not married to hermione. Though ginny may be sympathetic towards house elves, she is not going to beat a dead horse about payment like hermione would. She would eventually let it go and move on.

I am here because I LOVE house elves!!!
Would Kreacher vacation with or without Harry and Ginny? If without, where do you think he'd like to go?
I would to think that Kreacher would go with the family on vacation. Since Harry started to be nice to Kreacher, Kreacher's whole attitude changed. He became pleasant and helpful. It all goes to back to the old saying..."Treat others the way you want to be treated." Kreacher has lived his whole life in Grimmauld Place, I don't think he would care much to visit other places, unless it's with his master.
I can't see Harry paying Kreacher. LIke you guys said...if it was Hermione, that would be different. But in DH Harry seems to like Kreacher and I thought Harry started to get a bit attached to him. I don't think he would send Kreacher off to live at the Burrow. Kreacher was part of Sirius, I think Harry would want him around, if only for that reason.

Yeah I gues you guys are right! Kreacher most likely wouldn't get paid. But I do bet that when ever Ron and Hermione visit, Hermione trys to slip Kreacher a knut or two.
This subject makes me miss Dobby more and more. Boo hoo! At least Dobby died free like he truely needed to be. Actually I have been reading To Kill A Mocking Bird. In there Mrs. Dubose (I spelt that wrong, I think) dies, and Atticus says she dies free. It reminded me of Dobby! So all day I have been thinking about the whole ordeal.
YAY! Hermione17 is here!

I agree that Hermione would try to slip Kreacher something special when she visited. She may even try and trick him into a pair of socks she made LOL. Or, respecting the fact that he belongs to Harry, she might give Kreacher something shiny for him to collect, put in his bed in the kitchen and treasure forever, like he did with the locket and other Black family heirlooms.

Great Question Tonkzzz_777! Let me think. Ummm... I am thinking that he wouldn't want to own poor Kreacher. But Kreacher would probally not want to be free, since he has been an house elf for ever and his whole family. He would turn down Harry's offer, becuase he'd think its a disgrace to his masters, and ancestors. Also we have to think about how Harry never wanted Kreacher from the start. Remember he sent Kreacher to Hogwarts to work. I doubt Harry would send him back to Hogwarts though. Well thats all from me. I can't wait to hear everyones reply!

I had forgot about him sending kreacher to hogwarts. Now that you bring that up, i think he would almost definitely send kreacher there. Harry really doesn't need him daily. If he ever needed him he could just call him and he would show up immediately. Yes, Harry liked the new kreacher, but i dont think kreacher would be all cheery and what not forever. After the newness wore off, he would just be another elf, and i think it very likely that kreacher would end up at hogwarts.

However, Dobby and Kreacher are two different elves so i think that Harry would most likely do what Kreacher preferred. It's difficult to predict what Kreacher would want but i think that he wouldn't want to be set free. He might just stay to serve Harry and Ginny or he could go and work at Hogwarts. I agree that this is a pretty interesting question and is kind of hard to answer

, so i guess that it all just depends.

Would you stand up for an house elf?
ABSOLUTELY! Without a doubt YES! My husband jokes around with me and calls me an animal activist. I don't like seeing animals being treated poorly and I do NOT stand for it! That's probably why I have so many myself...I keep rescuing them.
If I was at Hogwarts and if I knew about SPEW I'd stay up all night with Hermione knitting hats, socks and whatnot for the house elves. I would definitely be part of the movement for equality for house elves. After leaving school, that's what Hermione did first while working in the Dept. of Regulation and classification of Magical creatures.

Would you stand up for an house elf?
Hmmm....intersting question. Honestly, I dont think I would stand up for just a random house elf i saw. Now, if it was a house elf that i knew, i would definitely stand up for it in a second. But, sadly, i would not do the same for a random elf.
Something interesting that hermione17 said. She said she loves animals so she would stand up for house elves. So do you guys think of house elves as animals? This is curious because i doubt house elves would take to kindly to that, but i know you didnt mean it as an insult either.
Im not saying this to put down hermione17[i] or anything, its just that maybe we all automatically think of ourselves as better than house elves without even realizing it. Its just natural to think of ourselves as superiors, and its interesting that even those that love and want to help house elves may even subconciously think this way.
Hermione17
May 2 2009, 02:24 AM
I didn't mean house elves are like animals, but in the wizarding world they are treated as such. And that's a problem...there's no equality for house elves. Wizards automatically think they are superior. So in that aspect, when I see something or someone in need of my help then I do what I can. Whether it's a nerdy kid at school being picked on, an animal in need of some TLC or someone broken down on the side of the road...I have a soft spot for those that can't help themselves...and that's usually animals.
House elves are actually more superior than wizards...at least their magic is. They are just suppressed creatures that need the help of others...like Hermione and anyone else that she was able to get involved in SPEW.

Would you stand up for a house elf?Hmm... I think that i'd have to answer yes for this question although, i think that it would also have to depend on the situation. Like
Hermione17 mentioned, if i were to go to Hogwarts i would also be the kind of person to help Hermione out with SPEW and trying to get others to join as well.
I actually have a question:
what type of situation ,if any, wouldn't you stand up for a house elf?
Hermione17

what type of situation ,if any, wouldn't you stand up for a house elf?
Any situation. If a house elf was being treated poorly I'd step in and do whatever I could to help. Not that they need much help in defending themselves. Their magic is really advanced. The problem lies with NOT being allowed to defend themselves. And that's not fair. Helping others can create a tight friendship, like Dobby and Harry and later Kreacher and Harry. I think it goes back to the old saying "Treat others the way you want to be treated." If I was in a bad situation, I'd want someone to help me.

Umm...if I just saw like a house elfs master yelling at them or allowing the house elf to punish himself i would not step in. That is there business, and the house elf is more than capable to stop punishing him/herself. However, if i saw an elf actually being cursed or abused i would likely step in and help.

First off I'd like to say "You go Dawn!" Fight for what you believe in. I hate to say it but some members to this club say they love house elfs, but their responses to the questions make them sound like a cruel master not a friendly friend. I am sorry if that offended anyone, sorry again.
what type of situation ,if any, wouldn't you stand up for a house elf?
Like Dawn said, I would stand up for an house elf if being treated poorly. I'd probally be the most hated people among the wizards. They'd hate that I was standing up for house elves. Also they'd be worried that they may loose their labor. But come on get up off your butt and do your own work and don't force some poor elf to do it insted. Wizards have a wand for a reason, so they need to use it! Mrs. Weasley had seven childdren, eight counting Mr. Weasley. The point is Mrs. Weasley never forced an elf to do her hard work. I know she probally didn't have the money, but if she did, she still wouldn't have done it. I am in the mood to make a t-shirt saying S.P.E.W. on it.
Hermione17
May 4 2009, 02:25 PM
LOL I want a SPEW on it T-shirt!!!!!
You're right Nick, Mrs. Weasley wouldn't have a house elf do her work. There are so many spells and charms a wizard can do to make life simple, why a house elf? Mrs. Weasley was able to do dishes, knit, raise a house full of kids, cook and clean among other things. The chores were mostly done with her wand.
If a house elf WANTS to do chores then fine, but pay them a wage, if they don't want it then okay. Give them nice sleeping quarters and don't treat them like scum and limit what they can say and who they can say it to. This is slavery people! Poor Dobby had to iron his hands for speaking ill about his masters. That's just insane and wrong on so many levels!
Dawn

Great point guys!

I never even thought about Mrs. Weasley. She does all of her own work every day and gets along just fine. I mean sure, they're not rich or anything but their family seems to do just fine anyways. Wizards are able to support themselves so why would they even have house elves? Like you said
Hermione17, it's slavery! If a house elf enjoys what they're doing then great, good for them.. but wizards really shouldn't force them to do anything they don't want to. Plus, i'm sure once you finished all of your own chores or tasks that you did all by yourself, you'd actually feel good about yourself and would know that you accomplished it all on your own.
Fun idea about the S.P.E.W t-shirt! I wonder if someone on here would want to make an avatar or signature that said Support House Elves, S.P.E.W, Unofficial House Elf Fan Club, or something like that for this fan club.

If you were a House Elf, would you want to be free or not?
I'd want to be free to make my own choices. I'd like to be part of a family... an actual member of the family! If I was treated like an equal I wouldn't mind helping around the house and running errands, or whatever needed to be done. I'd want the choice to say NO and to leave if I started to be treated badly. Basically no ball and chain!

First off, I just want to answer the most recent question. If I was a house elf, I would definitely want to be free. Im sure some elves love ttheir work, but i could not be a house elf.
Anyway, many people have been bringing up the point saying that Mrs. Weasley got along just fine without an elf. While this is true, the point that many people have made that mrs weasley would want an elf is definitely unture. If you remember in CoS when harry tells ron and hermione about dobby ron remarks that his mom has always wanted a house elf to help her out. This shows that owning a house elf does not automatically make you a bad person. You can have an elf and be kind to it, and there is nothing wrong with that. Now if you are like the malfoys, than, yes, you do not deserve the luxury. However, just owning an elf doesnt make you bad.

If you were a House Elf, would you want to be free or not?Hmm... This is a tough question. One reason that i'd want to be a free house elf would be because i could make my own decisions and choices. I'd like to know the fact that i could pretty much go where i please and decide for myself. However, i can also think of a few reasons why i might want to work as a house elf as well. Firstly, because if i was being payed a reasonable amount for the work that i was doing then that would be fair, but only as long as i would be treated with respect by the members of the family. If the family i served didn't treat me as an equal i would feel unappreciated, which maybe some of the house elves did. I know that some of the house elves liked to serve their masters and i might as well, however i don't think i would like it if i didn't have a choice of doing something, especially if i didn't think it was right.
Well that's all i can think of right now!

If you were a House Elf, would you want to be free or not?
I would love to help a family, not serve. It would be nice, as Dawn said, to have family! Honestly I wouldn't want to be a worker or anything I'd just want a family, a Squib one in fact. I have no clue why maybe becuase I love muggles and wizards and to live with both would to be living with squibs. I could see myself as a elf in a career. The first house elf in a full modern outfit going to school, then career.
wizards really need to let House elfs go to some sort of school, just for them. It would be better if House elfs could go to hogwarts with normal wizards since House elfs have amazing powers too. But ofcourse that would never happen, it only could if Hermione was Headmistress.

Okay, and now for the question...
With Voldemort gone for good and with all the work Hermione did with S.P.E.W. when she was part of the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, do you think the house elves gained any equality and respect. Or do you think nothing changed at all?

With Voldemort gone for good and with all the work Hermione did with S.P.E.W. when she was a part of the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, do you think the house elves gained any equality and respect. Or do you think nothing changed at all?Well in my opinion, i'd like to think that at least something has changed. Under the circumstances, with Voldemort finally gone and everything, it's hard to say what has happened. Hopefully a lot has changed and the house elves are being treated with the respect that they really do deserve. Sometimes i wonder if maybe Ginny, Luna, or even Neville have helped Hermione with S.P.E.W. Maybe with some of her friends spreading the word, others would join in trying to help as well. Like some say, even the smallest change can make a big difference.

Hey everyone! This is a fun club! May I join?
Dobby is my favorite Elf. He's so independent and true to himself. I love how loyal he is to Harry and his friends. I have to admit, he annoyed me when I first met him in book 2, but I know that he meant well, and I soon developed a liking for him. He's so cute and funny!
Kreacher was horrible at first, but I think that was due first of all to the bad influence of the Black family. (Although Regulus was a pretty good person.) Later on, when Sirius was in control, his treatment of Kreacher only made the Elf behave worse. Don't get me wrong, I like Sirius, but he didn't handle his authority over Kreacher well at all. Even though I didn't like Kreacher at first, I grew quite fond of him in book 7, once Harry started treating him with kindness, and Kreacher realized that Harry was someone he could trust. I think that after the war, Kreacher spent the rest of his days in comfort with Harry and Ginny and their family. With Hermione's encouragement, I think that Harry would have offered Kreacher freedom and a salary, but I don't think Kreacher would've felt comfortable accepting this offer. He would have rather served Harry's family as a "proper" House Elf. As an old House Elf, I think it would have been hard for him to desert tradition and become a free elf. However, I do know that Harry and Ginny would treat him with the greatest of respect and kindness. If they went on vacation, I think they would invite Kreacher. I don't know if Kreacher would come, though. I could see it either way. Kreacher may want to come on vacation so he can be with them and serve them, but he may rather stay home and keep the house in order while the family's away.
With Voldemort gone for good and with all the work Hermione did with S.P.E.W. when she was a part of the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, do you think the house elves gained any equality and respect. Or do you think nothing changed at all?
I absolutely think that things changed for the better. All House Elves deserve to be free, though some of them may prefer to follow old traditions. But with all of Hermione's hard work, I could see new laws being put into place that would protect all House Elves, both free and not free, from cruelty and neglect. I could also picture a law that gives freedom to all Elves who desire it.

I think that Hermione did everything she could for House-Elf freedom, but don't House-Elves' culture dictate that they do obey humans. Remember how Winky reacted when she was set free?
However, that does not mean that Hermione didn't try! I like to think that Hermione improved the standards of keeping a House-Elf, and maybe raised several awareness campaigns in Hogwarts, the Ministry, everywhere, to try and improve the standards.
I also like to think that she kept an eye on those families that treated the House-Elves like dirt like the Malfoys!

Yay a house-elf fan club!
I am a proud member of SPEW already... I've made badges and all and pinned them onto my fave bag
If you were a House Elf, would you want to be free or not?I'd want to be free, yeah, but I'd probably work for a caring family like the Weasleys

Or do you think nothing changed at all?I'd like to think that things did change. That house-elves who wanted to be free, became free, and that wizards began to see them as more than slaves. I'd hope that the ones who wanted to work would get paid and have holidays (if they wanted to) and they wouldn't be treated as inferior.

I would like to think that something changed for the better. Hermione was very into SPEW so although i think she wasnt as obsessed with it she still want to make changes to help the house elves out. Where she may not have been able to get them freed she might have gotten payment for them or a strict law against how they were to be treated. She would make sure that the had better rights and didnt have to do dangerous things if the owners asked it of them. she might have gotten them to not have to follow all orders if they could put the house elves in any sort of dangerous predicament.

I would want to be free and work on my own terms. where i would work i wouldnt do anything that could harm him in anyway and if i was treated cruelly i wouldnt stay. It would be nice to have the freedom to do thing how you wanted to do them and not be bossed around.
P.S. Am i in SPEW now?

Aww where is everyone lately? I miss our discussions in this fan-club! Anyway, I thought that I'd ask a question or two to help get this going again.
If you were a witch or wizard, would you want to own a house-elf? Why or why not?If you were a working house-elf and had a choice of where to work, where would it be and why? Just with any old regular family? Hogwarts? In the kitchens? I'll be back to give my answer later.

I too miss the discussion in this fan club.

I would love to have a house elf! But my house elf would be more like a friend and a family member rather than a slave. He/She could come and go as they please, help me with cleaning and cooking if they want to, instead of forcing him/her.
In life I've found the pure fact that when you force someone to do something they don't want to do like cleaning or studying or working...they don't do a good job. It's literally a chore to them.
If someone does something because it's not asked or expected of them they are more likely to want to help out of the goodness of their heart and their work would be above and beyond.
If you were a working house-elf and had a choice of where to work, where would it be and why? Just with any old regular family? Hogwarts? In the kitchens?
I'd want to work in Hogwarts. House elves there are treated in a humane manner. I'd love to be in a castle and around powerful witches and wizards (McGonagall...Dumbledore...Snape...etc.) And I'd love to watch young pupils grow and see their magical abilities flourish. Besides...there's a lot of information to be learned in Hogwarts...and not just from books either!

Okay, time to answer my own question!
If you were a witch or wizard, would you want to own a house-elf?In my opinion, I actually wouldn't mind having a house-elf. However, as you stated
Hermione17 I would treat them as one of my own family members or friends. I wouldn't make them do the work all by themselves and instead we could work together. The two of us could clean in the kitchen, bedrooms, etc. and have a fun time doing it. I tend to like to listen to music whenever I'm cleaning the house or my room, so there would most likely be music playing that we could clean too.
As soon as my house elf was tired or wiped out I would let them take a break and relax. No one should be forced to do something they don't want too, especially when they're already exhausted. I think that I'd love to have a house elf because in a way they would be like my own little friend. We wouldn't always have to work or clean and could instead do other things like sit out near the garden or help my children (if I had any) with their school work and spells.
If you were a working house-elf and had a choice of where to work, where would it be and why?If I were a house-elf I think that I'd also like to work at Hogwarts. Even if you had to clean and cook you would still learn so much from such a wonderful school. You would be able to explore the castle and be treated respectfully by others. And who knows, if Hermione were there you might even become friends with her and work on S.P.E.W. together! I too think that it would be very interesting to watch the young witches and wizards grow and learn throughout the years, their magical abilities improving as they go along. Overall, I think that Hogwarts would definitely be the place I'd want to work. There's just so much to do and experience.
-Phew, I think that was like the third response I've left in the past couple of minutes in the fanclubs/house I belong too. haha, now my hands are tired!
