May I join? *peeps in*
If you could have been one of the Four Founders who would you have been and why?I would have to say that I would be Rowena!

I'm not very brave, at least in the extroverted kind of way--if anything, it's a very quiet bravery. I could care less about how pure somebody's blood is, and regardless, I'm not very cunning. I am loyal and friendly, but I still think that I would be better off as Rowena. I love learning and knowledge for its own sake, and would be much more drawn to that than anything else. I get lost in books all the time!
What ideas would you contribute to Hogwarts, if you had been one of its creators?I agree, I love the idea of teaching different languages, both Muggle and wizard! Mermish would be a good one to learn, especially since they can practice with the merpeople in the lake. Troll or goblin might be interesting to learn in Advanced Study, although the practical difficulties of obtaining a troll might overwhelm the interest base (I'm sure Hermione would want to learn, though!

).
I also think some kind of World Wizard Studies class would be brilliant because they don't really get any exposure to wizards outside Great Britain. The only exposure is during the Triwizard Tournament with the delegations from Durmstrang and Beauxbatons. Maybe in relationship to the class, they could also institute a foreign exchange program? You could spend a month in a different wizarding school, learning about the culture there, both magic and Muggle...that would be awesome.

And they really should have more classes related to "Muggle" subjects. What about an English class or a math class? They're living in the Muggle world, they need more than just Muggle Studies for the things that pertain to both Muggles and witches and wizards. And I think Muggle Studies should be expanded for things like Chemistry, or Non-Magical History.
And I agree that art and music classes would be awesome.

There's nothing wrong with exploring your artistic side, especially if you have to do it without magic! Hmm, they could even have two different units--learning the spells associated with art or music, and then learning how to do it themselves without that benefit.
Which witches and wizards would you choose to be the founding four? You can't use Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor or Slytherin. Choose a different four...from the past or present. Explain why you chose those wizards.I'm going to entirely choose students, I think...

For Hufflepuff, I pick Neville Longbottom. I know he was a Gryffindor, and he is very brave, but I think that he would be a good founder of those who are just, loyal, and good friends. He would be a credit to that House!
For Ravenclaw, it's a tie between Luna Lovegood and Hermione Granger. Perhaps they could be co-Founders?

I think that they both would bring something valuable to the guidance of that House. Luna would bring her refreshing open-mindedness and Hermione would bring her love of book-knowledge. I think all good Ravenclaws need a dose of both!
For Gryffindor, I pick another pair of Founders--Fred and George Weasley! They would bring a very...interesting sense of humor to the hot-headedness of most Gryffindors, I think, and of course, they exemplify the traditional Gryffindor traits, anyways!
And for Slytherin, I have a probably controversial pick--Harry Potter.

The Sorting Hat did say that he could go into either Slytherin or Gryffindor, and even though he chose to be in Gryffindor, I think if he was the Founder of Slytherin, he could bring a new idea and thought to the House. He wouldn't be bothered about only having pure-bloods and that could vitalize Slytherin--and he would also bring some more ethics to the House, maybe? Not that most Slytherins aren't ethical, but he definitely wouldn't turn a blind eye if somebody was being bad or Dark for no reason other than self-advancement.
