Okay, I know it will sound lame. I think it would be fun to play a new game I created. You all know that Bathilda died weeks, or days before Harry visited. Now ofcourse the Ministry had to go in a clean the place out and sort through her will.

The game is that you post an item(s) that would have been found through out her cottage.

Ex. Quick Qoutes Quill: For when Bathilda had hand cramps while writing.
Dementoid1
A packet of stale Ginger Newts: She might have enjoyed these as a quick after-dinner snack. biggrin.gif

Julius JuJu Yum Yums: Some old candy tin from the 1800's, must have been a popular treat back in the day.
Dementoid1
A stack of old Daily Prophet Newspapers: She always liked to keep up to date with the goings-on in the wizarding world. Not to mention doing a few crosswords here and there!
Loony'sCool
I guess were the only two who like this game.

Crystalized Pinapple: Slughorn sent this to her trying to be friends (He only wanted to have connections with another famous person.)
Dementoid1
Yeah biggrin.gif

A magnifying glass: To help her read small print in books and on labels.

By the way I love your qoute: "A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to" Lord of the Rings, isn't it?

A few pictures and books of Lockhearts: Guess she was cuaght up with him like all the other women.
Dementoid1
Thanks, yeah it is. The LOTR Trilogy are three of my favourite films!

Some spellotape: The poor dear was always breaking things by accident!
Loony'sCool
Yeah they are awesome.

Dead Cat: Poor kitty must have died from not being taken care of, since her owner was dead.
Dementoid1
They sure are! smile.gif

Some thick woolen gloves: For those cold winter days!
Loony'sCool
Old Fruit Cake: She must of recieved it right before her body was taken over by Nagina (However you spell the snakes name)
Dementoid1
A box filled with Christmas decorations: She may have outgrown the festive season, but she would still hang up a few decorations anyway.
Loony'sCool
Dust, Dust, and lots of it: She was too old to clean, and her arm was to weak to cast many spells.

Mug labled "World's Greatest Neighbor": Could this of been from the Potter's before there un timely death?
Dementoid1
A bowl of leftover shepherds pie: Her favourite meal!
DracosLady
A framed picture of Professor Snape: someone she had secretly crushed on for years biggrin.gif
Dementoid1
An old bottle of 'Eau de Puffskein': I know it may sound gross, but Bathilda loved the smell!
Loony'sCool
Oddly it sounds like it would smell good...

A journal written by Rowena herself: Bathilda had really close ties with high up people. This journal is now in a wizarding museum!
Dementoid1
A photo of a young Bathilda: A pretty girl back in the day, before age took hold!
Loony'sCool
Birthday cards: She must of loved it when people sent her birthday cards. Seems like she kept every one of them.
Alonnet
Almost freshly knitted wool blankets: She might have been preparing for a cold winter... If only she had gotten to she it.
Loony'sCool
Thats really sad...

Fan letters from Hermione: We all know Hermione loved to read! Bathilda loved recieving mail from her number one fan, Hermione never told anyone but they were closer than you'd think.
DracosLady
Harry Potter's secret diary of his life a a female impersonator...She was doing a documentary on Harry's life before her untimely demise.
Loony'sCool
Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Season 1-3: She owned a TV and loved to laugh watching funny muggle shows that sadly impersonate witches.
Dementoid1
A half-full bottle of FireWhisky: Now Bathilda didn't really drink alcohol, but she did enjoy a small glass of this on special occasions!
Joey Ravenclaw
Blueprints of the Eiffel tower: Bathilda was the one who had designed and made it, then obliviated everyone's memories so they all thought they did it.
rebeccie
Mr Pip, her teddy bear from when she was little
