Hi Everyone,

This is the feedback thread for my new Draco and Hermione ship. I'm trying something new. I'll be starting with Hermione's point of view and then switching to Draco's POV for a few chapters, before returning to Hermione's. I thought it would be a good way to get the perspective of both characters. Also, there is a time turner sequence. Most of the story takes place during 6th year, with the exception of the few time turner chapters. I hope you all like it!

Lisa... I LOVE the start of this story! You did such a brilliant job with it. The only thing I didn't like was that it was short. You should definitely think about making your chapters longer. Yes, I know that it was the Prologue and prologues usually aren't as long. But still!... I can't wait to read more. *rubs hands together at the excitment of Lisa's fic*

*snoops into Lisa's kitchen* Any cookies around here? I will after all be staying a while and will need something to eat.

My dear, sweet Dayna, thanks so much for reading my new fic. I'm thrilled that you liked it! Yes, the prologue was a bit short and chapter 1 isn't especially long either, but once I get into the rest of the story, each installment will be longer. I think it's the fact that the prologue and chapter 1 don't have much dialogue. I love dialogue!

Oh I just love your fanfic! Your so talented! Even though its just a Prologue I'm going to read everything. I rarely read fanfics. Yours will probably change my reading habits, hahah! I don't even know if I'll make a sequal to my DM/HG fic because, their seventh year is done, and I would be clueless if I wrote about them outside of Hogwarts. I'm only good when I write about them in Hogwarts because, that's where their story took place for seven years! Meanwhile I'm writing a new fic and its Ron/Hermione. Not that enjoyable as Draco/Hermione though.

I love hearing from you and I can't wait for chapter 1! Draco POV!

Wow! This story looks like it's going to be plain awesome! I like how you're using the events from the book in your story too. It shows how talented you are as an author, that you would go back and meld the details of JKR's story with yours. I've read some of your other fanfics so I know how good you are, but I'm really glad you're doing a DM/HG fic because those are the ones that I most enjoy.

Alyssa, I'm glad you found the story. Thanks so much for your kind words; you are way too nice! I'm in a bit of a pickle now because of setting the story during 6th year. I'm finding it's more work; now I have to go back and read parts of HBP so I don't mess anything up timeline-wise! But I"m glad your enjoying it. It makes the rereading worth it!

I agree with Dayna that it was too short for my liking, but I'll wait, eagerly. I liked how you kept us up to date on when it was taking place and what had sort of been secretly been going on, but it still sounded interesting. I can't wait to read more, as I love fanfics

p.s. I love Ron and Hermione together in the books. I don't know why I enjoy pairing her with bad boys in fics, but I do!

Lisa!!! That was so amazingly well written! I felt like I was in the room with him standing behind him like a ghost, wanting to be a comfort, to tell him that everything would be okay. You portrayed his desperation brilliantly. Poor Draco!

Wow. Lisa, just wow. This is brilliant and amazingly written. Like some have already said, it feels like I'm right there with him. It's already great, even if it is only the prologue plus chapter one!! I wish I'd found it earlier!

I must say, I am very excited about this fanfiction. I adore Draco/Hermione fanfic ships, even though I didn't used to like them at all. But there've been many fanfics that have changed my opinion of this, and this is one of them!

Ooooo chapter 3!! It was so awesome!! I loved how Draco tripped...heeheehee I find that very funny. Ok, so about the chapter...hmmm....can I say I am officially in love with the fanfic? Lisa! Shame on me!!! I just barely noticed that you had posted chapter 2. I should have known on Friday! Please excuse my lateness in reading and reviewing...

I loved this chapter! I believe I remember a time when you said you weren't much of an author. I could be wrong though, because this story absolutely proves that you are.

I had no idea this was going to be a time turner fic, but I love it! It's a very different twist on time turner fics. People usually just use them to pair Hermione with Snape (I even read one once about Hermione and Lupin that was extremely well done, and to date one of my favorites.).

I am anxiously awaiting the next chapter... Do you have any chocolate? I'm having a craving for Reeses Peanut Butter Cups.

Hmm, I need to reread HBP because I forget why Draco was even working on that cabinet, or did you just put that in there? :/ But the last couple chapters were great! Sorry I haven't read them until now, but I didn't really have the time. I like the way you describe the muggle town and the last part about meeting Hermione It was so adorable. For some reason, everytime I imagine Draco, I keep imagining that cute little face he had in SS, even though he might be taller, hehe.

But he telling off Goyle was great. Ha, it shows that he can get annoyed with his 'friends'. I can't wait until you get into the actual 'meat' of the story I'm excited that's it's going to be a time turner fic, and as soon as you mentioned the time turner, I felt excited, as I really like them!

Hi Kiersten. No apologies necessary. I'm just glad that you like it! Draco is working on the vanishing cabinet so that the death eaters can get into Hogwarts. It's from HBP and I'll save you having to reread it: Draco bought the other one from Borgin and Burke's and eventually he did fix it and the death eaters got in. That was the night of the first battle and it's when Dumbledore was killed.

Now you're all caught up! I like time turner's too and I hope I can do the genre justice. Thanks for reading and leaving feedback. You are a sweetie!

I think that was my favorite part out of the whole chapter, haha, just kidding, but it did make me laugh.

I really did love it! Hermione was so in character, and I'm rereading HBP now, I just started a little last night and I'm only on Chapter 5 or something, but I'm hoping to remind myself about Draco's plans. I love how you're trying to make him realize how smart Hermione actually is.

So, how far do you plan on making this story extend, like, chapter wise? Just curious... wonderful work!

Hermione was so adorable when she was younger! And so nice too. And just as smart as she should be. It was a fantastic update; it made me laugh so much. I can't wait until the next chapter comes up! Incidentally, I don't know if you've seen it, but there's a particular clip from the HBP film where Slughorn asks Hermione what her parents do:



What Draco said about dentists reminded me of that, although of couse it's not quite the same. Anyway, hope to be reading something new soon!

Hello my Darlin's!

Kiersten, I'm glad I could make you laugh and I'm glad you liked it. I'm going to be skimming through HBP myself, once Draco gets back from his travels, so I don't mess up the time-line! I'm planning on having another chapter or two with Draco stuck in the past, and then lots more when he gets back to 6th year. I only have meager outlines, so I'm not sure exactly how many chapters, but I think it will go on for a while.

Dayna, thanks so much. I have the same sneaking suspicion that Draco will indeed enjoy muggle cooking! Let's hope Mr. Granger will be able to fix that time turner; if not how will Draco get back to the 17 year old Hermione so a romance can blossom?

Ellie, I'm really pleased that you laughed so much. That was exactly what I was going for with Hermione and Draco's first meeting. I had forgotten all about that exchange with Slughorn from HBP, but it must have been in the back of my mind while I was writing that part of the chapter. Thanks for typing it out for me!

Lisa, I didn't think the chapter was slow at all! My favorite parts were:

“They should be thanking me for gracing them with my presence!”

and,

Draco was rather impressed. He had no idea that the Granger’s knew royalty!

It made me giggle a lot! My family thought I was nuts. It was so Draco. I loved it, loved it, loved it!!!

Great work sweetie. I can't wait for all the romance to happen. I'm curious as to what the eleven year old Hermione can do to get Draco to look at her with something other than contempt. I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapter.

I really liked it. It was funny how Mr. Granger kept rambling on about stuff that.. I sort of agreed with Draco on, I'm just like, "Why does he have to keep talking?!" But it was really funny, and I'm glad he's starting to realize that muggles are just as good as wizards! (Other than the fact that muggles don't have any magical skills *sigh*) I want to read more!

Great work lilasnape I love how you portray Draco as still being the ever so arrogant Hottie that we all love and adore. He thought a crown had something to do with royalty lol, boy is he dense wait till he finds out what her father really meant by that...Anyhoo great story hurry up with the next chapter..I want more lol

I am curious though - what will be happening to the future Hermione? Will she just be suddenly gaining these memories of Draco. Or will she have already had them but not said anything because she knew that he wouldn't know about it until sixth year?

Hi Ellie! You bring up a really good point. I'm going to address it in chapter 6 or 7, when Draco gets back to 6th year and the story changes over to Hermione's point of view.

The way I think of time travel, though, is that Hermione never had these memories before. She just gained them as Draco's visit to her town happened. However, since she gained the memories, it is as if she had them since she was 11, so history changes in a way, even if it's only her memory of things. Did that make sense?? So, it's as if none of this ever happened for her until it actually did happen (during 6th year). Confusing, huh??

I'm so glad that you finally got this chapeter up. It is pretty funny how Draco sorta keeps giving things away to Hermione about what wil happen down the road "In your third year you will get a time turner...You probaly will due to course over load and such" It is sweet though how Draco is taking to Hermione alot better now that he's older than when he was younger. The part Hermione put in there about the boa constricter was funny. Thats when Harry let the snake loose on Dudley lol.

Ellie! I couldn't resist putting Alan Rickman in the story. Draco and Hermione have been away from Hogwarts, and Snape, for too long and I missed him ; Mr. Rickman's Sheriff of Nottingham was the best I could do!

Perfect timing Lisa! I was wondering how I was going to spend my lunch then I saw you posted!

I loved this chapter (I think I've said that about all of them, though. ). I really liked how you changed Hermione's childhood memories by having her think they were a dream. I think that was my favorite part. So was it Hermione's father that left Draco the broom?

Anyway, I loved it, I loved it, I loved it! I can't wait for more, and now that they're the same age... Let the romance begin!!!

Aaw, Dayna, you're so sweet! I was a bit uneasy about this chapter; it being the one when time changes back and the point of view shifts. But I'm really glad that you liked it. And your favorite part was the most fun to write. I figured that Hermione would assume that the "new" memories filtering into her brain were all just a dream. Boy, is she in for a surprise!

You know, I didn't even consider that Hermione's father left the broom for Draco. At that point in time, I don't think he knew that Hermione would eventually own a broom. But, I suppose it could have been him, since the person who did leave it for him knew that he would need it, but she only knew years later. This time turner stuff gets very confusing, doesn't it?

Thank you for the update: now we know exactly what happened to Hermione throughout the whole thing. It's strangely reminiscent of Harry dreaming about Voldemort, no? Anyway, I really like how this is all developing - it's a little different to most Dramione stories. It was an inventive way to get them both to see the 'nicer' side of each other.

Lisa, I just read your entire fanfic and let me just say that I absolutely love it. The descriptions are so real and you can actually picture what each of the characters is doing or feeling. The plot and story line itself are very creative and I loved reading something so different. I would have never thought of such an idea!

Anyway, I hope you'll post the next chapter soon as I'm eagerly awaiting to find out what will happen next. (Especially since I read six chapters and I need to read more! haha )
