So I was just wondering, where do you want the DH film to start? Personally I'm hoping for it to start at Dumbledore's funeral. I felt it was a mistake to leave it out in HBP and it would set the tone for the 2 films.

I want the funeral too, but I have a feeling it will start with the death eater attack at Bill and Fleurs wedding.

I know for a fact this is being filmed because the Phelps twins said so yesterday.

I have yet to see HBP but I heard it wasn't good as we expected and sadly, DD's funeral was taken out. So I say they start with it, but they always take out the amazing beginnings, so who knows! They have to do the 7 Potters chapter, though. Moody dies and so does Hedwig!! They can't not include that, they're both sad. And it has important elements. So, at least there, if not before.

I think that a good start would be with everyone at Dumbledore's funeral, the mourning and with Harry telling Ginny that he must break things off with her for her own safety. After the funeral it would be appropriate to do the 7 Potters so that this will lead up to later events in the story. The wedding, the attacks at the wedding then the Trio's odyssey to find the Horcruxes. Whether or not any of these things will start the movie off is still unknown..We can hope though.

I think it should have the funeral, However the directors may not feel its as important to the movies as it wasin the books. If they dont start there i would like to see it start with Harry and the Dursleys. We havent seen them in a while and them leaving would really help set the mood for Harry's escape from Privet Drive!

I think they should start the movie the same as the book at the Malfoy manor and them all talking with Voldemort or I think they should start with Harry at the Dursleys either one of those and I will be happy and it will be nice to see the wonderful Dursleys again.

I've already said at "Where Do You Think The Split Will Occur?" thread that I don't think DD's funeral is an ideal start for the film. It was like a funeral when they all raised their wands up, there's no need for another one. So, yes snitcher85, I agree with you, it should start like in the book!

I hope they at least include like maybe a flashback of the funeral... I want it to start with them rescuing Harry with all 7 Harry Potters... I think that will be pretty sweet. Then have the wedding and Death Eaters attack show that the minister died.

I agree with most people on here that it should start with DDs funeral. I dont think it will start at the wedding because i think they will want to include the harry/ginny make out scene on harrys bday. So the funeral seems like a great place to start...

I get the feeling that if they start with Dumbledores funeral they´ll probably do an flashback in the opening similar to the one in the opening for HBP with the Harry in the Ministry of magic.
