Everyone calm down. Put your feet close and imagination shut. smile.gif smile.gif

Please tell us if you think that that the film makers finally come to the standard of JKR and create legendary and epic films or will they make just average films out of the last book?

I am saying this because the film makers never took Harry Potter as an epic and tried to create it like that(like LOTR). I am talking just about the films and without considering the novels. When someone who has not read LOTR sees the films they will say that this is a real classic and almost an epic. Will they say that about the Harry Potter films without reading the books?

They just think that HP is another cow for them to milk till it dies and that's all. They have turned what should be classic films into dirty summer blockbusters or other s##t that is thrown at the face of the audience just for making money and no heart or passion.

They have no passion or love towards the story. If one does things just by the rule books without heart it just falls apart.

That's why they want to change everything, every small detail in the book, and leave out the most important and emotional elements(climax of OoTP! whole HBP film for example).

Seeing what they have done with HBP I have least hopes for Deathly Hallows films.

But at least they are making them long and so if they keep the plot consistent with the books like the first two films then maybe they will be nice, instead of using their tiny imagination and ruin everything.

But the main reason I think that the films have started to become worse from the third part is that from the third book JKR's works have become more high standard and have incorporated more emotional elements and fantasy elements.

The film makers do not have such a high standard or heart. It is like giving a calculus problem to a 12 year old or something like that. so they just groped in the dark and created average films.See their infatuation for keeping the films very short. What happens if a film is 200 minutes? Will people just walk out of the theater? Cant they spare trwo hours more than their average films?(Puny heart and mind)

Not extraordinary films that we see again and again even after 30 years.

Can anyone here say that they will watch these films 30 years later like they will read the book?

So I just predict that the even if they create two films they will ruin deathly hallows very much. Many are already obvious, what will people who have not read the books thin when Snape, Dobby or anyone else dies?

Please tell us if you think that that the film makers finally come to the standard of JKR and create legendary and epic films or will they make just average films out of the last book?

Also a last piece of advice to the film makers is that they appreciate the greatness of JKR and adore her rather then feel her as their equal and despise her.

Sadly, I think that the films will fall short of the books. We continue to get our hopes up, and they continue to disappoint. Im not saying the movies have been bad, they are rather enjoyable, but they have been and will continue to be sub par when compared to the books. Now, I am not being quite as harsh as you and saying the filmmakers are idiots. I just think it is tough to portray a book like this into film. Yes they leave out more than they need to or should. So like i said, i dont think the movies will be up to par with the book

I know that the film will come up short of the book, they are changing the ending anyway. In the RoR when Harry is supposed to confront Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle, apparantly he only confronts Malfoy and Goyle. Because of the fact the producers are not replacing Jamie Waylett with another person to play the part of Crabbe, Goyle will be the one to die now instead of Crabbe.

I have been disappointed with the films since OoTP, so much was left out of that film and HBP was a bigger disappointment. I can only hope that DH will be almost as good as the book, but I've learned in the past that wishful thinking brings about sheer and utter disappointment. mad.gif
