Is there anyone who can honestly say they dislike his music?

I know I can't:P It's pure genious! Do you have any favourite songs/albums/videos?

And what do you think about his dancing?

I know I can. I thought he was a little weird. He married Elvis's daughter for a little bit. He changed his physical appearance. Who does that??? I thought Elvis was a bit weird too. I don't know about his dancing.

Michael Jackson will forever be remembered for his music and videos of the 1980's. I also think that he will be remembered for his "moon walk". I still find it fascinating. I haven't a clue as to how he did that!

Michael seemed like a very private person, but the fact that he was eccentric made him a source of ridicule. I felt quite sorry for him.

I'm happy to know that he has finally been laid to rest, some 10 weeks after his death! May he now rest in peace. My sympathies go to his 3 children.

I wouldn't say I'm a big fan of Micheal Jackson or anything but his music is always catchy. I love watching all of his music videos and dancing to Thriller... almost our entire school knows the Thriller dance so we always request it for dances!

I wasn't like a giant Michael Jackson fan, but his music was very good; he was a genius. Sure, he was eccentric, but as Chris Crokcer once said, 'What is normal?'. He will be missed, no doubt about that, and now he is free from all the negative press and ridicule.

Yes, I do like his songs, I don't know any very well but I still like it.

I'm not the biggest MJ fan, tbh, but his songs are quite good. His dancing (especially the moonwalk) was really good and so was his voice.
My favourite songs are Dirty Diana and Man in the Mirror.

I wasn't a real big a Micheal Jackson in life. I thought his music was amazing, and his dancing was awesome; I just thought that he was really weird laugh.gif Even now that he's dead, I don't go around saying how big a fan I am, but I respect his music enough to listen to him more nowadays xD

I thought it was amazing when they played "Thriller" and "Billie Jean" at my homecoming earlier this month! We couldn't really dance to it, but no one really cared lol

Who can forget Thriller? I will be remembered forever! And Billie Jean is amazing, one of the best songs ever. His music videos had the most amazing choreography, even if you didn't like his music you have to admit that without him the music industry would not be the same.

Say what you will about his personal life, the man was a musical genius

Psh, I don't know about you, but I love MJ! & Yeah I thought he was a freak & scary too, but you know...I did some research about him and I have to say, i feel sorry for the guy...that he went through a lot of bad things in his life..and yet he seemed to be...uh...not suicidal...? Well at least his music's great. I like it. smile.gif

This year our high school band did a Jackson Five theme. And at our homecoming dance we pretty much all had learned Thriller and the DJ was thrilled to see practically every upperclassmen knew the dance.

I like MJ, Im not a huge fan, but I do enjoy his music. All of his videos are awesome; the guy could dance. Im sad he wasn't able to do his last farewell tour as im sure it would have been interesting and entertaining to see how it worked out. They did come out with a movie that follows him through all of his preparation for the tour. Im told it is very much like attending a MJ concert and having a backstage pass. Not a bad deal for the price of a $10 movie ticket...I think ill go see it

I am at a loss of words when trying to describe the musicality Michael Jackson had. His music was pure genius and consisted of elements of music that he invented and popularized himself.

As for his lifestyle...I can't say it was popular among many people, but let's put it into perspective. He grew up with an abusive father, brothers who would fornicate in the same room as him. He was surrounded by mobs at all times starting when he was what, 8...11...? His body may have aged but his soul was that of a kid at all times because he never had a childhood. He was psychologically warped from his fame (which is only comparable to the beatles)...so I can't judge him

But yeah, his music is out of this world.

I agree with the three posts above me.
Yup, at our homecoming we had MJ tunes & dances!

I also agree that he lived a sad life. I think he was a very misunderstood person. Too bad we couldn't let him be, you know? If I had met him, I would've treated him like a person.
