Well I'm fluent in french so I've never really had to do that, haha... so I dunno what to tell you. But I always say to understand, not to memorize. Because understanding sticks alot better than just memorizing a word. And try to see what kind of studying suits you best, like if you're visual or something... try reading them out loud, writing them down over and over again, reading them over and over again, etc!

Haha my sister's pumpkin has like random squares all over its face. Two of them were supposed to be the cheeks but you can't really tell. And my mom cut one of the eyes too high up, so the whole face ended up being on an angle... anyway, it's very weird haha.

Maybe I'll just draw on them and then be like, I can't do anything about it now!

I BURNT MY POPCORN IN THE POPCORN POPPER!!! It was the first time I used one... and I burnt the popcorn. I even browned the popcorn popper. Oh I feel horrible, now the house reeks, no matter how much Febreeze I use. Curse those convincing commercials. I tried to make white chocolate covered popcorn, and the chocolate wouldn't liquify enough to "drizzle" it!! It just came in chunks! So now I have oddly-shaped popcorn balls held together by chocolate. I'm going to call this a partial failure. Anyone have a legit recipe that they tried that works? Going to try carmel popcorn next... hope it works. If that fails, then real popcorn balls, the kinds with marshmallows? Never had one but I hear they are good. If all my popcorn plans fail, I shall make Rice Crispie Bars, easy enough for someone as clueless in cooking as me...

Haha that made me laugh so much. I was all sad in class, and then I come on and read that... You brighten my day with your random rant. I don't have any good recipes... cause I don't use the popcorn popper haha. My sister does, I just have the unhealthy one in the bag. Mmm now I want some.

exciting week at my school... tonight our volleyball team won sub-districts and we play in the district finals friday for an automatic bid to state. Tomorrow our football team plays the top ranked team in second round state in football playoffs.

I'm glad that my dad is at least eating my deformed/partially failed popcorn balls, then I remember - the man has no taste buds. Oh lordy... I am craving the strangest thing right now... water. How odd of me. (Popcorn is out unless I have a professional adult in the room.) Did anyone know that the Earth really isn't a sphere? It's an oblate spheroid. It bulges. Slightly flattened at the poles. How interesting. I once believed that the Earth was banana shaped (thanks to Monty Python). I was shocked when they said it was a circle, like a ball. Imagine my surprised when they said it BULGES!!! They need to get their facts straight. They go from a banana to a ball to a squished ball. What next, a cube? People used to believe the Earth is flat. Just think of how confused they would be now. Maybe it's shaped like a POPCORN!!!!! (Not burnt) I am rather cooky right now. Is that a word? I hope so...

We lost football last night. Three of our seniors (including a returning all state wide receiver[broken hand], his twin brother [sprained ankle] who happens to be our quarterback, and a starting cornerback/wideout got hurt [back problems and cramps]). The refs were dead against us, and we couldn't hang onto the ball within ten yards of scoring.

Hopefully our volleyball team can get it done tomorrow and into state.

We couldn't get it done in volleyball either. We got crushed the first set, won a close one the next set, lost a big lead and dropped a close third set, and we gave up half way through the fourth set and lost. But on the bright side I got a new phone today! And plus I'm more of a basketball girl anyway, volleyball's alright but I don't ever play varsity, but I will in basketball. Thanks for the prayers!

Went to the Veteran's Day parade here. Very sobering. Kinda happy, too. I really liked it. It was like 2 hours long. Longest parade I've been too. It was really fun, though
