Hey... don't go offending the poor people who need cheats for QWC, Oliver!

I played it for the first time the other day and I actually thought the beater training was pretty tough, considering that I am totally inept with keyboard controls -- I'm accustomed to using my mouse for everything. I don't know if it's any simpler on PS2 or something, but I personally would welcome any tips you've got! It seems like you had a pretty easy time with the game; maybe you're the advice person who we're looking for.

Ok I know I posted this about two month ago on the official Quidditch world cup page, but I didn't get any replies. So I’ll try again.
Has anyone managed to collected all the cards in the game yet?
I've only managed to get about half way through it, as you have to complete the game with every Quidditch team for crying out loud!
When you get a certain number of cards you win the Bulgarian team but is the same true for the Irish team?
If not I can’t believe EA sports saw fit to omit them. The Irish tem won the Quidditch world cup after all!
Sorry I'll calm down now

Back on topic, I found it hard enough to catch the snitch some times, unless I managed to keep the opposition’s bar ‘power’ really low before it appears, by using the beaters, but it might just be me, I’m not that great at video games to be honest.

Plus I know no cheats for the game.

i myself don't play it but i think i'm going to start playing qwc again scince i deleated my saved games on my memory card for qwc. I'm just too busy playing gta:vice city and lma manager 2005. My brother just completed the mission on poa where he has to save sirius by pulling him or something. I only remember vaguely. The thing I love about poa is the eyetoy games they're just fantastic. Keep letting me Know how you guys are doing on the games and don't get to cocky oliver cos i like playing other games aswell. Thanks anthony for the websites. Keep the tips coming.

First of all, I want to say that people play video games for lots of different reasons. A lot of people who consider themselves 'gamers' are looking for games that are extremely difficult and innovative and etc etc, but other of us, myself included, play games because we want something chill to do when we're tired after a long day of work, or when we've got twenty minutes free between lectures, and for these people, Quidditch World Cup is a great game. I love that I can pop the game into my PS2, play for a half hour or so, and then be done. I don't like getting stressed out by video games. I don't play for hours on end. I am about halfway through QWC and I want to say that I think the coolest thing about it is the detail of the different stadiums. I don't know much advice I can really offer, but I'd be willing to try. Mostly with this game, though, I have found that practice makes perfect.

Will someone
please help me in the CoS PS2 game? I'm stuck at the finding of the Expelliarmus Spell Book. I've gotten one of the white walls down by pushing the gold, square button on the ground floor, and used the Difindo charm to cut one of the spiky balls down, but now imps will not keep coming from the hatch in the wall enabling me from cutting the secong spiky ball down. I've tried throwing them in the furnaces, but they won't stop coming...

... The imps are driving me crazy...how do I kill them all?! Thanks!

I need help with the ps2 COS game. I am at the part where I am in the libary or some section of it and I am suppose to find a portait and say the password. Well, I found the portait but it won't let me say the password. I went all thru the library and searched and found nothing. All I know is that Hermonie told Harry to find that picture and say the password. Can someone please help me.

It's not good to cheat!!!

Hey there Basiled...It's not actual *cheating* as a person would think, but rather just ways to help fellow members with no video gaming skills to get through the obstacles. So it's all good...
Also if you would, please swing by the rules(there's a link in my siggy); one-liners are not permitted on the forums, try to elaborate!
Just as a side note: Thanks to all yall who attempted to help me, I haven't stepped foot in here for months, obviously so it's to no wonder I haven't thanked your intentions. My brother actually gave up on waiting for me to get to the next level and beat the imps in less than thirty minuets.

Thanks anyways!

I have both games on PS2 and Gameboy...but I haven't beaten any of them...I'm not such a game freak as my brother, who has beaten the games MANY times...if you want, I can have him post up some hints here if you need them...but he hasn't played in a while.
And the quidditch is tough...The Chaser ones I think are the hardest. I love cheats I treasure them like...gifts...

There is really no way anyone can help you.I've beat the game a couple times and the only solution is to just keep trying.I almost took the ps and threw it up against the wall a few times because I couldn't beat it.Well after a good two hours of trying I finally beat it lol.So just keep trying and it will come.

whoever needed help with the Expelliarmus spellbook challenge, do NOT, stun the imps and throw them in the furnaces or the hot things, you have to put them in the cages along the wall. this traps them, and then a button is revealed, push the button, then repeat. every so often you will get to do the diffindo spell on the spike balls, do so, because this lowers the white pillars. eventually you will be able to push a last gold button, and exit the room. there is a secret room though, you must go here, at least i suggest it. in this room, there is a wiggenweld potion cauldron, fill up all the vials you have in your invatory with the purple potion, if you just keep them in the inventory, and then have the spells assigned to the circle, square, and triangle buttons, then they act as sort of like, extra lives. when you get to the spell book, make sure you assign your new spell to a button, because, you have to fight that mean looking gargoyle at the other end of the hall. all you have to do, is wait till it throws a shiny orange ball at you, the when it is almost to you, block it with your new spell, it will go surging back at the gargoyle, and hit him, sometimes, he blocks, and sends a bibber ball of orange at you, just block this, as these do more damage to it. when it explodes, then exit into the DADA room. now is the really hard part unless you know what to do. you have to duel draco. all you have to do, is equip the expelliarmus, and the diffindo spells. then get ready to battle. everytime he jinxes you, block it with expelliarmus, then in turn while aiming at him, do diffindo, this will distract him, making him get hit by the orange balls, keep doing this till you win the duel, and he does serpensortia. you cant block the serpentsortia, as the game goes to a cut scene at this point in time.
Now, for HBP4's question. okay, all you have to do mainly is follow the beans, this is a great help as they are sorta like a trailfinder. you have to fight creatures on the way though. also, when you get to the DE part, you must do the Carpe Retractum spell and pull it then, this will unbalance the DE, making him fall to his death over a cliff. eventually youll be at the portkey, and then another cut scene happens here. After the cut scene, you have beaten the level, congrats.
now i need some help. ok, i think that i am missing a couple triwizard shields. i have made gold ranks in all of the tasks, and moodys challenges, so i dont know what i am missing. this is in GOF for PS2, BTW. Also, i am missing 2 FW&W Cards in the COS, for PS2, i have opened all secret chests, and also, i have gotten the key to the confiscated items store. i also have completed all the gnome throwing, and broomracing, and lit all the incendio torches out side around the castle. what am i missing in these two games? Please help me!
Thanks,

[size=7] I've got all the games and I've only managed to beat Prisoner of Azkaban.

I have only won the Quidditch World cup as Japan and USA.
In Chamber of Secrets Ican't get past the rock but I have beated the basilksf for my brother. I can't beat Voldy in 1 or 4. The cheats we tried didn't work!
I played all my games on PC.
Does anyone have any advice?

I don't like cheating it defeats the purpose of the game. I just like to enjoy the fact that for the time i am in the wizarding world

Here's some help X-Girl:
To beat Voldy in 1, You have to hide behind the pillars until they break, which means since the spells hone in on you just run in circles around the pillars until they break. When they all break you'll end up in the room with the mirror of Erised. Hide behind it so that the mirror part is facing Voldy. He'll shoot a spell, it'll bounce off and hit him. But every time you need to turn the mirror back around with Flipendo. I think you have to hit the skulls with Flipendo also...
In 4, to beat Voldy, you need to use the tombstones for protection against direct spells, and run like heck when the meteor spell comes. When Voldy is standing still, you hit him with a spell. Repeat this until he's defeated.
There you go! I hope I helped enough!
EDIT: OOPS, my cheats are for Gameboy Advance. Sorry, I don't know how to beat anything in PC
