I just read your one-shot and I really enjoyed it! Severus is my absolute favorite character in the Harry Potter series and when ever I re-read "The Lightning-Struck Tower", I always imagine that Snape's emotions are exactly as you described them in your fic. He must have struggled so much with what he had to do. You did a great job bringing out his thoughts and feelings!
