Chapter one: Hogwarts Express

Harry, Hermione and Ron was in an empty compartment in the Hogwarts Express. Hermione and Ron were looking at each other not knowing what to say to Harry, “Umm... How was your summer Harry." Hermione asked as if she was trying to tiptoe around some issue. Harry who was looking out the window still is thinking about Sirius on how he could count on him to be there. "Dismal I keep on living that day when Sirius left us. How dare he do that" Harry raised his voice with every word.
"Harry it was not your fault or his" Hermione tried to reason with him. “Yes it was! If I been a good boy and not leave the castle he would still be alive." Harry Yelled.
“How would you know if He did not have Sirius?" Ron spoke up. Just then the compartment door open and in came Ginny, Neville, and Luna. “What’s going on?" Ginny said. “Yeah we heard you from other side of the train." said Neville. Harry turned back his attention to the window.
It went quite in the compartment. In came Draco and his gang. "Why is it the famous Harry Potter and his mudblood friend!" Draco said. "Shove it Malfoy!" Ron angrily. "So how’s your father in Azkaban Uh." asked Ron. He struck a nerve of Dracos because he and his gang flexed their fist. “OH he won't he wont be there much longer." Draco said in reply. With that he left the compartment. "What did he mean by that?" Harry wondered. No body answered for they arrived at Hogwarts. They all grab their stuff and came off the train and heard a familiar voice. "Hey guy" boomed Hagrid.

They did not have time to talk for he was to take the first years by boat to the school. The group made their way to the Carriages, “I don't think I get used to see those things.” Harry said. The group did not want to evoke another Yelling match so they keep quite about it and got into the Carriage.

Moments later they were in the great hall. "Welcome back to another wonderful year at Hogwarts!" Dumbledore said to the Great Hall.
Harry was not sure how he felt about him after what happened but he felt safe with him here. “I would like to say a few words before we get to the sorting. As we all know that Voldmort is back we need to stick together as a Family everyone of us." With that said Let the sorting begins." Dumbledore finished.

McGonagall came up and placed the stool and the hat in the center. The sorting hat song his new song and McGonagall started to say" As I call your name please come up and be sorted into your houses. Mark Evans... "Gryffindor!" Said the sorting hat. As it trailed on Ron was getting impatient because he was ready for the feast to begin.

Dumbledore Stood up and Said “Ok before we start feasting I like to say a few words... Zippy Do Da... Let the feast begin." He said with a smile. With that Dinner plates became full. “Wait he did not tell us who is the new DADA teacher is. In the matter of fact there is no new teacher there." Hermione said in a matter of fact tone of voice. “Maybe it is someone like Lupin" Ron said jokingly. “That’s not funny Ron!" Countered Hermione.

The Owl post came and Hedwig came swooping by with a note tied to his foot. "Hey Hedwig" Harry said. Hedwig nipped Harry's hand affectingly. He took the note of her leg and read it. "It's from Hagrid he says meet him Tomorrow after classes."

The Whole Grand Hall was in a buzz about what they did over the summer. Harry, Hermione and Ron were talking about what was going to happen this semester. They were all having a great time, when the Great Doors flew open. And in came a disheveled looking witch. She looked like she was running to get here. She was also clutching her bag for it was about to rip apart from the seams. "Who's She?" Harry and Ron said in unison. "Well is it obvious? She is the new Teacher." Hermione said in irritated way.

She made it to the top table passing Snape, which was not looking pleased that she made it; she sat down and started talking to Dumbledore. "Did you see the look that Snape face? Ron with a chuckle "Yeah, I guess that he thought since she did not make it to the school, that he would be teaching the class." Harry answered with a smile. The new teacher looked over there direction and gave a little wink and went back to talking to the headmaster. "What was that about?" Harry looked shocked " Could she of heard us?" Harry continued. "I don't know. It was weird though." Hermione answered.

When all the plates were empty Dumbledore stood up once more time and said, " Before we dismissed you, I would like to welcome our new DADA teacher Miss Katrina Leane Carlisle." With the introduction she stood up and waved to the great hall and sat back down. “Well with that said, you’re dismissed." He finished. All the students went to there common rooms for a good night sleep. The four friends got to the portrait of the Fat Lady. The Fat Lady asked "Password Please." Ron answered "Botanical." They all stepped in and said good night and went to their Dormitories.

Chapter 2: First Day of Class



Harry woke up and went to breakfast. Hermione and Ron were already there. “Hey Harry!” Hermione said. “Here’s your class schedule Harry. We got DADA first thing this Morin’” said Ron. “Good!” Harry said. He sat down and grabbed a piece of toast. After awhile Luna came over and asked “Hey Harry, can I talk to you in private?” “Uh sure.” answered Harry.

They walked past the doors and Luna started talking “I want to ask you something.” “Ok” Harry said, but before she could finish the question Ron came out and said “Harry you better hurry or you will be late for class.” With that Harry turned his attention back to Luna, but she was gone.
“I’m coming Ron.” Harry said while wondering what was that all about.

Harry got to class and went to sit by Ron and Hermione. “What was that all about Harry” Hermione asked. “I don’t know she left before telling me” Harry whispered. Harry was looking around the room it was nothing like it was in the past. It looked like you were outside in spring time, because there were flowers everywhere and sun was shinning by the clouds. The only thing that let you know that you were inside was the desk and the door but then it was covered in ivy.

“Good Morin’ Class! My name is Katrina Leane Carlide but you can call me cat. Welcome to your first Advance DADA class” Said Kat. In return all she got was silence. With a little giggle she said “Why so silent? Yes Hermione” The trio and others were looking at each other in amazement. “Umm last year we had... “Hermione said but she was cut off. “ Ahh say no more Professor Ambridge. Well I assure you that I like all the talking. How else are you going to learn?” Kat said. “Well everyone is her so I will get started. Let’s see Lupin covered Bogart’s, Snape gave you werewolves, Right?” She continued. “Yes” Hermione said. “And the fake Mad Eye Moody taught you the Unforgivable curses. Which Harry you did very nicely on.” Kat continued.

The class was amazed that she new all this. Hermione raised her hand and asked “How do you know all this and our names?” “Well how can I put this?” Kat said. “One thing, thing do tend to spread around, Second I used to work for the ministry, and thirdly I am among the very true seers of this world.” She continued.

"Well anymore questions?" She asked "Ok, let’s get started. We will start to learn how to conjure a Prounas. With that said would the DA members to come forward to show us how it is done?" She Continued Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Neville came up front. Hermione went first and out came a playful otter. Then went Neville, Ron and last was Harry. “Oh very nice!" She said in amusement.

They all went back to their seat. "10 points each" Kat said. "What is yours Miss Kat?" Said a voice in the back. "Well take a guess." Kat said. "Is it a cat?" asked Hermione. “Nope you would think so wouldn't you?" said Kat in a thoughtful tone of voice. "We give up what is it?" asked Neville. "Well instead of telling you I will show you." Kat said. She said the incantation and out came a Unicorn. The Unicorn was white with golden horn and hoofs it pranced around the room and stopped in front of Kat. Kat reached her hand out and petted it with a little gleam in her eye and a tear. The whole class was in awe Kat regained control of herself and giggled in reaction.

"Now I don't expect all of you to get this since some of the most talented Witches and Wizard can not do this. It is advanced magic." Kat said. A hand shoots up in the air and it was Harry. "Yes Harry." Kat said. “Well I was wondering why did learn this and who taught you?" Harry asked. "Well like you I had very bad expense with Dementors" She stopped and shifted in her seat. She looked very serious as she continued to say “but that’s not something that should be discussed here in class and you don't need to know everything about my past."

"Well let get busy!" Kat said with a giggle. "Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Neville would you four be so kind to help me today by going around the classroom and helping me give pointers to the class." Kat continued. "OK" They all said in unison. They went around by the looks of it Kat was having fun with this. By the time that the she noticed the time half of the people got silvery mist coming out of their wands almost enough to see what it was. "Oh look at the time, Well Next time we will be outside to practice and study. It would be too nice of day to stay inside." She said with amusement. "Oh, Harry Hermione and Ron can I talk with you oh and Neville I got something for you. So come by my office today would you." she continued. "OK" Neville said as he was pushed out of the room.

"Let’s see Dumbledore told me that you three are great little detectives." Kat said when everyone left. “I would like to remind you to be careful, for there is a person who is out to get you three that is in this very school." Kat warned with a straight face. "Who is it?" Harry asked. "I don't know who that’s the thing" Kat answered as she hit the desk with her fist. "Now Hermione and Ron you can go I need to talk with Harry" She continued
as she waited for the other two to leave, she was shuffling papers on her desk. The door shut and only the two were left in the room. Kat started "Ok, I know that Snape was teaching you Occlimary and since he declined to teach you" She stopped and giggled a bit." Dumbledore asked me to do it." So when do you want to start today or tomorrow?" Kat asked. "Tomorrow and how do you know all this stuff?" Harry asked.

"Well Harry, I know too many things that could harm many people and there are cretin things that can't reach someone's mind. So I needed to learn. Kat said. "Also the divination teacher is not the only one who can see the enemy moves. I can predict the Death Eaters more than Voldemort himself. But there is more of a difference between us." she said with a wink. “That I am a more controlled seer than she is, but that enough about me and you better get off. You will be late and I know Snape does not take to kindly of that." She continued. "Ok thanks" Harry said with a smile and ran off to his class. Then she turned on a weird muggle station.

Chapter 3 Hagrid's Cabin


At the end of the day the tree students walked to Hagrid's cabin. " Hey you three" Hagrid boomed. They walked in the cabin and sat down. Fang put his head on Harry's lap as he always did. “How do you like your knew teacher?" Hagrid asked as he poured some tea." She great but kind of scary" Hermione answered. Hagrid gave a chuckle and said" Yes she is a little bit bubbly but she is a bit like you Hermione." "Do you her Hagrid?" Harry Asked. "Yes I know her very well in fact." Hagrid answered.

Ron was about to say something but he got interrupted by frantic knocks on the door. "I'm coming" said Hagrid trying to calm the person down. "Hello Kat" as he said as he opened the door. "No time the Dark Mark appeared in the forest. Dumbledore sent me to get you guys into the castle." Kat said in a hurry" What? What are they doing here?" Ron said. "No time! Follow me, you to Hagrid." Kat said in a rush. They Ran to the castle but just before they got there the air turn cold. Before Kat could turn around they were surrounded by Dementors. "So they are with him now." Harry whispered." Expo Proturnm" yelled the group. There was a Unicorn, an otter, a stag. , and one extra a phoenix. Harry turned around and Dumbledore was there. With the Dementor's disappeared Dumbledore ran into the forest. "Now run before any more come." Kat said. They made it to the doors and "What’s going on!" Harry asked. “The war is begging. Now you need to go in the great hall with your classmates." Kat said as she gave them some chocolate.
They all walked in the great hall which was a buzz with people trying to figure out what going on. "Now everyone be quite and settle down." McGonagall said. Just then Dumbledore walked in and the room got quite. “You all be spending the night in here." Dumbledore said as he proofed d the sleeping bags on the floor for the students. The entire student went into the sleeping bags the trio started to talk but the got into trouble with the teacher. As Harry dosed off to sleep he had no worries for Dumbledore was there.

Chapter 4 Kidnapped



The next day all the students were escorted to the classes. The next few months went buy very uneventful. Well besides the constant bickering of Hermione and Ron. One day after Holiday break, which they all stayed at the castle for, Harry said night to Ron and Hermione and went up stairs to go to bed. He entered his dormitory and pulled the curtain from his four poster bed. Someone in the corner of the room whispered “Stupefy”
When Harry awoke he found he was in an open area in the deep part of the forbidden forest. “Welcome to the party Potter!” said the nearest Death Eater. As Harry started to struggle against what was binding him. He was tied to a tree in the middle of the circle. “No, now be a good boy and stay still, while we wait.” Death eater said in tone that you talk to a two year old too. “Wait for whom?” Harry asked.

Meanwhile, in the Dormitory to talk with Harry about their recent Row that they had, but they found that he was gone. Ron went to look for Harry’s invisibility cloak to see if he went for a midnight stroll, which he has been doing a lot lately, in the castle. “The cloaks here.” said he puzzled Ron. Hermione bit her lip and said “take a look at the map. I know he came up here.” “Found it.” Ron said as he opened it and said the words that were needed to open it up. They looked at the Marauders Map, Peeves was on the third floor floating around, Dumbledore was in his office, and Snape was the same. And Katrina was walking around the front gates that opened to the grounds. “You don’t think?” as she ran her fingers across the grounds. They both looked up at each other “Dumbledore!!” They said in unison.

They ran out of the common room and down the stairs as the Fat Lady shouting at them. They finally got to the two gargoyles that guard his office. The Gargoyles gave a laugh “What’s the hurry?” “Be Quiet and open up.” Ron said testily and urgently. “No Password, No entry” The Gargoyle said testily in turn. Just them Prof. McGonagall showed up “What are you two doing out after hours? 10... “She started but got interrupted. “Harry’s gone!”

“What?” McGonagall said Wide eyes. “He is not in the dormitory or in the castle Professor.” Hermione said urgently. With out another word McGonagall said “Acid Pops. Wait here.” In his office she told Dumbledore him what they said and he sent Flawks to search around the grounds.
Katrina was walking back up to her office, when she saw Hermione and Ron by the doors. She did not have to ask with a grave nod she ran up the stairs. She met them half way up the stairs. He was also looking grave. His creases in his face showed more than ever.
“Good you’re here I was just going to find you.” Dumbledore said. “Yes sir, I was expecting something like this I was at the doors there were no one came in or out through the door.” Kat said as she gave a little bow. “Yes I was to. My fears I afraid came to be.” Dumbledore answered. “Sir what was it?” “That he would use Harry to get to me.” Dumbledore cut Kat off as they started down the stairs meeting the two people that was left on the hallway.
They were following the teachers to the Doors when McGonagall told them to stay there. Ron was about to object so did Hermione, but with a wave of Dumbledore hand "Now, They could help by getting Harry out of there while we distract them." Dumbledore looking at Prof. McGonagall. “But what if a spell goes of course or they find out that their there..." “It’s dangerous they could get hurt" McGonagall angrily. "Yes, but I don't think that we could stop them could we." Katrina made an interruption. "It better If we know their there than they go with out our permission and we not knowing it. Now that could be dangerous." "Yes she does have a point their McGonagall." Dumbledore said in agreement. "Oh very well stay Out of site." For she knew she was defeated.
With that they headed out into the Forest, following Flawks Feathers. "Sir Can I ask you something?" Hermione asked. "What is it?" Dumbledore asked. "How could they get Harry he never left the Dormitories." Hermione asked more clearly. "Good Question. You said he never left the dormitories. Even with out you seeing him?" Dumbledore answered " Yes All his things were still there" Ron answered "Katrina said that there was no one who went in or out of the doors so I supposed they used a illegal portkey." Dumbledore said. The moonlight was glowing on his face. The Creases and his care worn eyes showed up more than ever. They went in silence into the forest from that point on.

Chapter 5 the fight that would spark the last battle.

In the clearing more Death eaters were arriving. Suddenly Harry's Scar surged with pain. Voldemort came into view, in his usual cold voice. "He's not here yet? I thought he thought more highly of you." with that he gave cold laugh.
"Maybe he needs a clue to where we are. Maybe "Criccio" "Scream Harry" Voldemort was saying as he had his wand pointed towards Harry, who was curled up in a ball. “Ok maybe this." he said the incantation. Harry's head went cloudy "Scream" "No!" "Scream!" "No!" "Very well then.” As he drew closer to Harry. "We have no use for you as of now. No since of wasting magic on you." as Voldemort grabbed Harry's arm. While Harry was screaming on the inside, Voldemort was laughing. When he finally let go of Harry's arm, he was limp against his binds.
As they walked closer to the clearing Dumbledore stopped for they could almost hear the commotion. "When we get a little closer, I want you two to hide behind a tree, until Flawkes gives you the signal." "Ok" they said in unison.
As they walked little closer to the clearing, Dumbledore pointed to a tree that the two were to hide behind. Dumbledore sent Katrina to the left for she was going to call on the willing creatures in the forest to help. " Its worth a try even if none would come it would get the Death Eaters looking away from you while you enter the scene." She said as they wee walking. For a while they stood in total quite, then without any warning they heard animal calls from the direction that Katrina was. At that moment Dumbledore and McGonagall left to go into the battle while the Death eaters were looking the other way.
Hermione and Ron watched anxiously for the signal. Seeing Harry limp against the ropes, Hermione clapped her hands over her mouth almost in tears whispering "He can't be...” She could not finish it. There were red jets of light and on occasion green that always hit a tree, as the ones who were shooting them was trying to get away and sloppily aiming it. After a while cat came and joined in With a few people and Creatures. Lupin, Moody, Mr. Weasley, and Tonks with some Unicorns, a Griffon, and some Threasals,
Suddenly a burning red feather appeared out of thin air. Hermione and Ron slowly crawled towards Harry, who was showing signs of waking up. They crawled behind the tree that he was tied to and cut the ropes with their wands.
All of the sudden Voldemort and the Death eaters vanished. Dumbledore went straight to Harry as did the others. But Kat keep her back to Harry as she walked towards Harry. "I don't like this not one bit" Kat said but her voice was shaky as she watched the clearing very closely for any signs of movement. “You’re right Kat" Moody Growled and sure enough he had his blue eye in the back of his head.
Harry opened his eyes calling Sirius's name. "Harry he is gone. Are you alright?" Dumbledore said calmly. "Yes I guess so." he answered back being so rudely snapped back into reality. He was dreaming that he was talking to Sirius again. Kat get anxious every moment told them that they should leave now. She gave Harry his wand back. As she turned around she saw movement "Watch Out!" both Moody and Katrina said. But they were to late a dart hit Dumbledore in the back. "Dumbledore!!!!" Harry yelled. Dumbledore had a look of shock on his face as he turns around. McGonagall took it out of his back and dropped it as if it had electric current in it. There was a cold laugh that rang through the clearing.
Harry picked up the dart to take a look at it and he quickly looked at Hermione was had the same horror struck look that he did. Ron on the other hand since he came from an all wizard family he looked at it as it was a joke not thinking it was in fact a poisoned dart.
The Battle was on again. Dumbledore was getting slower and sloppier by the minute. Everyone was stunning the Death Eaters that went for Dumbledore. Then Voldemort came out of the forest laughing. Anger ran through Harry. "Well the big bad Dumbledore goes down today proving that I am better than you!" He said in triumph. Harry got up and ran through the barricade that the members of the order had made around the trio, to go in front of Dumbledore, to fight for him... But Dumbledore push him back. “Don’t worry Potter I will deal with you later." Voldemort laughed.
Hermione was in quite tears, and Ron had a look on his face that read that he was in disbelief. Moody walked to Dumbledore which started to fight Voldemort and whispered “I have an antidote here." Dumbledore thought for a moment “No thank you." With that Moody gave a little bow and continued to fight. Kat took control of Voldemort for Dumbledore and he went towards Harry. "I want you to know that you have made me proud and I sure your parents and Sirius also. Take the dart and put it in your pocket be careful that it does not poke you. It might come in handy before the day through." Harry could not believe He was talking as if he was giving up accepting defeat. “No, your not giving up I will not let you do that." Harry said angrily. “It’s not up to you who goes and who does not. I know it been hard for you but you’re going to have to deal with one more loss. Harry Promise me this Channel your emotions. That’s your biggest strength."
Harry shook his head “Ok I will" And Dumbledore went to take his place back fighting Voldemort. A little while after he did a Green jet of light and Dumbledore was gone. Harry went to take his place for his anger was to it breaking point, but Kat and Lupin and the rest blocked him by making a line in front of them. Kat and Author told them to get out of here. As the Death Eaters were Asking Voldemort what do they do now. “We go back to the beginning." The Death Eaters vanished but Voldemort stayed behind. The trio was so in shock that they still did not move from the spot were they were. They could here him counting to three. 1, 2, 3 at the third Harry felt a hook pulling him from some were around his navel. Everyone else disappeared.

Chapter 6 the Last Battle


Lupin, Moody, Tonks, Kat, the two Weasleys and Hermione was the only people left in the clearing. Some were Staring were Voldemort disappeared and others were Harry disappeared. Kat was staring were Harry was and thinking about what happened.
Lupin started to think out loud. “He said to go back to the begging.” But Kat interrupted his thinking. “I gave him the portkey it was my fault! I should have been more wary about it.” “What are you talking about?” Tonks asked. “It was his wand. I gave it to him. It was his wand,” Kat sounded as she was trying to fight back the tears. “Now, there’s no reason to beat your self up about it you had no way of knowing.” As Mr. Weasley came over and put his hand on her shoulder. “We got more important things to do now. We got to figure out were they went.” He continued. “Right” Kat said as she regained herself.
Meanwhile Harry appeared at a place that he never seen before, but he had a feeling he knew this place from long ago. “Welcome back to the beginning Potter, this is it all started.” Voldemort said as he appeared “Were here?” Harry asked. “You don’t remember? Well this is where your foolish parent met their downfall. And the place where I made my mistake that haunted me for 15 years.” Voldemort laughed as well as the Death Eaters. “And this place is where you Potter will meet your end.” “You mean this is Godric Hollow?” Harry asked trying to by sometime. “Yes, now enough chit chat Potter. Lets fight this time you can’t get away and there is no one here to help you. All Dumbledore’s Protection over you is disappeared.”
Voldemort sent a spell towards Harry, but Harry ducked just in time. Harry sends jinks that hit Voldemort. “Very good Potter, but you going to have to do better than that.” Voldemort said with a chuckle that gave shivers down Harry’s back. They fought for an hour or more when Voldemort stopped playing and started to use the killing curse, each time Harry duck it hit the wall causing it to fall and burst into flames.
Harry ducked for the sixth or seventh time; the wall fell on top of Harry’s legs. Feeling that his legs would not support his weight he quickly got into the crawling position. As he did so he felt something sharp was poking his legs. He took it out of his pocket and sent another stunning spell and he rolled to miss a Green jet. As he did so Dumbledore’s words came back to him.” It might come in handy sometime… Channel your emotions.” “How do I do that?” Harry thinking then a sudden dawned on him and he gave a smile “Right” that time Harry was speaking out loud.
“You killed my parents, you Killed Sirius, you killed Dumbledore you even tried to kill me numerous times. You killed every one that loved me and been a father figure in my life. You’re going down!!!” Harry yelled on the top of his lungs. And Voldemort answered “Yes, Yes I did, but your mistaken I got the upper hand and it your time to go.”
He shouted the killing curse again. Harry did not move. “No” Wormtail shouted as he jumped in the way of the green jet. Wormtail laid there dead. “Foolish!” Voldemort laughed. “Wingardium Lavsoa” Harry whispered and sent the dart flying right to Voldemort's chest. He quickly took it out with a look of shock on his face. Harry smiled, and Voldemort sent another green jet of light. It hit the wall and the whole house caved in, falling on top of Harry.
Harry laid their buried under all that rubble on the brink of unconsciousness. He felt something sticking through his leg. Thinking is he gone, is he dead, or he still out there. If he was why does he not come and get me to finish it off? About five minutes of silence he lost consciousness.

Chapter 7

“Back to the beginning, of course Godric Hollow.” Lupin cried after ten minutes after Harry disappeared. “Then lets go it take us an hour to get to a place were we can appereate there. We will have to come back to get Dumbledore’s body.” Kat said. “Right lets go.” Moody growled. They ran through the forest. Ron and Hermione behind them, for they felt it was safer for them to go than to have them stay there just in case the Death Eaters came back.
“Someone will have to make a portkey for them.” Moody growled, and Mr. Weasley gave him a pencil that he had in his pocket. “Portus” and gave it to Ron and Hermione. “Ok Ron Hermione count to three after three seconds after where gone ok. “ Mr. Weasley said quickly “Molly would have a row with me if she knew what I was letting to two go.” He said with laughter in his eyes and they left.
They appeared at Godric Hollow. The Death eaters were there trying to figure out what to do. Voldemort laid their sprawled n the floor dead. The six people stunned and tied up all the Death Eaters but one who was helping.
Hermione and Ron got there as Kat asked Snape where was Harry. “Not sure just got here a little before you did.” Snape answered. Hermione was in tears while Ron stunned but a little joy in his voice. “He done it, He’s gone.” seeing Voldemort was on the floor.
Hermione notice something sticking out of the rubble and walked to grab it. “Harry’s wand!” She said in replenished tears. They all dug into the pile of wood. It was McGonagall who saw a part of the body first. “It’s his hand.” She cried. About two minutes later they uncovered his whole body.
They all thought he was dead, so none of them touched his body but just sat down were they where. Lupin was trying to comfort Kat and Tonks while Mr. Weasley and Professor McGonagall was doing the same to Ron and Hermione. Moody went over and made sure that none Death Eaters were about to escape. While Snape went to tell the Ministry that Voldemort is gone for good. “We should get out of here and get Dumbledore’s body.” Kat said in a daze. “Right.” Moody growled.

Kat picked up Harry, as she did so she nearly dropped him in shock. "He's alive! He's alive!” Kat shouted out of joy. Hermione gasped. They ran towards Harry Lupin checked his pulse and said "Yes there is still hope, but it very frail. We need to get him to St Mugus." He looked relieved that he was still alive.
"Someone will have to go get Dumbledore's body." "I do that." Moody answered Kat in a soft growl. "Here is a portkey to get you to St Mugus." Moody said giving a plank of wood to lupin before he left. "I should get back to the school. The kids will need to know what happened expressly the Gryffindor house. Keep in touch" McGonagall said with a worried look in her face and tone. "Wait shouldn't Hermione and Ron goes with you?" Tonks asked. "No!!" The two said in protest. “No Tonks Harry is their best friend they have the right to be there." McGonagall replied and she left.
"Ready to go?" Kat said as she rearranged herself and Harry so that both of them were touching the piece of wood. Everyone else grabbed the plank and counted to three and they left the Godric Hollow.

Chapter 8 St Mugus


They appeared in St Mugus and a friendly worried looking healer was there waiting for them. Kat put Harry on the stretcher that the healer conjured up. They followed her until she went into the room, were Mr. Weasley proofed in some chairs for everyone. Hermione was in tears and Ron was staring at the floor with a look of disbelief on his face. "Is he going to make it?" Ron asked quietly. "It’s all up to him if he does or not." Mr. Weasley said
Just then Mrs. Weasley and the twins were running down the corridor. Mr. Weasley quickly got up to cut her off. She looked like she was going to break down any minute. “Is he alright?" She said tearing up. "Is he still alive?" "Of course he is still alive he would not be here if he wasn't" the twins looked scandalous. "Hush boys." Mr. Weasley interrupted before a row started. "Yes but barely, it is just a waiting game right now." He continued "Where’s Dumbledore I don't see him." Mrs. Weasley asked. “He is gone. Moody went to get his body." Mr. Weasley said gravely and hugged his wife. The twins plopped them selves down on the chair that they conjured up. Their usual joyous face was now only sorrow and bewilderment was on it.
In the room the Healer took out the piece of wood that went through Harry's leg and mended it up. They forced down blood replenish potion down him. The healer came out and said “We done all we can for him. There is little improvement in him. But I sure with rest and some more of the potion he will make it if he wants to." "Can we go in and see him?" Fred asked. "Yes, but quietly." She said as she went to check on other patients.
They all went in the room and Sat down by Harry Staring at him. "He looks a wreck" Fred said trying to smile. "Of course, what do you expect he had a house fall on top of him." Mrs. Weasley said in a raised whisper.
They sat the waiting. Day went into Weeks. Kat was in every afternoon for she had classes to go to. One day all but Hermione and Ron left to go get some tea. Hermione broke down and started to talk to Harry Speaking between sobs. "Harry... You can't... give up... You just can't." Ron got up from his chair and put his hand on her shoulder and Hermione turned and put her head on his shoulder. "She right mate. You can't." Ron said in a distance.
Harry was not their in sprite, but in a place that some call limbo. He was talking to everyone that he lost. There was Sirius, Dumbledore and his parents. Cedric and Wormtail came once but quickly left. Cedric wanted to say thank you for what you did. Asked if he knew how they were doing. Wormtail came and said sorry for what he has done not just to Harry but to Lily and James. Harry just said "thank you for what you did you saved me from that curse." “Look Wormtail we forgive you saved our son. You may have caused us not to be there for Harry growing up and made him stay at my awful sister. But you did the right thing in the end." Lilly said while James agreed and with that Wormtail gave a bow and left.
"We are all very proud of you my son." Lily said. "Yes we all are!" Sirius agreed. Harry looked at Sirius and all his feeling exploded. “I’m sorry it my fault that you gone." Harry said. "It’s not your fault. I could not have just stayed in that prison knowing that you were in danger." Sirius said as he hugged Harry. "Plus Harry, I have told you that it was not your fault I am to blame for not telling you why you have that scare. Forgive me Lilly and James." Dumbledore added. "Theirs nothing to forgive." James and Sirius said Smiling at Dumbledore. "It was an old fool mistake." Dumbledore continued
"You are no fool." Harry said in a hurt and embarrassed tone.
"My son I think it is time for you to go back to the living." Your friends are probably worrying about you." James said. "Do I have to? I don't want to. I mean I never had the time to really get to know you and Mom" Harry pleaded. “Yes dear, it is time." Lilly said, "Besides you have someone yelling at you on the other end." Dumbledore said with a chuckle. "Alright." Harry said grumpily. They gave their last goodbyes and hugs, and Sirius said “Now don't blame your self for any of us alright." "And get good grades on the NEWT." James said. "Alright I will." Harry said with a smile.
In the hospital the group came back and Kat came back from school to check up on him. They brought two cup of tea for Ron and Hermione. They all sat their staring at Harry drinking their tea. Kat was the first one to notice that Harry was stirring. "He's waking up!" Kat said as she jumped up and dropped her cup.
His eyes slowly opened as the pain suddenly came back and made him close them again. "Were am I? What happened to Voldemort and how long have I been out?" Harry said drowsily. Mr. Weasley answered because the twins and Kat and the rest was jumping for joy, and Mrs. Weasley was trying to quite them down. He chuckled and said “You're at St Mugus. Voldemorts gone and you have been out for two weeks now." The Healers came in happy as can be. "Where are my glasses? Harry asked. “Here I fixed them the best I could. Still a few scratched on the lenses." Lupin answered. Harry turn to him. " Lupin I am glad I stopped you guys from killing Wormtail. He saved my life." Harry said as he put his glasses on. "That’s good something good came out of it from that day." Lupin smiled.
The healers gave Harry a potion. "It's to help with the pain." He took it and the healer ran out of the room singing he awake all the way down the corridors. Hermione ran and put her arms around Harry. "I heard you guys when I was up there with my family." Harry said once Ron got her off of him. "You did?" Hermione Blushed. "Come on lets get out of here so he can get some rest." With that Mrs. Weasley ushering everyone out of the room with a smile and a tear on his face. "Right glad you’re alright Harry!" Kat said as she regained herself and walked out of the room.

Chapter 9: Going back to school.


A week has passed and Harry was feeling better. He finally defeated Voldemort, and he had his friends with him. After a day that he woke up, Hermione and Ron started to go back to school during the day and coming back in the afternoons with Kat.
It was 3 in the afternoon a half an hour till the supper was going to be served in the great hall when the Healer came in an told Harry that he could go back to school. Harry was ready in five minutes. When Harry realized that they had no head master anymore he asked Mr. Weasley “Professor McGonagall. She has taken his place as well as her teaching duties. She is the Deputy Headmistress after all. She was happy and relieved that you were ok but with having to deal with the school she could not come." He said.
"Now the question how to get to school, should we take the Knight Bus or a portkey." Mr. Weasley asked Harry with a smile. "The Knight Bus!!" Harry said real quickly. And laughter filled the room. "I suppose you have had enough of portkeys uh?" Mr. Weasley said with a wink and Harry smiled. "Right lets go."
They walked out unto the muggle streets and walked a little was away from the building that now looked like a run down old store from the 80's. Mr. Weasley stuck his wand out and the purple bus appeared. “Conrad’s 'Arry" Stan said smiled "Welcome aboard the ride is free. Hit it Ern" He continued as they got on. "Hogemaede station, Please." Mr. Weasley told Stan. As Harry walked he received cheers and pat on the back by the some of the passengers.
They got to the Hogameade Station and got off from the bus. "Well be good Harry and good luck." Mr. Weasley said as he gave him a hug. "Thanks... for everything." Harry told him. "No problem, your part of our family blood or not." Mr. Weasley smiled. “You’ll better go you might make it to supper in the Great Hall." “Bye" Harry said before he left walking towards the Castle. Something was flying towards him. He stopped and watching it. "Hedwig!" Harry said as she landed on his shoulder. She nipped at his hand affectingly "I missed you too." Harry said as he started to walk in the doors.
He walked to the doors to the Great Hall and put his hands on the door handle and gave a deep breathe as he was taking a plunge in freezing water. When he opened them and walked in every one in the room gave him a standing ovation. Well not three members of the Slytherin house. He heard McGonagall saying over the applause “Conrad’s and Welcome Back." She was sitting in her usual seat. Dumbledore seat was still empty. Harry went to set down by Hermione and Ron after the applause calmed down and ate some food. “I wonder if Kat is going to leave." Harry asked. “Nope I am staying for a long time." Kat came down from the Top table.
There was a week before Finals. They sat in the Library studying hard for their classes. One day in the Library Luna came and wanted a word with Harry again. He walked towards an empty isle. “By the way, what did you want earlier in the year?" Harry asked. Luna was blushing "Harry... Will you ... Will you gooutwithme." Luna said real quickly. “What?" Harry asked politely. Luna gave a big gulp and repeated " Will you go... with me? Harry wondered if he acted this way with Cho she must of though he was pretty stupid. “Sure." Harry said "Why not." Luna gave him a real big hug and Smiled. "Well I got to go study I got my first final in an hour." Luna said still a little red. “See you Harry." "See You." Harry called after her.
He walked back to the table that they were at and sat down. “What did she want?" Ron asked "Umm She asked me out." Harry said with out making eye contact with him. Hermione Said "It’s about time. She has been talking about it all year. She was so worried about you... So what did you say? "He said no of course! Didn't you Harry" Ron said as it was a joke. “I said yes" Harry said still not making eye contact with him. “You’re kidding right she's loony that one." Ron continued "No I am not kidding so any who speaking of Girlfriends are you to going out yet?" Harry finally made eye contact with both of them and gave a smile. Hermione quickly turned red and Ron did also they dropped their quills. "Well?" Harry asked when they didn't answer. "Don't laugh but yes" Hermione said looking away from Harry.
The Finals came and went. It came the day of the Feast Harry was packing before he left Ron helped him. Ron was chatting with Harry as they packed. “You know with Voldemort gone I am sure that my parents will let you stay at our house." Ron told him. "You could have Percy’s old room." he continued. “I would like that but I insist paying rent.” Harry Smiled.
They finally got done packing they headed to the Great Hall. It was not decorated in the house cup but in black the same as the year when Cedric Died. “Another year has gone, though this is joyous and not so joyous departure. Joyous is because Voldemort is defeated for good Thanks to Harry Potter. But sadness for we lost the greatest Head Master Hogwarts ever had. Albus Dumbledore. Three cheers for Dumbledore." The room was filled with cheers, for him." Now let’s go home and remember what happened this year." Professor McGonagall said before she dismissed them.
The way home was a joyous one. Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny, Luna and Neville, were all chatting. People came to stop by their compartment to talk to Harry. One of the perks is that when Malfoy and his gang came near a group of DA members came by and they backed away. Harry was sad to see the train stop at Kings Cross. He grabbed his trunk and Hedwig and walked through the gate after saying good bye to Luna and Neville. He saw Mr. Weasley and Mrs. Weasley with rest of the Wealsey gang. But Mr. Weasley was with the Dursley talking with them. Telling them what happened and asking if Harry could stay with them. "Come here Harry, I was chatting with you uncle and asked if you want to of course live with us." Mr. Weasley asked. “I would love that" Harry Smile feeling overjoyed me free of the Dursleys at last.
He went over to the Dursleys and told him that he is willing though Harry was surprised they did not run away before they got the answer, but when they did leave they left with a bounce in their step. "Well that settles it you’re staying with us." Mr. Weasley said with a smile. Hermione's parents were their wait for her. “see you later you two." She gave them a big hug and said goodbye. Harry as walked with Ron he was staring at the muggle trains he took at his reflection and said “I never thought I say this but I going to miss my scar."
