Well i thought id make a thread for dreams that do not relate to HP so here it is.

i always have the starngest or weirdest or funniest dreams. sometimes they are about boys, sometimes movies. the weirdest thing is sometimes my dreams come true! like the time i had a dream about my friend Brendan, but this was before i met him. and then i did. weird huh? so tell everyone about your own dreams or a weird dream a friend had or something. its ok, we can keep a secret lol. just know that you dont have to tell anyone if you dont want to.

Last night i had the most oddest dream ever. I was killing all these dead people. I dont know how i can kill dead people but i was. And then i was running away for like hours in the end i got away and woke up. yay .

One good thing is i always have dreams everynight and still know what they were about when i wake up.

i usually have dreams, but i don't remember them when i wake up... but sometimes i have the same dream over and over again, it's pretty scary... i have a lot of falling dreams (like falling off the cliffs)...

but i'm not a very superstitious person, so when i wake up, i forget... or if i remember i'll be like "dreams are opposite"...

i remember my friend wrote a whole story on her dream.. i would never be able to remember the whole dream and be able to write every single detail of it into a story

Well i'm up and this is what happen . I was playing usa football but i was one of the best in the world at rugby so i was playing with out padding and everyone ran away from me. Then i had some very odd one about skateboarding and i couldnt fall off. Im messed in the head i know.

I always get them when I'm over stressed and they are usually detailed and confusing which wakes me up at about 04:30 -> 05:30. Cause I need to escape from whatever situation the dream has put me in.

I normally don't dream/get the remembering type ones cause I don't get enough sleep to do so. I think the remembering ones happen after so many hours sleep or something.

Most dreams if I get them don't envolve me, and they usually contain the last object that I paid alot of attention to before I went to sleep.

Yeah, I can relate to that. I've been getting a lot of those types of dreams lately...probably because uni is ending soon. I have this huge phobia that'll end up working back in a shop and I guess that's the reason why I keep dreaming lately that I'm back in the first job I ever had. Makes me wake up with the shivers, I tell you. I'm sure there are far worse things in life than working in a shop; it's just a personal little neurosis of mine...

Nothing... nothing, is getting me to go back to work at Argos. After 3 years and 8 months working in three different stores every weekend during term time and every week day during the holidays, i've had enough of the retail environment. Give me boring office work anyday.

seeing how i just woke up my dream is still fresh in my memory.

What happened was that i was at my school dance. i was with this guy named Travis. we had started dancing when my friend Jenna came up and started beating me up cause she wanted to dance with him. Travis wouldn't let her. Then we went to the closest ice cream shop where his friends and their girfriends met us. We walked to his friend Stephens house were we stayed up the entire night playing X box.

I have very strange dreams. some are happy and some arent. for example, ive had an awesome dream in which i was playing quidditch. and ive also had a dream where the ringwraiths from LOTR where continuously chasing and killing me.... that was scary

Some of my dreams are a bit mad i barely ever remember them, and I actually sort of sense that i'm asleep and dreaming. Like once, i dreamt that a friend of mine moved back from Hong Kong. My Dreams are kind of psychic too. Like, one night i dreamt that my mum, who was pregnant at the time, had her baby. (it also involved Prince Charles, but that's another story) And the next day, my mum actually had her baby1 Spooky! I think i'm psychic. *Consults Crystal Ball*

ok i had a very odd dream. it took place in Chinatown NY NY. here it is:

My friend Mo, Bevo, and I are in Chinatown shopping with my crush Nico. all of a sudden Mo disappeared! so me and Bevo walked with Nico across the street to a store. Bevo disappeared. Nico and I walked along until we found my cat Kessy sitting on a stoop with a white rat with red beety eyes in her mouth! it was gross i know. i picked up kessy and put her into a baby stroller. Nico pushed the stroller to a store. there was no one in the store except for us and those clothing dummies that freak me out. all of a sudden the dummies started talking to us! how freaked out we were! they gave us 5 plastic bags (and to this day i have no clue as to what they were really for lol) so we put Kessy inside of them. we put the bags that held Kessy into the stroller and left the store right when it began to rain. kessy, the bags, and the stroller disappeared when the rain touched them. Nico held my hand. he then kissed me! after that i woke up.

I had the weirdest scariest dream well maybe a nightmare
it was like a dawn of the deadish one mix with resisdent evil
and all this zombies movie it was freakin creepy and I
can still remember parts of it thank god my mums woke me up!

when i was younger, about 6 or 7, i had this re-occuring dream about dinosaurs. i'm pretty sure it started after i watched jurassic park, that's the only logical thing that could have triggered my weird dinosaur dream.
anyways, what i remember from it, is that i was ALWAYS with people i didn't know, but in the dream, they were my best friends, and this T-Rex was always chasing me and it ate all of my friends, but i hid behind this small wall and survuved. it was the exact same dream each time.
and recently, i had a dream about my bestest friend, though it was quite disturbing (get your minds out of the gutter!!!)
right after i read the department of mysteries chapter of OoTP, i had a dream that my best friend was in this dark hallway/room, and a dull spotlight was shining on her, but she was stapling herself. and i couldn't do anything about it because i wasn't really there, i just saw it happening, and she was enjoying herself greatly, and there was blood and EW i hope i never dream it again.

wow! that was some weird dreams. in my life, i have had 4 or 5 dreams about my crush Nico. isnt that wierd? ive only known him for about 8 weeks!

only, using about 4 ft. salami instaed of 14 ft poles, and jumping over very long drumsticks instead of the padded pole hanging between the rivet thingies...

i always have dreams about running, well i do before i have a track meet...and like i'll be running but nothing will work...and am trying to get to the end but somthings holding me back!

i have a lot of flying dreama myself and one was really good it was a bit like peter pan i was flying across the moon and up to the stars ans looked at all the planets and i visited many worlds and that dream kept going on about 3 nights

I usually have dreams. Sometimes my dreams are nightmare and sometimes my dreams are very sweet Lately,I've been dreaming about my crush So sweet~Maybe I've been missing him crazy~

Anywho..seriously,some of my dreams are scarey. I still remember that I was brought by white dressed man flying over the clouds and he brought me to see the heaven and hell but they all seemed to be blurred. I told my mom about this and she said, I must change to be a good girl. Well, I am a good girl but not ermm..100%

Sometimes,my dreams are what i call pshychic. I had a dream that I played with my hair but not an ordinary hair,it was the technic rebonding hair(straightened) which i always wanted. I woke up and then thought to myself,*sighs* that would never happen to me,I don't have enough pocket money but then months after that,mom asked me to have my hair straghtened(originally my hair is straight but i want straight more -asian style). Once, i had a dream that i wore spectacle,then my mom brought me to have my eyes checked and then,well you know it. Or maybe this is only a coincidence?

Superstitions:Never ever told someone about your ermm..what i call your "sweet dreams"(like your mom bought you new mp3 or cell phone in your dream) because if you tell, your sweet dream will not happen in your real life. I'm trying not to believe this,teehee.

My dream last night - and count yourselves lucky cos I've told no-one else - I was pregnant. Yes. My ultimate fear. I hate kids...and it seemed to go on the whole night and every time i woke up and went back to sleep it was still there. I was more like a nightmare..

okay I had the greatest dream ever you might already guest what it was about( take a look at my sig than you can roll your eyes) if you haven't guess what it was about than my god you must be really slow. So it was I was at a Interpol concert than I went backstage made out with alll of them this was funny than we were all talking in spanish than I became the offical groupie who travels with them everywhere it was so weird but it was great.


now to my real world i have meet them in person when they came to play a concert here they are really nice guys but it didnt turn out like my dream ( I wish it did ) so yes well thats about it I think .

I'm running from this lady chasing me and when I look back, she keeps getting fatter and fatter and then she bursts into tears. And I got scared so I hid in a cookie jar.

I had an absolutely HILARIOUS dream the other night...

My friend was a mafia Don and I was his wife, and my other friend was his wife-on-the side. Two of my guy-friends were his "protectors."

Anyway, there was a gunfight and everyone died.

When I told him (the Don) about it today, he laughed hysterically and said, "That is SO the way I want to die!"

That is hillarious! okay. Let me think of a dream, ummm...

Okay, so, I was in this really odd house and I walked in on my sister and my brother making out, and I was like, "oh my god!" and they were like laughing. and then they changed into dogs and dissappeared.

Hey This isn't a joke folks. I dreamed one night a little while ago that I was fighting Voldemort in the Graveyard,sourrounded be Voldemorts Deat-Eaters. Harry had died so I had to take over, but after I tried out some spells on Voldemort,whicht of coures didn't work on him, I became to afraid to fight any more so I started running. The graveyeard was very big, and Voldemorts just kept gaining on me and gaining on me, it didn't matter how fast or how long I runned, he just kept gaining and suddenly I fell over out of breath. At that point Voldemort raised his wand and cried out Avadakedavra, I saw a flash of green light comeing towards me and that's when I woke up, all sweaty and scared to death, and breathing very hard and fast.
Gee that's scary, it was like he was really there and I was going to die. MAN!

lol, Lulu... that's not dream, mate! That's *nightmare* !! Gosh... I'd wake up all sweaty too if I were you!

Anyway, I always dreams of something when I go to sleep. Sometimes I wish I don't though... cause it makes as if I haven't got any rest at all... *sigh* If only I can get a hold on the 'Dreamless Potion'...

I always have weird dreams. Just last night, I had a dream that I got on the Knight Bus (no joke, people), but I had a bomb down my pants (don't ask... cause I don't know). And then random stuff happened that I don't remember now.

I had this other dream also that I was on a broomstick going UP and DOWN and UP and DOWN and I just couldn't seem to stay steady. Well, I ended up flying over Voldemort and his Death Eaters, and Voldemort was lecturing the Death Eaters on his next plan to get Harry. Well, Voldemort saw me and they all started casting spells at me and I fell off my broom and when I hit the ground, I woke up.

Also, sometimes, in my dreams, when I fall off a cliff or something, I wake up and I'm actually falling off my bed and I hit the ground. That is the freakiest experience ever. Cause when you wake up from a dream, you expect it to be over, but all of a sudden you're still falling, and you thinking "what the heck is happening to me!?"

Also, I get deja-vu all the time! I relate this to dreams cause when I go through life I always get these moments where I had that EXACT same experience in a dream.

Whatever, I'm a freak. Ha ha ha!

I had a dream last night I put on a women's upper undergarment...and it was leather, maybe a leather corset? Heck if I know, it was a dream!

it is not so much a question if you have dreams, but if you remember them. I, for one, am happy to say i do not remember any of my dreams from the past year and probably way farther back.

do you ever have dreams where you have a misunderstanding with someone in them and you wake up and are annoyed with them for a few minutes until you realise that it never actually happened? that happened to me this morning and has happened a few times!!

Yes, maeve I know exactly what you're talking about. One time I ahd a dream my best friend deserted me for my enemy, and I was really mad at her all day, and after a long time I realised it was just a dream. When I was younger I used to be able to turn my dreams on and off. One time I woke up rectiting a book! One time I had a dream the trio came to my town and I was cast as Luna Lovegood!

I once had a really weird dream that my mom and I got stuck driving on the highway (or whatever the people in England or wherever call it). My mom got out to walk for gas and two fat ladies hopped in and drove away. Somehow I got to the cops house and I couldn't find my parents anywhere and neither could the police. I woke up and that afternoon we almost ran out of gas. LUckily I told my mom we were running low on gas. I estimated that we wouldve run out of gas in the exact same spot we got stuck in in my dream (We passed that spot on the way to whereever we were going.) My dream is what i consider a freaky, wacked up dream!! I'm so grateful our minds create stories in the night time cuz I didn't want to be stuck with two fat ladies and some police!!!

I sometimes like my dreams.. I end up thinking about them all day, for some reason, even though they're not that important. I've had this one dream about three times already..

The beginning is different (I can't remember it), but then I have a task, to go somewhere on my bike. So, I begin riding my bike on my sidewalk, and then, suddenly, I'm in this room, that has a door at the end, and a large, glass window. Outside the window, it looks like a sea..(it was sunny that day), and I try going out the other door (I'm still on my bike) and I lose control and go crashing into the glass window, at least that's what I thought. When I went for the window, I realized that the glass wasn't there anymore (I knew there was a glass because I could see it), and my bike went out of the window, and I was hanging on its seel. The window was about three stories high, by the way, and I have no idea how that happened. And the next thing, was that I was falling, and I woke up. The dream doesn't really relate to anything, at least I don't think it does, but I've had it at least two or three times, and I think that should mean something..

I have many dreams and I remember a lot of them. I mostly remember ones that I really like. I have strange dreams, scary dreams, and great dreams. Sometimes I have the same dream. Not the same exact one, but similar with a little part of that dream in it. I remember one time (this might be boring, but oh well!) I had a nice dream. Or at least it was to me. There was this guy that I had never seen in my life in this dream. He was cute, nice, funny, and sweet. I met him in my dream at lunch in school. He sat next to me and we flirted a little. We fooled around at lunch and he made me laugh a lot. Then we saw each other again at lunch the next day and the same thing happened. I don't know why, but I really enjoyed that dream. I guess because I thought that it is possible for that to happen because sometimes a guy that I have a crush on will be in my dream and he'll flirt with me. Or he'll act differently. But I didn't even know this guy and he treated me with respect. I was happy when I woke up. It was weird in a way though. I know, you can say it. I'm stupid. lol I've had other wonderful dreams about other stuff too like movies, TV, celebrities,etc.

I guess this is a little creepy, but every time another Harry Potter movie is going to come out the next day, I have a dream about it. One time I had a dream before Chamber of Secrets that they replaced the actors with 20 year olds, and it was really bad. Then, before Prisoner of Azkaban, I had a dream I was on the Hogwarts Express, and Ron kept staring at me and when I asked him why he said he was watching a movie!

Aw, you guys who like your dreams are so lucky! Sometimes I have good dreams (like that I woke up one morning and knew how to drive a car without having to practice or they decided to allow 16+ Americans go to Edinburgh Castle the day of the 'Half-Blood Prince' release... something along those lines.... ), but for the most part, my dreams are about exam grades. Once I had a really awful dream that I got a combined score of 500 on my SATs... but then I realized that would be quite an achievement, given that the lowest possible combined score is 600 these days. I had an equally terrifying dream that I had a thirty-page history paper due, and when I was in the middle of looking something up, my textbook spontaneously caught on fire.

Man... Those are really weird dreams. You're all lucky to remember them. I haven't really remembered a dream for a few years now, but I'll never forget this one:

Have any of you played the N64 game "Goldeneye?"

No, this is part of the dream. I dreamt(sp?) that I was playing Goldeneye with one of my friends. We were on a level that you normally couldn't play multiplayer on: the Runway. We were playing co-op for some reason (also impossible). I remember taking first person view of the guy I was controling, as if I was actually Bond. I watched my friend run up to a soldier and start jumping up and down, not shooting a gun at all (you also can't jump). The guard kneeled down and started spraying and praying (as we Counter-Strike players call it) with his AK47, never hitting my friend who was no more than a foot away from the guy, simply jumping up and down. Then the guard ran out of bullets.

And pulled out throwing knives.

My friend kept jumping up and down as a barrage (and I mean it when I say that. It was like 10 knives per throw and he was throwing them really fast) of knives came flying at him, but just flew past. It was really funny, a guy jumping up and down in front of a guy throwing an impossibly giant amount of knives at him, his head bobbing up and down with my friend.

And then I woke up. Weird, eh?

This night I had this really, really wierd dream.
I was on a school trip and we were driving a bus. Suddenly a black hole apperas behind us. You know like a black hole in the universe that sucks up and crushes everything that comes to close to it. We all runs away because the bus was about to be sucked into the hole. It was the end of the world, suddenly I stood on a dock and half of the city behind me was already sucked up, so I jumped into the see, but it appeard to be a huge, huge waterfall right in front of me, but I thought that the black hole was going to suck up the hole world anyway so why don't just die right now ( really that's what I thought in my dream) so I start falling and after a minute or so I hit the bottom, at least I thought it was the bottom, but it wasn't, there were several steps of waterfalls down were I fell, and on every step there was water that I fell into, but I didn't get hurt. So after five such steps of waterfalls I landed at last on the real bottom, but still I wasn't hurt. I climbed on a rock that stood up from the water. Then a girl from my class comes in a volvo 240 driving on the water (She doesn't know how to drive). She said she had cancer and offered me to drive me up the waterfalls. I got in the car and she drove up the water. When we reached the top, the rest of the class was waiting for us. All of them was about to jump down the same waterfall as I had. That's when I woke up. But it was still so early, so I wen't to sleep again, and blimey, the dream continued.

We was once more in the bus driving and the black hole behind us was still sucking and crushing, but this time we just stayed in the bus waiting for the hole to suck us all up.
And eventual it did. but it felt wierd. It didn't hurt at all, it actually was a cind of good feeling, but wierd at the same time. And on top of all things I was scared to death but at the same time happy. I can't explain why.
In the end it all went black, and I think that was the end of the world.

I had this one really weird dream just before star wars came out.
I had a dream that I was Luna Lovegood in OotP and the story basically played out in my dreams... but with a starwars theme. Like voldemort looked like darthvader and we all had light sabers, and hogwarts was in the stars.

this board was down and all the information of book 7th of the harry potter books was here but the board was down .
it was terrifying !!!!


but all is well now

Whenever I'm having nightmares, I can't remember it at all except for this one. I think I was eight years old and I dreamt that my parents and my younger brother went to moon and they left me. It really made me cry.

But I'm happy that whenever I'm having nightmares, I couldn't remember it. But the dreams stay with my memory for the rest of the day. And I'm able to write it on my diary.
