Hello HP fans-
As you all know Percy has behaved far worse than what his siblings even attempt to do in the most recent novel. mad.gif
Now put yourself in the shoes of one or more of the charcters affected by Percy's actions.
Harry, Hermy, Ron, Ginny, Gred, Forge, Bill, Charlie, Molly, Dumbly-dor, Arthur...,
Since Voldemort's return has been acknowledged by the Wizarding world, what would you do to Percy?
avrilluver
i personaly would give him the silent treatment. he will probably beg forgiveness once voldie goes public, but i will honor siruses memory by doing as he would. he said in book 5 that onece they face reality, the whole ministry will give their apology, and he's "not sure he'll be accepting their aplogy when that day comes" so neither will i.
Oliver (D69)
Hmmm slap him for about ten minutes then kick him for 20 minutes. then use the silent treatment on him maybe add a hex aswell
hermi_ron
i'll break his wand and send him to another galaxy! rolleyes.gif
Hermoine
i would forgive him but never trust him agian or never tell him secrets of the order or anything else. that is just me. I don't hold grudges i got backstabed and the vackstabbwer still my best friend but it was minor,
Emeline
Same for me, at the end, I would forgive him, but I'll never forget what he's done!
Souljacker
I know he did some terrible thinks, but I’d still have to go with, forgive him completely.

If I was one of the Weasleys, in particular Molly or Arthur I’d have to go with the old axiom; 'true love is unconditional.'
Yes Percy completely ousted his family and helped drag Harry's name through the mud, but IMHO, these actions don’t warrant a life sentence of rejection from his family. Everyone’s entitled to make mistakes, have errors in judgement or even rebel. Personally this is all Percy was doing.

From Mrs. Wesley’s point of view at any rate I’d say she'd take Percy back with open arms, (apology or not) after all her boggart took the form of a dead Percy like anyone else.

I predict that Percy will come back to the Weasleys with his tail between his legs and apologise (maybe after a bit of persuasion, reassurance and encouragement from Molly, that his siblings won't skin him alive tongue.gif ) but ultimately they’ll be reunited and all will be right with the world again

Ok... wink.gif he is a Wealsy and well... you know you can't stay mad at a Weasly, lol! Also...

I think that if anything Percy was helping the order, as “warning them” I cant really explain it,(if you wish I do then I will) I just know Percy’s not bad! He did some horrible things, but, if you really look back and read through it a couple times it all helped, somehow… if I need to further my explanation please insists. But as to the poll, I would forgive Percy, that is after he apologized. I’m not one to shut people down. laugh.gif
sexy-lass
The Weasleys are nice people, and they are very undersanding and if Percy comes home with an apologise and flowers [for mrs Weasleys. i am shour they let him come home.
Tom`Riddle
i have to admit i just voted forgive him completly, simply because I think he's got some undercover thing going and has to put on the "evil , suck-up " front. if im wrong, curse him!
Miss_Moonstone
I think I'd have trouble talking to him again.
Wendelin the Weird
Curse the evil git! mad.gif

MOD EDIT : Posts need to be at least FIVE words long. This does not include smileys. Please read the rules.
Sofie
id forgive him if he apologised...but only because of Molly blink.gif

he isnt truly evil, so he deserved an apologise(sp?), but he is such an ugly GIT!!!!! mad.gif mad.gif

-forgive but never forget-
abdar
i dont think i could ever talk to him again, something like what happend to Hagrid should happen to him. Even if he apologises
Lulu
I would've forgive him but only if he apologiezed first. The Order need all the support they can get, right?
Tarak Raskhan
i would forgive him if he comes begging for forgiveness.
Nawrehsuan
I think that I would use the silent treatment. Even if he begged for forgiveness I would not accept it but in the end I would probably forgive because the order needs all the help they can get.
Godric Gryffindor
I'd never forgive him, hmmmmm maybe add a jinx or hex as well? laugh.gif
gryffin_hauz_88
I could forgive him but never forget then I;ll give him a silent treatment. What does he want? I already forgiven him and that's enough. It was his fault, anyway.

**HoooH... I'm sounding so mean...** laugh.gif
Jordan94
I chose give him the silent treatment. He was so stuck up and snooty in the 5th book i could never forgive him. mad.gif
tonks1118
After he made his mother cry for another time, in the 6th book, I don't think I could forgive him and don't think he is ever coming back to the family. If he does what is your vote? If he doesn't what do you think will happen to him in the last book? Still doing boring work at the ministry, will he die?? What do you think?
weasley wizard wheezes
Well the twins< who I might add I love wub.gif, dId in the 6th book with Ginny so I would to. The Twins think it was a good idea so I do to. What the Twins say or do goes.
Lady Oymre
Use the silent treatment on him! This is a great tactic that I use on my sister all the time and it works but although I think that Mrs Weasley will forgive him I'm not sure everyone else will, especially Fred and George.
magically delicious
I think I'd have a really hard time forgiving him. I think he's an evil git. If I ever talked to him again, I'd probably hex him a few good times first. And if I forgave him, I probably wouldn't trust him with anything ever again.
Balderdash!
I'd forgive him if he apologised. It would be enough of a torment for him anyway, the idea of admitting that he was wrong. I daresay he deserves worse, but then again, he wouldn't apologise anyway.
karsh05
i voted "forgive percy if he apologized". family is family right? and who wouldnt accept a true harted apology? I'm sure if percy appologied at least molly, would accept him back whole heartly. hug.gif
HermioneClone
I'd forgive Percy if he apologized. I'm not one to actively hold grudges. I think he's been a right little pompous bighead, but it doesn't mean that he doesn't deserve a second change. Maybe some chocolate added and all would be forgiven. happy.gif
Ginevra
I would curse him 'cause he was so mean! He practically disowned himself, especially in a time when family is important! He told his brother that his best friend was unstable and violent, even though Ron could have -- and did -- come to his own conclusion. He hated Dumbledore and was happy when he got caught. He is so full of himself and is mean and slanderous about his family, especially his father. Molly might accept him back but the Twins and Ron and Ginny, or maybe Arthur too would never forgive him for being...well, Percy-ish.
dream_of_a_siren
OK, my friend and I were so mad at him. Either a dung bomb firing squad manned by his entire family, or make him listen to horrible American Idol performers at the max volume until his brains explode. Everybody's happy! smile.gif
kati_miller48
Where would the world be if we always had to punish other people (or ourselves). I think he should be welcomed back with love no matter what, but he's the one who has to come back first. sleep.gif
luckyfish
I personally am the type of person that holds grudges, but with my memory I will forget anything that happened in a week or so! happy.gif But concidering the situation and the fact that no one would let me forget what he did in the wizarding world especially to harry and his mother and his family...Showing off and acting proud certainly don't go together so he really looked like a real pompous git! biggrin.gif
But if he did ask for forgiveness I would forgive him cos he would feel like a real idiot for what he did and he should feel ashamed and besides no matter the people, we all need the help we can get in the Order, woudn't you say? sleep.gif
Padfoot08
Hmmmm.. I voted to not forgive even if he apologized. I would probably give him the silent treatment, too. Forsakeing (sp?) his family, arguing with his father, resenting his mother,... I really
dislike him!!
goginnygrlpower
Well, I agree with kati_mille48, he has made some bad choices, but if he apologized, I would definitly forgive him. You have to understand that it is a very stressful time for wizards, many were in denial, and now that the secret is out, they are embarrassed. i think that deep, deep, deep down, percy is a good person and will eventually apologize. i just hope he does before it is too late. ermm.gif
Everseer
I'd use the silent treatment on him...

Why?... Because that's why he has done with his own family. He left them and began to feel like, let's say, the 'Minister's Boy' or something...

For example, in the hearing, he doesn't see Harry, not to mention greet him. He just makes as he even didn't see him...

Same with his father, Mr. Weasley, when they come out (he followed by the Minister) doesn't even try to get a look on him...

When his father gets bad by the bite from the snake, he doesn't care either and let him as he didn't know the Weasley family...

On Scrimgeour's visit to the Burrow he let himself being used by Rufus to get to Harry, and he doesn't care his mother's feeling about his 'come back'...

I would show him the same he didi to see if he really likes it...

Ever~
Veneficus_Diligo
I think percy is just blinded by his ambition to make something more of himself than people expect. When you come from a poor family, it seems (and usually is) more of a struggle to "come up" in the world....he got blinded by that, and forgot what was important. I think that as his parents, Molly and Arthur can't help but forgive him, when he's ready to be forigiven...
Harry_Ginny777
Percy turned on his Family doesn't even talk to them any more it is sick so i would not forgive even if he apologized Percy had know right to do thta to his nice loving family if i were the weasleys i wouldn't even call him a Weasley any more.he is a Traitor and nothing more.
wizkid_12
i would give him the silent treatment for a while. until he did something to make up for it. either that or i would curse him and then forgive him after that
rjtwerp
I don't think i would ever forgive Percy if i was in his family...If he tried to come to me and appologise...i would jinx him...unless he was truely sorry and he explained himself fully. Or if something happened to him or any one of the Weasleys and he was there and was conserned for them...then i would forgive him. But in the mean time...I woud defidently curse him if i could! laugh.gif
DoubleD
I won't never forgive Percy, because he decided to go on Fudges and Scrimgeours side and he betrayed his own family!!!
lozza-cm
CURSE HIM!!!!

i actually love that JKR made percy and outcast i cant stand him!!!

firstly i would wait for him to try and use the weasleys to get to harry again then i would organise and attack involving several garden knombs, a flying butterbeer and fred and georges finest punching telescopes!!!

DOWN WITH PERCY!!!
dreams of hogwarts

I'd forgive him because he's clearly being the world's biggest Prat and will come around eventually. He's got good blood running through his veins; he's just a bit power-hungry at the moment.

x-o-x-guess who-x-o-x
i would never ever ever forgive percy! no matter what happens. he is a selfish little git who doesnt care about anyone else but himself. he said so many things to his father that i thought was very very rude. like no one and i mean no one says all that to their dad. well maybe some people but i hateeeeeeeeeeeeee percy and i would never forgive him no matter what! mad.gif
EliasOsiris
It would have to be one heck of an apology for me to forgive Percy.

Really, it's hard to believe he's in Gryffindor and not Slytherin. Ambition is, after all, a Slytherin trait. Remember him reading the book (I think it was in COS) Prefects Who Gained Power? I'm not buying the blinded by ambition stuff either. Percy knows the difference between right and wrong. It's just, as Dumbledore said after Cedric's death, a matter of deciding between what is right and what is easy. Percy has definately chosen the easy path because it gets him where he wants.

Percy would have to admit that it was his choice to act way he is and not offer some lame exuse like he was caught up in the moment; that the welfare of the people around him, his friends and family, meant less than his own ambition. Can't see that happening anytime soon.
HPFan792
I would use the silent treatment on Percy.I really don't think i would want to talk to him because of the way he was and probably still is,even if he apologizes.
Waterlilly
I wouldn't forgive Percy even if he did apologize. My reason is he turned his back on his family and went with Fudge. I would never speak to him again even if he begged for my forgiveness. Also, I would tell my friends to give him the silent treatment when he would be around and he wanted to talk to them. He would have to earn my trust.
Dumbledore's Son
I would use the silent treatment on Percy because that is exactly what he did to the Weasleys
shorty10
Percy is the biggest dork of the HP series
ashlee_rae
forgive Percy if he apologized.
I would i really like person but i didnt like him much in the 5th book.
Loopy_Luna
Percy has hurt a lot of people, especially his family.

They are hurt and Angry but I think that if Percy had the guts to apologise they would forgive him.

Even Fred and George.............. eventually.

I think they would be right to do this
Perure
It seems that everybody is just judging without knowing why he did as he did, yes he's an overambitious but he did what he saw best for his own career... Personally I would forgive him and his actions as long as he learns to listen to people that's not always in the good grace of the ministry...
