Okay we know how the Slytherin house looks, well the common room. Am I the only one who would love to know how the other houses look on the inside?

Yes that would be interesting, but it's not terribly important, and I highly doubt that Mrs. Rowling will add it into the remaining books, as Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw really have no important roles as houses. But it would definitely be interesting.

Well, I do believe Jo has said herself that Harry might get to see some of the other houses common rooms...I personally hope it's while he's visiting Luna

I'll try to find the quote...

Hmm...maybe, heh. It would be nice to see inside of them, but they'll probably have the same stuff the other commonrooms do, just a different animals mascot, and different colors.

Yes, I definitely wonder about the other common rooms and where they are. I think it would be interesting to see what kind of stuff in there, what types of passwrods they use (maybe there's no difference, but Slytherin's passwords are based on the Slytherin philosophy), and learn more about what goes on in there. Maybe it's not that difference, but we wouldn't know until we saw what was inside the rooms.

Yeah I sure would love to know what the Hufflepuff Common Room looks like... But we may never know. Especially if the last book doesn't even take place at Hogwarts.

That would be very interesting. not essential, just interesting. I am curious on what coridors they are...We still have hope that Harry will return to Hogwarts so maybe that will happen! Will just have to wait and see

I would love to see what the other common rooms look like. I hope we do. It could be important to the plot, too; Voldemort wanted horcruxes from all the founders, and maybe Harry could find some information about that if he were to see inside their common rooms. I think it would be really interesting, even if it doesn't help the plot much. They probably would be somewhat similar but have stuff that characterizes the specific house. I have always wondered why Harry couldn't use the marauder's map to get inside them. But, to answer the question, yes, I would be very interested to see inside other house common rooms.

It would be interesting to find out what the inside of the other houses look like. I don't see that they are terribly important, but it might provide some useful history. Also many people have been speculating whether or not Harry will meet The Founders of Hogwarts and seeing the inside of the other two houses might help him for some mysterious reason, but that's another theory. If we needed to see the other house common rooms I would have thought that Jk would have shown us already, but you never know.

I don't see how it would be important, but I still really want to see them! This is obviously a clue (from JK, quote in Runa's post) that Harry will go back to Hogwarts, maybe to get Luna? I'm not sure, I just really hope they have some time at Hogwarts!

Also, it might have something to do with the horcruxes. They already have somthing from Slytherin. Now they need something from Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw, maybe Harry will decided to search the common rooms?

Yes! I've always wondered that. I'm thinking hufflepuff looks like Gryffindor's but has perhaps a private food stock and pictures of fat people on the walls.

For Ravenclaw I bet it has a bunch of books around the whole room.
I guess it's not really relevant but it would be nice to know

Isn't Raveclaw "going to have their day" in DH? I think JKR said that at one point ... in that case, maybe Harry will see other common rooms. Ok, this is how i imagine them though:
Hufflepuff:
I nice cosy little common room, a big fire and notice board, with lots of tables and sofas and squashy stuff (Lol, i love squashy stuff like beenbags!) and everything is yellow. Well, not everything, but you know how we all see the gryffindor common room as red? Well, same for Hufflepuff, but yellow.
Ravenclaw:
Lot's of tables and book shelves, a few desks maybe and a big fire and notice board. The chairs will be firm, but soft. Like not hard, but like a chair with a cushion on it, or something like that. And a few sofas. Oh, and everything is blue. Well, not everything, but see above. lol
I imagined this from the houses personalities. Hufflepuffs are generaly happy, friendly people (Besides Zacharius Smith) easy going, and i can just imagine them all in cosy armchairs. Ravenclaws as book lovers, like Hermione, i can see them doing homework and disscussing work and stuff. the common room would just suit them. lol.

Hufflepuffs common room is down by the great hall. Since they are more earthy than others. So they stay on the ground. Slytherin is underground the lake I believe. The Gryffindor common room is up the stairs & Ravenclaw is up in a tower. Their locations if you notice reflect on there nature

OK, We all know what the Gryffindor Common Room looks like I hope. I actually checked them on the web believe it or not, but they may not be reliable.
Slytherins, as we all know, live under the lake so that the room has a strange, green look to it.
The Ravenclaw Common Room has blue chairs, like Gryffindor perhaps. The windows are big and arched and the Ravenclaws have a view of the lake. The roof is domed and is painted like the night sky with stars and constellations and, of course, there are bookshelves. There is also a statue of Ravenclaw with her diadem and the motto, 'Wit beyond measure, is man's greatest treasure'
The Hufflepuff Common Room is in the basement (like the kitchens). From what I know, there is yellow chairs and the dorm rooms have doors as round as barrels.
Hope they help

Ok I have found descriptions on every house!
This is from J.K. Rowling's live web chat after the release of Harry Potter Deathly Hallows
Smallbutpowerful: On behalf of all harry potter fans who consider themselves to be hufflepuffs could you please describe the hufflepuff common room as it is the only common room harry hasn’t visited
J.K. Rowling: The Hufflepuff common room is accessed through a portrait near the kitchens, as I am sure you have deduced. Sorry – I should say ‘painting’ rather than portrait, because it is a still-life. It is a very cozy and welcoming place, as dissimilar as possible from Snape’s dungeon. Lots of yellow hangings, and fat armchairs, and little underground tunnels leading to the dormitories, all of which have perfectly round doors, like barrel tops.
Slytherin Common Room as described on pages 220-221 of the Chamber of Secrets US Hardback edition
The entrance to Slytherin's Common Room is a stretch of bare, damp stone wall. When the password is give a stone door concealed in the wall opens. The Slytherin Common Room was a long, low, underground room rough stone walls and a ceiling from which round, greenish lamps were hanging on chains. A fire was cracking under an elaborately carved mantelpiece ahead of them, and several Slytherins were silhouetted around it in high black chairs.
Ravenclaw Common Room as described on pages 586-587 of the Deathly Hallows US Hardback edition
At last they reached a door. There was no handle and no key hole: nothing but a plain expanse of aged wood, and a bronze knocker in the shape of an eagle. When the door is knocked upon the eagle opens and asks a question in a soft, musical voice.
The deserted Ravenclaw common room was a wide, circular room, airer than any Harry had ever seen at Hogwarts. Graceful arched windows punctuated the walls, which were hung with blue-and-bronze silks: By day, the Ravenclaws would have a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains. The ceiling was domed and painted with stars, which were echoed in the midnight-blue carpet. There were tables, chairs, and bookcases, and in a niche opposite the door stood a tall statue of white marble.
Harry recognized Rowena Ravenclaw from the bust he had seen at Luna's house. The statue stood beside a door, he guessed led to dormitories above.
Gryffindor common room as described on pages 129- of the SS/PS US Hardback edition.
At the very end of the corridor hung a portrait of a very fat woman in a pink, silk dress. When the password is given the portrait swung forward to reveal a round hole in the wall. They all scrambled through it- Neville needed a leg up- and found themselves in the Gryffindor common room, a cozy, round room full of squashy armchairs.
Percy directed the girls through one door to their dormitory and boy through another. At the top of a spiral staircase- they were obviously in one of the towers- they found their beds at last: five four-posters hung with deep red, velvet curtains.
