What ones have you seen all you desi people?

I've seen a lot....and I don't really like them all that much because of all the super corny songs that they have.....except for Fiza because it had Mehboob Mere on it. (Meh and another forums user danced to it in 5th grade XD)

finally a desi movie forum!!! i love a lot of movies. i am not going to write down all of them. i love all shahrukh movies. hrithik is alright. my favorite song is bumbro from mission kashmir

Man, now I'm going to have that songs playing through my head for the rest of the day. It's an easy song to dance to at weddings. A bit overdone though.

I've seen some Indian movies and i've heard a lot of Indian music because i've lived in Nepal four years! I think Indian movies are cool, but it's not those kind of movies I usually watch (it's also kind of hard to get here in Norway too!) But as I said, I don't like dislike Indian movies! they're pretty cool (even if I have to admit that some of them are quite funny...lol)!

i hate it when they make really stupid movies... like "Dil Pardesi Ho Gaya" i just watched it and almost threw up :x

ARGH! My relatives just sit and eat and watch the tv all day. Right now they're watching Hum Saath Saath Hain, that movie is SOOOO STUPID!!!

*vomits* As if ANY family could be like that....

i hate that movie.... everyone knows that people arent like that in real life... well i guess that is why it is a movie. that movie is too happy for me.

I love the movie Bhoot. That movie was so very scary. I had nightmares for like a week, it was serioulsy scary.

Hey, have you noticed that they seem to use the "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" (GOOD MOVIE) theme in some of the movies that Sharukh Khan is in? It's getting annoing.....like they used in Kabi Khushi Kabhi Ghum and I think they used it in Kal Ho Naa Ho too.

I saw the movie Koi Mil Gaya.... it was ok...sorta. me and my friends made fun of hrithik because of that movie ( i know i am a very bad person). Bhoot was scary. i liked that movie except the ending was kind of anticlimatic. and they do use kuch kuch hota hai (very good movie) theme in khabi khushi khabi gham. but i dont think they did in kaal ho na ho (he dies! aaah! )

India's movie market is too monopolizing. Censorship is much too strong, for the only type of movies ever released are family films (or "filims"). Hrithik Roshan tries way too hard; I forget the movie, but he's in a movie coming out where his dance moves...they're just blasphemy.

I like a few Hindi movies, but I forget the names.

Although, "American Desi" was a very goodly movie, though, I'm not sure if that counts.

American Desi? Never heard of it. My favorite movie is Bend it like Beckham though. XD I loved that movie!!

My dad starts to freak out whenever he sees Ajay Devgan in a movie. He's filthy rich-SURELY he can afford a tooth job, or are plastic surgeons waaaay too afraid to operate on his mouth? Come to think of it, I wouldn't do it....his mouth is just waaaay too gross.

my parents play that song over and over and over..... then they start to dance to it... that is when i know i have to leave the room. eeew...

Nope, I don't watch too many Indian movies to be honest. Ever since my parents got Satellite.....ARGH! That's like all they watch.

I miss Hum Dil de Chuke Sanam....it like dissappeared from my house. But that was a good movie. Except for the ending. She soooo should have went with Salman Khan. He was geekily hot in that movie.

And "Nimboora" is just a classic song. Taal was good too....except for Akshay Khanna. He RUINED it! Lol, but Anil Kapoor was pretty funny in that movie. And the songs from Taal are good.....

Hahahahahaha, I have a huge nose too. I danced to Jab Dil Mile once....improvising of course. It was BAD. Lol, but the old ladies love it. I'm telling you, if people ever make you desi dance, pick a fast dance, and step, shake, and do some hand movement all at once. They LOVE it! >.<

eeww.. i hate going to weddings where old ladys watch you dance. and thanks for the advice, i am not much of a dancer. i remember at my cousins wedding, one of my cousins set up this thing where we have partners. my partner was really cute and i couldnt dance. so i felt so stupid :oops:

Oooh...partners? Lol, I have to move around at my cousins' weddings....and they're all like the same age.....and they're all deciding to get married around the same time, hehe.

It's loads of fun though...because I get to see all my other cousin's again!

my cousins are same in age too but most of them are still young. so there arent many weddings... untill next year! (yayz)

lol they do! i remember watching one, then after that i stopped watching paki movies. devdas and kal ho na ho are soo sad and shah rukh is such a great actor! remember how he used to be in his older movies!? Anjaam and Dar. he changed a lot!!

i voted shah rukh! he is the best!!! i like all of the other actors too except salman khan i think he over acts and i hate the way he dances *chichora* anyways, the only movie of salman khan that i like is Tere Naam

yeah shah rukh rox!!! he is the best. Salman khan can't dance at all. but he acted really well in Tere Naam. not fond of his hair in that movie however. lol but that movie made me cry SOOO MUCH! and the mental place he went 2 was kinda creepy. athe end was really sad. the only person i really don't like on the list is Hrithik. he overacts, especially in the movie Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon. that was just sad and very annoying.

He did change alot. his acting has improved and he is like every movie now day and they call him the King Khan. lol have u guys seen Main Hoon Naa yet? im still waiting to c it. it looks very good and the songs are nice as usual with any shah rukh khan movie.
